Description

The invention relates to a tunnel luminaire according to the preamble of claim 1.

Tunnel lights for illuminating tunnel systems are well known. The term tunnel luminaire is understood here to mean a lighting device with at least one lamp (lighting means) and further technical components such as a luminaire housing, electrical cables, fastening elements, etc.

Such tunnel lights are usually arranged on the tunnel ceiling or on the tunnel walls. To illuminate the single-lane or multi-lane tunnel carriageway, several such tunnel lights are preferably provided along the tunnel carriageway to be illuminated.

In the recent past, lighting means formed by a large number of light-emitting diodes or LEDs ("Light Emitting Diodes") have increasingly been used in tunnel lights. These require less maintenance and, compared to alternative light sources, also have a lower energy consumption. From the DE 10 2010 045 297 A1 Tunnel lights are already known in which light-emitting diodes or so-called LEDs ("Light Emitting Diodes") are used as illuminants. In the luminaire housing, a multi-part luminaire module is provided which has a plurality of light-emitting diodes and which has at least one strip-like printed circuit board that each accommodates a row of light-emitting diodes. The strip-shaped boards accommodating the row of LEDs are connected to the lamp housing in a thermally conductive manner via an elongated support body and a retaining profile. The elongated support part forms an upper cooling body and the at least one retaining profile forms a lower cooling body. Disadvantageously, when using a closed lamp housing and light-emitting diodes with high optical performance, such a cooling arrangement does not have sufficient cooling performance.

An example of a tunnel luminaire using LEDs is given by EP 2 112 428 A1 on, whereby free-form lenses are assigned to the LEDs. Also the CN 2053722995 U discloses an LED tunnel light with a lens assembly. LED lights are also known from the prior art, for example describes the DE 20 2013 000 999 U1 an LED light for low-use rooms that is only activated when required.

Tunnel lights with lighting means formed by a large number of light-emitting diodes have also become known, in which neither the lighting means nor the associated control means, in particular control electronics, are disadvantageous in the event of a defect or age-related Wear are interchangeable. Such tunnel lights, including the light housing, are completely replaced by new tunnel lights.

Based on this, the object of the invention is to show a tunnel luminaire with improved thermal behavior, which eliminates the problems mentioned and also enables simple maintenance of the tunnel luminaire, in particular a simple, preferably tool-free replacement of defective lighting means and / or the associated control means. The object is achieved on the basis of a tunnel luminaire according to the features of the preamble of claim 1 by its characterizing features.

An essential aspect of the tunnel luminaire according to the invention can be seen in the fact that at least one flat, plate-shaped carrier module extending along the longitudinal axis with an upper and lower side in the interior of the housing is interchangeably accommodated in the luminaire housing, that on its upper side facing the housing cover the illuminants in the form of Light-emitting diodes are arranged and thermally conductively connected to the carrier module for cooling purposes, and at least one lens system for beam shaping is assigned to the lighting means. The carrier module is designed in several parts and has at least one first carrier module part with an upper and lower side and a second carrier module part with an upper and lower side. The lighting means are arranged on the upper side of the first carrier module part and the at least one control unit is arranged on the lower side of the second carrier module part. The carrier module parts are thermally conductive and interchangeably connected to the luminaire housing via at least two U-shaped retaining profiles, the U-shaped retaining profiles being arranged displaceably on a housing base section so that a distance between the U-shaped retaining profiles can be set. The first carrier module part, including the lighting means and the at least one lens system, forms an exchangeable assembly and the second carrier module part forms an exchangeable assembly with the control unit.

Although not covered by the invention, it is conceivable that the carrier module forms a one-piece, plate-shaped heat sink which, when a single row of LEDs is provided, ensures adequate cooling of the LEDs within the housing; the connection to the luminaire housing is essentially used for exchangeable attachment of the carrier module in the luminaire housing. With the exception of support-like retaining elements, the carrier module can be arranged in the interior thereof, essentially thermally separated from the luminaire housing, so that there is no direct heat transfer from the carrier module to the luminaire housing.

