Definitions

  • the invention relates to a laundry treatment device, preferably a laundry dryer, according to the preamble of claim 1, and a locking holder for use in such a laundry treatment device according to claim 18.
  • a heat pump basically consists of a closed heat pump circuit with a compressor (also called compressor), a condenser (also called condenser), a throttle such as e.g. an expansion valve or a capillary and an evaporator. These elements can also be referred to as a refrigeration cycle or a heat pump cycle.
  • the moisture that was previously removed from the laundry can be extracted from the dryer process air via this heat pump circuit.
  • the one previously dehumidified and heated by the heat pump circuit i.e. dried and heated process air via a fan of the heat pump circuit, the process air fan, fed through an air supply duct into a laundry drum of the tumble dryer.
  • the laundry to be dried is usually moved by rotation by means of a drum drive so that the process air can reach the laundry as completely and evenly as possible.
  • the process air absorbs moisture from the laundry and thereby dries it.
  • the moist process air then returns to the heat pump circuit via an air return duct.
  • the moisture extracted from the laundry is condensed from the process air in the evaporator and discharged to the outside in liquid form as condensate.
  • the energy extracted from the process air is then fed back into the process air through the condenser, so that the process air, dehumidified and heated, can leave the heat pump circuit in the direction of the laundry drum.
  • the process air cycle is closed in this way.
  • the heat pump is usually arranged on a so-called base plate of the tumble dryer and, together with the base plate, forms the floor module of the tumble dryer.
  • the process air duct with the evaporator and the condenser of the heat pump circuit are usually arranged on the left on the base plate. To the right of this are usually the compressor and the throttle of the heat pump circuit as well as the process air fan, which allows the process air of the process air circuit to circulate.
  • a closed flap on the left of the front of the tumble dryer which can be opened by a user or a service employee to reach the process air duct or a filter arranged in front of it can be.
  • This flap can therefore also be referred to as a process air flap or a heat exchanger flap.
  • the corresponding opening can be referred to as the process air opening.
  • a cover In the right area of the front of the tumble dryer there is usually a cover provided with slots through which ambient air can reach the components of the heat pump circuit located there in order to cool them.
  • This cover can also be removed for cleaning, maintenance and / or repair by a user or by a service employee, e.g. to reach the compressor, the throttle and the process air fan.
  • This cover can also be referred to as a fan cover.
  • the corresponding opening can be referred to as a fan opening.
  • the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover are each fastened in width on the outside in a hinge-like manner on the front of the housing of the tumble dryer. Facing one another, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover in the closed state can each be releasably attached to a front wall web of the housing of the tumble dryer, so that they can each be pivoted laterally outward to open.
  • the front wall web runs vertically in height and separates the process air opening and the fan opening from one another in width.
  • the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover In the closed state, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover should form a vertical gap in the width between their mutually facing edges, which is covered from the inside or from the rear by the front wall web of the tumble dryer. At the same time, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover should be deep flush with each other and with the front wall of the tumble dryer housing. This is intended to improve the visual impression of the two flaps for the user.
  • the two flaps are of particular importance to the optical impression of the tumble dryer, since the front of the tumble dryer usually has no other elements apart from the control panel and the door of the laundry drum. Therefore, the two flaps can attract the user comparatively strongly. Furthermore, tumble dryers are usually designed in white so that any contours and elements can appear particularly clearly.
  • the two flaps thus have different depths, this can be noticed comparatively clearly by the user. This applies even more to an unequal positioning of the two flaps in terms of height and / or width. This also applies to a non-parallel course of the two flaps to one another, which can lead to a vertical wedge-shaped gap between the two flaps. The user can visually perceive this particularly clearly when using the clothes dryer and when viewing the front of the clothes dryer associated therewith. These visual anomalies can be assessed by the user as a quality defect in the tumble dryer, which can either prevent him from buying it or, in retrospect, give the tumble dryer a poorer rating.
  • the positioning of the two flaps to one another could be improved, for example, by additional positioning aids which could be arranged or formed on the front wall web.
  • additional positioning aids which could be arranged or formed on the front wall web.
  • this is prevented by the enamelling, since the dimensional inaccuracies of the front wall web also affect positioning aids attached to this and the disadvantages caused by this could not be eliminated.
