Abstract

The present invention relates to a clutch release bearing mounting comprising a buffing part 7, suitably attached to the clutch release device 2, secure fastening means comprising a coupling member 14 which are suitable for providing an axial link between the said buffing part and an attacking part 16 belonging to the bearing 1, and in engagement with a bearing surface 10 of the buffing part and a bearing surface 22 of the attacking part 16, the said bearing surface being formed by one of the walls of a groove 24, the other of the walls 27 being axially movable with respect to the first by belonging to an unfastening piece 26, bearing mounting in which the bearing 1 has at least two bearing faces 43, for action of a control member 45, and the unfastening piece 23 has a radially projecting collar 31 for action of a control member, characterised in that the clutch release bearing 1 has, at least level with the base of one of the bearing faces 43, a retractable face 44 arranged between the bearing face 43 and the collar 31.
