Definitions
- the present invention relates to a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner for vacuuming a surface, which has a bottom with a suction opening that is delimited by edges.
- a suction flow is generated with which dirt particles are sucked away from a surface in order to clean the surface.
- generic vacuum cleaners have a floor nozzle, which sucks dirt particles from the surface via a suction opening formed in an underside facing the surface.
- edges of the floor nozzle which delimit the suction opening on the underside, are usually designed to be as flat and even as possible in order to achieve such sealing and thus increase the suction power .
- the disadvantage is that the edges produce a high mechanical resistance through interaction with fibers of the surface, so that a thrust force for moving the floor nozzle along an intended direction of movement is increased.
- a floor nozzle which has a comb on the underside that projects outwards towards the surface to be vacuumed.
- the comb serves the purpose of dividing a carpet to be vacuumed into corresponding sections in order to suck in air through these sections.
- this also leads to an increase in the thrust force required to move the floor nozzle.
- a floor nozzle which has, on a front edge in the direction of movement and delimiting the suction opening, channels which are spaced apart and separate from one another in a transverse direction running transversely to the direction of movement and which open into the suction opening.
- the channels serve the purpose of generating turbulence in the area of the suction opening in order to improve the suction performance.
- a roller with bristles protruding from the suction opening is also arranged in the floor nozzle, which rotates when the floor nozzle moves.
- a floor nozzle which has a flat underside in which a suction opening is formed for sucking up dirt.
- a front edge in the direction of movement and a rear edge opposite the front edge in the direction of movement delimit the suction opening.
- the suction opening has a plurality of circular chambers that merge into one another in a transverse direction running transversely to the direction of movement, so that the front edge and the rear edge have teeth directed in the direction of movement towards the suction opening and tooth gaps arranged between the teeth in the transverse direction.
- channels running alternately from the front edge and from the rear edge obliquely to the direction of movement are also provided, which each lead from one end face of the floor nozzle to the associated chamber.
- a floor nozzle is known with a bottom that has a suction opening.
- the suction opening is limited by a front edge and a rear edge.
- the edges can each have dirt-trapping elements which taper away from the suction opening and thus have hollow areas for collecting dirt particles.
- the dirt trapping elements are separated from one another by a distance or a recess transversely to a direction of movement of the floor nozzle, so that openings opening into the suction opening are formed between the dirt trapping elements.
- a floor nozzle with a suction opening is known.
- the suction opening is delimited by vortex formers, which have protruding flanks towards the surface to be vacuumed.
- the flanks of the respective vortex generator run from the Suction opening points towards a point and thus each forms a tooth gap pointing away from the suction opening.
- the present invention is concerned with the task of providing an improved or at least different embodiment for a floor nozzle of the type mentioned, which is characterized in particular by increased comfort for a user and at the same time better cleaning effect.
- the present invention is based on the general idea of designing a suction opening on an underside of a floor nozzle in a serrated edge that delimits a direction of movement of the floor nozzle, so that the edge has teeth directed towards the suction opening in the direction of movement of the floor nozzle and tooth gaps directed away from the suction opening.
- the tooth gaps are arranged so that they protrude in the direction of a surface to be vacuumed so that the tooth gaps form the areas of the underside that protrude maximally towards the surface. This means that when the floor nozzle is resting on a flat and level surface, the tooth gaps are in contact with the surface, whereas other areas of the underside, in particular the teeth, are spaced from the surface.
- the protruding teeth also mean that there is no straight contact of the edge with fibers of the surface and that the fibers can be moved in the plane of the underside due to the protruding shape of the teeth. This also leads to a reduction in the mechanical resistance caused when moving in the direction of movement and consequently to a reduction in the required thrust force.
- the arrangement of the tooth gaps means that the teeth are further spaced from the ground. Consequently, in the direction of movement between the tooth gaps and the teeth there is a gradient leading to the suction opening, which leads to an improved suction effect and to an improved absorption of dirt particles with increased dimensions, in particular coarse dirt.
- the arrangement of the teeth in the direction of movement towards the suction opening means that the teeth generate turbulence during operation when sucking in the air, which leads to an improved suction effect and consequently the cleaning effect.
- the gradient also means that when moving in the direction of movement, the fibers also move in height, so that the fibers are moved overall in all three directions and can therefore be suctioned off better.
