Definitions
- the present invention is based on a separator sheet feed unit for a slicing device for slicing food products, in particular high-performance slicers, the separator sheet feed unit having an exit unit with an exit slot through which separator sheets are output in the direction of the slicing device,
- Slicing devices for food products which are also referred to as slicing devices, slicers or high-performance slicers, typically have a rotating blade in the form of a circular blade or sickle blade, with which product slices are cut off from a food product.
- the food product is usually what is known as a food bar, for example a cheese, ham or meat bar, which is fed to the cutting plane of the slicing device by means of a product feed unit.
- the product slices severed from the food product in the cutting plane fall one after the other in a portioning area onto a portioning conveyor. In this portioning area, the product slices are combined into individual portions from several product slices.
- the product slices are at least partially arranged one above the other, in particular stacked or shingled.
- separator sheet feed unit which is also commonly referred to as intermediate sheet feeders, sheet feeders or interleavers.
- the separating sheets are often provided in the form of a strip material on a roll.
- the divider sheets are unrolled from the roll and separated by the divider sheet feed unit and then shot into the portioning area through an outlet slot of the divider sheet feed unit in such a way that each divider sheet rests on a product slice that has already been placed in the portioning area before another product slice falls onto the product slice that has already been placed.
- the additional product slice therefore falls onto the separating sheet and does not come into direct contact with the previously deposited product slice.
- Typical separator sheet feed units and slicing devices of the generic type are known, for example, from the publications WO 2018 115 178 A2 , EP 3 141 359 A1 and EP 2 942 166 A1 known.
- the separator sheet feeds are always arranged in the immediate vicinity of the blade of the slicing device.
- food particles and shavings are always produced in addition to the severed product slices, which are whirled around by the rotating movement of the knife and fall down.
- the separator sheet feed unit which is arranged immediately adjacent and often directly below the blade, is contaminated by these particles and chips.
- the object is achieved with a separator sheet feed unit for a slicing device for slicing food products, in particular high-performance slicers, the separator sheet feed unit having an outlet unit with an outlet slot through which separator sheets are output in the direction of the slicing device, and the separator sheet feed unit having a cleaning unit for blowing out the outlet slot with a Includes cleaning gas.
- the separator sheet feed unit according to the invention has the advantage over the prior art that contamination and the resulting blockage of the outlet slot, for example by the blade of the slicing device Food particles and shavings that are separated and whirled around are prevented by the outlet slot being blown clear by the cleaning gas. Any particles or chips located in the area of the outlet slot are thereby removed from and from the outlet slot.
- the service life of the separator sheet feed unit and the associated slicing device can thus be significantly increased.
- the cleaning unit is configured for continuously blowing out the outlet slot with the cleaning gas. Due to the continuous blowing out, especially during the cutting and portioning process of the slicing device, an accumulation of even the smallest particles and chips is effectively avoided. It is conceivable that the continuous blowing out takes place with compressed air, which is directed in the direction of the outlet slot under reduced, ie comparatively low, pressure and volume flow. Alternatively, an antiseptic gas could also be used as the cleaning gas.
- the cleaning gas preferably comes from a gas source for providing the cleaning gas, which includes, for example, a compressed air reservoir in the form of a compressed air tank or a compressor.
- the cleaning unit is configured for clocked blowing out of the outlet slot with a further cleaning gas or with the cleaning gas under increased pressure.
- a clocked blowing out is implemented, which takes place, for example, under greater pressure and/or an increased volume flow.
- a more intensive cleaning process is thus achieved from time to time.
- the cycled blowing out of the cleaning slot does not take place with compressed air, or not solely with compressed air, but with the use of an antiseptic gas in order to reduce the formation of germs.
- the cycled cleaning can take place at specific time intervals, whenever a product change is pending and/or as required, i.e. when contamination is detected.
- the cleaning unit preferably includes a further gas source for providing the further cleaning gas.
- the cleaning gas then preferably comprises compressed air and the further cleaning gas comprises the antiseptic gas.
- the antiseptic gas can include, for example, hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone, carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide.
- H 2 O 2 hydrogen peroxide
- formaldehyde formaldehyde
- chlorine dioxide chlorine
- chlorine ozone
- carbon dioxide ozone
- carbon dioxide ozone
- carbon dioxide Preferably is an antiseptic gas in the context of the present invention, a gas which exerts a biocidal or biostatic effect on microorganisms and thus causes a disinfection effect.
