Definitions
- a safety harness with a locking and holding device is, for example, from DE 200 22 993 U1 known.
- the safety harness has a seat belt strand and a shoulder belt strand.
- the shoulder belt strand has two sections which are arranged crosswise on the back of a wearer. This crossing point has a fall arrest eyelet to which a fall arrest rope can be attached.
- a retaining system with a rope belt and a detachable fastening strap which is fixed along the shoulder area of the rope belt with the aid of a separable retaining connection.
- the fastening strap is fastened at its front end to the chest section of the rope harness and at its rear end forms a loop for a carabiner or a rope clamp. When not released, the loop is on the back of the secured person. If the person falls into the rope, the restraint connection is released and the loop is attached to the front of the harness.
- the EP 3 045 209 A2 discloses a different type of device for fall protection in which a safety rope and a loose tether running parallel to it are used. If a secured person falls, the person is first caught by the safety rope attached to the back. Having a second person the holding rope is tensioned by a winch, a holding element, for example designed as a seam, tears and the person lies on his back. The safety rope remains fixed on the back via a safety eyelet.
- Another full body harness device is off EP 2 724 752 A2 known.
- Standard full body harnesses are used for building construction, in which the fall arrest line is attached to a fall arrest eyelet in the back of the wearer. This means that the person wearing the full body harness is not hindered when carrying out the work.
- this design has the serious disadvantage that the wearer must be freed within a very short time in the event of a fall into the fall protection line.
- the back suspension can lead to life-threatening stress after a short dwell time. With an exposure time of 20 minutes, death can occur under certain circumstances. The reason for this is that the back suspension creates a lot of pressure on the chest, leg arteries and leg veins from its own body weight, which severely affects breathing and blood circulation.
- safety harnesses for other applications in particular climbing harnesses, are known in which the tether is attached to the front or chest side of the wearer, increasing the non-lethal time "in the rope" after a fall to at least 60 minutes.
- this design would not be useful in building construction, since a chest suspension of the tether would interfere with the freedom of movement of the wearer's arms in such a way that efficient work would not be possible.
- the object of the present invention is to eliminate or at least alleviate the disadvantages of the prior art.
- the invention therefore sets itself the goal of creating a safety harness device for building construction work which improves the load on the wearer in the event of a fall.
- a holding element for connecting the locking element to the shoulder strap and a triggering device for releasing the locking element from the holding element having a latch and a latch receptacle, the latch being connected to the latch receptacle in the working position and the latch by applying a predetermined longitudinal force on the locking element can be transferred into a release position released from the bolt receptacle.
- the locking element In order to enable free and unhindered work, the locking element is arranged in the working position on the rear of a carrier of the safety harness device.
- the end section of the fall arrest line connected to the locking element is thus located in the back area of the girder when building construction work, for example on a metal frame, is being carried out.
- a back suspension of the fall protection line ie an arrangement of the fall protection line on the back section of the shoulder belt
- the locking element In the event of a fall, the locking element is automatically shifted from the working position to the catching position.
- the locking element and thus also the fall arrest line are guided from the back of the wearer to the chest side or front of the wearer.
- the fall arrest line is arranged on the front or the chest side of the wearer.
- the course of movement of the locking element or of the end area of the fall arrest line connected to it accordingly takes place from the back of the wearer, preferably over the wearer's shoulder to the chest area.
- the chest suspension in the catching position exposes the wearer's chest to only a minimal load.
- the wearer can stay in the fall arrest line for a much longer period of time before a health-endangering exposure to pressure occurs.
- freedom of movement when carrying out the work can therefore be combined with greater safety in the event of a fall.
- the location and direction details relate to the intended use of the safety harness.
- “front”, “front” etc. refer to the chest area of the wearer and “back”, “back” etc. refer to the back area of the wearer.
- a catching element on the chest section of the shoulder strap and a connecting element are preferably provided for connecting the locking element to the catching element.
- the collecting element is on the front, i.e. on the side of the chest section of the shoulder strap.
- An eyelet, for example, which is connected in particular to the chest section of the shoulder strap, can be provided as a catching element.
- the connecting element is connected on the one hand to the catching element on the front side of the carrier and on the other hand to the locking element, which is located in the working position on the back of the carrier.
