- detachable magnets In order to attach the cutting device to a steel structure or an object with a ferromagnetic coating, such as a UXO object, detachable magnets are used, the magnetic field of which is neutralized only when disconnected. The neutralization of the magnetic field takes place by applying current to a coil wound around the magnet, and the same current application generates a field opposite to the field of a permanent magnet, thanks to which the cutting device can be detached from the steel structure.
