Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cleaning device, comprising a base body, a suction device with a suction opening and a suction channel, and a brush arrangement with a rotatable brush roller, the suction opening and the brush roller being arranged in the base body in such a way that they face the floor to be cleaned, the Suction opening has a first wall facing the front edge of the base body and a second wall facing the brush roller, with the brush roller being designed to loosen dirt from the floor to be cleaned, with a device for wetting the floor to be cleaned with liquid also being provided, which of the Brush roller is assigned.
  • Such a cleaning device is from CN 205126117 U known.
  • the cleaning device enables a combined dry and damp cleaning.
  • UK 2 427 351 shows a cleaning device equipped with a pivotable lip.
  • EP 2 721 988 A2 and DE 20 2013 103 961 U1 show cleaning devices for wet cleaning of floor surfaces.
  • U.S. 3,699,607 shows a suction device equipped with a brush roller.
  • the suction opening When the cleaning device is moved in one direction, the suction opening first comes into contact with the dirt lying on the floor to be cleaned. Particulate and dusty dirt is conveyed through the suction opening and the suction channel into a dirt container. At the same time, the floor to be cleaned is wetted by means of the device with a cleaning liquid which adheres to the floor dissolves dirt. This dirt is then removed from the floor to be cleaned by the brush roller.
  • the suction opening is delimited along the longitudinal edge by two lips which protrude in the direction of the floor to be cleaned.
  • the lips are required to maintain the necessary suction pressure to suck up particulate and liquid contaminants.
  • the disadvantage of this configuration is that the cross-sectional width of the suction opening is limited and, as a result, larger particles cannot be picked up by the suction opening.
  • the sealing lip assigned to the front side continues to push parts of the particulate contamination in front of it as it moves forward, like a blade on a snow plough, so that it does not get into the suction channel. Furthermore, the sealing lip assigned to the brush roller can push part of the liquid to be absorbed in front of it, so that this cannot get into the suction channel in the reverse movement either.
  • the invention is based on the object of providing a cleaning appliance which enables particulate and moist soiling to be picked up better.
  • a lip is pivotably assigned to the suction opening, which lip rests alternately on the first wall or the second wall of the suction opening.
  • the alternate application of the lip to the first wall or the second wall is preferably carried out depending on the direction of movement of the cleaning device. If the cleaning device is moved in one direction, e.g. forwards, the lip rests against the second wall facing the brush roller, so that a gap opens along the front edge in the area of the first wall, through which dirt, in particular particulate dirt, can be drawn in via the suction opening in enters the suction channel.
  • the lip When moving in the opposite direction, for example backwards, the lip rests against the first wall, so that a gap opens in the area of the second wall, through which the dirt loosened by the brush roller and the liquid applied by the device get into the suction channel .
  • the arrangement requires only a single lip.
  • the lip acts as a pull-off lip and pushes the liquid in front of it so that it is picked up by the suction opening.
  • the lip is provided with at least one opening.
  • the lip can be arranged in the suction channel in such a way that it is arranged between the suction channel and the suction opening.
  • the opening can be in the form of a slit or in the form of several round or angular openings. If the lip rests against the first wall, there is no air flow through the at least one opening.
  • the lip preferably rests on the floor to be cleaned. This ensures that the lip can pivot depending on the direction of movement of the cleaning device. Furthermore, the suction capacity of the suction opening in particular improves.
  • the lip may be shaped as a rocker arm and pivotally mounted in the body.
  • the lip can have a thickening along a longitudinal edge, which is arranged in a congruent recess of the base body.
  • a V-shaped slot through which the lip protrudes can be associated with the recess. This creates an undercut which fixes the lip in the base body. The pivoting of the lip results from the V-shaped slot.
  • the lip is set at an angle when the lip is in contact with the second wall and is set perpendicular to the floor to be cleaned when the lip is in contact with the first wall.
