Description

Gebiet der ErfindungField of invention

The invention relates to a silencer for a firearm, in particular a handgun, and a firearm, in particular a handgun, with a silencer according to the invention.

Hintergrund der ErfindungBackground of the invention

The term “handguns” is understood to mean handguns, such as recoil-loading weapons, gas-pressure weapons, pistols or the like. The invention is described using the example of a handgun or pistol, although the present invention is not limited thereto and can also be used with long weapons.

It is known to equip firearms with a silencer in order to reduce the sound emission emanating from the gases that are under high pressure and expand explosively, flowing out of the barrel muzzle during the shot.

In the case of handguns with a movable barrel or a barrel that tilts backwards, maintaining the self-loading function of the weapon proves to be problematic if a silencer is attached to the barrel. Because one on the run or a silencer screwed onto the breech increases the mass that is returned when the shot is fired, which reduces the return speed of the barrel and breech. This can have the consequence that the self-loading function of the weapon either ceases completely or it can lead to malfunctions because, for example, the ejection of the cartridge case and / or the supply of a new cartridge are incomplete and the weapon is no longer fully locked.

In practice, attempts have been made to solve this problem by using lighter or smaller silencers. However, this has the disadvantage that with correspondingly light sound absorbers the stability of the sound absorber decreases and that in the case of smaller sound absorbers the damping effect is sometimes considerably reduced due to the smaller volume.

One solution to this problem is not to rigidly connect the silencer and the gun barrel to one another, but rather to arrange a so-called pulse generator between the silencer and the gun barrel, which allows an axial movement of the gun barrel relative to the silencer.

The use of pulse generators, however, has the disadvantage that they easily become soiled and / or damage to the threads of the pulse generator can impair the functioning of the firearm. If the barrel of the weapon tilts backwards, the silencer must also be raised when using a pulse generator, which in turn can lead to malfunctions due to the weight of the silencer.

From the DE 10 2013 107 115 A1 a silencer for a handgun is known, which has a silencer housing with a firing channel and a mounting rail. The silencer housing is fastened to a mounting rail of the handgun with the fastening rail. For this purpose, the mounting rail has two longitudinal guides arranged parallel to one another.

Aufgabe der ErfindungObject of the invention

The object of the invention is therefore to provide solutions for an alternative attachment of a silencer to a handgun, in which, in particular, the self-loading function is not impaired when the barrel is movable.

Erfindungsgemäße LösungSolution according to the invention

This object is achieved according to the invention by a silencer for a handgun and by a handgun with a silencer according to the invention according to the independent claims. Advantageous configurations and developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

On at least one side wall of the axial protrusion, preferably on the two vertical side walls of the axial protrusion, drilled holes or through holes can be provided which correspond to drilled holes on the muffler housing to accommodate fastening means.

It is advantageous if a support surface is formed at the rear end of the fastening rail which rests at least in sections on a front end of a trigger guard of the firearm when the fastening adapter is fastened to the firearm.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the silencer housing can be arranged on the fastening adapter so as to be pivotable by a predetermined angle ω relative to the fastening adapter.

A handgun, in particular a pistol, with a silencer according to the invention is also provided.

Detaillierte Beschreibung der ErfindungDetailed description of the invention

The silencer according to the invention described below has the advantage that it can be attached to or mounted and dismantled on the weapon particularly easily, safely and quickly, in particular without screwing.

Another essential advantage of the silencer according to the invention is that it can also be used for handguns that have a movable barrel. A pulse generator does not have to be used here, although the self-loading function of the handgun is still maintained. The use of the silencer according to the invention for handguns which have a retracting and tilting barrel has proven to be particularly advantageous.

A major advantage of the silencer according to the invention, however, is that it can be attached to a mounting rail of a pistol, in which the The mounting rail is not parallel to the running axis. Nevertheless, it is ensured here that the firing channel of the silencer runs exactly coaxially to the barrel of the weapon after the silencer has been mounted on the weapon.

Fig. 1 shows a side view of a muffler 10 according to the invention, in Figure (a) the muffler in the assembled state and in Figure (b) in the disassembled state (muffler housing 20 is separated from the mounting adapter 30). The silencer 10 is accordingly designed in at least two parts, the silencer housing 20 forming the first part and the fastening adapter 30 forming the second part.

