Description

Eine Krankentransportvorrichtung mit Doppel-Scherengestänge ist bekannt aus DE4317149 .The invention relates to a patient transport device which is used in particular for operations outside of a hospital or a clinic. The known ambulance devices are generally height-adjustable and thus have a height-adjustable underframe in addition to the lying surface, which is typically provided with castors and / or swivel castors. A simple way of realizing a height-adjustable underframe concerns the use of scissor lifting devices. Single scissor rods are used that have two pairs of intersecting struts. These two pairs of intersecting struts lie next to each other, one ends of the four struts being connected to a lower part of the underframe and the other ends of the four struts to an upper part of the underframe or to a lying surface or the frame a lying surface. The connection to the aforementioned elements is selected such that two struts are hinged at one end and rotatable and displaceable at their other ends. Examples of single scissor linkages are in WO-A-2006/036980 and US-A-2002/0056162 described. A patient transport device with double scissor linkage is known from DE4317149 .

In WO-A-02/39944 describes an ambulance transport device with a chassis and a bed, wherein the bed can be converted into a movable bed when it is removed from the chassis. For this purpose, the bed has, among other things, foldable legs with castors. In the known patient transport device, the chair function can only be assumed without a chassis.

In order to be able to achieve a sufficient lifting height with such single scissor lifting devices, the underframes must be made relatively long. An underframe with a comparatively large longitudinal extension is, however, impossible or difficult to maneuver in tight spaces.

The object of the invention is to create a height-adjustable stretcher which is improved in this regard. To solve this problem, the invention proposes a height-adjustable and, in particular, also movable patient transport device which is provided with
  • an underframe with a lower frame provided with castors and / or castors, an upper frame and a lifting device,
  • wherein the lifting device is arranged between the lower frame and the upper frame and is provided for changing their mutual distance between a lowest stroke position and a maximum stroke position,
  • wherein the lifting device has two operatively connected lifting scissor units which are arranged one above the other and of which the lower lifting scissor unit is coupled to the lower frame and the upper lifting scissor unit is coupled to the upper frame of the undercarriage,
  • Each lifting scissor unit has two pairs (scissor arm pairs) each comprising a first and a second strut (ie scissor arm) which cross and are pivotably connected to one another, and both pairs are arranged laterally offset on a common level and aligned parallel to one another,
  • wherein a first end of each first strut of the lower scissor lift unit is rotatably connected to the lower frame and a first end of every second strut of the lower scissor lift unit is pivotably guided with and slidably on the lower frame,
  • wherein a first end of each first strut of the upper scissor lift unit is rotatably connected to the upper frame and a first end of every second strut of the upper scissor lift unit is pivotably guided with and slidably on the upper frame,
  • wherein the second ends of these struts of both scissor lift units facing away from the first ends of the aforementioned struts are either directly articulated to one another or by means of at least the first and second struts of a further, central scissor lift unit and thus indirectly articulated and
  • a lying surface on and / or on the upper frame, having an end on the head part side and an end on the foot part side, which is connected to the upper frame or can be detachably connected to the upper frame,
  • wherein the lower frame (16) of the underframe (12) has two longitudinal frame sections (84, 85) and two transverse frame sections (88, 89) running transversely thereto, the first transverse frame section (88) being the head end (76) of the lying surface (14) and the second frame transverse section (89) faces the foot-side end (78) of the lying surface (14),
  • wherein the two frame longitudinal sections (84, 85) of the lower frame (16) each protrude beyond its second frame transverse section (89), wherein in these protruding sections (92) of the frame longitudinal sections (84, 85) each has a steering and / or running roller (18) is arranged, and
  • The lower leg / foot part (82) of the lying surface (14) can be immersed in the free space (93) between the two protruding sections (92) at its foot end (78) in the folded-down state towards the lower frame (16) of the underframe (12) is.