  • one flap could cover the other flap in the closed state, so that a gap between the two closed flaps could be avoided.
  • the two flaps could also be held by means of horizontal hinges.
  • this can lead to significant design changes to the two flaps, which can mean a corresponding effort. This can also irritate a user if he is used to laterally pivoting flaps.
  • horizontal hinges can require a larger installation space, which can have a detrimental effect on the design of the tumble dryer.
  • FIG. 2013/0318874 A1 An example of a household appliance with several contiguous flaps with horizontal hinges is from US 2013/0318874 A1 known.
  • the flaps are partially arranged one above the other and next to one another in such a way that a gap is formed between the flaps.
  • the flaps are each assigned separate adjustment mechanisms.
  • a tumble dryer which has a process air opening and a fan opening on its housing front side, which are arranged side by side.
  • the process air opening can be closed by means of a swivel-mounted heat exchanger flap.
  • a fan cover with a lattice structure is fixed in the fan opening, which enables air to be supplied to internal device components, but cannot be opened.
  • the heat exchanger flap and fan cover form a vertical gap between them.
  • the fan cover has a bolt which engages in a bolt catch arranged on the heat exchanger flap in order to keep it in the closed position.
  • a similar tumble dryer in which a heat exchanger flap and a fan cover form a vertical gap between them, is also from the US 2016/0053426 A1 known.
  • a tumble dryer with an inspection flap which closes a housing opening formed in the front wall of the housing.
  • the inspection flap is mounted pivotably via a hinge block fixed in the housing opening.
  • the invention thus poses the problem of providing a laundry treatment appliance, preferably a laundry dryer, of the type described at the outset, so that a parallel and preferably narrow gap can be created between the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover.
  • the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover should be as flush as possible with one another in terms of width and / or in height and / or in depth with the front of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance. This should be achieved as simply, durable, reproducible and / or inexpensive as possible.
  • At least one alternative to known laundry treatment devices of this type is to be created.
  • a laundry treatment device preferably by a clothes dryer, having the features of claim 1 and by a locking holder having the features of claim 18.
  • the present invention thus relates to a laundry treatment device, preferably a tumble dryer, with a housing front side with a process air opening and with a fan opening, the process air opening and the fan opening being separated from one another in width by a substantially vertical front wall web of the housing front side, the process air opening having a heat exchanger flap , which is designed to close the process air opening in the closed state, the fan opening having a fan cover, which is designed to close the fan opening in the closed state, and wherein the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover are formed, in the closed state in width between them to form a vertical gap which, viewed in depth from the front, is arranged in front of the front wall web.
  • a locking holder is provided, which is arranged in the depth behind the front wall web and designed to hold the heat exchanger flap and / or the fan cover in the closed state while bypassing the front wall web.
  • contact between the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover with the front wall web is bypassed by designing and arranging the locking holder as an adapter, so to speak, in order to establish a defined contact between the heat exchanger flap and fan cover and the front of the laundry treatment appliance housing.
  • a second web can be created by the locking holder, which is arranged parallel to the front wall web on the inside behind it and has no contact with the front wall web, so that its dimensional fluctuations cannot affect the mounting and positioning of the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover. Details of the lock holder are described in more detail below.
  • the locking holder is preferably made of plastic in order to keep the additional weight as low as possible. This can be done particularly inexpensively as an injection molded part.
  • the width of the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover are laterally outwardly held in a pivotable manner by at least one hinge on the front side of the laundry treatment appliance, so that their side edges face each other in the closed state and lie parallel to each other on the front side of the housing and form the perpendicular gap between them can.
  • the locking holder has a central region which extends essentially in height, the central region having an upper head region and a lower head region, which are each formed outstandingly in depth towards the inside of the front side of the housing, the locking holder with its upper head area and with its lower head area rests in depth from the inside and in height in each case below and above the front wall web on the inside of the front side of the housing.
  • the locking holder is designed to be bulbous in its central region, so that the central region of the locking holder is sufficiently spaced in depth from the front wall ridge so as not to have any contact with one another.