- the course of the edge containing the teeth and tooth gaps leads to an increase in the overall length of the edge.
- the floor nozzle has the underside, which can also be referred to as the nozzle sole.
- the underside faces the surface to be vacuumed.
- the suction opening is formed in the underside and is used to suck in dirt during operation.
- the suction opening is delimited on the underside by a front edge and a rear edge opposite the front edge in the direction of movement.
- At least one of the edges has teeth directed parallel to the direction of movement towards the suction opening and tooth gaps directed away from the suction opening. In a transverse direction running transversely to the direction of movement, tooth gaps and teeth follow one another.
- At least one of the at least one tooth gaps preferably the respective tooth gap
- at least one of the edges is arranged in a height direction running transversely to the direction of movement and transversely to the transverse direction in a contact plane that projects maximally towards the ground. So it falls associated edge in the height direction towards the teeth, so that the at least one tooth gap rests on the surface when the floor nozzle is placed on a flat surface and the teeth are spaced from the surface.
- the teeth and tooth gaps that follow one another in the transverse direction expediently merge into one another via the flanks of the associated edge.
- the teeth and the tooth gaps are therefore expediently components of the flanks.
- flanks advantageously merge into one another without interruption. This means in particular that the edge is free of recesses, openings and the like. In this way, the area engaging in the fibers of a carpet or carpet to be cleaned is enlarged. This results in improved cleaning performance.
- At least one of the flanks particularly preferably the respective flank, forms an angle of less than 90° with the direction of movement.
- the respective flank therefore preferably runs obliquely to the direction of movement.
- the angle is advantageously less than 80°, particularly preferably less than 60°, for example 45°.
- teeth and tooth gaps are arranged alternately in the transverse direction.
- teeth separate successive tooth gaps from each other in the transverse direction and vice versa.
- the teeth and tooth gaps of the respective edge can be uniform and distributed.
- the teeth and tooth gaps of the respective edge can each have the same design and be arranged equidistant from one another.
- An uneven and/or irregular formation and/or arrangement of the teeth and tooth gaps is also conceivable.
- parallel to the direction of movement means offset both in the direction of movement and parallel to the direction of movement.
- a gap base of the at least one tooth gap is arranged in the contact plane and the tooth gap is otherwise spaced from the contact plane.
- the base of the gap is the outer area of the tooth gap parallel to the direction of movement.
- the tip of the tooth is the outer area of the tooth parallel to the direction of movement.
- the respective tooth tip thus leads to a pronounced and advantageous generation of turbulence when the air is sucked into the suction opening and thus to an improved cleaning effect.
- fibers of a carpet or carpet can be moved and displaced with reduced mechanical resistance. As a result, the thrust force required to move the floor nozzle along a carpet or carpet is reduced with an improved cleaning effect.
- the serrated edge may have a wavy or jagged shape.
- a wavy shape the tips of the teeth and the bases of the gaps are curved. This means that fibers of a carpet or carpet are moved and displaced with reduced mechanical resistance. As a result, the thrust force required to move the floor nozzle along a carpet or carpet is reduced.
- the tips of the teeth and the bases of the gaps are pointed or at least have a less pronounced curvature than with the wavy shape.
- the respective edge can be partially wavy and partially jagged.
- the floor nozzle is designed to move in the direction of movement.
- the floor nozzle can have at least one roller that can be rolled in the direction of movement.
- a floor unit of the associated vacuum cleaner, of which the floor nozzle is a component can have at least one such roller.
- the underside of the floor nozzle can have a width running in the transverse direction that is greater than a length of the underside in the direction of movement. For example, the width is at least twice as large as the length.
- the floor nozzle can have a tubular body spaced apart from the suction opening in the height direction, via which the floor nozzle can be connected or detachably connected to a suction unit of an associated vacuum cleaner.
- the tubular body therefore serves as a suction channel.
- the suction opening can be fluidically connected via an internal volume of the floor nozzle or directly to the tubular body.
- the floor nozzle and / or the associated floor unit can have at least one joint, advantageously two joints, which, in particular when a force is applied to the tubular body to move the floor nozzle, provide an improved and / or simplified and / or directed movement in the direction of movement.