According to the invention, a double or generally multiple scissors lift is provided as the lifting device, which consists of at least two single scissors lift units arranged one above the other. This enables the lifting heights required in the ambulance sector to be achieved with shortened underframes. The reclining surface now projects with its backrest part and its lower leg / foot part over the ends of the same lying in the longitudinal extension of the underframe. It is useful in this respect if the underframe or a frame of the lying surface has extendable extension elements with handle ends at its upper end, so that the underframe has longitudinal spars at its upper end, like a stretcher, which extend along the entire lying surface and possibly around the handle extend the lying surface out. But it is also possible to use the upper area of the underframe to leave it shortened and to realize the increase in length on the frame of the lying surface.

Each scissor lift unit of the lifting device of the patient transport device according to the invention has two (scissor arm) pairs each comprising a first and a second strut (scissor arm). These two struts (scissor arms) cross each other and are pivotably connected to each other. Both strut or pair of scissors are arranged laterally offset from one another and are, so to speak, on a common level and are also arranged parallel to one another. According to the invention, at least one second scissor-lift unit is connected to such a scissor-lift unit, the respective pairs of struts, which are arranged one above the other, being articulated to one another at the ends of their struts facing one another. The lower scissor lift unit is now connected to the lower part of the underframe, which is designed as a lower frame. The upper scissor lift unit is connected to the upper part of the underframe, which is designed as an upper frame. A third scissor lift unit can be located between the two scissor lift units. Alternatively, however, the two scissor lift units can also, as described above, be directly connected to one another in an articulated manner via the mutually facing ends of their intersecting struts.

An essential feature of the invention is to be able to realize the underframe in a compact manner, against the background of maintaining the lowest possible height, ie the lowest possible lower floor position (so that a patient lying on the floor hardly needs to be lifted to get on the lying surface to be able to be moved,) while at the same time enabling the highest possible position of the patient transport device.

According to the invention, the lower frame of the underframe has two longitudinal frame sections and two transverse frame cross sections, the first frame cross section facing the head end of the bed surface and the second frame cross section facing the foot end of the bed surface.

In order to give the ambulance device according to the invention a further improved stability and stability, the lower frame of the underframe is designed to be longer on the foot side than the upper frame, whereby it is provided according to the invention that the two longitudinal frame sections of the lower frame each protrude beyond its second frame cross section, whereby In each of these protruding sections of the longitudinal frame sections a steering and / or running roller is arranged, and that the lower leg / foot part of the lying surface can be immersed at its foot end in the free space between the two protruding sections when folded down towards the lower frame of the undercarriage.

In a further development of the invention, the lifting device can be operated automatically by means of a drive. It is useful if the drive has a motor with an actuator that can be moved by the motor and the drive is mechanically coupled between two adjacent scissor lift units and thus acts on these two scissor lift units to change the height of the lifting device.

In the ambulance transport device according to the invention it can also be advantageously provided that the first ends of the first struts are coupled to one another and the first ends of the second struts are coupled to one another per scissor lift unit and that the second ends of the first struts and / or the second ends of the second struts per scissor lift unit are in each case free from mechanical coupling with one another.