The fastening adapter 30 has a fastening rail 35 and a fastening plate 31.

The fastening rail 30 is pushed onto a mounting rail of the firearm and thus fastened to the weapon. The mounting rail is arranged on the underside of the front area of the handle of the weapon, ie below the barrel of the weapon. The fastening rail 35 has two axially extending and spaced apart side walls, on the inner surfaces of which each have at least one longitudinal guide 35a (in Fig. 2 easily recognizable) are provided, which can be brought into engagement with the mounting rail of the weapon.

The fastening plate 31 is arranged at the front end of the fastening rail 35 or at the front end section VE. The fastening plate 31 is essentially perpendicular to the fastening rail 35. The fastening plate 31 and the fastening rail 35 are advantageously designed in one piece. However, they can also be designed in two parts in order to enable the fastening plate 31 to be released from the fastening rail 35. Because of the stability, however, the one-piece design is advantageous.

Due to the essentially vertical arrangement of the fastening plate 31 on the fastening rail 35, the entire fastening adapter 30 has an L-shaped basic shape, the fastening rail 35 forming one leg of the L-shaped basic shape and the fastening plate 31 forming the other leg of the L-shaped basic shape .

The fastening plate 31 has a front stop surface 32 and a rear stop surface 33, the rear stop surface 33 being that surface which, when the silencer 10 is mounted on the weapon, faces the front end of the weapon barrel. The angle ϕ between the rear stop surface 33 and the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a is approximately 90 °. Depending on the specific design of the front end of the gun barrel and / or the front end of the handle of the weapon, the angle ϕ can also be greater or smaller than 90 °.

After the silencer housing 20 has been mounted on the fastening adapter 30, a rear end wall 21 of the silencer housing 20 rests on the front stop surface 32 of the fastening plate 31. The angle β between the front stop surface 32 and the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a is in FIG Fig. 1 shown embodiment 90.8 °. The angle β can, however, be between 88.6 ° and 91.4 °, so that the front stop surface 32 is inclined backwards by up to 1.4 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAB or forward by up to 1.4 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAB is inclined. The specific angle β depends on the angle λ between the rear end wall 21 of the muffler housing 20 and the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel 25 of the muffler housing 20, as shown in detail below.

An axial projection 37 is provided on the front of the fastening plate 31, which is brought into engagement with a recess provided on the rear end wall 21 of the silencer housing 20 when the silencer housing 20 is mounted on the fastening adapter 30. Due to the axial protrusion 37 a step is created between the front stop surface 32 and the axial projection 37, so that the front stop surface 32 forms a stop surface 32 which at least partially encircles the axial projection, as in FIG Fig. 2 , Figure (b) is clearly visible.

Blind bores 40 or boreholes are provided on the two vertical side walls 41 of the protrusion 37. Alternatively, through holes 40 can also be provided which completely traverse the protrusion 37.

On the section of the muffler housing 20 surrounding the recess, through holes 42 are also provided, which correspond to the bores / holes 40 on the protrusion 37. The through-holes 42 on the muffler housing 20 and the bores / holes 40 on the protrusion 37 serve to receive fastening means, for example screws, in order to fix the muffler housing 20 to the fastening adapter 30.

In the silencer housing 20, a firing channel 25 is provided which traverses the silencer housing in the axial direction. Sound-reducing devices and / or sound-reducing means can be provided in the silencer housing 20, through which the firing channel 25 if necessary.

The angle λ between the rear end wall 21 of the muffler housing 20 and the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel 25 of the muffler housing 20 is between 88.6 ° and 91.4 °, ie the rear end wall 21 can move up to 1.4 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAS be inclined backwards or be inclined forward by up to 1.4 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAS. Depending on the angle β between the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a and the front stop surface 32, the angle λ can also be 90 °, as for example in FIG Fig. 1 shown.

According to the invention, the angle β between the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a and the front stop surface 32 and the angle λ between the rear end wall 21 of the muffler housing 20 and the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel 25 of the muffler housing 20 selected so that the sum of the two angles β and λ is between 180.2 ° and 181.4 ° or between 178.6 ° and 179.8 ° . This ensures that the firing channel 25 of the muffler housing 20 is inclined upwards or downwards by between 0.2 ° and 1.4 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a.

