Description

The present invention relates to a date mechanism for a timepiece comprising a display crown bearing date indications intended to be designated successively in order to be read, typically through a window or using a pointer.

The patent application EP 1 596 261 A1 describes an annual calendar mechanism for a timepiece comprising an internally toothed date display crown bearing indications intended to be read through a window. The drive of this display ring in rotation under the window is achieved on the one hand, by daily actuation of its internal teeth by a first finger of a drive member and on the other hand by the actuation every thirtieth of the month for months less than thirty-one days of a satellite carried by this crown and located on a level different from that of the internal teeth of the crown by a second finger of said drive member. The date mechanism described in this patent application has the drawback that its display crown comprises means, including on the one hand its internal teeth and on the other hand its month satellite, distinct for its rotation drive, these means located on different levels. This takes up a lot of space, especially since the satellite, integral with the display crown, pivots with it.

The European patent application EP 1 666 991 A1 describes an annual calendar mechanism for a timepiece comprising a date-driving mobile unit making one revolution in twenty-four hours, this mobile unit being equipped with a first finger driving a step and once a day a first stage of a date crown comprising thirty-one internal teeth, said mobile being equipped with a second finger driving by one step and at the end of one month less of thirty-one days, one of the five pins with which a board is fitted with an annual wheel arranged coaxially with the date crown, said mechanism further comprising a reference connecting at the end of each month, said annual wheel to a lug disposed inside a second stage of said date crown. The mechanism described in this application also has the drawback of taking up space. Indeed, as for the mechanism described in the request EP 1 596 261 A1 , its display ring comprises means, including on the one hand its internal teeth and on the other hand the lug that it carries via its second stage, distinct for its drive in rotation, these means being located on different levels .

An object of the present invention is to provide a date mechanism allowing the correct passage of the date display at the end of the month whether the month is a month of thirty days or a month of thirty-one days, said mechanism comprising a display crown of which only the internal teeth, located on a single level, allow it to rotate.

  • quel que soit le nombre de jours du mois en cours, lorsque le quantième du mois est compris entre un et vingt-neuf inclus, à chaque rotation de la bascule depuis la position dans laquelle son palpeur est en appui contre la came des mois vers ladite position prédéterminée, le cliquet coopère avec une dent de la denture intérieure de la couronne d'affichage, pour entraîner la rotation d'un pas de ladite couronne d'affichage, l'indication de quantième désignée étant ainsi incrémentée d'une unité ;
To this end, the invention proposes a date mechanism comprising a display crown with internal teeth bearing indications ranging from one to thirty-one intended to be designated successively to indicate the date of the month, a tooth of the internal toothing. of the display crown being replaced by a drive member of a shape different from that of the teeth of said toothing, a months cam whose angular position is indicative of the number of days in the current month and a rocker comprising a feeler and a pawl, said rocker being intended to be driven in rotation, from a position in which its feeler bears against said month cam, this position depending on the number of days in the month, to a predetermined position, the whole being arranged so that :
  • regardless of the number of days in the current month, when the date of the month is between one and twenty-nine inclusive, on each rotation of the rocker from the position in which its feeler is resting against the month cam towards said predetermined position, the pawl cooperates with a tooth of the internal teeth of the display crown, to drive the rotation of said display crown by one step, the designated date indication thus being incremented by one unit;
  • when the date of the month is equal to thirty:
    • ∘ if the current month is a month of thirty days, under the effect of the rotation of the rocker from the position in which its feeler is resting against the months cam, the pawl cooperates with a first part of the organ drive to drive the rotation of a first step of said display ring then cooperates with a tooth of the internal toothing of the display ring adjacent to the drive member to drive the ring by a second step display, the designated date indication thus changing from thirty to thirty-one then from thirty-one to one consecutively; and
    • ∘ if the current month is a month of thirty-one days, under the effect of the rotation of the rocker from the position in which its feeler bears against the month cam towards said predetermined position, the pawl cooperates with a tooth of the internal toothing of the display crown adjacent to the drive member to drive the rotation of said display crown by one step, the designated date indication thus passing from thirty to thirty-and -a.
  • when the date of the month is equal to thirty-one, under the effect of the rotation of the rocker from the position in which its feeler bears against the months cam towards said predetermined position, the pawl cooperates with a second part of the drive member for driving the rotation of one step of said display crown, the designated date indication thus changing from thirty-one to one.

The invention also relates to a timepiece such as a wristwatch, a pocket watch or a table calendar comprising such a date mechanism.

