Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mechanism for a cosmetic product, in particular a lipstick stick, and a receptacle comprising such a mechanism.
  • receptacles comprising a base in which is housed a mechanism containing a product are known.
  • a closure cap hermetically closes the upper opening of the mechanism and provides protection for the product.
  • Such a cosmetic receptacle mechanism is formed by an assembly of parts of revolution in which a main body, commonly called a guide, covers a cup intended to receive a stick of lipstick.
  • the cup is set in motion relative to the guide in order to move the stick inside the body, or to take it out through the opening of the guide to make it accessible to a user who wishes to apply makeup.
  • an outer sleeve made of metallic material is mounted around the guide to which it is firmly fixed.
  • Such mechanisms have a generally large number of parts, generating a large radial thickness between the edge of the grape and the outside of the mechanism.
  • These mechanisms are moreover complex, in particular for the so-called “guided” mechanisms and used for a so-called soft grape formulation.
  • the stick needs to be in direct contact with a part of the mechanism to ensure that it is held in place and relatively smooth to prevent it from being damaged, in particular when it is moved for the application of the cosmetic product.
  • An alternative solution would consist of separating the sleeve and considering two different dies: a die specific to the treatment of the metallic material and a die specific to the treatment of the synthetic material of the rest of the mechanism. Such a solution would be expensive in terms of sorting and would require being able to separate the elements of the mechanism from each other easily.
  • the present invention relates to a mechanism for a cosmetic product according to claim 1.
  • Preferred features of the invention are set out in the dependent claims.
  • the present invention proposes a mechanism for a cosmetic product, in particular a lipstick tube, comprising a cup configured to hold said product, said cup comprising at least one flexible tab, a sheath comprising a helical groove intended to cooperate with said cup to raise or lower the product, a guide arranged around said sheath, said guide comprising at least one vertical slide defining a stroke of displacement of the cup and cooperating with said at least one flexible tab.
  • the sheath, the cup and the guide are made from a type of metallic material.
  • the mechanism is a simplified mechanism with a reduced number of parts.
  • the use of metallic material, in particular in the guided mechanisms improves the cooling of the cosmetic product formulation after its casting as well as its appearance, making it possible in particular to reduce the duration of the manufacturing cycle.
  • the mechanism is mainly metallic with a sheath, a cup and a guide made of metallic material, it can then be treated in a recycling sector dedicated mainly to metal. This makes it possible to reuse a material in greater quantity without additional loss or rejection for an optimized gain. This also makes it possible to clean and reuse the mechanism in whole or in part without damaging it by a high temperature cleaning process.
  • the invention also relates to a receptacle for a cosmetic product, comprising a base, a cover that can be positioned on the base and a mechanism according to any one of claims 1 to 12.
  • said mechanism is configured to be mounted on the base allowing entry and/or exit of the cosmetic product.
  • the “axial” or “longitudinal” direction corresponds to that of the main axis Y shown in the figures and the “radial” direction is orthogonal to the axial direction.
  • the terms “upper” and “lower” or even “top” and “bottom” will be used in a non-limiting manner with reference to the axial direction.
  • the terms “outer or outer” and “inner or inner” are used with reference to the radial direction, an outer member being radially farther from the Y axis than an inner member.
  • FIGS. 1a to 1c show an example of a cosmetic product mechanism 11.

  • the mechanism comprises at least one identification pattern configured to cooperate with an identification means of the base so as to authorize the assembly of the mechanism on the base and allow entry and/or exit of the cosmetic product.
  • the mechanism for entering and/or exiting the cosmetic product can only be activated if the refill is correctly associated in the base, this being possible only if the identification pattern of the mechanism corresponds to the identification means of the base. • the grape undergoes a shrinkage of material during cooling and then takes its final shape.
  • the grape as illustrated in the figure 9b , comprises an upper portion 710 intended to be consumed during application by the user, a lower portion 720 remaining permanently inside the mechanism and allowing the grapes to be supported.
  • Said grape also comprises an intermediate portion 715 fixed by the fixing means 215b on the cup, said intermediate portion connecting said lower portion 720 and said upper portion 710.
  • the internal wall of the head 318 of the guide 316 has a smooth contact surface.
  • smooth contact surface means a surface having no holes, nor locally any concave or convex parts which could damage the stick, in particular during its formation and/or its vertical displacement in the mechanism. Therefore, the upper portion 710 of the grape does not interfere with the head 318 of the guide 316.
  • an interface tube 750 is arranged inside the sheath 434.
  • the interface tube 750 includes a hollow cylindrical body 760 and an inner wall 770 with a smooth contact surface.
  • said interface tube is arranged inside the sheath, as illustrated in the figure 9a and 9b , said interface tube being secured to the cup and capable of interfacing between said sheath and the stick, during the vertical displacement of said cup. Consequently, during its formation, the lower portion of the stick bears against the internal wall 770 of the interface tube 750 and is not in direct contact with the internal wall 490 of the sheath 434. Thus, the lower portion 720 of the grape, does not interfere with the other parts of the mechanism during the axial displacement of the cup 212. Said interface tube 750 is wedged in abutment respectively between the fixing lugs 215c and the upper edge of the interface part 551b .
  • the interface tube 750 is made of metallic material so that the receptacle can be easily recycled in the dedicated sector.
  • the type of metallic material is chosen from aluminum, aluminum alloys and/or steel.
  • the material is anodized aluminum.
  • interface tube 750 can be made of any synthetic material or made of paper.
  • thermoplastic elastomer TPE
  • low density polyethylene LDPE
  • synthetic polymer polypropylene
  • PE polyethylene
  • composite material polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
  • PCR post-consumer recycled
  • HDPE high density polyethylene
  • the synthetic material can be chosen from fluoroelastomer materials (FKM) resistant to the high temperature cleaning process above 150°C.
  • At least one elastic ring 610 is inserted between the cup and the guide, said elastic ring being able to control the operating torque between the guide and the cup.
  • an elastic ring 610 is partially housed in at least the internal groove 216 of the side wall 211 of the cup 212.
  • the same internal groove 216 makes it possible, on the one hand, to hold the stick on its internal part 217 and, on the other hand, to hold an elastic ring on its external part 218, making it possible to control the operating torque.
  • This elastic ring in contact with the internal wall of the head 318 of the guide 316 as illustrated in the figure 3c , makes it possible to control the relative displacement of the cup 212 with respect to the guide 316. in other words, during the movement of the cup 212, the contact zone between the elastic ring 610 and the internal wall of the head 318 of the guide 316 allows precise control of the friction force.
  • this elastic ring makes it possible to prevent the amount of movement of the stick of lipstick from being too great in relation to the wishes of the user.
  • This elastic ring also makes it possible to avoid sound problems which may be unpleasant for the user, due to friction between aluminum parts, namely in particular the guide and the cup.
  • the elastic ring 610 is a joint which can be made of any synthetic material, for example rubber, or be made of other suitable elastomeric materials such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE).
  • PP polypropylene
  • PE polyethylene
  • FKM temperature-resistant fluoroelastomer materials