The simple, modular structure of the carrier module also enables the entire carrier module to be replaced quickly in the event of a fault or wear individual components thereof. To increase the cooling capacity, the carrier module is preferably arranged at a distance from the housing base and from the housing cover inside the housing interior.

According to the invention, the carrier module including the lighting means and the at least one lens system forms an exchangeable assembly, i.e. this assembly can be exchanged quickly and easily by appropriate maintenance personnel in the event of a fault or for maintenance purposes. In addition, if the lamp is damaged or after its service life has expired, it is not necessary to completely dispose of the tunnel luminaire in isolation, i.e. including the luminaire housing made of high-quality materials, but rather a further use of the luminaire housing, including the components installed in it, which conserves resources.

The housing cover is also advantageously detachably connected to the lamp housing and can be removed without tools. This also ensures quick and easy access to possibly defective lighting means or the carrier module.

Furthermore, the flat, plate-shaped carrier module extending along the longitudinal axis is produced in an advantageous embodiment from aluminum or an aluminum alloy and / or is designed in the form of a carrier profile plate. A high cooling capacity could be achieved in the variant of the embodiment described. The production of the carrier module in the form of a profile plate element made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy can also be realized with less manufacturing effort.

The housing cover is also advantageously made of a transparent material, preferably glass or a transparent plastic material, whereas the lamp housing is made of metal, preferably steel or stainless steel and / or that the housing cover is connected to the lamp housing via a circumferential single or double seal. The tunnel luminaire thus particularly advantageously has a closed, externally sealed housing made of steel or stainless steel.

The lighting means are preferably formed by a plurality of light-emitting diode modules which are each connected to the control unit and in a thermally conductive manner to the top of the carrier module.

The at least one lens system is also advantageously designed for symmetrical or asymmetrical beam shaping. This ensures an optimal light output of the Light radiation generated by the light emitting diode modules and subsequent bundling and / or focusing thereof is achieved.

According to the invention, the at least one control unit is arranged on the underside of the plate-shaped carrier module and thus forms an exchangeable assembly, i.e. it can be exchanged quickly and easily.

According to the invention, the carrier module is designed in several parts. The carrier module can, for example, have at least a first carrier module part with an upper and lower side and a second carrier module part with an upper and lower side, the lighting means being arranged on the upper side of the first carrier module part and the at least one control unit being arranged on the lower side of the second carrier module part. A separate exchange of lighting and control means, in particular control unit and further connection means, is thus possible in a particularly advantageous manner.

According to the invention, the carrier module or the carrier module parts can be connected to the luminaire housing in a thermally conductive and exchangeable manner via at least two U-shaped retaining profiles. The U-shaped holding profiles are provided displaceably in the luminaire housing, so that simple maintenance of components arranged between the U-shaped holding profiles and / or received by them is possible. The control unit can also be received by one of the U-shaped retaining profiles and connected to it in a thermally conductive manner. The combination of the carrier module, which is designed as an exchangeable assembly, together with the light source and lens system and the thermally conductive connection of the carrier module via the U-shaped retaining profiles to the luminaire housing also ensures effective thermal management.

Vorteilhaft ist die Tunnelleuchte als Langfeldleuchte ausgebildet. The tunnel luminaire is advantageously designed as a linear luminaire.

The lamp housing can also have an integrated pressure compensation system.

An exchange of moisture between the interior of the luminaire and the environment is particularly advantageous, and the service life of the light-emitting diode modules and possibly other electronic components is noticeably increased.

A separate switch disconnector unit can also advantageously be accommodated in the luminaire housing so that the tunnel luminaire can be disconnected from the energy supply before inspection and maintenance work is carried out. This not only results in improved protection for the maintenance personnel, but also enables individual assemblies to be exchanged without problems. The switch-disconnector unit is preferably equipped with a backup fuse, which creates an additional fuse Protection of the electronic parts and components installed in the tunnel luminaire is achieved.