- the cleaning unit has at least one outlet nozzle directed in the direction of the outlet slot for generating a gas flow in the area of the outlet slot and/or comprises a line system for conducting the cleaning gas, which has a plurality of outlet openings in the area of the outlet slot having. It is therefore preferably not necessary to dismantle the separator sheet feed unit in order to clean the separator sheet feed unit.
- Another object of the present invention is a slicing device for slicing food products, in particular a high-performance slicer, having a knife which separates food slices from at least one food product, which are arranged at least partially overlapping to form a portion of several food slices in a portioning area, with between at least two food slices a separating sheet is provided, the slicing device for providing the separating sheet having the separating sheet feed unit according to the invention.
- Another object of the present invention is a method for operating the separator sheet feed unit according to the invention, wherein in one working mode separator sheets are output through the outlet slot of the outlet unit in the direction of a portioning area of the slicing device, in which slices separated by the slicing device are arranged at least partially overlapping, and wherein the outlet slot is blown out with a cleaning gas during the working mode by means of a cleaning unit.
- the cleaning slot is thus preferably always blown out at least when the separator sheet feed unit is in the operating mode. This advantageously prevents contamination and the resultant blockage of the outlet slot, for example due to food particles and shavings separated and swirling around by the blade of the slicing device, by the outlet slot being blown clear by the cleaning gas in the working mode. Any particles or chips located in the area of the outlet slot are thereby removed from and from the outlet slot.
- the outlet slot is continuously supplied with the cleaning gas, in particular compressed air or an antiseptic gas, in a continuous cleaning mode is blown out.
- the cleaning gas in particular compressed air or an antiseptic gas
- Continuous blowing out in the context of the present invention means in particular that blowing out always takes place when separator sheets are output in the portioning area and/or the blade of the slicing device and/or a product feed unit of the slicing device and/or a conveyor belt in the portioning area on which the Food slices are portioned, is in operation.
- the outlet slot is blown out with the cleaning gas at a pressure that is higher than in the continuous cleaning mode.
- a continuous blowing out in which the outlet slot is blown out under lower pressure and/or volume flow
- a clocked blowing out referred to as a disinfection cycle
- the time intervals are preferably variable and can be based, for example, on the cycle of the slicing device or on the case of need.
- Compressed air is preferably used both for continuous blowing out and for cyclical blowing out.
- the outlet slot is blown out with a further cleaning gas during a clocked disinfection cycle, with the cleaning gas preferably comprising compressed air and the further cleaning gas comprising an antiseptic gas. Disinfection of the separating sheet feed unit is thus achieved in an advantageous manner when blowing out in cycles.
- the antiseptic gas can include, for example, hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone, carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide.
- An antiseptic gas within the meaning of the present invention is preferably a gas which exerts a biocidal or biostatic effect on microorganisms and thus causes a disinfecting effect.
- Another object of the present invention is a method for operating a slicing device, in which the knife is used to separate food slices from a food product and in which the food slices are arranged at least partially overlapping to form a portion of several food slices in the portioning area, with between at least two Food slices a separator sheet is arranged with the inventive method for operating the separator sheet feed unit according to the invention.
- FIG 1 Illustrated is a slicing apparatus 20 for slicing food products having a divider sheet feed unit 10 according to an exemplary first embodiment of the present invention.
- the slicing device 20 has a rotating blade 21 , a product feed 24 and a portioning device 25 .
- the product feed 24 is used to feed one or more food products (also referred to as food bars 23 ), for example a cheese, sausage or ham bar, to the knife 21 , as a result of which individual food slices 22 are separated from the food bar 23 .
- the knife 21 comprises a rotating circular knife or sickle knife.
- the food slices 22 then fall in a portioning area onto a conveyor belt of the portioning device 25, which is controlled in such a way that stacks 26 of at least partially overlapping food slices 22 are formed on the conveyor belt.
- the separator sheet feed unit 10 comprises a roll of tape 11 on which at least one rolled-up band of separator sheets 5 is provided.
- the belt comprises an interleaver strip, from which individual separating sheets 5, so-called interleavers, are cut off one after the other in order to arrange them between the partially stacked food slices 22 and to prevent the food slices from sticking together.