  • the locking holder can be positioned and held securely and in a defined manner via its two head regions on the inside of the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance where there are no such dimensional fluctuations. This allows the locking holder to be positioned in a defined manner relative to the front of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance, which can be transferred to the heat exchanger flap and to the fan cover via the locking holder, as will be described in more detail below.
  • the two head areas or at least one of the two head areas can preferably be held on the inside of the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance by means of gluing.
  • This assembly step can be performed under guidance of the locking holder to be glued e.g. take place by means of a corresponding device, so that a defined positioning of the locking holder over its two head areas on the inside of the housing front side of the laundry treatment appliance can be ensured, which can then be adhered to by the adhesive at least for the purpose of assembly.
  • the bonded locking holder can preferably also be held in a form-fitting manner in a subsequent step, as will be described in more detail below.
  • the locking holder is held in a form-fitting manner over the upper head area and / or the lower head area in depth from the inside by at least one element, preferably by at least one air guiding element, of the laundry treatment appliance.
  • the locking holder can be held in a form-fitting manner over its two head areas or at least one of its two head areas by a further element, so that a secure hold of the defined positioning can be guaranteed during operation and as permanently as possible.
  • an air guiding element such as a section or a component of the lateral or upper boundary of the process air duct can preferably be used to cover this function by means of an already existing component so that additional components can be dispensed with. This can simplify the implementation of this holder and make the use of the locking holder inexpensive.
  • At least one elastic compensation element is arranged in the depth between the upper head area and / or the lower head area and the respective element in order to exert a resilient force on the respective head area and to hold it on the inside of the housing front .
  • the width of the central area is essentially arranged outside the process air opening and / or the fan opening.
  • the locking holder is arranged behind the front wall web in such a way that, viewed from the front, the locking holder is covered as completely as possible by the front wall web and thus protrudes as little as possible into the process air opening and / or into the fan opening.
  • the process air opening and / or the fan opening can be left free from the locking holder as completely as possible in order to disturb and reduce the air flow through the locking holder as little as possible.
  • the locking holder preferably its central area, has at least one first positioning element for the heat exchanger flap, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap is in a width as well as in height defined position can be held.
  • This can be implemented, for example, via a projection of the locking holder, which extends in depth forwards and can be encompassed in width and in height by a corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap in the form of an opening.
  • a form-fitting hold can be achieved both in terms of width and height, which can thus also specify the positioning of the heat exchanger flap at this point relative to the locking holder and thus also relative to the front side of the laundry treatment appliance.
  • This can contribute to or improve a predetermined alignment of the heat exchanger flap with respect to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance and with respect to the fan cover.
  • the first positioning element of the locking holder and the corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap can also be designed in reverse.
  • the locking holder preferably its central area, has at least one second positioning element for the heat exchangers flap, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position at least in terms of width, the two positioning elements for the heat exchanger flap being arranged offset from one another at least in height.
  • the second positioning element of the locking holder and its corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap can be designed similarly to the first positioning element or differently.
  • the second positioning element of the locking holder can only be used for defined positioning in terms of width, since this alignment is more relevant than the height alignment for a gap that is as vertical as possible between the edges of the heat exchanger flap and the housing cover, which are as parallel as possible.
  • jamming in height can be prevented in that the second positioning element of the locking holder has a certain tolerance in the direction. This can be achieved, for example, by designing the interacting contact partners of the locking holder and the heat exchanger flap to be elongated in height.
  • the locking holder preferably its central area, has at least one spacer element for the heat exchanger flap, which is designed to support the heat exchanger flap in depth from the inside so that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position in depth .