The terms “approximately”, “essentially” or “approximately” mean deviations from the exact value in each case by +/- 10%, preferably by +/- 5% and / or deviations in the form of changes that are insignificant for the function .

In Figure 1 is an example of a perspective view of a tunnel luminaire 1 not included in the invention, which is preferably designed in the form of a linear luminaire.

The tunnel luminaire or linear luminaire 1 extends along a longitudinal axis LA and has a preferably elongated luminaire housing 2 and an at least partially transparent housing cover 3 which can be detachably connected to the luminaire housing 2 and which, when connected to the luminaire housing 2, encloses a housing interior 4. When designed as a linear luminaire, the elongated luminaire housing 2 has a bar-like box shape. In the Figures 1 and 2 is shown by way of example a perspective side view and an exploded view of a tunnel lamp 1 according to the invention.

Such a tunnel luminaire 1 is used to illuminate a tunnel and is attached accordingly to the tunnel ceiling or to the side walls of the tunnel. A plurality of tunnel lights 1 arranged in parallel and / or in series one behind the other can also be provided in a tunnel, which are switched and / or controlled jointly or in groups via a central control unit not shown in the figures.

The elongated lamp housing 2 is preferably made of metal, for example steel or stainless steel, and is designed in one piece. Furthermore, the elongated luminaire housing 2 has, for example, a rectangular housing base section 2.1, two opposite, likewise rectangular side wall sections 2.2, 2.3 and two opposite, also rectangular end wall sections 2.4, 2.5, the side wall sections 2.2, 2.3 being parallel and the end wall sections 2.4, 2.5 being perpendicular to Extend longitudinal axis LA. This creates a preferably rectangular housing opening 2.6 opposite the housing bottom section 2.1, which can preferably be completely closed by means of the housing cover 3. The end wall sections 2.4, 2.5 can, for example, have cable bushings or screwed cable connections 15, via which connecting cables can be fed into the housing interior 4 from the outside. Furthermore, strain relief is possible through the use of screwed cable glands 15.

The housing cover 3 is made at least in sections from a transparent material, for example from glass or a transparent plastic material. In the present exemplary embodiment, the housing cover 3 is formed, for example, by a rectangular glass plate.

The housing cover 3 can be detachably connected to the luminaire housing 2 and can thus be removed again from the luminaire housing 2. For this purpose, several fastening devices 5, 5 ', 5 "are provided on the housing cover 3 and associated fastening devices 6, 6', 6" on the luminaire housing 2 that interact with them and via which a detachable, preferably clamping connection can be established. In one embodiment variant, for example, the housing cover 3 can be exchanged without tools.

The housing cover 3 is connected to the light housing 2, for example, with a circumferential single or double seal, so that a tunnel light 1 is created with a housing interior 4 sealed off from the outside.

For the assembly of the lamp housing 2, a plurality of holders 7, 7 'are preferably provided, which are designed, for example, in the form of bracket elements made from a metallic flat material. Preferably, two brackets 7, 7 'are provided for frontal mounting of the lamp housing 2 on the tunnel ceiling or the tunnel wall.

Leuchtdioden aufgenommen.A plurality of lighting means 8 in the form of light emitting diodes and at least one associated control unit 9 connected to the lighting means 8 for controlling the lighting means 8 or light emitting diodes are accommodated in the housing interior 4.

At least one flat, plate-shaped carrier module 10 extending along the longitudinal axis LA with a top and bottom 10.1, 10.2 is exchangeably accommodated in the housing interior 4, on whose top 10.1 facing the housing cover 3 the illuminants 8 are arranged in the form of light-emitting diodes and with for cooling purposes the carrier module 10 are connected in a thermally conductive manner, the lighting means 8 being assigned at least one lens system 12 for beam shaping. In the variant according to the Figures 1 to 7 the at least one control unit 9 is arranged on the underside 10.2 of the carrier module 10. The carrier module 10 is preferably designed in the form of a carrier profile plate.

