Description
The invention relates to a dark radiator, with a first burner, a fan and a jet pipe, the first burner being connected to a fuel gas supply, the first fan being set up to supply combustion air to the burner, the burner being set up to inject a flame into the Dispense jet pipe.
In the commercial and industrial sectors, dark radiators are often used to heat production and storage facilities. Dark radiators have one or more radiation tubes as radiation elements, to which at least one burner is assigned. By burning a mixture of fuel gas and air within the burner, a flame is created, which can be distributed over the entire length of the radiant tube using a fan. The fuel gas used is natural gas or liquid gas, which is mixed in a mixing chamber in a predetermined ratio, after which it is introduced into the combustion chamber via a nozzle and ignited. As a non-return barrier, the fuel-air mixture is guided through a grid or mesh, which also has the task of holding the flame. The radiant pipes are regularly connected to the burner in a linear or U-shaped manner and should radiate the heat generated by the flame evenly over the entire length of the pipe. The radiant tube is heated evenly by the flame and generates heat radiation that is radiated onto an area to be heated. To increase efficiency, reflectors are often used. The exhaust gases resulting from combustion are removed from the radiant pipe using the fan, for example discharged into the outside air via exhaust pipes.
The above solutions have proven themselves in practice, meaning that dark radiators now have relatively low pollutant emissions while at the same time being highly efficient. The present invention is based on the object of providing a dark radiator whose pollutant emissions are further reduced while maintaining at least the same level of efficiency. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of
The invention provides a dark radiator which has at least the same level of efficiency compared to the prior art and in which pollutant emissions are reduced. The fact that the fuel gas supply is connected to a hydrogen source as a fuel gas source and that a secondary burner is connected downstream in the jet pipe, spaced in the flame direction from the first burner serving as a primary burner, the fuel gas supply of which is connected to a hydrogen source as a fuel gas source, with the secondary burner receiving the exhaust gas flow from the primary burner connected upstream is supplied as combustion air, the exhaust gas theoretically does not contain any carbon-containing pollutants such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide or hydrocarbons, since hydrogen does not contain carbon contains. The secondary burner connected downstream of the primary burner achieves aftertreatment of the exhaust gas from the primary burner, which largely minimizes emissions of nitrogen oxides. It has been shown that due to the high reactivity of the hydrogen, the remaining oxygen content in the exhaust gas from the primary burner is easily sufficient for the combustion of the hydrogen from the secondary burner. In addition, the combustion process in the secondary burner is favored by the temperature of the exhaust gas stream from the primary burner.
In a further development of the invention, the blower is connected to an ejector, the suction connection of which is connected to the hydrogen supply, with the combustion air sucked in by the blower serving as a driving medium, so that a hydrogen-combustion air mixture is supplied to the burner through the blower. This makes it possible to supply a hydrogen-combustion air mixture in a defined mixing ratio, whereby the flame temperature can be adjusted. By setting a high air ratio, i.e. with a high excess of air, the flame temperature can be reduced. Due to the high reactivity of hydrogen, a high air ratio of 2.5 to 3 is possible. In this way, the flame temperature can be brought below the limit temperatures of nitrogen oxide formation and also of the materials of the jet pipe.
In an embodiment of the invention, a compensating element in the form of a compensator is interposed between the primary burner and the secondary burner to compensate for thermally induced changes in length within the jet pipe. This compensator, which is preferably designed as an axial compensator, accommodates the movement of the jet pipe along the axis, thereby avoiding damage to the jet pipe.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the primary burner and/or the secondary burner comprises a gas nozzle, wherein the blower is set up to flush the gas nozzle with combustion air and no fuel gas mixing chamber is arranged for premixing fuel gas and combustion air and the gas nozzle is fed exclusively with fuel gas. This results in a simple and cost-effective construction of the burner. Surprisingly, it has been shown that due to the high reactivity of hydrogen, complete combustion of the hydrogen is achieved without premixing with combustion air. This results in a large flame distance from the gas nozzle until the hydrogen is mixed with the combustion air surrounding the fan, which means that there is no thermal impairment of the gas nozzle. In addition, it has been shown that there is no risk of a flashback, which is why the flame holder in the form of a perforated plate or a wire mesh required in the prior art is not necessary.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the primary burner comprises a gas nozzle which supplies hydrogen to a mixing tube arranged in the jet tube, the mixing tube being flushed with combustion air by the blower, the gas nozzle forming an ejector with the mixing tube, the propellant of the ejector passing through the Hydrogen introduced into the gas nozzle and the medium sucked into the mixing tube is combustion air located in the jet tube and an ignition device for igniting the hydrogen-combustion air mixture is connected downstream in the flame direction at a distance from the mixing tube. This makes it possible to supply a hydrogen-combustion air mixture in a defined ratio. Because the hydrogen is mixed with the combustion air outside the blower only in the mixing tube, the demands on the blower material are reduced, since there is no risk of flame flashback into the blower. A non-return valve is preferably arranged in the mixing tube at its end directed in the flame direction. This prevents flame flashback into the mixing tube.
In a further development of the invention, a combustion air mixing chamber is arranged upstream of the primary burner in the flame direction, which is connected to an air source and an exhaust gas discharge line connected to the jet tube. The addition of exhaust gases to the combustion air reduces oxygen achieved, which enables the flame temperature to be reduced. In addition, the recirculation of the exhaust gas reduces nitrogen oxide emissions.
In an embodiment of the invention, the blower is arranged upstream of the primary burner in the flame direction and the combustion air mixing chamber is arranged within the blower. This ensures good mixing of combustion air and exhaust gas within the fan.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the connection between the exhaust gas discharge line and the combustion air mixing chamber comprises a branching device, through which the ratio of the branched off exhaust gas volume flow directed to the combustion air mixing chamber to the total exhaust gas volume flow is determined. This makes it possible to adjust the oxygen content of the combustion air-exhaust gas mixture. The branching device preferably comprises an adjusting device through which the ratio of the branched off exhaust gas volume flow to the combustion air volume flow can be adjusted.

The
Alternatively, the gas nozzle can also be connected to the
The secondary burner in turn comprises a
The
In this exemplary embodiment, the

The