The lying surface of the patient transport device according to the invention, which has a head-side end, which is usually formed by a backrest, and a foot-side end, which is usually formed by a foot part, can be designed differently. As a rule, the lying surface has a holding frame or some other holding structure and can preferably be detachably fixed on and / on the upper frame of the undercarriage. As already mentioned above, the upper frame or the holding structure of the lying surface can be adjustable in length. Typically, and advantageously in the case of the invention, the lying surface comprises a central part with a first end facing the head-side end of the lying surface and a second end facing the foot-side end of the lying surface, a backrest part articulated to the first end of the central part, which is pivotable about a first pivot axis which runs transversely to the longitudinal extension of the lying surface defined by the head-side end and the foot-side end of the lying surface, and a lower leg / foot part pivoted relative to the middle part about a second pivot axis parallel to the first pivot axis, the second pivot axis viewed in the longitudinal extension of the lying surface is arranged outside the upper frame of the undercarriage. A reclining surface partitioned in this way with the previously described positioning of the second pivot axis relative to the upper frame allows the lower leg / foot part to be folded down by 90 °, so that when the backrest is folded up, a chair-style seat is created. The lying surface can thus be redesigned as a chair surface without the longitudinal extension of the upper frame or, if present, the longitudinal extension of the frame or the support structure of the lying surface extending towards the foot area beyond the lower leg foot part. The hospital chair designed in this way can now be conveniently moved to a suitable height and lowered sufficiently. In particular, the lower frame, which is shortened due to the lifting device according to the invention, is also not disruptive. On the foot side, there are no "stumbling blocks" or similar constructions of the underframe. Due to the changeability of the patient transport device between lying transport and seated transport the possibility of using the patient transport device according to the invention is expanded. In particular in its function as a hospital chair, the patient transport device can be used in confined spaces, such as, for example, in tight curves in stairwells or corridors and in particular in elevators.

In a further expedient embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the upper frame has two longitudinal frame sections and two transverse frame sections, the first transverse frame section facing the head-side end of the lying surface and the second frame transverse section facing the foot-side end of the lying surface, and the pivot axis when viewing the lying surface from above, is positioned on the side of the second frame transverse section facing away from the first frame transverse section of the upper frame.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the middle part of the lying surface can have a seat part and a lower leg part which can be pivoted relative to the seat part about a third pivot axis parallel to the first and second pivot axis and to which the lower leg / foot part is pivotably connected about the second pivot axis .

For the most efficient possible use of the smallest possible longitudinal extension of the underframe while still having a sufficiently large lifting height, it is provided according to an advantageous development of the invention that the first ends of the first struts of the lower scissor lift unit, which are rotatably connected to the lower frame of the undercarriage, are close to or on one frame cross section of the lower frame and the pivotable with the lower frame and slidably guided on the lower frame first ends of the second struts of the lower scissor lift unit in the lowest stroke position of the lifting device close to or on the other frame cross section of the lower frame. Correspondingly, it then also advantageously applies that the first ends of the first, which are rotatably connected to the upper frame of the undercarriage Struts of the upper lifting scissor unit close to or on one frame cross section of the upper frame and the first ends of the second struts of the upper lifting scissor unit, which are pivotably guided with the upper frame and slidably guided on the upper frame, in the lowest stroke position of the lifting device close to or on the other frame cross section of the upper one Frame are arranged.

In the frame or the holding structure of the advantageous embodiment of the invention it can be provided that the lying surface has two lateral profiles arranged on both sides of the lying surface with pull-out sections with grips for manually carrying the lying surface and / or for manually moving the underframe with the lying surface. As already described above, instead of an extension of the longitudinal extension of the upper frame, the frame or the holding structure of the lying surface can also have this feature. Finally, it is also possible to configure both the upper frame and the frame or a corresponding holding structure of the lying surface to be variable in length.

In the three aforementioned cases, it can also be advantageous that the pull-out sections are guided in the profiles of the lying surface and can be pulled out of these via their ends facing away from one another and pushed into the profiles via these ends.

In the Figs. 35 to 37 a patient transport device 10 according to a first exemplary embodiment is shown. The ambulance transport device 10 comprises a height-adjustable underframe 12 and a lying surface 14 which is arranged above the underframe 12 and, if necessary, can be removed from it. The subframe 12 has a lower frame 16 with running and / or four steering rollers 18. The subframe 12 further comprises an upper frame 20. Between the two frames there is a lifting device 22 which has two single scissor units arranged one above the other, namely a lower scissor lift unit 24 and an upper scissor lift unit 26. The lower scissor lift unit 24 is with the lower frame 16 coupled rotatably on the one hand and pivotably and longitudinally displaceably on the other hand, while the upper scissor lift unit 26 is mechanically coupled to the upper frame 20 in the same way. Both scissor lift units 24, 26 are articulated to one another at their ends facing one another. The two scissor lift units 24, 26 can be adjusted in height via a drive 28, which has a motor 30 and an actuator 32.

