Claims

A button holder (1) for a clothing accessory (2, 3) comprising a front wall portion (10), a rear wall portion (20), a connecting wall portion (30) connected to the front wall portion (10) and the rear wall portion (20) to form a clothing button receiving cavity (40) between the facing wall surfaces (11 and 21, respectively) of the front wall portion (10) and the rear wall portion (20), wherein a blind slot (50) is provided in the rear wall portion (20) to receive an element connecting the button to the garment, and wherein the connecting wall portion (30) has an opening (41) at the mouth (51) of the blind slot (50) to allow the button to pass into the cavity (40), characterized in that the connecting wall portion (30) has two side walls (32) and a head wall portion (35) connecting these side walls (32) on the side opposite the opening (41), such that the opposite inner wall surfaces (31) of the side walls (32) taper from the opening (41) towards the head wall portion (35).
The button holder (1) according to claim 1, wherein the blind slot (50) extends centrally between the side walls (32) of the connecting wall portion (30) and the blind slot (50) terminates (52) at a distance from the inner wall of the head wall portion (35) which corresponds to the distance to each of the two tapering inner wall surfaces (31) of the side walls (32).
The button holder (1) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the blind slot (50) tapers towards its closed end (52), in particular such that the distance to each of the two tapering inner wall surfaces (31) of the side walls (32) remains the same from the mouth (51) to the closed end (52) of the blind slot (50).
The button holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the mutually aligned wall surfaces (11 and 21, respectively) of the front wall portion (10) and the rear wall portion (20) extend parallel to each other.
The button holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the mutually aligned wall surfaces (11 and 21, respectively) of the front wall portion (10) and the rear wall portion (20) converge towards the closed end (52) of the slot (50), thereby causing a change in the height of the cavity (40), so that then, alternatively to its side edges, the upper and lower surfaces of a button form the counter surfaces for holding it.
The button holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein a spacer rib (60) is provided on one and only one outer wall surface (22) of the rear wall portion (20) laterally of the blind slot (50).
The button holder (1) according to claim 6, wherein the spacer rib (60) has a bearing surface (62) arranged substantially parallel to the side edge (53) of the blind slot (50) and/or substantially parallel to the inner wall surface (31) of the nearer side wall (32).
The button holder (1) according to claim 7, wherein the spacer rib (60) is divided into two or more individual sub-ribs in the direction of its bearing surface (62) and optionally the height and/or the length of the sub-ribs is made variable.
The button holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the clothing accessory is integrally connected (3) to the button holder.
The button holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein an adapter portion (3, 3') is integrally connected to the button holder, and the button holder further comprises a connecting plate (2) which is connectable to the adapter portion (3, 3') in a form-fit and/or magnetically via elements provided in the connecting plate (2) and in the adapter portion (3, 3').
The button holder (1) according to claim 10, wherein the adapter section is an inclined adapter section (3'), the front side (93') of which is oriented obliquely to the outer wall surface (12).
The button holder (1) according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the adapter section (3, 3') has its underside (13) flush with the lower edge (15) of the button holder.
A set comprising at least two button holders (1) according to claim 4, wherein in each of the button holders (1) the distance predetermined by the wall surfaces (11 and 21, respectively) of the front wall section (10) and the rear wall section (20) facing each other and thus the height of the opening (40) for receiving buttons is different.