  • the lip rests with pretension on the floor to be cleaned when the lip rests against the first wall. This increases the cleaning performance compared to liquids. If the lip rests against the second wall, the pretension is lower, so that maneuvering the cleaning device is simplified.
  • the lip may have an elastic portion.
  • the elastic section is preferably assigned to the floor to be cleaned.
  • the lip includes a rigid portion and a resilient portion.
  • the second gap delimited by the second wall and the floor to be cleaned preferably has a smaller cross-section than the second gap delimited by the first wall and the floor to be cleaned due to the smaller gap dimension.
  • the resulting narrowing of the flow cross section in the area of the second gap increases the suction pressure, which improves the pick-up of moist dirt, which usually has a higher density.
  • the first gap delimited by the first wall and the floor to be cleaned accordingly has a larger gap dimension. Due to the increased gap size, particulate contamination, especially larger particles, can be picked up better.
  • the lip may be made of injection moldable plastic, with the rigid and resilient portions being two-component injection molded and the resilient portion being a thermoplastic elastomer.
  • the rigid section consists of a dimensionally stable plastic and enables a defined function of the lip.
  • the lip can have at least one spacer, preferably a plurality of spacers, along the edge associated with the floor to be cleaned.
  • the spacers are designed and arranged on the lip in such a way that they come into contact with the floor to be cleaned during the forward movement of the cleaning device and cause a narrow gap to form between the edge of the lip assigned to the floor to be cleaned and the floor to be cleaned , on which the suction pressure acts.
  • cleaning liquid from the area of the device can also be at least partially taken up during the forward movement.
  • the device for wetting the floor to be cleaned with liquid can be designed as a drip device.
  • the device can be designed as a spray device.
  • the device is designed to apply cleaning liquid dripping or, in the case of the spray device, as a spray mist onto the floor to be cleaned. The cleaning fluid loosens stubborn dirt.
  • the device can be arranged between the brush roller and the suction opening. As a result, the cleaning liquid is applied to the floor to be cleaned in the immediate vicinity of the brush roller and the suction channel.
  • the brush roller can have a soft pile on the circumference, for example made of microfibers. Alternatively, soft or hard bristles can also be used.
  • the suction channel can be operatively connected to a suction fan.
  • the suction fan is preferably operatively connected to an electric motor. This can be supplied with electrical current via a mains connection or via an accumulator.
  • a dirt container can be arranged between the suction channel and the suction fan.
  • the dirt container is preferably arranged in the base body so that it can be removed.
  • the figures show a cleaning device 1 with a base body 2.
  • a suction device with a suction opening 3 and a suction channel 4 and a brush arrangement with a rotatable brush roller 5 are arranged.
  • the suction opening 3 and brush roller 5 are arranged in the base body 2 in such a way that they face the floor to be cleaned.
  • the suction opening 3 has a first wall 14 facing the front edge 13 of the base body 2 and a second wall 14 facing the brush roller 5 Wall 15 up. There is a first gap between the edge of the first wall 14 facing the floor to be cleaned and the floor to be cleaned. There is a second gap between the edge of the second wall 15 facing the floor to be cleaned and the floor to be cleaned. The gap dimension, the clearance between the edge and the floor, is larger in the first gap than in the second gap.
  • the first wall 14 and the second wall 15 extend across the main body 2 and delimit the essentially rectangular suction opening 3.
  • the brush roller 5 is designed to loosen dirt from the floor to be cleaned.
  • the brush roller 5 has a soft pile of microfibers.
  • the base body 2 is also assigned a device 6 for wetting the floor to be cleaned with liquid.
  • the device 6 is arranged between the brush roller 5 and the suction opening 3 . During the cleaning process, a cleaning liquid drips from the device 6 onto the floor to be cleaned, which dissolves firmly adhering dirt. The loosened dirt is finally removed from the floor to be cleaned by the brush roller 5 and finally reaches the suction channel 4.
  • the device 6 is assigned to the brush roller 5.