It has been found to be advantageous if the sum of the two angles β and λ is approximately 180.8 ° or 179.2 °, so that the firing channel 25 of the silencer housing 20 is 0.8 ° upwards or downwards relative to the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a is sloping down.

In the case of the figure (a) Fig. 1 The silencer shown, the firing channel 25 is inclined downward by 0.8 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAB, ie the angle α between the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a and the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel 25 is also 0.8 °.

The inclination of the firing channel 25 relative to the longitudinal guides 35a has the advantage that the silencer 10 can also be attached to a pistol whose mounting rail does not run parallel to the barrel axis, for example is inclined upwards by 0.8 °. This ensures that the firing channel of the silencer runs exactly coaxially to the barrel of the weapon after the silencer has been mounted on the weapon.

Without the measures according to the invention, the center of the outlet opening of the firing channel of a 160mm long silencer would protrude by about 4mm on the imaginary extension of the barrel axis with a mounting rail inclined by 0.8 ° relative to the barrel axis, i.e. the exit opening of the firing channel would no longer be concentric to the barrel axis. The consequences would then be, among other things, that the shock package would be shot, which would destroy the Damper and possibly lead to a deviation of the projectile.

This problem could also be circumvented by enlarging the diameter of the firing channel of the silencer to such an extent that the axial projection of the barrel muzzle lies within the front opening of the firing channel of the silencer. In the above example, the diameter of the firing channel of the silencer would have to be increased by 4 mm in order to ensure that the projectile can pass the firing channel unhindered. However, an increase in the diameter is accompanied by a reduction in the attenuation line, so that this is not a practicable option in practice.

The mounting rail of the weapon is usually provided for attaching weapon accessories, such as a tactical light or the like, but not for attaching a silencer, so that there is no need to align the mounting rail exactly parallel to the barrel of the weapon.

With the conventional technique of attaching the silencer to the weapon, i.e. screwing the silencer onto the front end of the barrel, the longitudinal axis of the silencer's firing channel is always coaxial with the barrel axis, so that there is no need to adjust the inclination of the firing channel to the barrel axis.

The in Fig. 1 The silencer 10 shown, the firing channel is inclined downwards by 0.8 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a (α = 0.8 °). This can compensate for an upward inclination of the mounting rail of 0.8 °.

Some weapon manufacturers supply pistols in which the mounting rail is inclined upwards by 0.8 ° relative to the barrel axis under predetermined ambient conditions (temperature and humidity). With changing environmental conditions it can then happen that this angle of inclination changes, in particular it can become smaller than 0 °. At an angle of less than 0 °, the mounting rail is inclined downward by this angle relative to the running axis.

As explained above, this negative angle can be compensated for in that the sum of the angles β and λ is less than 180 °, so that the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel is inclined upward relative to the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides.

According to the invention, however, such negative angles of inclination can also be compensated for when the sum of the angles β and λ is greater than 180 °, i.e. the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel is inclined downward relative to the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides. For this purpose, a support surface 50 is provided at the rear end of the mounting rail 35 or at the rear end of the mounting adapter 30, which comes to rest on the trigger guard of the weapon when the silencer 10 is mounted on the mounting rail of the weapon. When installing the silencer, the force with which the support surface 50 is pressed against the trigger guard causes the front section of the handle (on the underside of which the mounting rail is also located) to be pushed upwards or forced upwards by the front section of the fastening rail so that the mounting rail is inclined upwards again (e.g. by 0.8 °) relative to the running axis.

The support surface 50 runs essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the fastening rail 35. Furthermore, the support surface 50 runs between two wings 51 formed at the rear end of the fastening rail, the wings 51 being arranged essentially perpendicular to the support surface 50 and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fastening rail. The two wings 51 protrude to the rear on the support surface 50.

The support surface 50 itself here has a convex surface and is designed in such a way that it corresponds to a concave surface of the trigger guard and, when the silencer is installed, rests essentially flush on the latter.

The distance between the two wings 51 is selected so that it essentially corresponds to the width of the front end of the trigger guard. During the assembly of the silencer 10, the front end of the trigger guard comes into engagement between the two wings 51, whereby a positive fit is preferably formed between the wings and the front end of the trigger guard, that is, that the rear end of the mounting rail 35 does not move relatively in the horizontal direction can move to the trigger guard.