  • This can enable a defined positioning of the heat exchanger flap in the depth, so that the closed heat exchanger flap can be closed as flush as possible with the front of the housing and / or with the closed fan cover. This can be implemented simply in that the closed heat exchanger flap rests in the depth against the spacer element and thus cannot be moved further towards the housing front side of the laundry treatment appliance.
  • the locking holder preferably its central region, has at least one pair of spacer elements for the heat exchanger flap, each of which is designed to support the heat exchanger flap in depth from the inside so that the heat exchanger flap is in a defined position in depth can be held, wherein the two spacer elements for the heat exchanger flap are arranged offset from one another at least in height.
  • the above-described effect of the spacer element can be improved by implementing this function at at least two points, so that the closed heat exchanger flap can be supported more flatly from behind.
  • This can still have the advantages described above reinforce or make them more effective.
  • This can be facilitated in particular by the fact that the spacer elements are offset in height from one another and therefore a laterally pivoting heat exchanger flap can be supported several times from the inside precisely where it is most mobile and therefore can also have the greatest inaccuracies in positioning.
  • At least one spacer element for the heat exchanger flap has a latching receptacle which is designed to receive a corresponding latching element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position in a form-fitting manner in depth.
  • a latching function can also be implemented by means of the spacer element or the two spacer elements in order to hold the heat exchanger flap in the closed state in the predetermined position, which can be predetermined in depth by the spacer element or by the spacer elements.
  • the locking function can e.g. as described in more detail below.
  • the locking holder preferably its central region, has at least one latching element for the heat exchanger flap, which is designed to receive a corresponding latching element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position in a form-fitting depth.
  • the latching element can, for example, be a hook which can resiliently engage behind a corresponding projection, wherein the hook can be arranged on the locking holder and the projection on the heat exchanger flap, or vice versa.
  • the two latching elements and at least one spacer element of the locking holder are preferably coordinated with one another in such a way that the heat exchanger flap engages precisely when it rests against the spacer element.
  • the heat exchanger flap can be held as secure and free of play as possible in a defined position relative to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance.
  • the locking holder preferably its central area, has at least one first positioning element for the fan cover, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the fan cover in such a way that the fan cover is in a width as well as in height defined position can be held.
  • the same properties and advantages for the fan cover can be achieved as described above for the heat exchanger flap.
  • the locking holder preferably its central area, has at least one second positioning element for the fan cover, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the fan cover in such a way that the fan cover can be held in a defined position at least in width , the two positioning elements for the fan cover being arranged offset from one another at least in height.
  • the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.
  • the locking holder preferably its central area, has at least one spacer element for the fan cover, which is designed to support the fan cover in depth from the inside so that the fan cover can be held in a defined position in depth .
  • the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.
  • the locking holder preferably its central region, has at least one pair of spacer elements for the fan cover, which are each designed to support the fan cover in depth from the inside so that the fan cover is in a defined position in depth can be held, wherein the two spacer elements for the fan cover are arranged offset from one another at least in height.
  • the locking holder preferably its central region, has at least one latching element for the fan cover, which is designed to receive a corresponding latching element of the fan cover in such a way that the fan cover can be positively held in a defined position in terms of depth.
  • the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.
  • the two positioning elements for the heat exchanger flap and / or the two spacer elements are for the heat exchangers flap and / or the two positioning elements for the fan cover and / or the two spacer elements for the fan cover are each arranged closer in height to the respective edge of the head area than to one another. In this way, the respective effect of the corresponding element can be distributed as far as possible over the height of the heat exchanger flap or the fan cover. This can lead to better positioning of the heat exchanger flap or the fan cover with respect to one another and / or with respect to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance.
  • Arranging in close proximity to the respective edge of the head area can be advantageous in order to bring the respective effect of the corresponding element in height and / or width as close as possible to the edge of the heat exchanger flap or the fan cover.
