Der Ring 7 ist dabei zumindest teilweise hinteren Stirnseite der Wand des Gehäuses 1 nach innen hin auskragend ausgeführt, wobei er mit der hinteren Stirnseite des Kontaktträgers 6 überlappt und damit verhindert, dass dieser nach hinten hin aus dem Gehäuse 1 herausgedrückt werden kann. Dazu ist der Ring 7 an zumindest einer Stelle mit dem Gehäuse 1 fest verbunden. Diese Verbindung kann durch Vercrimpen einer zwischen zwei Zapfen 8 des Gehäuses 1 geführten radial nach aussen abstehenden Zunge 71 des Ringes 7 mit diesen Zapfen 8 hergestellt werden. Die vordere Einstecköffnung im Gehäuse 1 hat vorzugsweise an zumindest einer Umfangsposition einen Ausschnitt 21, der sich parallel zur Längsachse A des Gehäuses 1 nach hinten ins Innere des Gehäuses fortsetzt. Auch der Kontaktträger 6 kann an einer korrespondierenden Position eine Ausnehmung 61 aufweisen. Dieser Ausschnitt 21 und die Ausnehmung 61 dienen als Aufnahme für einen Verriegelungsmechanismus 10 bekannter Bauweise, der in Fig. 2 schematisch dargestellt ist.The contact carrier 6, which is preferably inserted into the housing 1, is fixed in the housing 1 by means of a ring 7 on the side of the housing 1 on which the contacts 4, 5 are guided on the outside. The ring 7 is at least partially designed to project inwards from the rear end face of the wall of the housing 1, overlapping the rear end face of the contact carrier 6 and thus preventing the latter from being pushed out of the housing 1 to the rear. For this purpose, the ring 7 is firmly connected to the housing 1 at least at one point. This connection can be made by crimping a tongue 71 of the ring 7, which extends radially outwards between two pins 8 of the housing 1, to these pins 8. The front insertion opening in the housing 1 preferably has a cutout 21 at at least one circumferential position, which continues parallel to the longitudinal axis A of the housing 1 to the rear into the interior of the housing. The contact carrier 6 can also have a recess 61 at a corresponding position. This cutout 21 and the recess 61 serve as a receptacle for a locking mechanism 10 of known design, which in Fig.2 is shown schematically.

Claims (12)

  1. Electrical chassis connector, having a housing (1), having at least one mounting structure (2) projecting transversely to the longitudinal axis of the housing, having a contact carrier (6) made of electrically insulating material which is pushed into the housing (1) parallel to the longitudinal axis (A) of the housing (1), having more than five electrical contacts (4, 5) fixed in the contact carrier (6), wherein the contacts (4, 5) are guided at one end of the housing (1) parallel to the longitudinal axis (A) of the housing (1) out of the contact carrier (6) and the housing (1), wherein the end sections (41, 51) of the sections of the contacts (4, 5) disposed outside the housing (1) are angled with respect to their sections disposed inside the housing (1) and their connection to connecting regions (42, 52) provided with a circuit board terminate in a common plane (E), which plane (E) lies parallel to the longitudinal axis (A) of the housing (1), wherein the connecting regions (42, 52) are arranged in groups and the individual groups lie on at least three parallel straight lines (G) which are part of the common plane (E), wherein the ends of the sections of the contacts (4, 5) which are guided parallel out of the housing (1) have the same spacing in the direction of the longitudinal axis (A) of the housing (1) as the parallel straight lines (G), characterized in that the contact carrier (6) is fixed in the housing on the side of the housing (1) on which the contacts (4, 5) are guided on the outside thereof by means of a ring (7) projecting inwards at least in places from the housing wall and connected to the housing wall at at least one point.
  2. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein eight contacts (5) are provided for data transmission and two contacts (4) for power transmission.
  3. Chassis connector according to claim 2, wherein the contacts (4) for power transmission have a larger diameter than the contacts (5) for data transmission.
  4. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the retaining element (7) and the housing wall are crimped together at at least one point.
  5. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the electrical contacts (4, 5) are designed as contact pins.
  6. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the electrical contacts (4, 5) are designed as at least ring-shaped contact openings.
  7. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the mounting structure (2) is at least one laterally projecting ear with a mounting hole (3).
  8. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the mounting structure (2) is a flange projecting over the entire circumference of the housing (1), in which at least one mounting hole (3) is formed.
  9. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the angled sections (41, 51) extend straight and parallel to each other over a large part of their length.
  10. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the angled sections (41, 51) are separate elements and are directly connected to the sections of the contacts (4, 5) guided to the outside of the housing (1).
  11. Chassis connector according to claim 1, wherein the angled sections (41, 51) are fixed in a common retaining plate (9) shortly before their connecting regions (42, 52).
  12. Chassis connector according to claim 11, wherein the common retaining plate (9) has an extension extending along the housing (1) while resting thereon.
