- the power semiconductor assembly is arranged in a housing.
- Figure 1 shows schematically different views of an arrangement 1000 according to the invention with a press-in contact element 1 and a sleeve 7 with a longitudinal extension 100 in the z-direction, which at the same time corresponds to the press-in direction.
- Figure 1b a top view from the y direction
- Figure 1a a cut along line AA and a top layer pointing to this cut in the x direction
- Figure 1c shows a corresponding section along the line BB and also a layer on top of this section in the x direction.
- the press-in contact element 1 of the arrangement 1000 according to the invention has a preferably customary press-in section 2 and then, in the negative z-direction, a connecting section 3, which connects the press-in section 2 with a compensating section 4.
- This compensation section 4 is followed by an insertion section 5, with the compensation section 4 and the insertion section 5 merging directly into one another.
- the press-fit contact element 1 also has a partial blocking section 60,62, with the two partial blocking sections 60,62 together forming a blocking section 6.
- the partial blocking sections 60, 62 are each freed from the compensating section 4 by recesses.
- the compensation section 4 itself is designed to be elastic, particularly in the longitudinal direction and therefore also in the z-direction. For this purpose, it is designed in an S-shape with two arcs 40, 42 that merge into one another. Due to this configuration, the compensating section 4 is designed to respond to a longitudinal movement of the press-in section 2 in the longitudinal direction, i.e. the negative z-direction, of the press-in contact element 1 towards the insertion section 5 to be compressed and thus reduce its linear expansion 100 in the compensation section 4.
- the insertion section 5 is designed to be arranged in a positive or non-positive manner in a receiving section 70 of a sleeve 7 of the arrangement 1000, cf Figure 4 .
- the receiving section 70 is designed as a hollow cylinder and therefore has in particular a recess 72 in which the insertion section 5 of the press-fit contact element 1 is arranged and fixed.
- the sleeve 7 has a foot section 74 with a fastening section 76.
- This fastening section 76 of the foot section 74 is designed to be arranged in a materially bonded manner on a conductor track 80 of a substrate 8, cf Figure 4 .
- This cohesive connection can be done either by means of a Welded connection, i.e. without additional connecting means arranged between the fastening section 76 and the conductor track 80, can be formed.
- the cohesive connection can be designed as a solder or sintered connection, in which case there is a connecting means between the foot section 74 and the conductor track 80.
- the connection can be designed flat or structured or at points.
- the fastening section 76 is basically arranged on an insulating material body 82 of the substrate 8 or on a conductor track 80 of the substrate 8.
- the blocking section 6 is basically designed to have a blocking surface 600 on a blocking counter surface 700 of the foot section 74 of the sleeve 7, cf. Figure 4 , to support and thus to limit the longitudinal movement of the press-in section 2 in the direction of the insertion section 5.
- the respective blocking surface 600 is set back by an offset 560 in the z direction compared to the insertion section 5 in the z direction. If the insertion section 5 is arranged in the recess 72, not shown here, of the receiving section 70 of the sleeve and is therefore connected in a non-positive or positive manner, the offset 560 corresponds exactly to the possible reduction in the linear expansion 100.
- Figures 2 to 4 show a possible embodiment of the sleeve 7 according to the invention and the press-fit contact element 1 of the arrangement 1000, more precisely a section thereof, and in the Figures 3 and 4 its arrangement on a substrate 8 as part of a power semiconductor assembly or a power semiconductor module.
- the press-in contact element 1 shown is basically similar to the one according to Figure 1 built up. It has a press-in section 2, not shown, of standard design, and then in the negative z-direction a connecting section 3, which has a first and a second main surface 30, 32 arranged parallel to it and each flat, the normal direction of which is in the positive or negative direction y direction runs.
- a compensating section 4 then adjoins the connecting section 3. This is immediately followed by an insertion section 5, whereby the insertion section runs in the negative z-direction and is designed to have a shape or shape to be arranged non-positively in the receiving section 70 of the sleeve 7, which is designed as a hollow cylinder.
- the compensation section 4 itself is designed to be elastic. For this purpose, it is S-shaped with two arches 40, 42 that merge into one another, i.e. are adjacent to one another. Here, a first arch section 44 of the first arch 40 protrudes in the normal direction over the first main surface 30, while a second arch section 46 of the second arch 42 protrudes in the normal direction over the second main surface 32. Due to this configuration, the compensation section 4 is designed to be compressed towards the insertion section 5 during a longitudinal movement of the press-in section 2 in a longitudinal direction, here the negative z-direction, of the press-in contact element 1 and thus its linear extension 100, cf. Figure 1 , to reduce.
- the press-fit contact element 1 of the arrangement 1000 also has a blocking section 6.
- This is designed as two partial blocking sections 60,62, with the compensating section 4 being arranged almost completely between the two partial blocking sections 60,62.
- the blocking section 6, here both partial blocking sections 60, 62, are pin-shaped.
- Both partial blocking sections 60, 62 have a blocking surface 600 at their end lying in the longitudinal direction and thus facing the substrate.
- the respective blocking surface 600 is oriented parallel to an associated blocking counter surface 700 on the foot section 74 of the sleeve 7.
- the sleeve 7 has a receiving section 70, here designed as a hollow cylinder, with a recess 72 in which the insertion section 5 of the press-fit contact element 1 is arranged.
- the recess 72 can be arranged in the receiving section 70 and partially or completely in the foot section 74, so that the recess 72 extends, for example, through the entire sleeve 7, cf. Figure 2c .
- the receiving section 70 and also its recess 72 can also be designed with edges, i.e. as a cuboid or more generally as a prism, cf. Figure 2b .