Instead of a convex surface of the support surface 50, the surface of the support surface can have a largely perpendicular, flat surface. A lower section of the support surface 50 can be set back slightly, i.e. a kind of step is formed between the upper section and the lower section of the support surface 50. A correspondingly designed projection of the trigger guard engages in the lower, i.e. recessed section and advantageously rests on the surface of the recessed section. The step formed between the two sections on the one hand prevents the rear end of the silencer from being able to fold down when the silencer is installed. On the other hand, this provides the force with which the front end of the fastening rail is pressed upwards.

A firing channel 36 is provided in the fastening plate 31, which in the assembled state of the silencer runs largely coaxially to the barrel axis. Due to the short length of the firing channel 36, a possibly slight inclination of up to 1.4 ° relative to the barrel axis does not have a negative effect.

The firing channel 36 can be designed to taper towards the front stop surface.

Fig. 2 shows the fastening adapter 30 according to the invention in a perspective view obliquely from behind (figure (a)) and a perspective view obliquely from the front (figure (b)).

The configuration of the rear end of the fastening rail 35 with the two wings 51 and the support surface 50 extending between the wings can be seen here.

The front stop surface 32, which runs laterally and at the top around the axial projection 37, can also be clearly seen here.

On the upper side of the fastening rail 35, the latter has two protruding side walls running parallel to one another, on the inner side of which a longitudinal guide 35a is formed in each case. When the silencer is pushed onto the mounting rail of the weapon, corresponding longitudinal guides of the mounting rail engage in these longitudinal guides 35a.

Fig. 3 shows an alternative embodiment of a silencer 10 according to the invention.

In contrast to the in Fig. 1 The embodiment shown, the angle β between the longitudinal axis LAB of the longitudinal guides 35a and the front stop surface 32 is 90 ° here. The remarks on Fig. 1 following, the sum of the two angles β and λ must be between 180.2 ° and 181.4 ° or between 178.6 ° and 179.8 °. Accordingly, the angle λ between the rear end wall 21 of the muffler housing 20 and the longitudinal axis LAS of the firing channel is between 88.6 ° and 89.8 ° or between 90.2 ° and 91.4 °. At the in Fig. 3 The embodiment shown is the angle λ 90.8 °, so that the firing channel 25 in the silencer housing is inclined downward by 0.8 ° relative to the longitudinal axis LAB.

Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment according to the invention of a muffler 10 with a pivotably arranged muffler housing 20.

In one embodiment of the silencer according to the invention, it can be provided that the angle α, i.e. the angle of inclination of the longitudinal axis LAS relative to the longitudinal axis LAB, is adjustable.

For this purpose, it can be provided that the silencer housing 20 is arranged on the fastening adapter 30 in such a way that the silencer housing can be pivoted relative to the fastening adapter about an axis of rotation DA running transversely through the fastening adapter, preferably by a pivot angle ω between -1.4 ° and +1, 4 °.

The axis of rotation DA can be formed here by a fastening pin which is passed through the lower through holes 40 of the fastening adapter 30 and the lower through holes 42 of the muffler housing 20. This fastening pin can be used at the same time to lock the muffler housing 20 in a certain pivoting angle ω.

The upper through hole 40 or the two upper through holes 40 of the fastening adapter 30 can be configured as an elongated hole with a certain radius of curvature, as in Figure (a) of the Fig. 4 shown. Fastening means passed through the upper through holes 42 of the muffler housing 20 then move along the elongated holes when the muffler housing 20 is pivoted about the axis of rotation DA. With the help of the fastening means, which are passed through the elongated holes, the muffler housing can be locked in a certain pivoting angle ω.

The pivoting angle ω can also be set with the aid of a locking screw 45, which is passed through the mounting plate 31 (preferably in the area of the front stop surface 32 above the protrusion 37) and into a threaded bushing arranged on or in the rear end wall 21 of the muffler housing 20 46 intervenes. The threaded bushing 46 is preferably rotatably mounted so that the locking screw 45 can always engage vertically in the threaded bushing 46 regardless of the pivot angle ω.

In the case of the silencers according to the invention, it is also advantageous if a seal is arranged between the protrusion 37 and the side walls in the rear section of the silencer housing 20, which seal prevents the detonating gases from escaping.