To mount the carrier module 10 in the lamp housing 2, this has, for example, the Figures 2 to 6 visible flange sections, via the, for example, in the Figures not shown holding elements, in particular bracket elements a connection to the lamp housing is made without (noticeable) thermally conductive contact. The heat was thus given off essentially only to the air in the interior of the housing 4 and not through a thermally conductive, flat material connection between the carrier module 10 and the luminaire housing 2 or its wall sections. There is thus an “indirect” thermally conductive connection between the carrier module 10 and the luminaire housing 2.

The control unit 9 is also preferably connected to the carrier module 10, specifically its underside 10.2, in a thermally conductive manner. The carrier module 10 according to the invention ensures that all lighting means 8, preferably including the associated control unit 9, are cooled via a one-piece metal carrier element.

The control unit 9 is, for example, connected to a connector 11 in order to ensure that the carrier module 10, including components mounted thereon, can be exchanged easily. The connector 11 can be designed, for example, as a three or five-pole connector. The connecting plug 11 is preferably mounted directly adjacent to the control unit 9 on the carrier module 10, for example on its underside 10.2.

The carrier module 10 is accommodated in an exchangeable manner in the interior of the housing 4, specifically detachably mounted with the luminaire housing 2. In the assembled state, the carrier module 10 is preferably arranged at the smallest possible distance from the housing cover 3 in the housing interior 4 in order to ensure an optimal light yield and heat dissipation within the luminaire housing 2.

In a preferred embodiment, the carrier module 10 is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and forms a rectangular fastening plate with the top and bottom 10.1, 10.2. In one embodiment, a leg section can protrude laterally from the rectangular mounting plate, preferably vertically, which can be used, for example, to mount the carrier module 10 in the housing 2 and / or to mount the control unit 9 and / or other components.

The carrier module 10 thus forms, together with the lighting means 8 and the at least one lens system 12, an exchangeable assembly, whereby the maintenance and / or repair of the tunnel lamp 1 itself is substantially simplified. In the event of a malfunction, the entire replaceable assembly can thus be removed from the lamp housing 2 and replaced by a new, functional assembly. The tunnel luminaire 1 is immediately ready for operation again.

The lighting means 8 in the form of light-emitting diodes or LEDs are preferably mounted on at least one printed circuit board. In a preferred embodiment, several light-emitting diodes LEDs are arranged, preferably in groups, on a printed circuit board and, together with the associated corresponding electrical connection options and electronic components required to control the light-emitting diode LED, form what is known as a light-emitting diode module.

A plurality of such light-emitting diode modules are preferably provided in a thermally conductive manner with the top 10.1 of the carrier module 10 and connected to the control unit 9. The light radiation generated by the light-emitting diodes or LEDs pass through the housing cover 3, which is transparent at least in sections, and thus generate the desired lighting effect. So-called “MID-Power” LEDs with a power consumption in the range from 75 to 150 watts and a lumen output in a range from 4475 to 16000 are preferably used.

Figure 6 shows, for example, in a perspective view an exploded view of the in the Figures 5 and 6th Carrier module 10 shown without control unit 9. In the exemplary embodiment shown, several light-emitting diode modules 8 are arranged in a row one behind the other on the upper side 10.1 of carrier module 10 or are connected to it directly and in a thermally conductive manner. Furthermore, a lens system 12 adjoins the light-emitting diode modules 8, a lens unit being assigned to each light-emitting diode module 8, for example. The lens system 12 is provided for bundling and / or focusing the light radiation generated by the light-emitting diode modules 8, specifically preferably in such a way that symmetrical or asymmetrical radiation is ensured.

Only individual components or units of the carrier module 10, for example individual light-emitting diode modules 8 and / or the control unit 9, can also be replaced.