- the sleeve 7 has the foot section 74 adjacent to the receiving section 70 in the negative z direction. This is also designed here as an example of a cylinder. In another embodiment, like the receiving section 70, it can also be designed with edges.
- the foot section 74 points in The blocking counter surface 700 is in the positive z direction.
- the foot section 74 has the fastening section 76.
- the fastening section 76 is arranged on a section of a conductor track 80 of the substrate 8 and is materially connected to it. The cohesive connection can be made using one of the connection types listed above.
- the power semiconductor assembly according to the invention shown in a detail Figure 3 and 4 is designed as part of a power semiconductor module. It has a substrate 8 and a plurality of press-fit contact elements 1, only one of which is shown as an example. Without limiting the generality, the substrate 8 itself has a rigid insulating material body 82 and then a plurality of conductor tracks 80, only one of which is also shown.
- the press-in contact element 1 is arranged here with its insertion section 5 in a non-positive and positive manner in the recess 72 of the receiving section 70 of the sleeve 7.
- the blocking surface 600 of the respective partial blocking section 60, 62 is at a distance from the foot section 74 of the sleeve 7 and the blocking counter surface 700 formed there.
- the blocking counter surface 700 is a surface section of the foot section 74 as such.
- further metallization can also be arranged on the conductor track 80.
- Such a metallization can be, for example, a solder layer or a sintered metal layer, especially if the cohesive connection of the fastening section 76 foot section 74 with the conductor track 80 is designed as a solder or sintered connection.
- the blocking section 6 or here the two partial blocking sections 60, 62 in cooperation with the respectively assigned blocking counter surfaces 700 of the substrate 8, serve to move the press-in section 2, in particular as part of the press-in process, in the longitudinal direction towards the insertion section 5 or the substrate 8 with its respective blocking surface 600 on the associated blocking counter surface 700 and thus to limit the longitudinal movement of the press-in section 2 in the longitudinal direction. This limit is reached as soon as the respective blocking surface 600 lies flat on the associated blocking counter surface 700.

This object is achieved according to the invention by an arrangement with a press-in contact element and with a sleeve, the press-in contact element having a press-in section, a connecting section, a compensating section, an insertion section and a blocking section, the compensating section being designed to be elastic and designed to do so during a longitudinal movement of the press-in section Longitudinal direction of the press-fit contact element to be compressed towards the insertion section and thus to reduce its linear extension and wherein the sleeve has a receiving section and a foot section which has a blocking counter surface and a fastening section, the insertion section being designed to be arranged in the receiving section, the fastening section being therefor is designed to be cohesively arranged on a conductor track of a substrate and wherein the blocking section is designed to be supported with a blocking surface on the blocking counter surface of the sleeve and to limit the longitudinal movement of the press-in section in the direction of the insertion section.
What is crucial and essential to the invention is that the press-fit contact element is arranged in a sleeve.
The term “longitudinal direction” here and below is intended to mean the direction that is opposite to the direction of pressing the press-in section into a corresponding opening, for example as part of a circuit board or other current-conducting element, such as a connecting rail. The longitudinal direction therefore corresponds to a negative press-in direction.
It may be preferred if the insertion section of the press-fit contact element is arranged in a positive or non-positive manner in the receiving section.
It may be particularly preferred that the receiving section of the sleeve is designed as a hollow cylinder.
In particular, it can be advantageous if the length of the receiving section in the normal direction is 10%, in particular 20%, of the length of the press-fit contact element in the normal direction.
It can be advantageous if the connecting section of the press-fit contact element has a first and a flat main surface arranged parallel thereto.
It can also be advantageous if the compensation section of the press-fit contact element has an arch or a plurality of arches, preferably adjacent to one another. It is particularly advantageous if the compensation section is S-shaped.
It may be preferred if a first arc section of a first arc of the compensating section of the press-fit contact element protrudes in the normal direction beyond the first main surface. In addition, it may be preferred if a second arc section of a second arc of the compensating section protrudes in the normal direction beyond the second main surface.
It can also be advantageous if the blocking section of the press-fit contact element is pin-shaped and the blocking surface is arranged at the end of the blocking section lying in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal direction preferably forms the surface normal of the blocking surface.
In particular, it is preferred if the blocking section of the press-fit contact element is designed as two partial blocking sections and the compensating section or a section thereof is arranged between the two partial blocking sections or if the compensating section is designed as two partial compensating sections and the blocking section or a section thereof is arranged between the two partial compensating sections .
The above-mentioned object is further achieved according to the invention by a power semiconductor assembly with an arrangement as described above and with a substrate and conductor tracks arranged on its insulating material body, the fastening section of the sleeve being arranged in a materially bonded manner on a section of one of these conductor tracks of the substrate and the insertion section of the press-fit contact element being thereto is designed to be arranged in the receiving section of the sleeve, the blocking section being designed and provided to move on the press-in section in the longitudinal direction Insertion section to be supported with its blocking surface on a blocking counter surface of the sleeve and thus to limit the longitudinal movement of the press-in section in the longitudinal direction towards the insertion section.
It is preferred here if the substrate is designed with an insulating ceramic as a carrier for the conductor tracks or as a rigid circuit board or as a flexible circuit board.
It can be advantageous if the power semiconductor assembly is arranged in a housing.
Of course, unless this is explicitly or per se excluded or contradicts the idea of the invention, the features mentioned in the singular can be present multiple times. Figure 1 shows schematically different views of an arrangement according to the invention. -
Figures 2 to 4 show a possible design of the sleeve according to the invention and the press-fit contact element.
The press-in
The
In the embodiment of the press-in
A compensating
According to the invention, the press-
Without applying force in the longitudinal direction of the press-