  • This can lead to a particularly good positioning of the heat exchanger flap or the fan cover relative to one another or relative to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance.
  • Immediate proximity to the respective edge is to be understood as meaning that, depending on the application, the corresponding element is arranged so close to the respective edge that it can perform its function, but at the same time the distance to the edge is relatively small to minimal.
  • the present invention also relates to a locking holder for use in a laundry treatment device, preferably in a household appliance, particularly preferably in a tumble dryer or in a washer-dryer, as described above, the locking holder being formed in the depth behind a vertical front wall web of a housing front side of the laundry treatment device to be, wherein the locking holder is further designed to hold a heat exchanger flap and / or a fan cover in the closed state while bypassing the front wall web.
  • a locking holder can be created in order to implement a laundry treatment device as described above and to use its properties and advantages.
  • a longitudinal direction X extends, which can also be referred to as depth X.
  • a transverse direction Y which can also be referred to as width Y, extends perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.
  • a vertical direction Z which can also be referred to as the height Z, extends perpendicular to both the longitudinal direction X and the transverse direction Y.
  • the Figure 1 shows a laundry dryer 1 as laundry treatment device 1.
  • laundry dryer 1 has a housing front side 10, which can also be referred to as housing front wall 10.
  • a control panel 11 or the control elements 11 of the tumble dryer 1 are arranged in the upper region of the front side 10 of the housing.
  • a door 12 is arranged in the center on the front side 10 of the housing and can close an opening through which the laundry drum located behind is accessible.
  • a heat exchanger flap 13 is arranged on the left and a fan cover 15 is arranged next to it on the right.
  • the heat exchanger flap 13 closes a process air opening 14, see Figure 4 , via which a process air duct of a heat pump of the tumble dryer 1 is accessible.
  • the fan cover 15 closes a fan opening 16 through which components of the heat pump and a process air fan are accessible.
  • the fan cover 15 has a plurality of horizontal slots so that ambient air can pass through the fan cover 15 to the components of the heat pump behind it and to the process air fan in order to cool them.
  • the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 are each held in the width Y on the outside by a hinge, so that they open the process air opening 14 or the fan opening 16 outwards to the edge of the housing front 10 and to close the process air opening 14 or the fan opening 16 can each be pivoted towards each other.
  • the two vertical edges of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15, each facing away from the hinge in the width Y are, ie point towards each other towards the center, are aligned parallel to each other in the closed state and form a perpendicular gap 17 between them, see Figure 1 .
  • the front wall web 18 Since the front wall web 18 is enameled, the front wall web 18 usually has strong dimensional fluctuations in the width Y and in particular in the depth X, see depth fluctuation B of the Figure 5 so that the two vertical edges of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 resting on the front wall web 18 cannot be positioned in a defined manner. This can lead to positioning deviations of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 in depth X, so that the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 cannot be flush with one another and / or with the housing front 10. This can also lead to the two vertical edges of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 not running parallel to one another, as a result of which a rather wedge-shaped gap 17 can form. These positioning errors of the heat exchanger flap 13 and fan cover 15 can lead to optical defects from the perspective of a user.
  • a locking holder 2 is therefore provided, which is designed as an injection-molded part made of plastic and is arranged in depth X behind the front wall web 18, see e.g. Figure 5 .
  • the locking holder 2 extends essentially at the height Z and is arcuate or bulbous at the depth X, see for example Figure 3 or 5 .
  • the locking holder 2 has a central region 20 which runs in the depth X behind and parallel to the front wall web 18.
  • the middle area 20 terminates at the height Z at the top with an upper head area 20a and at the bottom with a lower head area 20b, each of which is designed to be outstanding towards the front at the depth X, see, for example Figure 3 or 5 .
  • the two head regions 20a, 20b each rest from the inside on the inside of the housing front side 10 in an area which is not enameled and therefore does not have the strong dimensional fluctuations caused by this.
  • this is arranged at depth X behind the front wall web 18 and does not touch it, so that the dimensional fluctuations of the enamelled front wall web 18 can be kept away from the locking holder 2. Since the locking holder 2 is also designed to hold the heat exchanger flap 13 and to keep the fan cover 15 in the closed state, the front wall web 18 can be bypassed in this way.
