  • Such a configuration of the filtration element makes it possible, after removal of the cap, to extract the filtration element out of the steam distribution circuit, and therefore out of the steam apparatus, and to proceed with cleaning the filtration element. After cleaning, the filter element can be reintroduced into the steam distribution circuit, via the discharge port.
  • the arrangement of the filter element at the heel of the steam iron requires the use of a filter element of small dimensions, and thereby induces a high frequency of cleaning of the filter element, and is liable to reduce the life of the steam apparatus if the user does not observe the required frequency of cleaning of the filter element.
  • the present invention aims to remedy all or part of these drawbacks.
  • the technical problem underlying the invention therefore consists in providing a steam appliance provided with a filtration element making it possible to greatly limit the frequency of cleaning of the latter, while at the same time increasing the life of the steam appliance. .
