Claims (4)
- Method for the lateral adjustment of a lid (11) of a piece of furniture,wherein the lid (11) is pivotably connected to a furniture body (6) of the furniture via two lid fittings (1),wherein the lid fittings (1) each have the following:a base element (2) for fastening the lid fitting (1) to a side wall (5) of the furniture body (6),a pivot arm (7), which is attached to the base element (2) pivotably about a first body axis (K1),a connecting arrangement (9) for pivotably connecting the pivot arm (7) to the lid (11), andan adjusting element (21) which is supported between the pivot arm (7) and the base element (2) and is arranged adjustably, wherein the adjusting element is held adjustably on the pivot arm and is arranged in sliding contact with the base element,wherein the method comprises the following method step:Arranging the two lid fittings (1) relative to one another in such a way that the base elements (2) of the lid fittings (1) are arranged on different sides of the lid fittings (1),Tensioning the arrangement of the two cover fittings (1) and the lid (11) by adjusting the adjusting elements (21) of both cover fittings (1) in the direction of the respective base element (2), andLaterally adjusting the lid (11) by moving the adjusting elements (21) in opposite directions.
- Method according to claim 1,
characterized inthat the pivot arms (7) of the lid fittings (1) are each adjustable in a pivot plane andthat the adjusting elements (21) are adjusted transversely to the respective pivot plane. - Method according to one of the claims 1 or 2,
characterized in
that the adjusting elements (21) each have a threaded section (22) which is screwed into a thread (28) of the pivot arm (7). - Use of two lid fittings (1) for the lateral adjustment of a lid (11) of a piece of furniture, wherein the lid (11) is pivotably connected to a furniture body (6) of the piece of furniture via the two lid fittings (1) and the arrangement comprising the two lid fittings (1) and the lid (11) is tensioned together, wherein the lid fittings (1) each have the following:a base element (2) for fastening the lid fitting (1) to a side wall (5) of the furniture body (6),a pivot arm (7), which is attached to the base element (2) pivotably about a first body axis (K1),a connecting arrangement (9) for pivotably connecting the pivot arm (7) to the lid (11), andan adjusting element (21) which is supported and adjustably arranged between the pivot arm (7) and the base element (2), the adjusting element being adjustably held on the pivot arm and arranged in sliding contact with the base element, so that when the adjusting elements of the two lid fittings are adjusted in the direction towards the respective base element, the arrangement of lid fittings and lid can be laterally tensioned,wherein the lid (11) can be adjusted laterally by moving the adjusting elements (21) in opposite directions.
