Claims (12)

  1. A multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) which has both the function of a high chair and, upon being turned to another side, at least one of the functions selected from the group consisting of: a bouncer; a table with a bench; a staircase; a toy vehicle, wherein the multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) has two side parts (2a, 2b) and at least two connecting elements which rigidly connect said side parts (2a, 2b) in two positions, wherein at least two separate, independently adjustable elements are present between the side parts (2a, 2b), wherein each of at least two adjustable elements is independently adjustable at least between two respective positions between the side parts (2a, 2b), and the spatial orientation of the respective adjustable element in any one of the positions is different from the spatial orientation of said respective adjustable element in any other position, wherein, for these positions, the respective adjustable element undergoes a translating movement and a rotating movement to achieve the second position starting from the first position, characterised in that, for at least one and preferably for at least two adjustable elements, two respective guide tracks (11, 12, 13, 14) are present in each side part (2a, 2b), wherein the respective adjustable element has one pair of guiding elements (16, 17) on each of two opposite sides, wherein each guiding element (16, 17) protrudes into a respective one of the guides (11, 12, 13, 14).
  2. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of claim 1, characterised in that one of the rigid elements is formed as the high chair backrest (3) and the first one of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a first plate (5) and, in a first position when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair seating surface and, in a second position when the piece is used in at least one other way, forms an element selected from the group consisting of a seating surface when it is used as a bouncer; a seating surface when it is used as a table or toy vehicle; a lower stair when it is used as a staircase, wherein a translating movement and a rotating movement are required to achieve the second position starting from the first position.
  3. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that each side part (2) is formed from a plate with three arms, each arm having a bevelled or rounded end region (7, 8, 9), wherein the multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) stands on two end regions (7, 8) when used as a high chair and, starting from one of said end regions (7, 8), the edge of the plate describes an arc towards the third end region (9), wherein the arc faces outside from the centre of the plate and forms a bouncer runner (10) when the piece is used as a bouncer.
  4. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of claim 3, characterised in that the first of the at least two connecting elements is formed as the high chair backrest (3) and is located in end region (9); and the second of the at least two connecting elements is formed as a rod (4) and is located in end region (8), which is present on the arm which does not form part of the bouncer runner (10).
  5. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that each side part (2) is formed from a plate with three arms, each arm having a bevelled or rounded end region (7, 8, 9), wherein the multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) stands on two end regions (7, 8) when used as a high chair and, starting from one of said end regions (7, 8), the edge of the plate describes an arc towards the third end region (9), wherein the arc faces inside towards the centre of the plate and lies facing the ground when the piece is used as a table with a bench and/or as a staircase.
  6. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the first of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a first plate (5) and, when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair seating surface and also, when the piece is used in at least one other way, forms an element selected from the group consisting of a seating surface when it is used as a bouncer; a seating surface when it is used as a table; a lower stair when it is used as a staircase.
  7. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the second of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a second plate (6) and, when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair foot support surface and also, when the piece is used in at least one other way, forms an element selected from the group consisting of a foot support surface when it is used as a bouncer; a table surface when it is used as a table; an upper stair when it is used as a staircase.
  8. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that adjusting at least two of the adjustable elements is done by: adjusting the adjustable element along guide tracks (11, 12, 13, 14) which are present in the side parts (2).
  9. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the first of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a first plate (5), wherein the first plate (5) is guided in the guide tracks (11a, 12a) of the first side part (2a) and is guided in the guide tracks (11b, 12b) of the second side part (2b), wherein in the guide tracks (11, 12) a first position (A) is defined, in which the first plate (5) forms the seating surface of the high chair, and at least one further position (B) is defined, in which the first plate (5) forms the seating surface of the high chair, but lower than in position (A), at least one position (C) is defined, in which the first plate (5) forms the seating surface of the table, and at least one position (D) is defined, in which the first plate (5) forms the seating surface of the bouncer.
  10. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the second of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a second plate (6), wherein the second plate (6) is guided in the guide tracks (13a, 14a) of the first side part (2a) and is guided in the guide tracks (13b, 14b) of the second side part (2b), wherein in the guide tracks (13, 14) a first position (E) is defined, in which the second plate (6) forms the high chair foot support surface, and at least one further position (F) is defined, in which the second plate (6) forms the high chair foot support surface, but lower than in position (E), and at least one position (G) is defined, in which the second plate (6) forms the table surface of the table with a bench and/or the foot support surface of the bouncer.
  11. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of claim 1, characterised in that the first of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a first plate (5) and, when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair seating surface and also, when the piece is used in at least one other way, forms an element selected from the group consisting of a seating surface when it is used as a bouncer; a seating surface when it is used as a table; a lower stair when it is used as a staircase; and the second of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a second plate (6) and, when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair foot support surface and also, when the piece is used in at least one other way, forms an element selected from the group consisting of a foot support surface when it is used as a bouncer; a table surface when it is used as a table; an upper stair when it is used as a staircase.
  12. The multi-purpose piece of furniture (1) of claim 1, characterised in that one of the rigid elements is formed as the high chair backrest (3), wherein the first of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a first plate and, when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair seating surface; and the second of the at least two adjustable elements is formed as a second plate and, when the piece is used as a high chair, forms the high chair foot support surface.