The date mechanism according to the invention is typically fixed to a frame such as a plate or a bridge of a watch movement. The frame can also be an additional board, the date mechanism and said board typically forming a module. Unless otherwise indicated, the various movements described are described in relation to said frame.

The month cam typically comprises hollowed out parts, all of the same depth, and non-hollowed out parts, distributed over adjacent angular sectors. This is typically a cam of twelve comprising twelve angular sectors of 30 ° alternating, in the order of the months which they represent, angular portions hollowed out and not hollowed out. The month cam rotates each month, typically by a twelfth of a turn, to present a part that is scooped out with the probe during months of less than thirty-one days and to present a part that is not dug with the probe during months of thirty-one and-one days.

The feeler of the rocker is typically held in abutment against the months cam by means of a spring called a “rocker spring”, this spring being typically fixed to the frame. Depending on whether the current month includes thirty-one days or less, the position of the rocker in which its feeler is resting against the month cam, called “rest position”, varies. There are typically two distinct rest positions of the rocker, depending on whether the current month comprises thirty-one days or less than thirty-one days, these positions depending on the angular position of the month cam with respect to the month. built.

The expression “internally toothed ring gear” designates an internally toothed ring. It is typically a hollow disc comprising teeth uniformly distributed over its interior contour.

  • The figures 5a to 5f represent, in top view and by transparency, the mechanism shown in figure 1 in successive states, during the passage from the 30th day of the month of April to the first date of the month of May.

With reference to figures 1 to 5f , a date mechanism 1 according to a particular embodiment of the invention comprises a date display crown 2, a cam of twelve 3, a lever 4 comprising a feeler 4a and carrying a pawl 4b, and a wheel 5 of twenty-four hours wearing a finger 6.

Le cliquet 4b porté par la bascule 4 est apte à pivoter autour d'un axe de rotation A3 (virtuel ou imaginaire), fixe par rapport à la bascule 4.The pawl 4b carried by the latch 4 is able to pivot about an axis of rotation A3 (virtual or imaginary), fixed with respect to the latch 4.

The date mechanism 1 is integrated into a watch movement comprising a plate 100.

The date display crown 2 comprises indications 7 ranging from one to thirty-one and corresponding to the dates of the months, uniformly distributed over a circumference of its upper surface and intended to be read through an aperture 8 of which the position is fixed relative to the plate 100. The window 8 is typically produced in a dial positioned above the display crown 2. In the figures, although such a dial is not shown for reasons of legibility, the position of the window 8 is materialized.

The rocker 4 is intended to pivot around an axis of rotation O (virtual or imaginary) between a rest position, in which its feeler 4a is held in abutment against the cam of twelve 3, typically by a rocker spring 9 fixed on the plate 100, and a predetermined position called "extreme position" corresponding to the position of the rocker 4 in which the feeler 4a is the furthest from the cam of twelve 3.

The passage from the rest position to the extreme position is carried out, every twenty-four hours, under the effect of the finger 6 pivoting around a rotation axis A1 (virtual or imaginary) at a speed of one revolution per twenty-four hours in a counterclockwise direction, this finger 6 pushing the lever 4 by acting on one of its ends 4c.

During the pivoting of the rocker 4, the pawl 4b which it carries actuates the display crown 2, the positioning of which is ensured by a positioning device 10 comprising a jumper 10a. The end 4b ′ of the pawl 4b cooperating with the teeth of the display crown 2 is kept pivoted in the counterclockwise direction by a pawl spring 11, fixed on the rocker 4.

The cam of twelve 3 has hollow parts and solid parts (or not hollow), each of them corresponding to a month of the common year. The hollow parts of the cam of twelve 3 are all located at the same distance from its axis of rotation A2 (virtual or imaginary) and therefore all have the same depth. Likewise, the solid parts are also all located at the same distance from the axis of rotation A2. The cam of twelve 3 rotates at the end of each month by a twelfth of a turn.

According to the angular position of the cam of twelve 3, the feeler 4a is located at a given position which determines the rest position of the rocker 4. This position determines the amplitude of the pawl 4b of the rocker 4 acting on the internal teeth of the rocker. the display crown 2. There are typically two distinct rest positions of the rocker 4, depending on whether the current month comprises thirty-one days or less than thirty-one days. For example, a first of these positions is shown at figure 2a and a second of these positions is shown at figure 3 .

