EL ACIDO NITRICO Y AL ACIDO SULFURICO SE SEPARAN DE LOS DINITROTOLUENOS, OBTENIDOS EN LA DINITRACION DEL TOLUENO CON UNA MEZCLA QUE CONTIENE DICHOS ACIDOS, MEZCLANDO LOS DINITROTOLUENOS OBTENIDOS DESPUES DE SEPARAR LA MAYOR PARTE DE ACIDOS SULFURICO Y NITRICO, QUE CONTIENEN TODAVIA HASTA 6% EN PESO DE ACIDO SULFURICO Y HASTA 5% DE ACIDO NITRICO, CON HASTA 10% EN PESO DE AGUA REFERIDA A LA CANTIDAD DE DINITROTOLUENO. A CONTINUACION SE SEPARA LA FASE ACUOSA QUE CONTIENE LOS ACIDOS SULFURICO Y NITRICO.