  • the suction opening 3 is associated with a pivotable lip 7 which alternately rests against the first wall 14 or the second wall 15 .
  • the lip 7 rests on the floor to be cleaned and is shaped as a rocker arm and fixed in the base body 2 such that it can pivot.
  • the lip 7 has a circular thickening 10 along a longitudinal edge, which is arranged in a congruently shaped recess 11 of the base body 2 .
  • the recess 11 opens into a V-shaped slot 12 through which the lip 7 protrudes.
  • the V-shaped slot 12 provides the rotational mobility of the lip 7 before.
  • the lip 7 is essentially rectangular and has an elastically designed section 9 which is assigned to the floor to be cleaned. If the lip 7 rests against the first wall 14, the lip is aligned perpendicular to the floor to be cleaned and rests on the floor to be cleaned with elastic pretension. If the lip 7 rests against the second wall 15, the lip is oriented obliquely to the floor to be cleaned, so that the prestress on the floor to be cleaned is low.
  • the lip 7 is also provided with an essentially rectangular opening 8 .
  • the suction channel 4 is operatively connected to a suction fan.
  • the suction fan in turn, is driven by an electric motor.
  • the electric motor can be supplied with electrical energy by an accumulator or by a mains connection.
  • a dirt container which is provided in the base body 2 in a removable manner, is arranged between the suction channel 4 and the suction fan.
  • FIG. 1 shows the cleaning device 1, which is guided in the direction of the front edge 13 over the floor to be cleaned.
  • This direction of movement can be understood as a forward movement.
  • the lip 7 tilts and rests against the second wall 15 of the base body 2 in this way.
  • a flow-conducting connection of the suction opening 3 and the suction channel 4 takes place in this position through the opening 8 of the lip 7 .
  • the cleaning liquid which is applied to the floor to be cleaned by the device 6 during this movement, comes into contact with the brush roller 5 after a short exposure time. Firmly adhering dirt is then loosened by the brush roller 5 .
  • the suction opening 3 picks up particulate dirt and conveys it through the suction channel 4 into the dirt container.
  • FIG 2 shows the cleaning device 1 in a direction of movement in the direction of the brush roller 5.
  • This direction of movement can be understood as a backward movement.
  • the lip 7 tilts against the first wall 14 of the Base body 2.
  • the lip blocks the first gap between the first wall 14 and the floor to be cleaned.
  • the lip 7 pushes dirt, which has been loosened by the brush roller 5 , and liquid in front of it during the backward movement, so that both get into the suction channel 4 .
  • a handle for guiding the cleaning device 1 can be assigned to the base body 2 .
  • the cleaning device 1 is designed as a cleaning robot.
  • FIG. 3 shows the lip 7 in front view.
  • the opening 8, which is introduced into the lip 7, can be seen.
  • FIG figure 4 shows the cleaning device 1 according to FIG figure 1 .
  • the lip 7 is designed alternatively and has a plurality of spacers 16 along the edge associated with the floor to be cleaned.
  • the spacers 16 come into contact with the floor to be cleaned and cause a narrow gap to form between the edge of the lip 7 assigned to the floor to be cleaned and the floor to be cleaned, on which the suction pressure acts.
  • cleaning liquid can also be at least partially absorbed during the forward movement.
  • FIG figure 5 shows the cleaning device 1 with an alternatively designed lip 7 in the reverse movement analogously to FIG figure 2 .
  • the edge of the lip 7 associated with the floor to be cleaned lies linearly on the floor to be cleaned.
  • the spacers 16, on the other hand, are not in contact with the floor to be cleaned.
  • FIG 6 shows the alternatively configured lip 7 in a front view.
  • the opening 8, which is introduced into the lip 7, can be seen.
  • the spacers 16 can be seen, which are arranged along the edge of the lip 7 assigned to the floor to be cleaned.
  • the spacers 16 are made of the same material and in one piece with the lip 7 and are in the form of bumps.