The twelve cam 3 is coaxial and rotatably secured to a twelve star 16 comprising twelve teeth. This star 16 rotates around the axis A2 of a not per month. It is typically positioned by a jumper 17 of which only a part is visible in the figures.

The finger 6 is coaxial with the twenty-four hour wheel 5 and pivots around the axis of rotation A1 of this wheel 5 at a speed of one revolution per twenty-four hours in the counterclockwise direction. As the name suggests, the twenty-four hour wheel 5 performs one revolution per day. For this, it typically meshes with the hours wheel 18 of the timing gear of the watch movement in which the date mechanism 1 is integrated. A pin 15 fixed on the twenty-four hour wheel 5 allows the finger 6 to be driven in rotation at a speed of one revolution per twenty-four hours in the counterclockwise direction. It is the normal direction of rotation of the hour wheel 18 (here clockwise) which defines the direction of rotation of the wheel 5 and therefore of the finger 6. As a variant, the pin 15 could be replaced by an element, such as 'a lug, retractable. In this case, said element would only allow the finger 6 to be driven when the twenty-four hour wheel 5 rotates counterclockwise. This would make it possible to protect the mechanism, for example when setting the time which would consist of backing the time.

In the remainder of the description, to facilitate understanding of the invention, we will call, with reference to figures 1 to 5f , tooth X / Y the tooth of display crown 2 located between indications 7 with the numbers X and Y.

Between the fifteen and sixteen indications of the display crown 2 is a first special tooth (15/16) in two parts, this first special tooth 15/16 comprising a first 13a and a second 13b small teeth which correspond to a tooth classic split in two. Together, these teeth 13a, 13b occupy a width "l", identical to the width of a conventional tooth. These small teeth 13a, 13b play a particular role for the passage of dates at the end of the month depending on whether or not the current month is a month of thirty-one days, as explained below.

Between the indications twenty and twenty-one is a second special tooth 20/21, different from the first and longer than the others so as to allow the training of the star 16 of twelve by one step each month .

Elles ont une largeur « l ».With the exception of these “special” teeth 13a, 13b and 14, all the other teeth of the display ring 2 or “conventional teeth” are identical or substantially identical to each other. They have a width "l".

Les mois de trente-et-un jours, lorsque la bascule 4 est au repos, son palpeur 4a est en appui contre une partie non creusée de la came de douze 3.During the thirty-one day months, when the lever 4 is at rest, its feeler 4a is resting against an uncut part of the cam of twelve 3.

The figures 2a to 2d illustrate the mechanism 1 in successive states, during the passage from the twenty-eight date to the twenty-nine date of the month of March.

We see the rocker 4 at rest, its feeler 4a being held in support by the rocker spring 9 against a non-hollowed part of the cam of twelve 3. The pawl 4b is in turn resting on a tooth 13/14 of the internal teeth of the date display crown 2.

Sous l'effet du ressort de cliquet 11, l'extrémité 4b' du cliquet 4b est maintenue en appui contre la dent 13/14, comme illustré à la figure 2a.Under the effect of the pawl spring 11, the end 4b 'of the pawl 4b is held in abutment against the tooth 13/14, as illustrated in figure 2a .

Le couple nécessaire pour entraîner la rotation de la couronne d'affichage 2 est typiquement défini par le dispositif de positionnement 10.When the rocker 4 is rotated by the finger 6, the end 4b 'of the pawl 4b abuts against the tooth 12/13 of the date display crown 2 in order to lift it. Initially, the pawl 4b pivots counterclockwise until this pivoting is blocked by a stop 12 fixed on the rocker 4. The torque necessary to drive the rotation of the display crown 2 is typically defined by the positioning device 10.

As the rocker 4 continues to rotate, the pawl 4b which cannot rotate further counterclockwise pushes the tooth 12/13 on it. immediately next to it, which causes the date display crown 2 to rotate clockwise, as shown in figure 2b . By making it possible to maintain the end 4b 'of the pawl 4b in the path of the tooth 12/13, the stop 12 participates in driving the display ring 2 in rotation.

The positioning device 10 of the display crown 2 is rotated under the effect of this rotation. Even if the extreme position of the rocker 4 is not sufficient for the pawl 4b to cause the display crown 2 to rotate one full step, the positioning device 10 allows the repositioning of the display crown to be repositioned. date 2. It helps the latter to complete the rotation of a step that it has started, as illustrated in figure 2c .

While the extreme position of the rocker 4 is reached, the finger 6 continues to pivot. Also, the pressure which it exerts on the end 4c of the rocker 4 eventually disappears, so that the latter returns to its rest position, under the effect of the rocker spring 9.

