Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of flexible tubes comprising a cap sealing the neck prior to the first use of the tube, and a perforating plug suitable for drilling the cap.
  • Tubes provided with a cover associated with a perforating plug comprising a punch adapted to perforate said cover are known.
  • the cap in fact makes it possible to preserve the product contained in the tube in a hermetic manner during its storage prior to its first use, which represents a very significant part of the overall life of the tube.
  • plugs in which the punch is arranged in the plug and protrudes from the latter so as to be able to perforate the cap when the plug is screwed onto the tube head.
  • a ring is placed between the cap and the shoulder of the tube head, so as to keep the punch away from the lid when the cap is screwed on on the neck.
  • the user To pierce and/or cut the cap, the user must first unscrew the cap, then remove the ring and finally screw the cap back on until the cap is pierced and/or cut.
  • the number of steps is restrictive for the user who often does not understand what the ring is for and does not necessarily understand either that a cover must be pierced before using the tube for the first time.
  • Such an assembly allows the stopper to be held in the waiting position without having to use an additional part other than the neck and the stopper.
  • the free end of the punch protruding from the stopper is kept away from the cap closing the neck and the cap is thus preserved from any perforation or cutting prior to the first use of the tube by a user in a simple and reliable manner. without complicating the closing assembly.
  • such an assembly makes it possible to refrain from using the spacer ring generally used in such a system to keep the punch away from the lid.
  • cap is understood to mean an object allowing the sealing of a receptacle, in particular of an outlet opening for a product, in a reversible manner.
  • a plug according to the invention can thus pass from an open position to a closed position. closing and vice versa, mainly by a screwing or equivalent movement.
  • the present invention does not include closure assemblies, such as a hinged service cap, permanently fixed to the opening and comprising a passage orifice for the exit of the product and a folding cap making it possible to close said orifice.
  • the invention also relates to a tube comprising an assembly as described above.
  • the tube head 5 a variant of which is presented on the figure 1 and 3 to 8 , comprises the neck 7 defining a longitudinal axis ZZ, a shoulder 11 and a solid insert 13 forming a cap 15 closing said neck 7, in the lower part of the latter.
  • said neck 7 and said shoulder 11 are designed in one piece and are in continuity of manner.
  • the insert 13 is located against an underside of the shoulder 11, intended to be oriented towards the inside of the tube.
  • Said neck 7 is, here, in the shape of a cylinder extending from an upper end located towards the outside of said tube 3 towards a lower end opposite the upper end and directed towards the inside of said tube 3.
  • Said upper end has an outlet orifice 7a allowing the outlet of said product contained in the tube.
  • the lower end is adjacent to said shoulder 11.
  • Said shoulder 11 extends from the lower end of said neck towards an outer periphery, here cylindrical, in a direction essentially perpendicular to the axis ZZ, that is to say the part of the tube head going in s' flaring from said neck 7.
  • Said shoulder 11 is configured so that a tube skirt can be fixed, in particular at its periphery, to form said tube 3.
  • the insert 13 comprises a peripheral section, typically of frustoconical or disc shape, and a central section forming said cover 15, the diameter of which typically corresponds to the internal diameter of the neck 7.
  • the stopper 9, an example of which is illustrated in figure 2 comprises a punch 17 projecting from said plug 9.
  • Said punch 17 is in particular made from the material of said plug 9.
  • Said punch 17 is configured so as to be inserted inside the neck 7 of the tube head 5 when the plug 9 is fixed to said neck 7.
  • a longitudinal direction of the cap 9 is defined, corresponding to the longitudinal axis ZZ of the neck 7 when the cap 9 is fixed to the neck 7.
  • Said punch 17 allows the cutting and/or perforation of the lid 15.
  • the cut is advantageously partial, so that the portion(s) of the lid 15 that have been cut out remain linked to the rest of the insert, preventing thus any mixing of the material forming the insert with a product contained in the associated tube 3, and any distribution of this material to the user.
  • said punch 17 has a cylindrical section of revolution, one free end of which is advantageously provided with cutting means so that when the stopper 9 is fixed, for example screwed, on the neck 7 of the tube head 5, the free end of the punch 17 is inserted into the neck 7.
  • Said cutting means can be a bevel shape of the free end, teeth and/or cutting notches, for example, regularly distributed around the periphery of the free end of punch 17.
  • the example of punch 17 shown in figure 2 and 4 to 8 is a punch 17 of cylindrical section of revolution, the free end of which is provided with three teeth 19 of low height and regularly distributed around the periphery of its free end.
  • said neck 7 and said stopper 9 are configured to make it possible to maintain said stopper 9 fixed to said neck 7 in a first position, called the waiting position ( figures 3 to 5 and 14a, 14b ), in which the punch 17 is kept at a distance from the cover 15 and in a second position, called the use position ( figure 8 and 15a, 15b ), in which said punch 17 pierces said lid 15.
  • Said neck 7 and said stopper 9 can also be configured to make it possible to maintain said stopper 9 in a third position, called the closed position ( figure 7 and 16a, 16b ), wherein said neck 7 and said stopper 9 seal said tube 3.
  • said cap 9 is configured to pass from the standby position to the use position and/or from the use position to the closed position by at least one rotational movement.
  • said rotational movement can also be accompanied simultaneously by an axial movement along the Z-Z axis. It is then a helical movement.
  • the axial movement is performed after the rotational movement.
  • said cap 9 is configured to pass from the standby position to the use position and/or from the use position to the closed position essentially by a movement always going in the same direction, in other words the direction of rotation is always the same.
  • the passage of said stopper 9 from the standby position to the use position and/or from the use position to the closed position is reversible. It is thus possible to open said tube and then to close it after use, and vice versa.