- a connecting cable is preferably provided as the connecting element, which for the purposes of this disclosure is also to be understood as a belt, a band or another longitudinal element that can be deformed transversely to the longitudinal direction.
- the locking element is displaced by the longitudinal force via the fall arrest line from the rear to the front of the carrier, so that the weight of the carrier is absorbed by the catching element on the front.
- one end of the connecting element is preferably connected to the locking element and the other end of the connecting element is connected to the collecting element.
- the connecting element In the working position, the connecting element is in a state unloaded by the weight of the wearer of the safety harness, the weight of the wearer being supported by the locking element the back is recorded.
- the connecting element In the secured position, the connecting element is in the loaded state, the weight of the wearer being absorbed by the catching element on the front or chest side.
- the connecting element is guided along the shoulder strap at least in sections in the working position, preferably essentially over the entire length of the connecting element.
- the connecting element is received in the working position between the shoulder strap and a cover part, in particular a cover fabric.
- the cover part is connected to the shoulder strap via a joint connection, in particular via a seam.
- a joint connection in particular via a seam.
- a holding element for connecting the locking element to the shoulder strap and a release device for releasing the locking element from the holding element are provided.
- the holding element is fixedly connected to the shoulder strap, in particular to its back section, on the back of the wearer.
- the triggering device has the effect that the locking element is released from the holding element by the catching forces in the event of a fall. This transfers the weight of the wearer to the catching element on the front.
- the release device has a bolt and a bolt receptacle, the bolt being connected to the bolt receptacle in the working position and the bolt being connected by being attached a predetermined longitudinal force on the locking element can be transferred into a release position released from the bolt receptacle.
- the fall arrest line is therefore arranged on the locking element on the rear side of the wearer so as not to disturb the wearer while doing his work. Only in the event of a fall is the release device activated, with which the locking element is released from the holding element in order to enable the locking element to be shifted to the front.
- the bolt is mounted on the holding element in particular pivotably, the locking element having the bolt receptacle.
- the bolt can also be provided on the locking element and the bolt receptacle on the holding element.
- the triggering device has a spring element, against whose spring force the locking element can be released from the holding element.
- the release device particularly preferably has a damping element for braking a release movement of the locking element relative to the holding element.
- the damping element causes a time delay in the release process.
- Fig. 1 shows the back, Fig. 2 the front of a building construction worker who is secured with a safety harness device 1 for catching in the event of a fall.
- the safety harness device 1 has two shoulder straps 2, each with a chest section 2a, a shoulder section 2b and a back section 2c.
- the chest section 2a, shoulder section 2b and back section 2c are designed in one piece in this exemplary embodiment.
- the back sections 2c and the chest sections 2a of the shoulder straps 2 are each arranged crosswise. For better stabilization, the back sections 2c are connected via a transverse section 3.
- the safety harness device 1 also has two leg straps 4, which are designed as loops or loops for the left and right legs. The leg straps 4 are firmly connected to the shoulder strap 2 at connection points 5.
- leg straps 4 and shoulder straps 2 can also be made in one piece.
- the safety harness device 1 has a locking element 6 for releasably attaching a fall protection line 7.
- the locking element 6 is releasably connected to one end of the fall arrest line 7, the other end being fastened to a scaffold support 8.
- the attachment to the scaffold support 8 takes place via a fastening ring 9 which, in the embodiment shown, can be displaced along the longitudinal extension of the framework support 8.
- the safety harness device 1 is basically known in the prior art, so that more detailed information on this is not necessary.
- the known elements of the safety harness device 1 are shown only schematically in the drawings.
- the shoulder strap 2 has a catching element 22 on the side of the chest section 2a.
- the catch element 22 is designed, for example, as a catch eye according to the standard DIN EN361: 2002.
- the collecting element 22 is connected to the locking element 6 via a connecting element 11.
- the connecting element 11 is a connecting rope 11 a, which is guided along the shoulder strap 2 in the working position.
- the connecting rope 11a is received between the shoulder strap 2 and a cover part 12, in this case a cover fabric.
- the cover part 12 is connected to the shoulder strap 2 via a joint connection, in particular via a seam 13.
- the locking element 6 is guided along the shoulder strap 2 from its back section 2c to its chest section 2a.