When the lever 4 pivots towards its rest position, the pawl 4b retracts against the elastic return force of its spring 11 to allow tooth 13/14 to pass without disturbing the position of the date crown 2.

It is thus positioned against tooth 14/15 adjacent to tooth 13/14 that it has just let through, as shown in figure 2d .

The steps are identical for each standard jump of a month of thirty-one days, that is to say for each passage of a date of a month of thirty-one days except for the passage of the date of thirty-one days. date thirty-one of that month then from date thirty-one of that month to the first date of the following month. These particular steps associated with the end of the month are explained later in the description.

Les mois de moins de trente-et-un jours, lorsque la bascule 4 est au repos, son palpeur 4a est en appui contre une partie creusée de la came de douze 3.In months of less than thirty-one days, when the lever 4 is at rest, its feeler 4a is resting against a hollowed out part of the cam of twelve 3.

The figure 3 illustrates mechanism 1 on April 1 at the start of the day. We see the rocker 4 at rest, its feeler 4a being held in support by the rocker spring 9 against a recessed part of the cam of twelve 3. In this case, unlike the rest position associated with the months of thirty-e. -one day, the pawl 4b bears against a tooth of the internal toothing of the date display crown 2, typically in the middle of the width of this tooth, as illustrated in figure 3 and not against the side of that tooth.

From this rest position, when the rocker 4 is pivoted, under the effect of the finger 6, the pawl 4b will begin by sliding against the tooth 17/18 against which it is resting without moving it and then push the tooth 16 / 17 following, which will cause the date display crown 2 to rotate clockwise. The following steps are the same as described for a standard thirty-one day month jump. When the rocker 4 returns to its rest position, the pawl 4b will retract against the elastic return force of its spring 11 to allow the tooth 17/18 to pass. It will thus be positioned against tooth 18/19, typically in the middle of the width of this tooth 18/19.

The steps are identical for each standard jump of a month of less than thirty-one days, that is to say for each passage of a date of a month of less than thirty-one days except for the passage from the thirtieth day of that month to the first day of the following month. These particular steps associated with the end of the month are explained later in the description.

The operation of mechanism 1 when changing from date thirty to date thirty-one of a month and then from date thirty-one of that month to the first date of the following month during months of thirty-one days is described in more detail below with reference to figures 4a to 4g .

The figure 4a illustrates mechanism 1 on March 30, at the end of the day. The feeler 4a of the rocker 4 is resting against a solid part of the cam twelve 3 indicating that it is a thirty-one day month. In this position, the pawl 4b is held, by the spring 11, resting against the first 13a of the two small teeth 13a, 13b facing it. When, at the end of the day, the rocker 4 is actuated by the finger 6 of the twenty-four hour wheel 5, it pivots and its pawl 4b drives the display crown 2 in clockwise rotation by acting on the tooth 14/15 of date crown 2. This is illustrated in figures 4b and 4c . The stopper 12 prevents the pawl 4b from retracting by pivoting counterclockwise when lifting the lever 4 ( figure 4b ).

L'indication correspondant au quantième trente-et-un est alors entièrement visible à travers le guichet 8, comme illustré à la figure 4c.In the state shown in figure 4b , the rocker 4 has reached its extreme position. In this position, the display in window 8 shows that display crown 2 has performed part of its rotation. As in what has been described previously, the remainder of the rotation of the display crown 2 then occurs under the effect of the positioning device 10 of the display crown 2 which helps said crown 2 to complete its step. The indication corresponding to the thirty-one date is then fully visible through window 8, as illustrated in figure 4c .

During this fall, the pawl 4b retracts and lets the two small teeth 13a, 13b pass. It is therefore found resting against the following tooth 16/17 and the probe 4a comes back to rest against the cam of twelve 3.

Cela est illustré aux figures 4e et 4f.The figure 4d illustrates mechanism 1 several hours later, on March 31, at the end of the day. The position of the cam of twelve 3 has not changed. The rocker 4 is in the rest position, with its feeler 4a resting against an uncut part of the cam of twelve 3. As every day at the end of the day, the finger 6 again raises the rocker 4 and its pawl 4b comes drive display crown 2 in clockwise rotation by acting this time on the small lower tooth 13b of the date crown 2 between the indications fifteen and sixteen. This is illustrated in figures 4e and 4f .