- Preferred embodiments provide that at least one of the teeth, advantageously the respective tooth, projects into the suction opening in the direction of movement. This leads to a reduction in the required installation space and thus a reduction in the size of the floor nozzle in the direction of movement while at the same time generating turbulence as described above and contact with and displacement of fibers from carpets or carpets.
- At least two of the tooth gaps of at least one of the edges are arranged in the contact plane.
- a depression penetrating into the underside in the height direction is formed between the tooth gaps adjacent in the transverse direction.
- the depression means that the tooth gaps that are adjacent to one another in the transverse direction are separated from one another in the contact plane.
- an associated recess is formed between two tooth gaps that follow one another in the transverse direction. This means that tooth gaps and depressions follow one another in the transverse direction.
- Embodiments in which at least one of the at least one depressions opens into an associated tooth which is arranged between those tooth gaps between which the depression is arranged have proven to be advantageous.
- This means that the depression is connected to the sow opening via the associated tooth.
- the depression preferably extends into the associated tooth.
- the tooth is particularly advantageous as part of the associated recess.
- the depression is thus designed as a channel for fluidic connection with the associated tooth and thus with the suction opening. This leads to an improved suction effect and to a simplified and improved suction of larger dirt particles, especially coarse dirt.
- Embodiments in which the respective recess opens into an associated one of the teeth are particularly advantageous.
- the underside thus has successive depressions in the transverse direction as channels, each of which penetrates into the underside in the height direction.
- the respective depression can run in any direction with regard to the direction of movement.
- Embodiments are preferred in which at least one of the at least one depressions, advantageously the respective depression, runs parallel to the direction of movement.
- the proportion of depressions running parallel to the direction of movement is therefore minimized or at least reduced. This leads to a reduction in the mechanical resistance caused by the recesses when moving the floor nozzle in the direction of movement. As a result, the required thrust is reduced.
- the distance between an end of the recess remote from the suction opening and the suction opening is reduced. Consequently, dirt particles, especially coarse dirt, can be sucked in better in this way.
- At least one of the depressions slopes away from the associated tooth in the height direction parallel to the direction of movement.
- the end of the depression that is remote from the associated tooth is the area of the depression that is mostly distant from the contact surface in the height direction.
- the depression falls evenly. This means that dirt particles of larger size, in particular coarse dirt, can easily reach the recess from the end of the recess remote from the associated tooth and be sucked into the suction opening in a targeted manner via the recess.
- the underside runs obliquely away from the ground on the side of the tooth gaps facing away from at least one of the edges in the direction of movement.
- the suction opening is arranged in a suction section of the underside, with an outer section of the underside being arranged adjacent to the suction section in the direction of movement, which runs obliquely relative to the suction section and, starting from the suction section, leads away from the ground in the direction of the cave.
- dirt particles especially coarse dirt, can reach the suction opening more easily via the outer section. This results in an improved cleaning effect.
- At least one of the tooth gaps opens into an associated pocket on the side facing away from the ground, the pocket in Height direction is open to the outside and closed to the inside.
- the respective tooth gap preferably opens into such an associated pocket.
- the pocket is expediently open on the side facing the suction opening in the direction of movement towards the inner volume or the tubular body. The respective bag creates turbulence when air is sucked in, which leads to an improved cleaning effect.
- the respective pocket is expediently formed in an inner wall of the floor nozzle which runs in the vertical and transverse directions and which delimits the inner volume or the tubular body and adjoins the associated edge.
- successive pockets in the transverse direction can be separated from one another by closed and/or flat separating sections of the inner wall.
- An associated tooth tip preferably projects parallel to the direction of movement and in the height direction above an associated separating section, that is to say on the side of the separating section facing away from the ground.
- An associated tooth tip advantageously protrudes from the respective separating section.
- At least one of the at least one depressions extends from the associated tooth to an end face of the floor nozzle, which is arranged on the side of the depression facing away from the suction opening.
- the end of the recess remote from the suction opening can open into the associated end face or be formed therein.
- a thread lifter is arranged on the side facing away from the suction opening at least one of the edges.
- the thread lifter is designed in such a way that when the floor nozzle is moved in the direction of movement, it slides along fibers leads to a lifting of the fibers.
- the thread lifter expediently runs in strips in the transverse direction. This results in an improved cleaning effect.
