Definitions
- the invention relates to a dosing closure device for bottles, in particular for storing and dispensing liquid pharmaceuticals, having the features specified in the preamble of claim 1 and a multi-part cap closure that can be used in such a closure device and can be mounted on a bottle neck.
- Dosing closure devices for bottles and cap closures which can be used therein and have an inner cap with a mounting element for attachment to the bottle neck are known in many designs.
- the inner cap serves as an assembly part with which the cap closure closes the neck of a bottle—at least after the initial filling—on the distribution channel and until it is first opened.
- Different mounting parts of the cap closure can then be placed on such an inner cap, with the help of which a wide variety of functionalities of the cap closure can be implemented.
- hygiene regulations are increasingly in the foreground, for example dropper inserts with dropper tubes protruding into the bottle neck should not come into contact with the liquid bottle contents before they are used for the first time.
- DE 10 2016 109 162 A1 for example a dosing closure device in which an inner cap is combined with a detachable locking part with an outer cap slidably mounted thereon.
- the dosing insert attached to the inside of the outer cap is stored outside the bottle neck, which is closed with a sealing disk.
- the tear-off ring For the first opening of cap closure, the tear-off ring must be removed and the outer cap pushed along the inner cap in the direction of the neck of the bottle. The dosing insert penetrates the sealing disc and is fixed to the inner cap.
- the above construction is relatively complex, since a reliable displacement mechanism between the inner and outer cap has to be implemented.
- the hinged lid used in this prior art is undesirable for many applications because of the risk of an unreliable closure.
- this previously known dosing closure device has the disadvantage that the sealing disk is only punctured by the dosing insert, so that the remains of the sealing disk can lead to blocking of the outflow opening of the dosing insert, for example.
- a similar sealing and sliding mechanism is in DE 10 2016 224 222 B4 shown.
- the problem of the punctured sealing disk is avoided by a separating crown surrounding the dosing spout of the insert, which ensures that the severed sealing disk is reliably pushed aside from the flow cross-section of the bottle neck.
- a sliding mechanism and a hinged lid are also available here.
- the WO 2015/150 673 A1 describes a dossier closure device for bottles with a bottle neck and a multi-part cap closure that can be mounted on the bottle neck.
- the latter includes an inner cap with a mounting element for attachment to the bottle neck.
- a dosing closure device for bottles that offers reliable sealing of the bottle and separate storage of a dosing insert between the filling of the bottle, on the distribution channel and until it is first opened by the consumer without complex displacement mechanisms and without the problem of a sealing disc remaining in the bottle neck.
- This closure device includes
- the dosing closure device is based on individual components of the cap closure which cannot be slid relative to one another but are detachably attached to one another and can be used in a targeted manner during the individual phases of use of the dosing closure device according to their respective function.
- the inner cap serves to reliably close the bottle after filling and on the distribution channel.
- a sealing disk can improve the sealing effect and a tamper-evident ring can ensure consumer safety in the usual way.
- the inner cap serves as a holder for an intermediate base that is detachably fastened thereon and acts as an adapter for the intermediate storage of the outer cap with dosing insert after filling and during the distribution of the bottle. To use the closure device for the first time, it is sufficient to remove the intermediate base from the inner cap and open the latter.
- the inner cap is then no longer required.
- the outer cap with the dosing insert is then removed from the intermediate base and inserted into the neck of the bottle.
- the intermediate base can then also be disposed of.
- the dosing insert By screwing the outer cap onto the bottle neck, the dosing insert is brought into position in the outlet opening of the bottle neck, where it remains permanently engaged.
- the dosing closure device is used, only the outer cap needs to be removed and the contents of the bottle can be dispensed drop by drop with the help of the dosing insert in the usual way for the user.
- the object of the present invention relates to the shape of the one-piece intermediate base, which should be particularly adapted to the different functionalities and in particular should offer a compact, optically tidy appearance with a reliable assembly connection between the inner cap and intermediate base.
- the intermediate base has a cup-shaped base part that is open at the bottom and a sleeve-shaped holding part that is open at the top. With the base part, the intermediate base is slipped onto the inner cap, which thus serves as an anchoring element.
- a latching device for the detachable attachment of these two components to one another, a latching device is provided which consists of an annular projection running around the inside in front of the front edge of the base part and an annular shoulder (19) cooperating therewith running around the outside of the inner cap.
- the holding part assumes the function of releasably attaching the outer cap and accommodating the dosing insert before it is opened for the first time.
- the Inner cap have a sealing washer inserted therein and/or a tamper-evident ring.
