Die erfindungsgemäße Potentialausgleichseinheit 1 für bewegte Seile einer seilgezogenen Fördereinrichtung, wie in Fig.1 dargestellt, besteht im Wesentlichen aus einer Bürste mit zumindest einem Bürstenkörper 2 und zumindest einer elastischen Kontaktborste 3 aus elektrisch leitfähigem Kunststoff, wie beispielsweise elektrisch leitfähiges Polyamid. In der Regel ist ein Bürstenflor aus einer Vielzahl nebeneinander angeordneter elastischer Kontaktborsten 3 aus elektrisch leitfähigem Kunststoff vorgesehen. Die zumindest eine Kontaktborste 3 ist im Bürstenkörper 2 angeordnet. Bei mehreren Kontaktborsten 3 können auch mehrere Bürstenkörper 2 vorgesehen sein. Beispielsweise kann der Bürstenkörper 2, in dem die zumindest eine Kontaktborste 3 angeordnet ist, aus einem elektrisch leitfähigen Material, wie beispielsweise Metall oder elektrisch leitfähiger Kunststoff, gefertigt sein. Damit kann die zumindest eine Kontaktborste 3 auch über den Bürstenkörper 2 elektrisch kontaktiert werden. Auch in dieser Ausführung kann am Bürstenkörper 2 der elektrische Leiter 4 zur Kontaktierung der Kontaktborste 3 über den Bürstenkörper 2 angeordnet sein.
