Description

The invention relates to a method and a device for the automatic transport of weaving harness elements such as slats and healds. Such devices have become known, for example, as components of a mobile crockery trolley of drawing-in machines. The present invention is preferably concerned with the transport of slats for a warp stop motion. In this respect, lamellae are preferably meant when we talk about weaving harness elements, but strands are not excluded. A drawing-in machine is understood to mean a machine for drawing (warp) threads into weaving harness elements, which can be divided into various functional units and has corresponding (partial) devices. These are, for example, devices for preparing strands and lamellae into which the threads are to be drawn. In these devices for providing the weaving harness elements are suspended adjacent to one another on rail-like guides, as is generally also customary, for example, in their sale or in weaving. Furthermore, a device for holding a reed is required "on the input side". A drawing-in machine has a drawing-in device as the central device, which guides threads, for example, through reed, heald, slat and through components of a crosshair. The drawn-in lamellas and strands must be removed from the vicinity of the drawing-in device on the "dismantling side" in order to prevent a backwater. In the pulling-in device, strands and lamellas are mainly transported quickly over short distances in order to achieve a high cycle rate when pulling in. Once the weaving harness elements have been drawn in, they must be pushed over predominantly long rail-like guides. This removal takes place at a predominantly slow speed, although relatively large distances have to be covered for the weaving harness elements. This is typically 2 to 3 m, but sometimes up to 6 m are required. Lamellas and strands often have to be transported away in parallel in devices arranged next to one another on the "dismantling side". These transport tasks are at least not applicable to all types of weaving harness elements (such as slats and healds). solved satisfactorily automatically. An operator of the drawing-in machine often has to push weaving harness elements over the rails by hand.

Der aufwändige Aufbau oberhalb der Schienen, auf denen die Lamellen hängen, eignet sich nicht für einen Weitertransport der Lamellen über den weiteren Verlauf der Lamellentragschienen, so dass die Lamellen von Zeit zu Zeit von Hand weitergeschoben werden müssen.the DE688493C1 discloses a necking machine in which individual slats are transported from a compartment unit to a necking unit and finally a short distance away from that necking unit by entrainment rods which engage the upper end of the slats suspended on a rail. The complex structure above the rails on which the slats hang is not suitable for further transport of the slats over the further course of the slat support rails, so that the slats have to be pushed further by hand from time to time.

Außerdem ist der Transport mittels der Gewindespindel nicht zuverlässig und zudem verschleißbehaftet, so dass auch die Lamellen in ihrer Qualität beeinträchtigt werden können.the EP496232A1 discloses a drawing-in machine in which slats can be transported and distributed over the entire length of a slat support rail by a rotating threaded spindle. However, driving the threaded spindle requires a large number of additional parts, which make the entire device more expensive and make it difficult to handle. In addition, transport by means of the threaded spindle is not reliable and is also subject to wear, so that the quality of the slats can also be impaired.

Proceeding from this state of the art, it is the object of the present invention to specify a method and a device for the automatic transport of weaving harness elements over rails extending in a longitudinal direction, which can be carried out reliably and yet inexpensively and transports the weaving harness elements gently.

The method according to the invention for the automated transport of weaving harness elements comprises the provision of a device which has at least one rail and at least one rail carrier. The at least one rail carrier bears the weight of the at least one rail, on which weaving harness elements can be arranged so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the rail. The method according to the invention is characterized by the displacement of the at least one rail carrier in the longitudinal direction of the rail relative to the at least one rail in order to be able to displace weaving harness elements arranged on the rail along the longitudinal direction of the rail. The transport of the weaving harness elements along the rails is effected by rail carriers, which grip and support the rails from below and at the same time have large contact points for slats. By shifting the Rail carriers are also simultaneously shifted and transported the slats on the rails.

The combination of two different functions, namely supporting and transporting, on the rail supports eliminates the need for additional components that increase the cost of the device and its susceptibility to errors. In addition, the slats can be transported carefully thanks to the large-area contact with the rail supports and their quality is not impaired.

The rail supports can be shifted intermittently. In particular, the rail supports can only be moved when no new weaving harness elements are being lined up at one end of the rail that is assigned to the drawing-in device. This avoids collisions between the rail supports and the weaving harness elements. A large number of weaving harness elements can thus be transported between two rail carriers in each case.

At least one rail support can be displaced from one end of the at least one rail to the other end of the at least one rail in its longitudinal direction. This allows the weaving harness elements to be slid along the entire length of the rail and evenly distributed as needed. In particular, a rail carrier, which is the first of the rail carriers to come into contact with the weaving harness elements at the end of the rail that is assigned to the drawing-in device, can be intermittently shifted to the end of the rail that is remote from the drawing-in device, and thus transport the harness elements drawn in first over the entire length of the rail.