- the tape is guided by the free-running tape roller 11 or one driven by a further drive (not shown) as part of a transport movement 3 over two deflection rollers 4 in the present example to a deceleration unit 1 .
- the person skilled in the art understands that no deflection rollers 4, only one deflection roller or more than two deflection rollers 4 could also be arranged between the tape roller 11 and the deceleration unit 1.
- Behind the delay unit 1 the tape of the slicing device 20 is fed.
- the individual separating sheets 5 are separated from the band by means of a separate separating device and shot through an outlet slot 30 of the separating sheet feed unit 10 between the food slices 22 cut off by a blade 21 of the slicing device 20 .
- the drive includes, in particular, a motor-driven roller over which the strip of separating material 5 is guided. It is conceivable that an air flow is introduced into the cutting area, via which the respective cut off and intermittently injected sheet nestles against the front of the just cut off food slice by means of the Venturi effect and then, when portioning the just cut off food slice, is then placed under it on the stack slice of food lies.
- the delay unit 1 serves to delay the transport movement 3 of the tape caused by the drive along the transport direction in order to increase the transport resistance of the tape. In this way it is ensured that the tape always remains under tension when unrolling from the tape roll 11 and the tape does not jump from the tape roll 11 or the deflection rollers 4, bend, tear or jam. In particular, what is achieved is that only as much separating material 5 is unrolled from the roll of tape 11 as the slicing device 20 requires for arrangement between the food slices 22 .
- the separator sheet feed unit 10 now has a cleaning unit 30 which is provided for blowing out the outlet slot 31 with a cleaning gas.
- the cleaning gas preferably comprises compressed air, with which the outlet slot is blown out continuously, i.e. while the separating sheets 5 are being conveyed and the slicing device 20 is in operation.
- the cleaning unit 30 has a gas source 32 in the form of a pressure tank in which the compressed air is provided.
- the pressure tank is connected via a fluid line to an outlet nozzle 33, from which the cleaning gas flows out in the direction of the outlet slot 31 during the working mode.
- the gas source 32 could also be realized in the form of a compressor.
- the cleaning gas does not include compressed air but an antiseptic gas.
- the present slicing device 20 is designed as a multi-track slicing device 20, so that a plurality of blocks of food 23 are cut in parallel and portioned at the same time.
- slicing device 20 comprises at least a plurality of product feeds 24 arranged in parallel, in particular conveyor belts arranged in parallel and driven independently of one another, and optionally also a plurality of portioning devices 25 arranged in parallel.
- the plurality of food blocks 23 is preferably cut with just one knife 21 .
- Divider sheet feed unit 10 correspondingly comprises a multi-track unwinding device, so that individual divider sheets 5 can be arranged between stacked food slices 22 of each parallel stack.
- the multi-lane Unrolling device for separator sheet feed unit 10 has, in particular, a plurality of tape rolls 11 arranged in parallel to provide a plurality of strips of release material, a corresponding plurality of drives arranged in parallel, a corresponding plurality of separating devices arranged in parallel and/or a corresponding plurality of delay units 1 arranged in parallel. It is conceivable that the separating sheet feed unit 10 has one or more outlet slots 31 which are each blown out with a cleaning unit 30 or which are blown out with just one common cleaning unit 30 .
- FIG 2 Illustrated is a slicing apparatus 20 for slicing food products having a divider sheet feed unit 10 according to an exemplary second embodiment of the present invention.
- the second embodiment is essentially the same as in figure 1 illustrated first embodiment, so that all explanations related to the first embodiment also apply to the second embodiment.
- the cleaning unit 30 has a further gas source 34 in which an antiseptic gas is provided.
- the additional gas source 34 also includes a pump 35.
- the exit nozzle 33 is permanently connected to the gas source 32 so that the exit slot 31 is continuously blown out with compressed air from the gas source 32 (also referred to as continuous cleaning mode).
- the additional gas source 34 is temporarily and clocked connected to the outlet slot 31 via a 2/2 valve 36, whereby the outlet slot 31 is additionally blown out with antiseptic gas (also referred to as additional cleaning gas) to disinfect the same in a clocked disinfection cycle.
- the antiseptic gas can include, for example, hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone, carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide.
- the clocked disinfection cycle also works with a higher pressure and/or a higher volume flow than in the continuous cleaning mode. It is also conceivable that compressed air can be used instead of the antiseptic gas in the clocked disinfection mode.