- a thread lifter is arranged in at least two recesses that follow one another in the transverse direction. i.e. in particular, that the thread lifter runs in a wave shape following the course of the successive depressions.
- the thread lifter engages the fibers at different heights, so that these fibers are raised or lowered at different heights. Accordingly, the air sucked in can flow better through the fibers and can therefore be cleaned better. This therefore leads to an improved cleaning effect.
- both the front edge and the rear edge can have teeth and tooth gaps of the type described. It is also conceivable that only one of the edges is designed in this way.
- the rear edge can run straight in the transverse direction.
- the front edge is in particular the edge that is arranged in front of the rear edge in a given direction of movement.
- the front edge is the edge further away from the tubular body of the floor nozzle in the direction of movement.
- At least one of the teeth and/or one of the tooth gaps preferably the respective tooth and/or the respective tooth gap, has a rounded shape, and the edge is in particular wave-shaped. This leads to a reduction in the resistance caused by contact with the fibers and thus a reduction in the thrust force required. Furthermore, damage to the fibers is prevented or at least reduced in this way.
- the floor nozzle can be permanently attached to a vacuum cleaner. It is also conceivable that the floor nozzle is detachably attached or attachable to the associated vacuum cleaner. Likewise, the floor nozzle can be part of a floor unit that is connected or connectable to the associated vacuum cleaner.
- the floor nozzle is advantageously a static floor nozzle. i.e. in particular that the floor nozzle is free of turbo nozzles and/or electrically driven nozzles. Consequently, the floor nozzle can be manufactured easily and cost-effectively with reduced thrust force required and improved cleaning effect.
- this is a static floor nozzle 1, which does not have a turbo nozzle, an electrically driven nozzle and the like.
- the floor nozzles 1 shown also do not have any rollers that are provided with bristles and rotate during operation.
- the floor nozzle 1 is used to vacuum a surface 4 that is in the Figures 3 and 5 as well as 9 is indicated.

- the suction opening 7 extends elongated in a transverse direction 8 running transversely to the direction of movement 5.
- the suction opening 7 is limited in the direction of movement 5 by a front edge 9 and a rear edge 10.
- the suction opening 7 opens into a tubular body 13 in a vertical direction 11 running transversely to the direction of movement 5 and transversely to the transverse direction 8 and on the side facing away from the substrate 4 via an internal volume 12.

- At least one of the edges 9, 10 has teeth 14 directed parallel to the direction of movement 5 towards the suction opening 7 and tooth gaps 15 directed away from the suction opening 7 parallel to the direction of movement 5.
- the teeth 14 and the tooth gaps 15 of the respective edge 9, 10 follow one another alternately in the transverse direction 8.
- a tooth gap 15 is therefore arranged between two teeth 14 adjacent in the transverse direction 8 and a tooth 14 is arranged between two tooth gaps 15 adjacent in the transverse direction 8.
- the respective tooth gap 15 has a gap base 16, which is the outer region of the associated tooth gap 15 parallel to the direction of movement 5.
- the respective tooth 14 has a tooth tip 17, which is the outer region of the associated tooth parallel to the direction of movement 5.
- the teeth 14 and the tooth gaps 15 merge into one another via flanks 18 of the associated edge 9, 10.
- flanks 18 of the exemplary embodiments shown merge into one another without interruption.
- the flanks 18 are inclined to the direction of movement 5.
- the respective flank 18 forms an angle with the direction of movement 5 that is less than 90°.

- At least one of the at least one tooth gaps 15, in the exemplary embodiments shown the respective tooth gap 15, in particular the respective gap base 16, projects in the height direction 11 towards the subsurface 4 and is arranged in a contact plane 19 which projects maximally towards the subsurface 4, which is in the Figures 3 and 5 is indicated.
- the contact plane 19 is the plane which, when the floor nozzle 1 is in use, rests on a flat and level surface 4, such as that in Figures 3 and 5 is indicated, rests on the surface 4.
- the tooth gaps 15 lie on the flat surface 4.
- the teeth 14 are spaced apart from the contact plane 19 in the height direction 11. Consequently, the teeth 14 are spaced apart from the flat surface 4 in the height direction 11.
- the gradient means that dirt particles, in particular coarse dirt, can easily reach the suction opening 7 during operation and thus when a suction flow is present and can therefore be sucked off in an improved manner.
