Abstract
SE PROVEE UN METODO PARA EL CONTROL DIGITAL AUTOMATICO DE LA GANANCIA (CAG) EN UN RECEPTOR PROVISTO DE UN RANGO DINAMICO LIMITADO, EN PARTICUALAR PARA SEÑALES DISCONTINUAS. EL METODO SE CARACTERIZA POR EL HECHO DE QUE DETECTA EL NIVEL DE UNA SEÑAL RECIBIDA Y DE CAG, COMPARANDO EL NIVEL DEL LA SEÑAL CAG CON EL RENGO DINAMICO DEL RECEPTOR, Y AJUSTANDO EL CAG PARA ESTABLECER UNA RELACION DESEADA ENTRE LA SEÑAL CAG Y LA LIMITACION DEL RANGO DINAMICO. TAMBIEN SE PROVEE UN METODO DE MANOS SUELTAS EN UN SISTEMA DE TRANSMISION TIPO CELULAR TDMA QUE UTILIZA ESTE METODO DE CONTROL AG. EL METODO PARA EL CONTROL AUTOMATICO DE GANANCIA (CAG) DE LAS SEÑALES DISCONTINUAS EN UN RECEPTOR PROVISTO DE RANGO DINAMICO LIMITADO SE CARACTERIZA ADICIONALMENTE POR EL HECHO DE QUE: DIGITALIZANDO (A/D) UNA SEÑAL DISCONTINUA RECIBIDA CAG Y CONVIRTIENDO LAS MUESTRAS DIGITALIZADAS EN MUESTRAS DE POTENCIA PARA CAPTAR LA POTENCIA Y DETECTAR EL NIVEL DE LA SEÑAL, COMPARANDO EL NIVEL DE LA SEÑAL CAG CON RESPECTO AL RANGO DINAMICO DEL RECEPTOR; Y AJUSTANDO POR APROXIMACION YA SEA ATENUANDO PROGRESIVAMENTE LA SEÑAL HASTA QUE ENTRE EN EL RANGO DINAMICO DEL RECEPTOR O AMPLIFICANDO PROGRESIVAMENTE LA GANANCIA DE LA SEÑAL HASTA QUE ENTRE DENTRO DEL RANGO DINAMICO LIMITADO DEL RECEPTOR Y FINALMENTE AJUSTANDO EL CAG DE LA SEÑAL RECIBIDA HASTA QUE SE LOGRE UNA UTILIZACION OPTIMA DEL RANGO DINAMICO (BIEN QUE) DE LAS ETAPAS DE PROCESAMIENTO DE LA SEÑAL DE APROXIMADAMENTE 6-12 DB POR DEBAJO DEL MAXIMO PARA ESTABLECER UNA RELACION DESEADA ENTRE LA SEÑAL CAG Y LA LIMITACION DEL RANGO DINAMICO.