L'indication correspondant au quantième « un » est alors entièrement visible à travers le guichet 8, comme illustré à la figure 4f.In the state shown in figure 4e , the rocker 4 has reached its extreme position. In this position, the display in window 8 shows that display crown 2 has performed part of its rotation. The remainder of the rotation of the display crown then occurs under the effect of the positioning device 10 of the display crown 2, as already explained. The indication corresponding to the date “one” is then fully visible through window 8, as illustrated in figure 4f .

Cette position est illustrée à la figure 4g.Driven by the twenty-four hour wheel 5, the finger 6 continues its rotation, thus letting the lever 4 fall. During this fall, the pawl 4b retracts and lets the tooth 16/17 pass. It then finds itself resting against the next tooth 17/18 when the probe comes back to rest against the cam of twelve 3. It typically points in the middle of the width of the tooth 17/18. This position is illustrated on figure 4g .

La rotation de l'étoile de douze 16 est illustrée aux figures 4e et 4f.In addition, during the rotation of the date display crown 2, between March 31 and April 1, the special second tooth 14 of the display crown 2 caused the rotation by one step of the star of twelve 16 and therefore the positioning of the cam of twelve 3 on the month of April which is a month of thirty days (probe 4a in a hollow at the figure 4g ). The rotation of the star of twelve 16 is illustrated in figures 4e and 4f .

The operation of the mechanism 1 during the passage from the thirty-month date of a month to the first date of the following month during months of less than thirty-one days is described in more detail below with reference to figures 5a to 5f .

The figure 5a illustrates mechanism 1 on April 30 at the end of the day. The feeler 4a of the rocker 4 rests against a hollowed out part of the twelve cam 3 indicating that it is a month less than thirty-one days. In this position, the end 4b 'of the pawl 4b is held, by the pawl spring 11, resting against the second 13b of the two small teeth facing it, that is to say between the two small teeth 13a, 13b. When, at the end of the day, the rocker 4 is actuated by the finger 6 of the twenty-four hour wheel 5, it pivots and its pawl 4b drives the display crown 2 in clockwise rotation by acting on the first small tooth 13a of date crown 2. This is illustrated on figure 5b . The stop 12 prevents the end 4b 'of the pawl 4b from retracting during the lifting of the lever 4. It keeps the end 4b' of the pawl 4b in the path of the first small tooth 13a and therefore participates in the 'drive the display crown 2 in rotation.

Cela est illustré à la figure 5d.In the state shown in figure 5b , the rocker 4 has not reached its extreme position. In this position, the display in window 8 shows that display crown 2 has started its rotation by one step towards the display of the “thirty-one” date. The remainder of the rotation of the display crown 2 then occurs under the effect of the positioning device 10 which helps said crown 2 to complete its step. At this time, under the effect of the rotation of the display crown 2, the pawl 4b retracts and lets the second small tooth 13b pass. The indication corresponding to the thirty-one date is then fully visible through window 8, as illustrated in figure 5c . But it only lasts a very short time. Indeed, at this stage the rocker 4 continues its rotation in the clockwise direction so that the pawl 4b again drives the display crown 2 in clockwise rotation by acting on the second small tooth 13b of the control ring. date 2. This is illustrated on figure 5d .

L'indication correspondant au quantième « un » est alors entièrement visible à travers le guichet 8, comme illustré à la figure 5e.In the state shown in figure 5d , the rocker 4 has reached its extreme position. In this position, the display in aperture 8 shows that the display crown 2 has performed part of its rotation by one step towards the display of the date "one". The remainder of the rotation of the display crown 2 then occurs under the effect of the positioning device 10 of the display crown 2 which helps the latter to complete its step. The indication corresponding to the date “one” is then fully visible through window 8, as illustrated in figure 5e .

Cette position est illustrée à la figure 5f.Driven by the twenty-four hour wheel 5, the finger 6 continues its rotation, thus letting the lever 4 fall. During this fall, the pawl 4b retracts and lets the tooth 16/17 pass. It is therefore found resting against the next tooth 17/18 and the probe 4a comes back to rest against the cam of twelve 3. This position is illustrated on figure 5f .

La rotation de l'étoile de douze 16 est illustrée notamment aux figures 5d et 5e.In addition, during the rotation of the date display crown 2, between April 30 and May 1, the second special tooth 14 of the display crown 2 caused the star to rotate by one step. of twelve 16 and therefore the positioning of the cam of twelve 3 in a position corresponding to the following month, the month of May, which is a month of thirty-one days. The rotation of the star of twelve 16 is illustrated in particular in figures 5d and 5th .