- the suction opening 7 is arranged in a suction section 22 of the underside 6.
- the suction section 22 is arranged between two outer sections 23 of the underside 6 in the direction of movement.
- the outer sections 23 run obliquely starting from the suction section 22, in particular starting from the edges 9, 10, and leading away from the substrate 4, in particular from the contact plane 19. This results in a gradient directed away from the suction opening 7 in the respective outer section 23.

- the respective recess 24 runs from the associated tooth 14 to an end face 25 of the floor nozzle 1 facing away from the suction opening 7 in the direction of movement 5.
- the respective recess 24 falls into this Direction of movement 5 away from the associated tooth 14 in the height direction 11. In the examples shown, this is achieved by the corresponding course of the outer sections 23.
- the respective depression 24 has a funnel-shaped course in the transverse direction 8 due to the course of the associated edge 9, 10 in the area of the associated tooth 14.
- the respective depression 24 thus forms a channel 26 which leads from the associated end face 25 to the associated tooth 14 and thus into the suction opening 7.
- the depressions 24 thus allow a simplified supply of dirt particles, in particular coarse dirt, into the suction opening 7.
- the respective tooth gap 15, in particular the respective gap base 16 opens into an associated pocket 27, which is open outwards in the height direction 11 and towards the inner volume 12 in the direction of movement 5.
- the respective pocket 27 as in Figure 9 Illustrated with arrows indicating the suction flow, turbulence is generated when air is sucked in, which improves the cleaning effect.
- the turbulence generated by the pockets 27 essentially runs around a turbulence axis 28 that runs parallel to the direction of movement 5.

Description
The present invention relates to a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner for vacuuming a surface, which has a bottom with a suction opening that is delimited by edges.
When a vacuum cleaner is in operation, a suction flow is generated with which dirt particles are sucked away from a surface in order to clean the surface. For this purpose, generic vacuum cleaners have a floor nozzle, which sucks dirt particles from the surface via a suction opening formed in an underside facing the surface.
The underside of such floor nozzles is usually flat and even. Since the suction power increases with increasing sealing of the suction opening on the surface and thus cleaning performance is improved, edges of the floor nozzle, which delimit the suction opening on the underside, are usually designed to be as flat and even as possible in order to achieve such sealing and thus increase the suction power . When vacuuming carpets or carpets as a surface, the disadvantage is that the edges produce a high mechanical resistance through interaction with fibers of the surface, so that a thrust force for moving the floor nozzle along an intended direction of movement is increased. When the floor nozzle is moved manually by a user, this leads to increased effort required and consequently to reduced comfort for the user.

The present invention is concerned with the task of providing an improved or at least different embodiment for a floor nozzle of the type mentioned, which is characterized in particular by increased comfort for a user and at the same time better cleaning effect.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the subject matter of
The present invention is based on the general idea of designing a suction opening on an underside of a floor nozzle in a serrated edge that delimits a direction of movement of the floor nozzle, so that the edge has teeth directed towards the suction opening in the direction of movement of the floor nozzle and tooth gaps directed away from the suction opening. The tooth gaps are arranged so that they protrude in the direction of a surface to be vacuumed so that the tooth gaps form the areas of the underside that protrude maximally towards the surface. This means that when the floor nozzle is resting on a flat and level surface, the tooth gaps are in contact with the surface, whereas other areas of the underside, in particular the teeth, are spaced from the surface. This results in a reduced contact area of the underside of the floor nozzle with the ground, so that the entire contact area of the floor nozzle with the ground is reduced. This leads to a reduced effort required and thus to a reduction in the thrust force required when moving the floor nozzle along the direction of movement. If the floor nozzle is moved along a carpet or a carpet, the protruding teeth also mean that there is no straight contact of the edge with fibers of the surface and that the fibers can be moved in the plane of the underside due to the protruding shape of the teeth. This also leads to a reduction in the mechanical resistance caused when moving in the direction of movement and consequently to a reduction in the required thrust force. As a result, the comfort for a user of the floor nozzle is increased and the energy required to move the floor nozzle is reduced. Furthermore, the arrangement of the tooth gaps means that the teeth are further spaced from the ground. Consequently, in the direction of movement between the tooth gaps and the teeth there is a gradient leading to the suction opening, which leads to an improved suction effect and to an improved absorption of dirt particles with increased dimensions, in particular coarse dirt. The arrangement of the teeth in the direction of movement towards the suction opening means that the teeth generate turbulence during operation when sucking in the air, which leads to an improved suction effect and consequently the cleaning effect. The gradient also means that when moving in the direction of movement, the fibers also move in height, so that the fibers are moved overall in all three directions and can therefore be suctioned off better. In addition, the course of the edge containing the teeth and tooth gaps leads to an increase in the overall length of the edge. Thus, when vacuuming a carpet or a carpet, the total contact area with fibers of the substrate increases and consequently an increase in the number of fibers moved through the edge. Overall, an improved cleaning effect is achieved with a reduced thrust force required.
