Description

    OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention, as exposed on the wording of the present specification, refers to a filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes which imparts to the function it is intended to, advantages and characteristics, which will be described in detail below, which are an improvement of the current state of the art.
  • More specifically, the object of the invention is focused on a filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes, particularly cigarettes of marijuana or other herbs with a psychoactive effect other than tobacco, which, formed from a sheet of paper-cardboard, preferably ecological made of herbs dried in the sun, has a particular structural configuration specifically designed not to trap the molecules resulting from the combustion of the substance that causes the desired effect in users, but without giving way to chippings or small particles that may end up in the mouth of the smoker
  • APPLICATION FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The application field of the present invention is framed within the sector of the industry dedicated to the manufacture of smoking articles, focusing particularly on the field of filters for rolling cigarettes, and more specifically for marijuana cigarettes and the like.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • As is known, normally to smoke marijuana or Cannabis sativa, a filter of the conventional type that is used with tobacco cigarettes is not usually used. One of the reasons for this is due to the fact that the conventional filters, being more compact, trap the particles resulting from the combustion of this substance that causes the desired effect in users, which is why the most common is to use a cigarette holder simply made of rolled cardboard. However, this solution is not satisfactory either, since it gives way to chippings and small grass particles that end up in the smoker's mouth, causing a very unpleasant effect, in addition to the possible irritations if one of these particles were to stop at the throat along with the flow of air and smoke.
  • The objective of the present invention is, therefore, to provide the market with a filtering cigarette holder specifically designed for said type of cigarettes.
  • On the other hand, and as a reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that, although different types of filtering cigarette holders for cigarettes are known in the market, the existence of any is unknown, at least on the part of the applicant, which presents technical, structural and constitutive characteristics that are the same or similar to those presented by the one claimed herein,
  • EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
  • The filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes that the invention proposes allows to satisfactorily achieve the aforementioned objectives, being the characterizing details that make it possible and that distinguish it conveniently included in the final claims that accompany the present description.
  • What the invention proposes, as previously pointed out, is a filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes, particularly for cigarettes of marijuana or other herbs with an analogous psychoactive effect other than tobacco, which, being formed from a paper-cardboard sheet, preferably an ecological paper-cardboard made of sun-dried herbs, has the particularity of presenting a structural configuration specifically designed to give way to the particles resulting from the combustion of the substance that causes the desired effect in users, and at the same time do not give way to chippings or small particles that can come off in said combustion, preventing them from ending up in the smoker's mouth.
  • For this, and more specifically, the paper-cardboard sheet from which the cigarette holder of the invention is formed is made up of a rectangular piece, approximately 2 X 4 cm, which, close to one of its minor sides, has a cross cut, parallel to said minor side, that covers, approximately, half of it defining a portion which can be detached from the rest that we will call the flap which, at its proximal end, that is, in the centre of the area thereof that is located in the centre of the rectangular piece that makes up the laminate body of the cigarette holder, it has two small grooves that define two air passages that we will call gills, there being also another cut at the height of these gills, in this case a longitudinal cut that, with a beginning barely a millimetre far from the mentioned gills, it extends in a section towards the opposite side of the rectangular piece, ending in two transversal segments, so that it has a lying T-shaped.
  • This configuration allows the filtering cigarette holder to be assembled so that the flap bends at a 90° angle at the height where the gills end and, after that, it is curved and inserted into the T-shaped cut, being curved and bended again the excess of the rectangular piece, rolling it to the end to form a cylinder, with which, the part in which the mentioned gills are located is arranged transversely in the centre of the formed cylinder and, consequently, defines a barrier such that, allowing the passage of the product molecules, prevents the passage of chippings and unwanted particles.
  • More specifically, with the filtering cigarette holder once assembled, it constitutes a cylinder inside which includes a transverse wall with gills defined by grooves such that, when inhaling the smoke, particles and chippings are trapped in the barrier that these gills determine, which remain positioned vertically, this reduces the risk of irritation and also reduces the flow rate and speed of the passage of smoke through the throat, without sacrificing the psychoactive effect.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • In order to complete the description being made and to ease a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, we attach to the present specification, making part of the same, a set of layouts where, with an illustrative non limitative character, the following has been represented:
    • Figure number 1.- Shows a schematic plan view of an example of embodiment of the unfolded and not assembled sheet from which the filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes, according to the invention, is obtained, the configuration and parts thereof being appreciated.
    • Figures number 2-A.2-B and 2-C.- Show respective views of the consecutive stages of assembly of the filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes of the invention from the sheet shown in figure 1.
    • Figure number 3.- Shows a perspective view of the filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes, once assembled, the parts and elements that it comprises internally being appreciated, represented by dashed lines.
    • And figure number 4.- Shows a front elevation view of the filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes, the area of gill-like cuts that it has for retaining chippings and small particles that it has inside.
    PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
  • In light of the mentioned figures, and according to the numbering taken on them, can be seen in them an example of non-limiting realization of the filtering cigarette holder for rolling cigarettes of the invention, which comprises what is described in detail below.
  • Thus, as can be seen in figure 1, the cigarette holder (1) in question is formed from a paper-cardboard laminate body (2), preferably ecological paper-cardboard made of sun-dried herbs, consisting of a rectangular piece of approximately 2 X 4 cm, which, close to one of its minor sides (2a), has a cross cut (3), parallel to said minor side (2a) and covering approximately half thereof, defining a flap (4), which, at its proximal end, preferably located approximately in the centre of the width (a) of the rectangular piece that makes up the laminate body (2), has two small gill-like grooves (5), parallel to each other and to the aforementioned cross cut (3), there being also, at the height of said gills (5) approximately one millimetre far therefrom, a longitudinal cut (6) which, preferably in coincidence with the longitudinal central axis of the rectangular piece (2), extends in one section towards the opposite minor side (2b) ending, approximately in the centre of the rectangular piece (2) in respective transverse segments (6a) that give said longitudinal cut (6) a lying T-shape.
  • Referring to Figures 2-A, 2-B and 2-C, it is seen how, from configuration, the cigarette holder (1) can be assembled so that the flap (4) is bent at an angle of 90° to the height where the gills (5) end (Figure 2-A) and, after that, it is curved and inserted into the T-shaped longitudinal cut (6) (Figure 2-B), then curving and folding again the excess of the rectangular piece, rolling it to the end to form a cylinder (1) (figure 2-C) constituting the cigarette holder inside which, preferably in the centre thereof, it comprises a transverse wall (5a) with the gills (5) that allow the molecules resulting from the combustion of the substance to pass, causing the desired effect in users, but not the chippings (v) or annoying particles that can end up in the smoker's mouth, as observed in Figure 3 and Figure 4.
  • Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as a way of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make a more extensive explanation in order that any expert in this area will understand its scope and the advantages that can be derived from it, making known that, within reason it could be put into practice in other embodiments differing in detail from that indicated by way of example, and which will obtain the same degree of protection, provided that they do not alter, change, or modify its fundamental principle.