  • the two head regions 20a, 20b are initially glued onto the inside of the housing front 10. This is done using a positioning device so that the locking holder 2 can be safely and predeterminedly positioned. Subsequently, the two head regions 20a, 20b are each provided with an elastic compensating element 29 in depth X, which resiliently exerts a force on the respective head region 20a, 20b and can thus hold it securely on the inside of the housing front 10.
  • the two elastic compensating elements 29 are each held by an element 19 of the laundry treatment appliance 1 which, as an air guiding element 19, is part of the process air duct, so that this holding function can be implemented without additional components.
  • the locking holder 2 can be positioned very precisely in a predetermined manner, so that this positioning accuracy can be transferred to the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 in the closed state.
  • the middle area 20 of the locking holder 2 has a first positioning element 21 in the form of a round hole 21 protruding into the process air opening 14 in the width Y near the upper head area 20a and a second positioning element 22 in the form of a height near the lower head area 20b Z extending elongated hole 22.
  • the heat exchanger flap 13 has, at the corresponding points on its inside, facing inward at depth X, a corresponding holding element 13a, which is designed as a projection 13a. In the closed state, the two projections 13a can engage in the two holes 21, 22, see Figure 6 , and position the heat exchanger flap 13 in a predetermined position relative to the locking holder 2 and thus also relative to the housing front 10.
  • Positioning both in the height Z and in the width Y is achieved through the round hole 21, while the elongated hole 22 is only used for positioning in the width Y.
  • the positioning accuracy of the heat exchanger flap 13 in the width Y can be improved, since this is essential for the visual impression of the gap 17.
  • jamming of the heat exchanger flap 13 at the level Z can be avoided.
  • the middle area 20 of the locking holder 2 has a spacing element 24, which can be referred to as pegs 24 or ribs 24 and protrudes from the middle area 20, and protrudes into the process air opening 14 in the width Y near the two holes 21, 22 protrude to the front at depth X.
  • a spacing element 24 can be referred to as pegs 24 or ribs 24 and protrudes from the middle area 20, and protrudes into the process air opening 14 in the width Y near the two holes 21, 22 protrude to the front at depth X.
  • the heat exchanger flap 13 can be held in this position by the two spacer elements 24 at least with a certain amount of force, since the two spacer elements 24 each have a latching receptacle 24a in the form of an indentation 24a, in each of which a first latching element 13b in the form of a projection 13b in the width Y can engage resiliently, see Figure 7 . This allows the predetermined positioning to be held directly.
  • the central region 20 of the locking holder 2 points into the process air opening 14 in the width Y, projecting approximately at the height Z in the center, see Figure 4 , a latching element 23 in the form of a hook 23 which can resiliently engage behind a corresponding second latching element 13c of the heat exchanger flap 13 in the form of a corresponding hook 13c, see Figure 8 . In this way, an additional form-fitting mounting of the heat exchanger flap 13 in the closed state can be achieved.
  • the central area 20 of the locking holder 2 has a first positioning element 25 in the form of a pin 25, which projects in the depth X to the front in the fan opening 16 in the width Y, near the upper head area 20a stands out.
  • a comparable second positioning element 26 in the form of a second pin 26 is arranged near the lower head region 20b.
  • Both positioning elements 25, 26 are encompassed in the closed state of the fan cover 15 by corresponding holding elements 15a on the inside of the fan cover 15 in the form of receptacles 15a, see Figure 6 so that the pins 25, 26 can be held in the receptacles 15a. In this way, a predetermined positioning of the fan cover 15 can be achieved both in the height Z and in the width Y with respect to the locking holder 2 and thus also with respect to the front side 10 of the housing.
  • the middle areas of the two pins 25, 26 are designed with a predetermined extent in depth X, so that a spacer element 28 is formed in each case, against which the receptacles 15a of the fan cover 15 rest in its closed state, see Figure 6 . In this way, a predetermined positioning in depth X can be achieved via the two pins 25, 26 at the same time.
  • the central region 20 of the locking holder 2 has in each case protruding into the fan opening 16 in the width Y approximately at height Z below the two pins 25, 26 a latching element 27 in the form of a hook 27, which can engage behind a corresponding latching element 15b of the fan cover 15 in the form of a corresponding hook 15b in a resilient manner. In this way, a simpler, more secure and releasable hold of the predetermined positioning of the fan cover 15 can be achieved.
  • This positioning of both the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 can, thanks to the locking holder 2, be taken up and held more precisely than previously known due to the circumvention of the dimensionally inaccurate front wall web 18. This can be done simply, safely and inexpensively by using the locking holder 2 in that the chain of tolerances for the gap 17 formed between the heat exchanger flap 13 and the housing cover 15 can be significantly reduced. This can lead to the desired visual appearance of the vertical gap 17.