  • said neck 7 comprises at least one first blocking means configured to cooperate with said stopper 9 to hold said stopper 9 in the waiting position.
  • said neck 7 and said stopper 9 each comprise at least one locking means cooperating together to maintain said stopper 9 in the waiting position.
  • said first blocking means(s) are a ring 25 located on an outer surface of said neck 7 and said second blocking means(s) are protrusions 27a, 27b located on an inner surface of said stopper 9.
  • said stopper 9 is thus held in the standby position by snapping said stopper 9 onto said neck 7, in particular by snapping ring 25 with said protrusions 27a, 27b.
  • said protrusions 27a, 27b are regularly distributed around the periphery of said stopper 9, in particular on the lower part of said stopper 9.
  • the protrusions 27a, 27b are distributed over two rows, separated axially, and are angularly offset between the two rows so that the ring 25 is located between said protrusions 27a, 27b, in the waiting position of the stopper 9.
  • each row comprises at least two protrusions 27a, 27b, or even at least three, or even at least four.
  • each of the rows comprises four protuberances 27a, 27b.
  • the lower row of protrusions 27a makes it possible to maintain said stopper 9 fixed to said neck 7 and to avoid unwanted removal of said stopper 9.
  • the upper row of protrusions 27b makes it possible to limit the movement of said stopper 9 downwards when the latter is fixed on the neck 7 and thus to keep the punch 17 away from the cover 15 and to avoid perforation and/or cutting of the latter without the intervention of the user before the first use.
  • the ring 25 is made from the material of said neck 7 and goes all the way around said neck 7.
  • Said ring 25 comprises a lower surface 25a directed towards the shoulder 11 of the tube head 5 and an upper surface 25b directed towards the outlet orifice 7a of said neck 7.
  • Said lower 25a and upper 25b surfaces are substantially planar and their radial extension allows ring 25 to be snapped between said protrusions 27a, 27b.
  • the ring 25 comprises in particular a thinned end to facilitate its snap-fastening between the protrusions 27a, 27b and its disengagement therefrom so that the user easily passes from the standby position to the use position then from the position of use upon removal of the stopper 9.
  • the protrusions 27a, 27b may also have a thinned end, as can be seen here. More specifically, here said ring 25 has a cross section of trapezoidal or triangular shape with a rounded top and/or said protrusions 27a, 27b have a rounded cross section.
  • said neck 7 and said stopper 9 each comprise a thread, said first thread 29 and second thread 31 cooperating together to allow passage of said stopper 9 from the standby position to the use position by screwing by the user of said stopper 9 on the neck 7.
  • said rotational movement and said axial movement described above are simultaneous and causes said screwing, according to a helical movement.
  • Said stopper 9 is then fixed by screwing to said neck 7, while in the standby position, preferably, said threads 29 and 31 are not engaged.
  • Said first thread 29 is located on the outer surface of said neck 7 in a part of the latter higher than ring 25.
  • Said second thread 31 is located on the internal surface of said plug 9 in a part of the latter higher than said protrusions 27a, 27b, here at the bottom of said plug 9.
  • Said neck 7 further comprises on its outer surface a smooth zone, called first smooth zone 33.
  • smooth zone is meant a non-threaded zone.
  • Said first smooth zone 33 extends over a part lower than said first thread 29 and lower than said ring 25.
  • said first smooth zone 33 extends from the lower surface 25a of said ring 25 towards the shoulder 11 of the head of the tube 5. Ring 25 is thus axially located in a middle part of said neck 7 between said first thread 29 and said first smooth zone 33.
  • Said stopper 9 also comprises on its internal surface a smooth zone, called second smooth zone 35.
  • smooth zone is meant a non-threaded zone.
  • Said second smooth zone 35 is located on a part lower than said second thread 31 and higher than the protrusions 27a, 27b, that is to say between the protrusions 27a, 27b and the second thread 31.
  • the second smooth zone 35 extends from the bottom of the second thread 31 to the upper row of protrusions 27b.
  • the internal diameter of said stopper 9 at the level of the second smooth zone 35 is greater than the diameter of said neck 7 measured at the top of the threads of said first thread 29.
  • Said stopper 9 further comprises an outer surface of which a lower part is smooth 21 and the other upper part is ribbed 23.
  • the ribbed part 23 corresponds in particular to a gripping zone for the user and facilitates handling. of the stopper 9 and the opening/closing of said tube 3.
  • said stopper 9 is fixed on said neck 7.
  • said ring 25 is snapped onto the lower row of protrusions 27a and stopper 9 is held in the waiting position ( figures 3 to 5 ).
  • the punch 17 is located at a non-zero distance from said cover 15 to protect it from cutting and/or perforation.
  • this maintenance in the waiting position is ensured by the upper row of protrusions 27b as mentioned above, on which the ring 25 comes into abutment if one involuntarily tries to push the plug 9 ( figure 5 ).
  • the position of the upper row of protrusions 27b is calculated so that the punch 17 is kept sufficiently far from said cap 15 in the waiting position of said stopper 9.
  • the lower row of protrusions 27a on which the ring 25 comes into abutment if one involuntarily tries to remove the plug 9 ( figure 4 ), makes it possible to avoid unwanted removal of said plug 9.
  • said first thread 29 is located opposite the second smooth zone 35 of said plug 9, as is visible in the figures 3 to 5 .
  • the first and second threads (29, 31) do not cooperate yet and the screwing of the stopper 9 on the neck 7 has not yet started.
  • said cap 9 is pressed onto said neck 7 by the user along the axis ZZ so that said ring 25 goes beyond the upper row of protrusions 27b to reach an intermediate position ( figure 6 ).