For example, using Fig. 35 can be seen, each lifting scissor unit 24 and 26 has two (scissor arm) pairs 34 of each intersecting first and second struts 36, 38 (scissor arms). The struts are pivotally connected to one another at 40. The first end 42 of the first strut 36 is rotatably connected to the lower frame 16 at 44, while the first end 46 of every other strut 38 Is guided longitudinally on the frame 16 (see at 48). In an analogous manner, the first ends of the first struts 36 of the upper scissor lift unit 26 are rotatably connected to the upper frame 20 (see at 50), while the first ends 46 of the second struts 38 are pivotably guided on the upper frame 20 as shown at 52 .

At the second ends 54, 56 of the first and second struts 36, 38 facing away from the first ends 42, the second ends 58, 60 of the second struts 38, both scissor lift units 24, 26 are articulated to one another.

The reclining surface 14 has a middle part 62 which comprises an immovable seat part 64 and a thigh part 66 articulated therewith. Towards the head end 68 of the reclining surface 14, the central part 62 has a first end 70 which is pivotably connected to a backrest part 74 of the reclining surface 14 via a first pivot axis 72. The middle part 62 also has a second end 76 which faces the foot-side end 78 of the lying surface 14 and which is articulated via a second pivot axis 80 to a lower leg / foot part 82 of the lying surface 14. A third pivot axis 83 is located between the thigh part 66 and the stationary seat part 64.

In the Figs. 36 and 37 it is shown how the lying surface 14 can be converted into a chair surface. In particular, it can be seen that the lower leg / foot part 82 plunges into a recess, that is, into a free space on the lower frame 16 when, in its function as a hospital chair, the underframe 12 is lowered so far that the foot-side end 78 of the lower leg / Foot part 82 is close to the ground on which the sub-frame 12 is moved.

Both frames 16, 20 each have two frame longitudinal sections 84, 85 (on the lower frame 16) and 86, 87 (on the upper frame 20) and two frame transverse sections 88, 89 and 90, 91, respectively. While the upper frame 20 is substantially rectangular, the lower frame 16 has on its The frame transverse section 89 on the foot side has an overhang, which is produced by overhang sections 92 of the frame longitudinal sections 84, 85. In other words, the longitudinal frame sections 84, 85 protrude outwardly beyond the transverse frame section 89 on the foot side by the protruding sections 92. This creates a free space 93 into which the lower leg / foot part 82 protrudes with the foot-side end 78 of the lying surface 14 when the lying surface 14 has been converted into a chair surface and the underframe 12 is then in its lowest possible position, like the Figs. 36 and 37 demonstrate.

Finally, reference should be made briefly to the pull-out sections 96 with the handle pieces 98 of the holding frame 98 for the lying surface 14, such as Fig. 35 shows. These pull-out sections 96 can be pushed into the longitudinal frame sections 99 (profiles) of the holding frame 98 and pulled out of them.

In the Figures 1 to 34 various embodiments of the patient transport device according to the invention are shown.

For example, the Figs. 1 to 10 a first variant of the stretcher according to the invention, in which the lying surface can be adjusted independently of the shortening of the lying surface frame.

In the Figs. 11 to 18 a second variant of the patient transport device according to the invention is shown, in which the lying surface changes automatically when the lying surface frame is changed in length.

In the Figs. 19 to 26 Another embodiment of a stretcher according to the invention is shown in which the lying surface can be adjusted independently of the length of its frame and the joint between the lower leg part and the thigh part of the lying surface can be optionally locked.

In the Figs. 27 to 34 a further embodiment of the invention is shown in which the lying surface is adjusted when its frame length changes.