- the seam 13 gradually tears, beginning at the back section 2c, as a result of which the connecting rope 11a is released and moves together with the locking element 6 in the direction of the chest section 2a.
- the connecting rope 11a is completely released and is no longer received between the shoulder strap 2 and the cover part 12.
- the fall arrest line 7 is connected to the catching element 22 on the chest section 2a of the shoulder strap 2 via the locking element 6 and the connecting rope 11a.
- the fall arrest line 7 is accordingly arranged in the catching position on the chest side of the wearer. The wearer hangs with his back down and his chest up in the rope.
- a holding element 10 connects the locking element 6 to the shoulder strap 2.
- the holding element 10 is connected to the back section 2c of the shoulder strap 2 firmly connected via a retaining opening 10a.
- a release device 14 is provided for releasing the locking element 6 from the holding element 10.
- the release device 14 has at least one rotatably mounted bolt 15; In the embodiment shown, two corresponding bolts 15 are provided.
- the locking element 6 has a matching bolt holder (s) 16 (two in the embodiment shown), with each bolt 15 being received in the associated bolt holder 16 in the working position (cf. Fig. 3a ).
- the bolt 15 can be transferred into a release position released from the bolt receptacle 16 by applying a predetermined longitudinal force to the locking element 6 in the event of a fall (see arrow 20 in FIG Figure 3b ).
- the bolts 15 are pivotably mounted on the holding element 10.
- the release device 14 also has a spring element 21, against the spring force of which the locking element 6 can be released from the holding element 10.
- the spring force defines the force which must be applied in order to release the locking element 6 from the holding element 10.
- the holding element 10 has a first part 19a, firmly connected to the belt element 2, with the holding opening 10a, and a second part 19b which is mounted displaceably with respect to the first part 19a.
- the spring element 21 is arranged between the first part 19a and the second part 19b in such a way that the spring element 21 is compressed in the event of a tensile force on the locking element 6 as a result of the impact until the bolts 15 are released from the bolt receptacles 16. After the locking element 6 has been removed from the holding element 10, the spring element 21 returns to its relaxed starting position.
- a damping element 17 is also provided for braking the release process.
- a hydraulic spring damper 18 is provided to form the spring element 21 and the damper element 17.

Standard full body harnesses are used for building construction, in which the fall arrest line is attached to a fall arrest eyelet in the back of the wearer. This means that the person wearing the full body harness is not hindered when carrying out the work. However, this design has the serious disadvantage that the wearer must be freed within a very short time in the event of a fall into the fall protection line. The back suspension can lead to life-threatening stress after a short dwell time. With an exposure time of 20 minutes, death can occur under certain circumstances. The reason for this is that the back suspension creates a lot of pressure on the chest, leg arteries and leg veins from its own body weight, which severely affects breathing and blood circulation.
On the other hand, safety harnesses for other applications, in particular climbing harnesses, are known in which the tether is attached to the front or chest side of the wearer, increasing the non-lethal time "in the rope" after a fall to at least 60 minutes. However, this design would not be useful in building construction, since a chest suspension of the tether would interfere with the freedom of movement of the wearer's arms in such a way that efficient work would not be possible.
Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to eliminate or at least alleviate the disadvantages of the prior art. The invention therefore sets itself the goal of creating a safety harness device for building construction work which improves the load on the wearer in the event of a fall.
This object is achieved by a safety harness device as claimed 1 specified, solved. Preferred embodiments are contained in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, a holding element for connecting the locking element to the shoulder strap and a triggering device for releasing the locking element from the holding element are provided, the triggering device having a latch and a latch receptacle, the latch being connected to the latch receptacle in the working position and the latch by applying a predetermined longitudinal force on the locking element can be transferred into a release position released from the bolt receptacle.
