LA BRIDA DE APRIETE (1) ESTA COMPUESTA POR UN CASQUILLO (2) HENDIDO CUYAS EXTREMIDADES (3) Y (4) ESTAN UNIDAS POR UN ORGANO DE APRIETE TANGENCIAL (5). SEGUN LA INVENCION, EL CASQUILLO (2) ESTA FORMADO POR UN REPLEGADO SOBRE SI MISMO DE UN PAR DE LUNETAS CORTADAS EN UNA PIEZA PLANA DE FORMA QUE EL EJE DE PLEGADO (6) CONTENGA AL ORGANO DE APRIETE TANGENCIAL (5). EL CASQUILLO (2) PRESENTA UNA BANDA DE CONTACTO (7) DISPUESTA SOBRE SU PERIFERIA INTERNA. EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE FABRICACION DE LA BRIDA DE APRIETE CONSISTE A PARTIR DE UNA PLACA DE CHAPA, EN CORTAR DOS LUNETAS CUYOS BORDES INTERIORES SE REPLIEGAN PARA FORMAR LA SUPERFICIE DE APOYO DEL CASQUILLO Y A CONTINUACION REPLEGAR LA CITADA PIEZA CORTADA SOBRE SI MISMA PARA HACER CORRESPONDER LOS CORTES DE LAS LUNETAS. LA INVENCION ENCUENTRA SU APLICACION PARTICULARMENTE EN LA INDUSTRIA DEL AUTOMOVIL PARA ASEGURAR LA UNION ESTANCA DE LOS COLECTORES DE ESCAPE CON LOS SILENCIADORES.
