Abstract
Description
- The present invention falls within the technical field of automatic actuating devices for rolling blinds or rolling doors of the type used, for example, in garages, shops or some dwellings. More particularly, the present invention describes a device the object of which is the automatic actuation of doors or blinds in a more silent manner with respect to known devices, and which, in the event of locking, can be manually lifted without having to overcome the resistance of the automatic actuating motor.
- Many devices are known in the state of the art for carrying out the automatic actuation of rolling doors and/or rolling blinds.
- However, known devices generate excessive noise and vibrations, which generates serious annoyances wherever they are installed, which sometimes even entails removing the automation from the rolling door.
- Furthermore, the devices known in the state of the art have the drawback that, in the event of failure or locking of the actuating mechanism, they must be manually lifted and the force exerted must also overcome the force of the resistance of the automatic actuating motor. Therefore, depending on the size of the door, a single person may not be able to lift and open it.
- The present invention aims to solve some of the problems mentioned in the state of the art. More particularly, the present invention describes an automatic actuating device for a rolling door or a rolling blind intended to be rolled up on an outer portion of a wheel comprising:
- an internal disc which comprises through holes and is solidly attached to the outer portion, an inner portion that houses said disc in a rotatable manner, the inner portion having a relative rotational movement with respect to the disc,
- In a preferred embodiment, the present invention aims to incorporate an unlocking mechanism to the device described above that enables the actuating force of the motor to be disengaged with respect to the outer portion of the wheel that moves the rolling blind or rolling door, thus enabling, in the event of locking or breakdown, the door to be manually moved without having to overcome the force of the resistance of the motor.
- More particularly, said unlocking mechanism is preferably arranged on the inside of a container that is rigidly attached to the inner portion of the wheel, wherein the unlocking mechanism comprises:
- a fixed cam operatively attached to the inner portion, said fixed cam comprises a perimeter opening defining a perimeter ramp,
- a mobile cam attached to the transmission gear wheel wherein said mobile cam has a portion adapted to fit into the at least one perimeter opening of the fixed cam and is attached to a disc which comprises a tab that penetrates and protrudes through a window of the container, such that, when actuating the motor with the pins housed inside the holes, the transmission gear wheel rotates the mobile cam which in turn pushes the fixed cam, thus enabling the joint movement of the assembly to open or close the rolling door or rolling blind that is rolled up on the outer portion of the wheel,
- By means of the perimeter ramp defined above and the tab, in a preferred embodiment the device comprises, for example, an electromagnetic actuator, or a cable attached to said tab so that when the tab is rotated, it drags the mobile cam through the perimeter ramp moving longitudinally and in turn moving the transmission gear wheel that is attached to the mobile cam, and, consequently, removing the pins from the holes and disengaging the force of the motor from the outer portion of the wheel wherein the door or blind is rolled up and therefore opens or closes it.
- Note that the device with the technical features described enables the door to be lifted manually in the event of a breakdown, without having to overcome the resistance of the motor.
- Likewise, the device can have a spring adapted to perform a thrust force which, once the thrust of the actuator element stops, said thrust force enables the part and the mobile cam to move longitudinally, causing it to rotate and therefore causing the pins to penetrate inside the holes again. The force of the actuator or actuator element will then have to overcome the force of the spring, and once it stops, said spring makes it possible to return to the initial position with the pins inside the holes.
- Furthermore, the device with the technical elements and with the interactions between elements of the mechanism described above has been shown to make less noise than known commercial devices. Specifically, a maximum acoustic emission of between 44 and 55 dB has been measured.
- Preferably, the mobile cam in a locked position with the pins inside the holes fits into the one or more perimeter openings of the fixed cam, both cams forming a cylindrical outer configuration.
- In a preferred embodiment, the fixed cam is provided with two perimeter openings so that when the fixed cam travels along the ramp, another portion of the mobile cam can abut at the second rear opening defining a rear abutment.
- Preferably, the motor is a direct current motor and as it is mounted in the manner described above, it has been successfully used with rolling doors weighing up to 100 Kg with direct current motors of between 30 and 100W, without observing a noticeable heating with very intensive use.
- As a complement to the description provided herein, and for the purpose of helping to make the features of the invention more readily understandable, in accordance with a preferred practical exemplary embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied by a set of drawings constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation, represent the following:
-
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a wheel on which a revolving blind or door is mounted, of the type comprising an internal disc solidly attached to an outer portion and an inner portion that houses said disc in a rotatable manner, the inner portion having a relative rotational movement with respect to the disc and the outer portion. -
Figure 2 shows an exploded view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention wherein the unlocking mechanism is illustrated comprising the container provided with a window, the fixed cam, the mobile cam and the disc equipped with a tab that protrudes through the window. -
Figure 3A shows a perspective view of the preferred embodiment ofFigure 1 with the unlocking mechanism in a locked position with a portion of the mobile cam fitted into the fixed cam and therefore the pins of the transmission gear wheel housed inside the holes of the disc (not shown). -
Figure 3B shows a perspective view of the preferred embodiment ofFigure 1 with the unlocking mechanism in an unlocked position with the mobile cam moved with respect to the fixed cam and therefore the pins of the transmission gear wheel outside the holes of the disc (not shown). -
Figure 1 shows an example of a wheel (2) for a rolling door or a rolling blind intended to be rolled up on the outer portion (16) of said wheel (2). The wheel (2) comprises an internal disc (15) which comprises through holes (4) and is solidly attached to the outer portion (16). - The wheel further comprises an inner portion (17) that houses said disc (15) in a rotatable manner, the inner portion (17) having a relative rotational movement with respect to the disc (15).
- In the state of the art, wheels (2) of this type are used and a shaft is longitudinally coupled to the disc (15), wherein said shaft is actuated by a motor longitudinally mounted therein. The shaft of the motor rotates the disc (15) which has an internal pinion that in turn meshes with a gear wheel mounted on the inside of the outer portion (16), such that the motor rotates the disc (15) that meshes with the gear wheel that rotates the outer portion (16) and therefore the blind or door rolled up therein. In the devices known in the state of the art, the disc (15) has through holes (15) to lighten the weight.
- Said devices known in the state of the art make excessive noise and, moreover, when they lock it is necessary to overcome the force of the motor and the weight of the door, for which reason even several people are required.
- In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, use is made of the wheel (2) with the disc (15) with through holes (4) with the gears described wherein a pinion moves the internal teeth of a gear wheel mounted on the outer portion (16) of the wheel.
- In this way, existing devices can be used, removing the 220V motor and coupling a mounting kit with a quieter unlocking system such as the one described below.
- A detailed description of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the object of the invention is provided below, with the aid of the attached
Figures 2-3 described above. -