In order to enable free and unhindered work, the locking element is arranged in the working position on the rear of a carrier of the safety harness device. The end section of the fall arrest line connected to the locking element is thus located in the back area of the girder when building construction work, for example on a metal frame, is being carried out. In other words, a back suspension of the fall protection line (ie an arrangement of the fall protection line on the back section of the shoulder belt) is provided in the working position. This enables free and undisturbed work, while the required fall protection is achieved at the same time. In the event of a fall, the locking element is automatically shifted from the working position to the catching position. During the transition from the working position to the catching position, the locking element and thus also the fall arrest line are guided from the back of the wearer to the chest side or front of the wearer. In this position, the fall arrest line is arranged on the front or the chest side of the wearer. The course of movement of the locking element or of the end area of the fall arrest line connected to it accordingly takes place from the back of the wearer, preferably over the wearer's shoulder to the chest area. Advantageously, the chest suspension in the catching position exposes the wearer's chest to only a minimal load. As the fall arrest line changes from an arrangement on the back to an arrangement in the chest area during or a few seconds after a fall is transferred, the wearer can stay in the fall arrest line for a much longer period of time before a health-endangering exposure to pressure occurs. Advantageously, freedom of movement when carrying out the work can therefore be combined with greater safety in the event of a fall.
For the purposes of this disclosure, the location and direction details relate to the intended use of the safety harness. For example, "front", "front" etc. refer to the chest area of the wearer and "back", "back" etc. refer to the back area of the wearer.
To enable the locking element to be shifted from the back to the front of the person to be secured, a catching element on the chest section of the shoulder strap and a connecting element, preferably a connecting rope, are preferably provided for connecting the locking element to the catching element. The collecting element is on the front, i.e. on the side of the chest section of the shoulder strap. An eyelet, for example, which is connected in particular to the chest section of the shoulder strap, can be provided as a catching element. The connecting element is connected on the one hand to the catching element on the front side of the carrier and on the other hand to the locking element, which is located in the working position on the back of the carrier. A connecting cable is preferably provided as the connecting element, which for the purposes of this disclosure is also to be understood as a belt, a band or another longitudinal element that can be deformed transversely to the longitudinal direction. In the event of a fall, the locking element is displaced by the longitudinal force via the fall arrest line from the rear to the front of the carrier, so that the weight of the carrier is absorbed by the catching element on the front.
For this purpose, one end of the connecting element is preferably connected to the locking element and the other end of the connecting element is connected to the collecting element. In the working position, the connecting element is in a state unloaded by the weight of the wearer of the safety harness, the weight of the wearer being supported by the locking element the back is recorded. In the secured position, the connecting element is in the loaded state, the weight of the wearer being absorbed by the catching element on the front or chest side.
In order to offer the wearer maximum freedom of movement, to achieve high safety standards and to make it easier to put on the shoulder strap, it is advantageous if the connecting element is guided along the shoulder strap at least in sections in the working position, preferably essentially over the entire length of the connecting element.
For the reasons mentioned above, it is also advantageous if the connecting element is received in the working position between the shoulder strap and a cover part, in particular a cover fabric.
According to a preferred embodiment, the cover part is connected to the shoulder strap via a joint connection, in particular via a seam. This can delay the shifting of the suspension from the back to the front in the event of a fall. In this way, the weight of the wearer is advantageously transferred comparatively gently from the back to the chest suspension in the event of a fall. At the end of the fall, the wearer is suspended from the fall arrest line in a stable position that does not significantly impair breathing and blood supply.
According to the invention, a holding element for connecting the locking element to the shoulder strap and a release device for releasing the locking element from the holding element are provided. The holding element is fixedly connected to the shoulder strap, in particular to its back section, on the back of the wearer. The triggering device has the effect that the locking element is released from the holding element by the catching forces in the event of a fall. This transfers the weight of the wearer to the catching element on the front.
According to the invention, the release device has a bolt and a bolt receptacle, the bolt being connected to the bolt receptacle in the working position and the bolt being connected by being attached a predetermined longitudinal force on the locking element can be transferred into a release position released from the bolt receptacle. In the normal case, the fall arrest line is therefore arranged on the locking element on the rear side of the wearer so as not to disturb the wearer while doing his work. Only in the event of a fall is the release device activated, with which the locking element is released from the holding element in order to enable the locking element to be shifted to the front.
From a constructional point of view, it is favorable if the bolt is mounted on the holding element in particular pivotably, the locking element having the bolt receptacle. However, the bolt can also be provided on the locking element and the bolt receptacle on the holding element.
In order to set a certain triggering force, it is advantageous if the triggering device has a spring element, against whose spring force the locking element can be released from the holding element.
The release device particularly preferably has a damping element for braking a release movement of the locking element relative to the holding element. The damping element causes a time delay in the release process.

To this extent, the
For this purpose, the