- the inner cap and accordingly also the outer cap as screw caps with an internal thread as a mounting element on the bottle neck.
- a structurally simple, yet reliable, detachable attachment between the inner cap and the intermediate base can be implemented by latching with the aid of an annular projection on the base part of the intermediate base and an annular shoulder on the outside of the inner cap.
- the holding part of the intermediate base is provided with support webs running longitudinally and axially, distributed over its circumference, on which the outer cap is detachably fixed with frictional engagement.
- the latter can thus be easily pulled off the intermediate base or unscrewed, with the internal thread of the outer cap behaving more or less like a self-tapping thread with respect to the support webs.
- a further development of the invention relates to the mounting of the dosing insert on the outer cap with the aid of an inside mounting pin on the outer cap, on which the dosing insert is held with a central dosing spout, preferably with a friction fit, before the first use of the dosing closure device.
- a fixation based on friction can also be provided for the positional engagement of the dosing insert in the outlet opening of the bottle neck, in that a fixing collar on the dosing insert engages in the outlet opening with frictional engagement.
- a dosing closure device for storing and dispensing e.g. liquid pharmaceuticals consists of a bottle neck 1 of a bottle 2 - see FIG 6 - on the one hand and on the other hand from a multi-part, mountable on the bottle neck 2 cap closure 3.
- Its structure is based on the Figures 2 to 5 to explain. It has four components each made in one piece from plastic, namely an inner cap 4, an intermediate base 5, an outer cap 6 and a dosing insert 7.
- the inner cap 4 has--as can be seen from FIGS 3 and 4 shows - an internal thread 8 as a mounting element for screwing onto the external thread 9 on the bottle neck 1 (see 6 ) on.
- the inner cap 4 is provided at its lower end with a tamper-evident ring 11 connected via tear-off webs 10, the structure and mode of operation of which is shown in FIG DE 10 20105 040 745 A1 is comprehensively described.
- a sealing disk 13 consisting of an aluminum foam composite material is fastened to the top wall 12 of the inner cap 4 with the aid of a suitable adhesive. After the bottle has been filled and the cap closure 3 has been screwed on, this sealing disk sits on the upper edge 14 (see Fig 6 ) of the bottleneck 1 tightly.
- the intermediate base 5 serves as a kind of adapter and is formed in one piece from a cup-shaped base part 15 which is open at the bottom and a sleeve-shaped holding part 16 which is open at the top. With the base part 15, the intermediate base 5 is pushed onto the inner cap 4 from above.
- a latching device is provided, which is formed from an annular projection 18 running around inside in front of the front edge 17 of the base part 5 and an annular shoulder 19 cooperating therewith running around the outside of the inner cap.
- the outer cap 6 is provided on its inside with an inner cap identical internal thread 22, with the help of which the outer cap 6 in the position of use - see 6 - Can be screwed to the external thread 9 on the bottleneck 1.
- the outer cap 6 also has on the inside of its top wall 23 a one-piece mounting pin 24 on which the dosing insert 7 is held by sliding its dosing spout 25 with frictional engagement.
- the dosing spout 25 is provided on its inside with narrow webs 26 running longitudinally and axially.
- the dosing insert 7 is also provided with a fixing collar 27 arranged concentrically around the dosing spout 25, with which it is frictionally engaged in position in the outlet opening 28 of the bottle neck 1 (see FIG 6 ) can be fixed.
- the outer cap 6 with the dosing insert 7 mounted on it is fastened on the holding part 16 of the intermediate base 5 .
- the latter has on its outside relatively soft supporting webs 29 running parallel to the longitudinal axis, onto which the outer cap 6 is pushed with its internal thread 22 .
- the fixation between the outer cap 6 and the intermediate base 5 is frictional.
- the dosing insert 7 is accommodated in the interior space 30 of the holding part 16 .
- the function of the dosing closure device is now to be discussed as follows:
- the cap closure 3 can be prefabricated as a whole by the manufacturer and in 2 and 3 configuration shown are delivered to a bottle filler.
- the cap closure is then screwed onto a filled bottle as a whole, with the transmissible torques between the intermediate base 5 and the inner cap 4 being designed in such a way that the Originality ring 11 can be transferred to the bottle neck 1 via the corresponding latching edge 31 without the risk of it being torn off.
- the sealing disc 13 also comes into tight contact with the upper edge 14 of the bottle neck 1.
- the bottle can be closed in this way and transported, stored and sold.