The supply voltage and / or control signals are supplied to the lighting means 9 or light-emitting diode modules, for example, via the at least one control unit 9, which is preferably detachably connected to the latter via a plurality of connector units or connector plugs 11.

Dadurch kann die Leuchtdichte bzw. optische Leistung der Tunnelleuchte 1 wesentlich erhöht werden.the Figures 7 to 10 show an embodiment variant of a tunnel luminaire 1 according to the invention, which is also implemented in the form of a linear luminaire, but is designed to be wider than the embodiment variant described above, so that it is designed to accommodate at least two rows arranged parallel to one another Light-emitting diode modules 8 is formed. As a result, the luminance or optical performance of the tunnel luminaire 1 can be increased significantly.

The tunnel luminaire or linear luminaire 1 in turn extends along a longitudinal axis LA and has a preferably elongated luminaire housing 2 and a housing cover 3 that can be detachably connected to the luminaire housing 2 and is at least partially transparent, which in the present embodiment has a support frame and a cover disk enclosed by this. The fastening devices 5, 5 ', 5 "of the housing cover 3 are fastened, for example, to the support frame and in turn interact with the fastening devices 6, 6', 6" provided on the lamp housing 2, with the housing cover 3 being releasably or detachably attachable to the lamp housing 2.

The elongated luminaire housing 2 is in turn preferably made of metal, for example steel or stainless steel, and is designed in one piece, only the rectangular housing base section 2.1 and the rectangular end wall sections 2.4, 2.5 are widened compared to the embodiment variant described above. The preferably rectangular housing opening 2.6 opposite the housing bottom section 2.1 is also completely closed by means of the housing cover 3 and the end wall sections 2.4, 2.5 have, for example, several cable bushings 15 through which connecting cables can be fed from the outside into the housing interior 4. The screwed cable connections 15 can, however, alternatively or additionally be provided in the area of the housing base section 2.1. These are made of polyamide or stainless steel, for example.

Leuchtdioden aufgenommen.A plurality of lighting means 8 in the form of light emitting diodes and at least one associated control unit 9 connected to the lighting means 8 for controlling the lighting means 8 or light emitting diodes are accommodated in the housing interior 4.

Even with the variant according to the Figures 7 to 10 a flat, plate-shaped carrier module 10 extending along the longitudinal axis LA is provided, which, however, is constructed in several parts in the illustrated embodiment. The carrier module 10 has, for example, at least a first a first carrier module part 10a with an upper and lower side 10.1a, 10.2a and a second carrier module part 10b with an upper and lower side 10.1b, 10.2b, with 10.1a of the first carrier module part on the upper side 10.1a 10a the lamp modules 8 and on the underside 10.2b of the second carrier module part 10.2 the at least one control unit 9 is arranged. The carrier module 10 or its carrier module parts 10a, 10b are in thermally conductive contact with the luminaire housing 2 in order to provide effective thermal management, ie are over appropriately designed holding means connected to the luminaire housing 2 in a thermally conductive manner. In particular, the heat-conducting connection is designed in such a way that heat can be transferred over a large area to the luminaire housing 2 or its wall sections 2.2, 2.3.

The lamps or lamp modules 8 are in turn connected directly and thermally conductively to the top 10.1a of the first carrier module part 10a for cooling purposes, with a lens system 12 being assigned to the lamps 8 in the present embodiment, which provides a symmetrical emission of the lamps 8 or LEDs generated light radiation guaranteed.

Due to the arrangement of the control unit 9 on the underside 10.2b of the second carrier module part 10b, a separate exchange of the illuminants 8 by exchanging the first carrier module part 10a and the control unit 9 by exchanging the second carrier module part 10b is possible. The connection means or connector plugs 11, 11 'for connecting the control unit 9 to the light sources or light source modules 8 are preferably arranged on the upper side 10.1b of the second carrier module part 10b. The connection lines between the control unit 9 and the connection plug (s) 11, 11 'can be routed via at least one feed-through opening in the second carrier module part 10b.