- continuous blowing out in which the outlet slot is blown out with compressed air under lower pressure and/or volume flow
- clocked blowing out in which the outlet slot is preferably under higher pressure and/or at certain time intervals or volume flow is blown out with the antiseptic gas.
- the time intervals are preferably variable and can be based, for example, on the cycle of the slicing device or on the case of need.

Description
The present invention is based on a separator sheet feed unit for a slicing device for slicing food products, in particular high-performance slicers, the separator sheet feed unit having an exit unit with an exit slot through which separator sheets are output in the direction of the slicing device,
Such separator sheet feed units are known from the prior art.
Slicing devices for food products, which are also referred to as slicing devices, slicers or high-performance slicers, typically have a rotating blade in the form of a circular blade or sickle blade, with which product slices are cut off from a food product. The food product is usually what is known as a food bar, for example a cheese, ham or meat bar, which is fed to the cutting plane of the slicing device by means of a product feed unit. The product slices severed from the food product in the cutting plane fall one after the other in a portioning area onto a portioning conveyor. In this portioning area, the product slices are combined into individual portions from several product slices. The product slices are at least partially arranged one above the other, in particular stacked or shingled.
So that adjacent product slices do not stick to one another in their overlapping area, exactly one separator sheet is always inserted between two adjacent product slices, which is provided by the separator sheet feed unit, which is also commonly referred to as intermediate sheet feeders, sheet feeders or interleavers.
For this purpose, the separating sheets are often provided in the form of a strip material on a roll. The divider sheets are unrolled from the roll and separated by the divider sheet feed unit and then shot into the portioning area through an outlet slot of the divider sheet feed unit in such a way that each divider sheet rests on a product slice that has already been placed in the portioning area before another product slice falls onto the product slice that has already been placed. The additional product slice therefore falls onto the separating sheet and does not come into direct contact with the previously deposited product slice.
The separator sheet feeds are always arranged in the immediate vicinity of the blade of the slicing device. When slicing the food product, food particles and shavings are always produced in addition to the severed product slices, which are whirled around by the rotating movement of the knife and fall down. As a result, there is regularly the problem that the separator sheet feed unit, which is arranged immediately adjacent and often directly below the blade, is contaminated by these particles and chips.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a separator sheet feed unit for a slicing device which does not have the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art and, moreover, is inexpensive to implement.
The object is achieved with a separator sheet feed unit for a slicing device for slicing food products, in particular high-performance slicers, the separator sheet feed unit having an outlet unit with an outlet slot through which separator sheets are output in the direction of the slicing device, and the separator sheet feed unit having a cleaning unit for blowing out the outlet slot with a Includes cleaning gas.
The separator sheet feed unit according to the invention has the advantage over the prior art that contamination and the resulting blockage of the outlet slot, for example by the blade of the slicing device Food particles and shavings that are separated and whirled around are prevented by the outlet slot being blown clear by the cleaning gas. Any particles or chips located in the area of the outlet slot are thereby removed from and from the outlet slot. The service life of the separator sheet feed unit and the associated slicing device can thus be significantly increased.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is provided that the cleaning unit is configured for continuously blowing out the outlet slot with the cleaning gas. The cleaning gas preferably comes from a gas source for providing the cleaning gas, which includes, for example, a compressed air reservoir in the form of a compressed air tank or a compressor.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is provided that the cleaning unit is configured for clocked blowing out of the outlet slot with a further cleaning gas or with the cleaning gas under increased pressure. In addition to the continuous blowing out of the outlet slot with compressed air, a clocked blowing out is implemented, which takes place, for example, under greater pressure and/or an increased volume flow. In addition to the continuous cleaning, a more intensive cleaning process is thus achieved from time to time. It is also conceivable that the cycled blowing out of the cleaning slot does not take place with compressed air, or not solely with compressed air, but with the use of an antiseptic gas in order to reduce the formation of germs. The cycled cleaning can take place at specific time intervals, whenever a product change is pending and/or as required, i.e. when contamination is detected.