- the outer cap 6 with the dosing insert 7 attached to it must be unscrewed from the cap closure 3 by turning, which is done easily and without any problems due to the engagement with the soft support webs 29 on the holding part 16 of the intermediate base 5 in the manner of a self-tapping thread. Thereafter, the assembly of the intermediate base 5 and the inner cap 4 is unscrewed, with the tamper-evident ring 11 tearing off the inner cap 8 and signaling that the bottle has been opened for the first time.
- the outer cap 6 with the dosing insert 7 seated therein is screwed onto the external thread 9 of the bottle neck 1 .
- the dosing insert 7 penetrates into the outlet opening 28 of the bottle neck 1 and is held there with the aid of its fixing collar 27 with a friction fit.
- the mounting pin 24, which also serves as a sealing plug for the dosing spout 25, withdraws from it. Since the frictional connection between the mounting pin 24 and the dosing spout 25 is set less than that between the fixing collar 27 and the bottle neck 1, the dosing insert 7 remains reliably seated in the bottle neck 1.

The invention relates to a dosing closure device for bottles, in particular for storing and dispensing liquid pharmaceuticals, having the features specified in the preamble of
Dosing closure devices for bottles and cap closures which can be used therein and have an inner cap with a mounting element for attachment to the bottle neck are known in many designs. The inner cap serves as an assembly part with which the cap closure closes the neck of a bottle—at least after the initial filling—on the distribution channel and until it is first opened.
On the one hand, the above construction is relatively complex, since a reliable displacement mechanism between the inner and outer cap has to be implemented. In addition, the hinged lid used in this prior art is undesirable for many applications because of the risk of an unreliable closure. Furthermore, this previously known dosing closure device has the disadvantage that the sealing disk is only punctured by the dosing insert, so that the remains of the sealing disk can lead to blocking of the outflow opening of the dosing insert, for example.

- eine darauf lösbar befestigte Außenkappe mit einem Montageelement zur Befestigung am Flaschenhals, sowiean outer cap releasably attached thereto with a mounting element for attachment to the bottle neck, and
As can be seen, the dosing closure device is based on individual components of the cap closure which cannot be slid relative to one another but are detachably attached to one another and can be used in a targeted manner during the individual phases of use of the dosing closure device according to their respective function. On the one hand, the inner cap serves to reliably close the bottle after filling and on the distribution channel. A sealing disk can improve the sealing effect and a tamper-evident ring can ensure consumer safety in the usual way. Furthermore, the inner cap serves as a holder for an intermediate base that is detachably fastened thereon and acts as an adapter for the intermediate storage of the outer cap with dosing insert after filling and during the distribution of the bottle. To use the closure device for the first time, it is sufficient to remove the intermediate base from the inner cap and open the latter.
The inner cap is then no longer required. The outer cap with the dosing insert is then removed from the intermediate base and inserted into the neck of the bottle. The intermediate base can then also be disposed of.
By screwing the outer cap onto the bottle neck, the dosing insert is brought into position in the outlet opening of the bottle neck, where it remains permanently engaged. Each time the dosing closure device is used, only the outer cap needs to be removed and the contents of the bottle can be dispensed drop by drop with the help of the dosing insert in the usual way for the user.
The object of the present invention relates to the shape of the one-piece intermediate base, which should be particularly adapted to the different functionalities and in particular should offer a compact, optically tidy appearance with a reliable assembly connection between the inner cap and intermediate base. To solve this problem, according to the characterizing part of
Preferred developments of the subject matter of the invention are reproduced in the dependent claims. As already mentioned, the Inner cap have a sealing washer inserted therein and/or a tamper-evident ring. In addition, it is possible to form the inner cap and accordingly also the outer cap as screw caps with an internal thread as a mounting element on the bottle neck.
A structurally simple, yet reliable, detachable attachment between the inner cap and the intermediate base can be implemented by latching with the aid of an annular projection on the base part of the intermediate base and an annular shoulder on the outside of the inner cap.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the holding part of the intermediate base is provided with support webs running longitudinally and axially, distributed over its circumference, on which the outer cap is detachably fixed with frictional engagement. The latter can thus be easily pulled off the intermediate base or unscrewed, with the internal thread of the outer cap behaving more or less like a self-tapping thread with respect to the support webs.
A further development of the invention relates to the mounting of the dosing insert on the outer cap with the aid of an inside mounting pin on the outer cap, on which the dosing insert is held with a central dosing spout, preferably with a friction fit, before the first use of the dosing closure device.
A fixation based on friction can also be provided for the positional engagement of the dosing insert in the outlet opening of the bottle neck, in that a fixing collar on the dosing insert engages in the outlet opening with frictional engagement.
The
The
The
To open a bottle made up in this way for the first time, the
For further use, the