In the variant according to the Figures 7 to 10 The detachable assembly of the carrier module 10 or its carrier module parts 10a, 10b with the lamp housing 2 takes place via at least two U-shaped retaining profiles 13, each of which has two opposing leg sections and a connecting section connecting them. The mounting of the carrier module 10 or its carrier module parts 10a, 10b in the housing interior 4 takes place in such a way that the two U-shaped retaining profiles 13 with the opened longitudinal side come to lie opposite one another within the housing interior 4, preferably along the longitudinal axis LA and in parallel run towards each other. One leg sections are releasably connected to the housing bottom section 2.1, the U-shaped retaining profiles 13 being slidably arranged on the housing bottom section 2.1 so that the distance between the two U-shaped retaining profiles 13 can be changed or adjusted.

For example, either the control unit 9 and / or possibly further components can be arranged in the space enclosed by the opposing leg sections and the connecting section. These are then accessible for maintenance purposes by simply moving the U-shaped retaining profiles 13 along the plane spanned by the housing base section 2.1. The assembly of the carrier module 10 or its carrier module parts 10a, 10b take place on the leg section opposite the housing bottom section 2.1, so that there is still a direct, heat-conducting connection to the luminaire housing 2. The connecting sections of the U-shaped holding profiles 13 run in the housing interior 4 with the smallest possible spacing, preferably parallel to the respective adjacent side wall section 2.2, 2.3, so that there is also thermal heat transfer from the U-shaped holding profile 13 to the luminaire housing 2.

The carrier module 10 or its carrier module parts 10a, 10b is also detachable and in turn designed as an exchangeable assembly with the lamp modules 8 and the associated lens system 12 and connected to the leg section of the U-shaped retaining profile 13, preferably by means of simple, manually operated screw means. The screw means can be formed, for example, by simple screws or by so-called wing screws which engage in associated threaded bores in the leg sections. A carrier module 10 or a carrier module part 10a, 10b is thus connected to both U-shaped retaining profiles 13 in a thermally conductive manner and thus enables the heat generated during operation of the lighting means 8 to be effectively transferred to the lighting housing 2.

In Figure 8 the two U-shaped retaining profiles 13 are shown by way of example. Here, the leg section of the retaining profile receiving the carrier module parts 10a, 10b is divided into two leg sub-sections, each of which has a different distance from the opposite leg section and thus from the housing bottom section 2.1. This results in a stepped transition between the two leg sub-sections. In terms of their longitudinal extension, the leg sub-sections are matched to the lengths of the first and second carrier module parts 10a, 10b, so that the first carrier module part 10a having the lighting means 8 can be positioned closer to the housing cover 3 than the second carrier module part 10b which accommodates the control means 9. It goes without saying that in the case of a one-piece design of the carrier module 10, no stepped design of the U-shaped holding profiles 13 is required.

In one embodiment of the tunnel luminaire 1, a separate switch disconnector unit can also be arranged in the interior of the housing. The switch disconnector unit can also have a backup fuse so that effective protection of the electronic components accommodated in the luminaire housing 2 is guaranteed. In addition, the tunnel lamp 1 can be disconnected from the power supply via the switch disconnector unit, so that a safe inspection and maintenance of the tunnel lamp 1 or an exchange of components or assemblies is possible.

In a preferred embodiment variant, a pressure compensation system 14 can be integrated into one of the walls of the lamp housing 2, which enables a compensation between the pressure in the housing interior 4 and the ambient pressure. In particular, this also enables the moisture to be exchanged between the housing interior 4 and the environment, as a result of which, for example, the service life of the light-emitting diode modules 8 and / or other electronic components can be significantly increased.

The control unit 9 has various connection options to a central control system, in particular a bus system. For example, DALI functions can be provided in this way or the tunnel luminaire 1 can be integrated into a light management system. A multifunctional mode of operation of the tunnel luminaire 1 is also possible as a result.