The date mechanism 1 according to the invention allows the correct passage of the date display at the end of the month whether the month is a month of thirty days or a month of thirty-one days. The thirty-day months, on the night of the thirtieth to the first, the thirtieth of the month is followed by the first without manual intervention.

De plus, il présente également l'avantage de ne nécessiter qu'un seul cliquet pour l'actionnement de la couronne d'affichage de quantième 2.To achieve this, the date mechanism 1 has the advantage of comprising a display crown of which only the internal teeth, located on a single level, allow it to be set in rotation. It therefore takes up less space than date mechanisms of this type according to the prior art. In addition, it also has the advantage of requiring only a single pawl for actuating the date display crown 2.

It will be clear to those skilled in the art that the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiment presented above and illustrated in the figures.

In the illustrated embodiment, the month cam 3 comprises twelve angular portions with hollow and non-hollow parts corresponding respectively to months of less than thirty-one days and to months of thirty-one days and is associated with a star of twelve 16 with twelve teeth. It is clear that the cam of the months could take different forms as long as its function is not impaired. It could in particular comprise a number of angular portions which is a multiple of twelve and be associated with a star comprising a number of teeth corresponding to this number of angular portions. The mechanism could also be adjusted so that the valleys correspond to months of thirty-one days and the flat parts to months of less than thirty-one days.

The date mechanism 1 illustrated in figures 1 to 5f is an annual calendar mechanism and behaves in February as if it had thirty days. The mechanism could be modified so that it behaves in February as if it had thirty-one days. In addition, a person skilled in the art could easily adapt it, in particular by adding a leap year cam, to make it a perpetual calendar.

As indicated above, the date mechanism according to the invention is typically fixed to a frame such as a plate or a bridge of a watch movement. The date mechanism according to the invention can also have its own frame, typically an additional plate, which can be made integral with the frame of said watch movement.

It also seems obvious that the date mechanism 1 can be adapted so that the so-called “special” teeth are positioned elsewhere on the watch. internal toothing of the date display crown 2. In addition, their shape can also be changed as long as their function is retained.

Typically, the two teeth 13a, 13b of the first special tooth 13 of width "l" could not have the same width so that the recess separating them would not be located in the middle of the width "l" of the first special tooth. 13 but at a distance corresponding to x% of "l" with respect to one end of this tooth 13, the position of this end being considered with respect to a predetermined direction of rotation. The mechanism 1 would then be adapted so that, during the days one to twenty-nine of the months of less than thirty-one days, the end 4b 'of the pawl 4b is positioned resting against a tooth of the internal teeth of the display crown 2, at the same distance of x% of “l” from the end of this tooth considered with respect to the same predetermined direction of rotation.

Un tel dispositif de positionnement 10 pourrait être remplacé par un sautoir classique (tel que le sautoir 10a).The positioning device 10 illustrated in figures 1 to 5f is a device comprising a jumper 10a associated with a mobile, said mobile comprising a star with five teeth 10b and a wheel with wide teeth 10c. The width of the teeth of said wide-toothed wheel 10c typically corresponds to the distance separating two teeth of the internal teeth of the date crown 2. The five-tooth star is positioned by a “conventional” jumper 10a fixed on the plate 100. and the wide toothed wheel 10c cooperates with the teeth of the display crown 2. Such a positioning device 10 could be replaced by a conventional jumper (such as the jumper 10a).

Au lieu d'être monté sur la bascule 4, le cliquet 4b pourrait être venu d'une pièce avec la bascule 4 tout en restant mobile en rotation par rapport à cette bascule 4.Instead of being mounted on the rocker 4, the pawl 4b could have come integrally with the rocker 4 while remaining movable in rotation with respect to this rocker 4.

The twenty-four hour wheel 5 could be driven in rotation other than via the hours wheel 18 of the timer train of the watch movement in which the mechanism 1 is integrated.

Obviously, the directions of pivoting of the various members could be modified.

In other variants, it is obvious that the shape of the various organs described can vary ad infinitum as long as their functions are fulfilled.

In the embodiment described, the positioning device 10 participates in the rotation of the display crown 2, the rocker not needing to cause by itself the displacement of a complete step of the crown d. 'display 2. This is intended to limit the energy consumption necessary to raise the latch 4. However, it is very well conceivable to design the date mechanism according to the invention so that the latch 4 can, on its own , using its pawl 4b, cause the display ring 2 to rotate one full step.