According to the idea of the invention, the floor nozzle has the underside, which can also be referred to as the nozzle sole. During operation, the underside faces the surface to be vacuumed. The suction opening is formed in the underside and is used to suck in dirt during operation. In the intended direction of movement, the suction opening is delimited on the underside by a front edge and a rear edge opposite the front edge in the direction of movement. At least one of the edges has teeth directed parallel to the direction of movement towards the suction opening and tooth gaps directed away from the suction opening. In a transverse direction running transversely to the direction of movement, tooth gaps and teeth follow one another. According to the invention, at least one of the at least one tooth gaps, preferably the respective tooth gap, at least one of the edges is arranged in a height direction running transversely to the direction of movement and transversely to the transverse direction in a contact plane that projects maximally towards the ground. So it falls associated edge in the height direction towards the teeth, so that the at least one tooth gap rests on the surface when the floor nozzle is placed on a flat surface and the teeth are spaced from the surface.
The teeth and tooth gaps that follow one another in the transverse direction expediently merge into one another via the flanks of the associated edge. The teeth and the tooth gaps are therefore expediently components of the flanks.
The flanks advantageously merge into one another without interruption. This means in particular that the edge is free of recesses, openings and the like. In this way, the area engaging in the fibers of a carpet or carpet to be cleaned is enlarged. This results in improved cleaning performance.
It is preferred if at least one of the flanks, particularly preferably the respective flank, forms an angle of less than 90° with the direction of movement. The respective flank therefore preferably runs obliquely to the direction of movement. When moving the floor nozzle over fibers, this leads to a reduction in the mechanical resistance generated when moving in the direction of movement and thus to a reduction in the thrust force required.
The angle is advantageously less than 80°, particularly preferably less than 60°, for example 45°.
It is preferred if teeth and tooth gaps are arranged alternately in the transverse direction. In particular, teeth separate successive tooth gaps from each other in the transverse direction and vice versa.
The teeth and tooth gaps of the respective edge can be uniform and distributed. In particular, the teeth and tooth gaps of the respective edge can each have the same design and be arranged equidistant from one another. An uneven and/or irregular formation and/or arrangement of the teeth and tooth gaps is also conceivable.
In the present case, parallel to the direction of movement means offset both in the direction of movement and parallel to the direction of movement.
Preferably, a gap base of the at least one tooth gap, advantageously the respective tooth gap, is arranged in the contact plane and the tooth gap is otherwise spaced from the contact plane. The base of the gap is the outer area of the tooth gap parallel to the direction of movement. This means that the outer region of the at least one tooth gap parallel to the direction of movement, advantageously the respective tooth gap, lies in the contact plane and thus projects maximally in the direction of the ground. This leads to an increase in the distance between the remaining suction opening and the contact plane and a reduction in the contact area. Consequently, this leads to a further reduction in the required thrust and an improvement in the cleaning effect.
A tooth tip of at least one of the teeth, preferably the respective tooth, advantageously projects into the suction opening. The tip of the tooth is the outer area of the tooth parallel to the direction of movement. The respective tooth tip thus leads to a pronounced and advantageous generation of turbulence when the air is sucked into the suction opening and thus to an improved cleaning effect. In addition, fibers of a carpet or carpet can be moved and displaced with reduced mechanical resistance. As a result, the thrust force required to move the floor nozzle along a carpet or carpet is reduced with an improved cleaning effect.
