A front panel (7) for a drawer (4), the front panel (7) being formed by at least one decorative plate (10) and frame (5) for receiving the decorative plate (10), wherein the decorative plate (10) is at least partially received within the frame (5) in a mounted condition and wherein the frame (5) includes at least one locking portion (14a, 14b) for releasably locking the front panel (7) to a drawer sidewall (9), wherein at least one holding device (16a, 16b) is arranged on at least one end portion of the decorative plate (10), the at least one holding device (16a, 16b) being configured to receive the at least one end portion of the decorative plate (10), being separate from the decorative plate (10) and the frame (5) and being configured to be releasably connected to the frame (5), characterized in that the holding device (16a, 16b) includes at least two components (19, 20) configured to be displaceable relative to one another, wherein a first component (19) is configured to receive the end portion of the decorative plate (10) and a second component (20) is configured to be fixed to the frame (5), wherein the two components (19, 20) are pre-stressed relative to one another by at least one force storage member (21).

The front panel according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the frame (5) includes a longitudinally extending carrier profile (5c) having a first end portion and a second end portion, wherein a side portion (5a, 5b) is arranged or formed on the first end portion and/or on the second end portion of the carrier profile (5c), the side portion (5a, 5b) protruding upwardly from the carrier profile (5c) in a mounted position of the front panel (7) on the drawer (4), wherein it is preferably provided that the carrier profile (5c) includes at least one groove (11) for receiving a longitudinal side of the decorative plate (10), the groove (11) extending in a longitudinal direction (L) of the carrier profile (5c).
  9. The front panel according to claim 8, characterized in that the decorative plate (10), when being mounted to the frame (5), can be introduced with the lower longitudinal side into the groove (11) of the carrier profile (5c), and, after having been introduced into the groove (11), can be pivoted about an axis extending in the longitudinal direction of the decorative plate (10) and, after having been pivoted, can be locked to the frame (5) by the holding device (16a, 16b).
  10. The front panel according to claims 8 or 9, characterized in that the holding device (16a, 16b) is configured to be releasably connected to the side portion (5a, 5b) of the frame (5).
  11. The front panel according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterized in that at least one protrusion (17) having an inclined surface portion (17a, 18a) is arranged on the frame (5), preferably on the side portion (5a, 5b), the second component (20) being configured to be moved along the inclined surface portion (17a, 18a) of the protrusion (17, 18) against a force of the force storage member (21) when the decorative plate (10) is mounted to the frame (5), and, subsequently, can be locked with at least one recess (17b) formed or arranged on the frame (5) by a force of the force storage member (21).
  12. The front panel according to one of the claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the frame (5) includes at least one second locking portion (14a, 14b) for releasably locking the front panel (7) to a second drawer sidewall (9).
  13. A drawer (4) comprising a front panel (7) according to one of the claims 1 to 12.
  14. A method for assembling a front panel (7) according to one of the claims 1 to 12, characterized in that
    - in a first method step, the frame (5) is provided,
    - in a second method step, the holding device (16a, 16b) is arranged on at least one end portion, preferably on both end portions, of the decorative plate (10), and
    - in a third method step, the decorative plate (10), together with the holding device (16a, 16b), is releasably connected to the frame (5).
  15. The method according to claim 14, characterized in that the frame (5) is assembled, in the course of the first method step, by the longitudinally extending carrier profile (5c) and at least one side portion (5a, 5b).