So that antiseptic gas can also be used during the clocked blowing out, the cleaning unit preferably includes a further gas source for providing the further cleaning gas. The cleaning gas then preferably comprises compressed air and the further cleaning gas comprises the antiseptic gas. The antiseptic gas can include, for example, hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone, carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide. Preferably is an antiseptic gas in the context of the present invention, a gas which exerts a biocidal or biostatic effect on microorganisms and thus causes a disinfection effect.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is provided that the cleaning unit has at least one outlet nozzle directed in the direction of the outlet slot for generating a gas flow in the area of the outlet slot and/or comprises a line system for conducting the cleaning gas, which has a plurality of outlet openings in the area of the outlet slot having. It is therefore preferably not necessary to dismantle the separator sheet feed unit in order to clean the separator sheet feed unit.
Another object of the present invention is a slicing device for slicing food products, in particular a high-performance slicer, having a knife which separates food slices from at least one food product, which are arranged at least partially overlapping to form a portion of several food slices in a portioning area, with between at least two food slices a separating sheet is provided, the slicing device for providing the separating sheet having the separating sheet feed unit according to the invention.
Another object of the present invention is a method for operating the separator sheet feed unit according to the invention, wherein in one working mode separator sheets are output through the outlet slot of the outlet unit in the direction of a portioning area of the slicing device, in which slices separated by the slicing device are arranged at least partially overlapping, and wherein the outlet slot is blown out with a cleaning gas during the working mode by means of a cleaning unit. The cleaning slot is thus preferably always blown out at least when the separator sheet feed unit is in the operating mode.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention it is provided that during the working mode the outlet slot is continuously supplied with the cleaning gas, in particular compressed air or an antiseptic gas, in a continuous cleaning mode is blown out. By continuously blowing out the cleaning slot, any accumulation of food particles and shavings is prevented. Continuous blowing out in the context of the present invention means in particular that blowing out always takes place when separator sheets are output in the portioning area and/or the blade of the slicing device and/or a product feed unit of the slicing device and/or a conveyor belt in the portioning area on which the Food slices are portioned, is in operation.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is provided that during a clocked disinfection cycle the outlet slot is blown out with the cleaning gas at a pressure that is higher than in the continuous cleaning mode. There is therefore preferably a continuous blowing out, in which the outlet slot is blown out under lower pressure and/or volume flow, and additionally a clocked blowing out (referred to as a disinfection cycle), in which the outlet slot is cleaned at certain time intervals with a higher pressure and/or volume flow (than during of continuous blowing out) is blown out. The time intervals are preferably variable and can be based, for example, on the cycle of the slicing device or on the case of need. Compressed air is preferably used both for continuous blowing out and for cyclical blowing out.
According to an alternative preferred embodiment of the present invention, provision is made for the outlet slot to be blown out with a further cleaning gas during a clocked disinfection cycle, with the cleaning gas preferably comprising compressed air and the further cleaning gas comprising an antiseptic gas. Disinfection of the separating sheet feed unit is thus achieved in an advantageous manner when blowing out in cycles. The antiseptic gas can include, for example, hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, chlorine, ozone, carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide. An antiseptic gas within the meaning of the present invention is preferably a gas which exerts a biocidal or biostatic effect on microorganisms and thus causes a disinfecting effect.
Another object of the present invention is a method for operating a slicing device, in which the knife is used to separate food slices from a food product and in which the food slices are arranged at least partially overlapping to form a portion of several food slices in the portioning area, with between at least two Food slices a separator sheet is arranged with the inventive method for operating the separator sheet feed unit according to the invention.

The slicing
In the portioning area of the portioning
The separator
The tape is guided by the free-running
Between the separating device and the delay unit there is a drive (not shown), which intermittently conveys the separating
The
The separator
For this purpose, the
Alternatively, the
DieIt is also conceivable that the

Im vorliegenden Beispiel umfasst die weitere Gasquelle 34 zudem eine Pumpe 35.In contrast to the first embodiment, however, in the second embodiment the
The
It is conceivable that the clocked disinfection cycle also works with a higher pressure and/or a higher volume flow than in the continuous cleaning mode. It is also conceivable that compressed air can be used instead of the antiseptic gas in the clocked disinfection mode.
In the second embodiment, therefore, continuous blowing out, in which the outlet slot is blown out with compressed air under lower pressure and/or volume flow, and additionally clocked blowing out (referred to as a disinfection cycle), in which the outlet slot is preferably under higher pressure and/or at certain time intervals or volume flow is blown out with the antiseptic gas. The time intervals are preferably variable and can be based, for example, on the cycle of the slicing device or on the case of need.