The serrated edge may have a wavy or jagged shape. With a wavy shape, the tips of the teeth and the bases of the gaps are curved. This means that fibers of a carpet or carpet are moved and displaced with reduced mechanical resistance. As a result, the thrust force required to move the floor nozzle along a carpet or carpet is reduced. With a serrated shape, the tips of the teeth and the bases of the gaps are pointed or at least have a less pronounced curvature than with the wavy shape. Of course, the respective edge can be partially wavy and partially jagged.
The floor nozzle is designed to move in the direction of movement. For this purpose, the floor nozzle can have at least one roller that can be rolled in the direction of movement. Likewise, a floor unit of the associated vacuum cleaner, of which the floor nozzle is a component, can have at least one such roller. Alternatively or additionally, the underside of the floor nozzle can have a width running in the transverse direction that is greater than a length of the underside in the direction of movement. For example, the width is at least twice as large as the length.
The floor nozzle can have a tubular body spaced apart from the suction opening in the height direction, via which the floor nozzle can be connected or detachably connected to a suction unit of an associated vacuum cleaner. The tubular body therefore serves as a suction channel. Here, the suction opening can be fluidically connected via an internal volume of the floor nozzle or directly to the tubular body.
To simplify the movement of the floor nozzle in the direction of movement, the floor nozzle and / or the associated floor unit can have at least one joint, advantageously two joints, which, in particular when a force is applied to the tubular body to move the floor nozzle, provide an improved and / or simplified and / or directed movement in the direction of movement.
Preferred embodiments provide that at least one of the teeth, advantageously the respective tooth, projects into the suction opening in the direction of movement. This leads to a reduction in the required installation space and thus a reduction in the size of the floor nozzle in the direction of movement while at the same time generating turbulence as described above and contact with and displacement of fibers from carpets or carpets.
In preferred embodiments, at least two of the tooth gaps of at least one of the edges are arranged in the contact plane. A depression penetrating into the underside in the height direction is formed between the tooth gaps adjacent in the transverse direction. The depression means that the tooth gaps that are adjacent to one another in the transverse direction are separated from one another in the contact plane. This means that the contact area with a flat surface is limited to the tooth gaps and consequently the overall contact area is further reduced. In particular, this is in the area of There is local, for example point-like, contact with the subsurface in tooth gaps. This results in a reduction in the contact area and thus a further reduction in the required thrust force.
It is preferred if an associated recess is formed between two tooth gaps that follow one another in the transverse direction. This means that tooth gaps and depressions follow one another in the transverse direction.
Embodiments in which at least one of the at least one depressions opens into an associated tooth which is arranged between those tooth gaps between which the depression is arranged have proven to be advantageous. This means that the depression is connected to the sow opening via the associated tooth. The depression preferably extends into the associated tooth. The tooth is particularly advantageous as part of the associated recess. The depression is thus designed as a channel for fluidic connection with the associated tooth and thus with the suction opening. This leads to an improved suction effect and to a simplified and improved suction of larger dirt particles, especially coarse dirt.
Embodiments in which the respective recess opens into an associated one of the teeth are particularly advantageous. The underside thus has successive depressions in the transverse direction as channels, each of which penetrates into the underside in the height direction.
If a recess extends into the associated tooth, this results in the recess tapering in the transverse direction in the area of the associated tooth and in particular running in a funnel shape in the area of the associated tooth. This means that the air is sucked in more efficiently via the depression and the funnel-shaped course. In addition, in this way, larger dirt particles, in particular coarse dirt, can be sucked into the suction opening in a simplified and improved manner via the recess and the tooth. Accordingly, there is an improved cleaning effect and at the same time a reduction in the required thrust force.
In principle, the respective depression can run in any direction with regard to the direction of movement.
Embodiments are preferred in which at least one of the at least one depressions, advantageously the respective depression, runs parallel to the direction of movement. The proportion of depressions running parallel to the direction of movement is therefore minimized or at least reduced. This leads to a reduction in the mechanical resistance caused by the recesses when moving the floor nozzle in the direction of movement. As a result, the required thrust is reduced. In addition, in this way the distance between an end of the recess remote from the suction opening and the suction opening is reduced. Consequently, dirt particles, especially coarse dirt, can be sucked in better in this way.
Preferably, at least one of the depressions, advantageously the respective depression, slopes away from the associated tooth in the height direction parallel to the direction of movement. In particular, the end of the depression that is remote from the associated tooth is the area of the depression that is mostly distant from the contact surface in the height direction. In particular, the depression falls evenly. This means that dirt particles of larger size, in particular coarse dirt, can easily reach the recess from the end of the recess remote from the associated tooth and be sucked into the suction opening in a targeted manner via the recess.
