Claims (11)

  1. Binding (12) for a board (10), preferably a kiteboard, comprising
    a foot pad (14),
    a foot strap (16); and
    at least one release mechanism (20) for opening the foot strap (16),
    characterized in that
    the release mechanism (20) has at least one side-stop (22) that can be actuated by a foot, which is held between the foot pad (14) and the foot strap (16), in particular barefoot, for the purpose of triggering the release mechanism (20).
