Claims (12)

  1. Plant for continuous pickling and/or cold-rolling of metal strips, comprising a pickling region (A) for the continuous pickling of a metal strip and a cold-rolling region (B) for the rolling of a metal strip, wherein the pickling region (A) and the cold-rolling region (B) are operable not only in coupled operation, but also in decoupled operation,

Plant for pickling and/or cold-rolling of metal strips according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the transition region (C) comprises transport means for transporting a continuous metal strip, which is pickled in the pickling region (A), into the cold-rolling region (B).

Plant for pickling and/or cold-rolling of metal strips according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the strip guide elements comprise a strip diverter (8) in the pickling region (A), the diverter being equipped in decoupled operation to conduct continuous metal strip, which is pickled in the pickling region (A), to the rolling-up device (7) of the pickling region for the rolling up.

  9. Method for pickling and/or cold-rolling of metal strips on a plant according to any one of claims 1 to 8, which on switching over from decoupled to coupled operation comprises the following steps:

  10. Method for the pickling and/or cold-rolling of metal strips according to claim 9, characterised in that prior to the step of setting the strip guide elements the coupling strip piece (21) is paced in the transition region (C).
  11. Method according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that in coupled operation the strip guide elements are set in such a way that the plant operates in coupled operation with the following steps:
    feeding the continuous metal strip to the pickling device (4) of the pickling region (A);
    pickling the continuous metal strip by the pickling device (4);
    transporting the pickled continuous metal strip into the cold-rolling region (B);
    rolling the pickled continuous metal strip by the at least one pair of work rolls (11a, 11b);
    at least partial rolling-up of the pickled and rolled continuous metal strip by the rolling-up device (13) of the cold-rolling region (B).
  12. Method for the pickling and/or cold-rolling of metal strips according to any one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that in decoupled operation the strip guide elements are set in such a way that the plant in decoupled operation operates with the following steps:
    feeding a continuous metal strip to the pickling device (4) of the pickling region (A);
    pickling the continuous metal strip by the pickling device (4);
    rolling-up of at least part of the pickled continuous metal strip by the rolling-up device (7) of the pickling region (A).