Alternatively or additionally, it is preferred if the underside runs obliquely away from the ground on the side of the tooth gaps facing away from at least one of the edges in the direction of movement. This means that the suction opening is arranged in a suction section of the underside, with an outer section of the underside being arranged adjacent to the suction section in the direction of movement, which runs obliquely relative to the suction section and, starting from the suction section, leads away from the ground in the direction of the cave. This means that dirt particles, especially coarse dirt, can reach the suction opening more easily via the outer section. This results in an improved cleaning effect.
In advantageous embodiments, at least one of the tooth gaps opens into an associated pocket on the side facing away from the ground, the pocket in Height direction is open to the outside and closed to the inside. The respective tooth gap preferably opens into such an associated pocket. The pocket is expediently open on the side facing the suction opening in the direction of movement towards the inner volume or the tubular body. The respective bag creates turbulence when air is sucked in, which leads to an improved cleaning effect.
The respective pocket is expediently formed in an inner wall of the floor nozzle which runs in the vertical and transverse directions and which delimits the inner volume or the tubular body and adjoins the associated edge. In the inner wall, successive pockets in the transverse direction can be separated from one another by closed and/or flat separating sections of the inner wall.
An associated tooth tip preferably projects parallel to the direction of movement and in the height direction above an associated separating section, that is to say on the side of the separating section facing away from the ground. An associated tooth tip advantageously protrudes from the respective separating section. Thus, the turbulence generated by the tooth tips and the pockets are combined in a synergistic manner and the cleaning effect is consequently improved.
It is preferred if at least one of the at least one depressions, advantageously the respective depression, extends from the associated tooth to an end face of the floor nozzle, which is arranged on the side of the depression facing away from the suction opening. In particular, the end of the recess remote from the suction opening can open into the associated end face or be formed therein. When moving the floor nozzle in the direction of movement, dirt particles, in particular coarse dirt, reach the recess in a simplified manner and consequently reach the suction opening in a simplified and targeted manner via the recesses. This leads to an improved cleaning effect.
It is advantageous if a thread lifter is arranged on the side facing away from the suction opening at least one of the edges. The thread lifter is designed in such a way that when the floor nozzle is moved in the direction of movement, it slides along fibers leads to a lifting of the fibers. The thread lifter expediently runs in strips in the transverse direction. This results in an improved cleaning effect.
In advantageous embodiments, a thread lifter is arranged in at least two recesses that follow one another in the transverse direction. i.e. in particular, that the thread lifter runs in a wave shape following the course of the successive depressions. As a result, the thread lifter engages the fibers at different heights, so that these fibers are raised or lowered at different heights. Accordingly, the air sucked in can flow better through the fibers and can therefore be cleaned better. This therefore leads to an improved cleaning effect.
In principle, both the front edge and the rear edge can have teeth and tooth gaps of the type described. It is also conceivable that only one of the edges is designed in this way.
One can think of, for example, embodiments in which only the front edge has teeth and tooth gaps of the type described. In contrast, the rear edge can run straight in the transverse direction. The front edge is in particular the edge that is arranged in front of the rear edge in a given direction of movement. In particular, the front edge is the edge further away from the tubular body of the floor nozzle in the direction of movement.
It is preferred if at least one of the teeth and/or one of the tooth gaps, preferably the respective tooth and/or the respective tooth gap, has a rounded shape, and the edge is in particular wave-shaped. This leads to a reduction in the resistance caused by contact with the fibers and thus a reduction in the thrust force required. Furthermore, damage to the fibers is prevented or at least reduced in this way.
In principle, the floor nozzle can be permanently attached to a vacuum cleaner. It is also conceivable that the floor nozzle is detachably attached or attachable to the associated vacuum cleaner. Likewise, the floor nozzle can be part of a floor unit that is connected or connectable to the associated vacuum cleaner.
The floor nozzle is advantageously a static floor nozzle. i.e. in particular that the floor nozzle is free of turbo nozzles and/or electrically driven nozzles. Consequently, the floor nozzle can be manufactured easily and cost-effectively with reduced thrust force required and improved cleaning effect.