The device according to the invention for the automated transport of weaving harness elements has at least one rail on which weaving harness elements can be arranged so that they can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the rail. Furthermore, the device has at least one rail support, which is arranged in such a way that it can carry the weight of the at least one rail. The device according to the invention is characterized by rail supports as defined in claim 1. These rail supports can embrace and support the rails from below and at the same time have large contact points for slats hanging on the rails.

The combination of two different functions on the rail supports eliminates the need for additional components that increase the cost of the device and its susceptibility to errors raise. In addition, the slats are transported gently by the large-area contact with the rail supports and are therefore not impaired in their quality.

The at least one rail can be secured against shifting in the longitudinal direction. The at least one rail is preferably secured against its longitudinal displacement, for example clamped, at its end which is arranged remotely from the drawing-in device. The rail may also be supported at this end other than by a slidable rail support, for example by a fixed rail support. Due to the movement of the rail supports, which support the rails, relative to the rails, the rails will always experience a force that wants to carry the rails along with the rail supports. These forces can be dissipated at the end of the rail remote from the pull-in device, for example by a fixed rail support.

The at least one rail support can have at least one groove for receiving the at least one rail. The groove can be used to secure the rails against lateral tilting. The groove can preferably accommodate the entire rail. Thus, the largest possible contact surface can be provided between the rail support and a weaving harness element hanging on the rail.

The at least one rail carrier can comprise contact surfaces which are arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the at least one rail in order to be able to displace weaving harness elements arranged on the rail in the longitudinal direction of the at least one rail. At least the contact surfaces of the rail supports can advantageously include or consist of plastic. The plastic can reduce friction.

The at least one rail carrier can have a device for arranging an element for the parallel, automated transport of weaving harness elements of a different type. For example, the rail supports can have a receptacle at their upper end into which a rod-shaped element, for example, can be inserted. A rod introduced in this way can engage in a laterally adjacent device in which weaving harness elements of a different type, for example healds, are suspended. This means, for example, that strands can be transported parallel to slats. A device for receiving a rod-shaped element and a rod can be set up in such a way that they can be joined manually, for example by clipping or similar detachable connections. The device on the rail support can advantageously be made of plastic.

The at least one rail support can advantageously be constructed in several parts. An upper part of the at least one rail support can then be removable. For example, the upper part can be removable at the top. For example, the upper part can be held magnetically to the rail support so that it can be removed by hand without tools being required. This embodiment can be advantageous in particular for dismantling after entry has taken place, as will be explained later.

The at least one rail carrier can have at least one groove for receiving a contact rail in a lower part. With this design, dismantling can advantageously take place as follows: When all weaving harness elements have been drawn in and transported over the rails, the (toothed) contact rails for a warp stop motion can be pushed into the grooves of the lower parts of the rail supports. Then the rails on which the harness elements are hanging can be pulled out so that the harness elements are now hanging on the contact rail. Finally, after the tops of the rail supports have been removed, the weaving harness elements can be removed and installed in a warp stop motion.

The at least one rail support can be arranged to be displaceable over the entire length of the rail. In particular, the at least one rail support can be arranged on at least one endlessly revolving element. The endless element can be a belt, a chain or the like. The rotating element can extend below the rails over their entire length. In addition, a means for driving the endless element can be arranged, for example an electric motor.

The invention also includes a mobile carriage that has a device according to the invention. In this way, the drawn-in weaving harness elements can be quickly removed from the working area of a drawing-in machine and a correspondingly prepared carriage can be coupled to a drawing-in machine in order to keep the downtime of a drawing-in machine to a minimum.

The invention also includes a drawing-in machine with a device according to the invention, which can be arranged on a mobile carriage.
1
figure 1 shows a symbolic, partially oblique view of essential components of the device according to the invention.

For the sake of clarity, only that part of the device 1 is shown which adjoins a retraction device (not shown). The device 1 comprises two parallel endless elements 10 in the form of belts. These are each connected again at the end of the device 1 (not shown), so that two circulating endless belts 10 are present. Two rail supports 2 are shown, the rail support 2 shown on the right not yet being in engagement with the rail 3 shown. In this state, slats (not shown) can repeatedly be applied to the rail 3 from the right via the slope 12 at the end of the rail 3 . When a predetermined number of lamellas has been applied, the belts 10 can be driven so that the rail supports 2 are displaced to the left in the longitudinal direction 4. The rail support 2 shown on the right then pivots with one of its grooves 5 in its upper part 7 under and around the rail 3 and can thus transport the slats hanging on the rail 3 to the left in the longitudinal direction 4 . The rail supports 2 offer the slats relatively large contact surfaces 11, so that the slats are transported reliably and without damage. The rail supports 2 have a lower part 8 with grooves 9 into which contact rails for warp stop motion can be inserted below the rail 3. In addition, the rail supports 2 have at their upper end two devices 6 in the form of half-shells into which a suitable rod (not shown) can be clipped. Thus, strands that are not shown and that can be arranged in a device that is not shown next to the device according to the invention can be transported in parallel and automatically with the slats when an operator clips in the corresponding rod.