Description

The invention relates to a laundry treatment device, preferably a laundry dryer, according to the preamble of claim 1, and a locking holder for use in such a laundry treatment device according to claim 18.

With many electrical devices nowadays, the user pays great attention to energy efficiency, so that the energy efficiency of an electrical device in operation can be a significant factor in the purchase decision of the user as the end customer. This also applies to household appliances in general and in particular household appliances such as Tumble dryers or washer dryers, which can have a comparatively high energy requirement in operation.

In order to achieve the highest possible energy efficiency in operation, especially with tumble dryers and washer dryers, these are usually designed as heat pump dryers, since heat pumps can basically be operated in a comparatively energy-efficient manner. Heat pump tumble dryers and heat pump washer dryers are therefore widespread on the market.

A heat pump basically consists of a closed heat pump circuit with a compressor (also called compressor), a condenser (also called condenser), a throttle such as e.g. an expansion valve or a capillary and an evaporator. These elements can also be referred to as a refrigeration cycle or a heat pump cycle. The moisture that was previously removed from the laundry can be extracted from the dryer process air via this heat pump circuit.

From the point of view of the process air circuit, the one previously dehumidified and heated by the heat pump circuit, i.e. dried and heated process air via a fan of the heat pump circuit, the process air fan, fed through an air supply duct into a laundry drum of the tumble dryer. In the laundry drum, the laundry to be dried is usually moved by rotation by means of a drum drive so that the process air can reach the laundry as completely and evenly as possible. The process air absorbs moisture from the laundry and thereby dries it. The moist process air then returns to the heat pump circuit via an air return duct.

Inside the heat pump, the moisture extracted from the laundry is condensed from the process air in the evaporator and discharged to the outside in liquid form as condensate.

The energy extracted from the process air is then fed back into the process air through the condenser, so that the process air, dehumidified and heated, can leave the heat pump circuit in the direction of the laundry drum. The process air cycle is closed in this way.

The heat pump is usually arranged on a so-called base plate of the tumble dryer and, together with the base plate, forms the floor module of the tumble dryer. The process air duct with the evaporator and the condenser of the heat pump circuit are usually arranged on the left on the base plate. To the right of this are usually the compressor and the throttle of the heat pump circuit as well as the process air fan, which allows the process air of the process air circuit to circulate.

In order to make the process air duct accessible for cleaning, maintenance and / or repair, there is usually a closed flap on the left of the front of the tumble dryer, which can be opened by a user or a service employee to reach the process air duct or a filter arranged in front of it can be. This flap can therefore also be referred to as a process air flap or a heat exchanger flap. The corresponding opening can be referred to as the process air opening.

In the right area of the front of the tumble dryer there is usually a cover provided with slots through which ambient air can reach the components of the heat pump circuit located there in order to cool them. This cover can also be removed for cleaning, maintenance and / or repair by a user or by a service employee, e.g. to reach the compressor, the throttle and the process air fan. This cover can also be referred to as a fan cover. The corresponding opening can be referred to as a fan opening.

Usually, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover are each fastened in width on the outside in a hinge-like manner on the front of the housing of the tumble dryer. Facing one another, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover in the closed state can each be releasably attached to a front wall web of the housing of the tumble dryer, so that they can each be pivoted laterally outward to open. The front wall web runs vertically in height and separates the process air opening and the fan opening from one another in width.

In the closed state, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover should form a vertical gap in the width between their mutually facing edges, which is covered from the inside or from the rear by the front wall web of the tumble dryer. At the same time, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover should be deep flush with each other and with the front wall of the tumble dryer housing. This is intended to improve the visual impression of the two flaps for the user.

The two flaps are of particular importance to the optical impression of the tumble dryer, since the front of the tumble dryer usually has no other elements apart from the control panel and the door of the laundry drum. Therefore, the two flaps can attract the user comparatively strongly. Furthermore, tumble dryers are usually designed in white so that any contours and elements can appear particularly clearly.

If the two flaps thus have different depths, this can be noticed comparatively clearly by the user.

These dimensional inaccuracies in the arrangement of the two flaps can be caused by the fact that the front wall web is usually enameled, as a result of which the front wall web can be subjected to strong fluctuations in depth. As a result of the enamelling, the front wall web can thus be subject to strong dimensional fluctuations, which can lead to the previously described negative influences on the visual appearance of the closed flaps. More precisely, this can lead to unequal depths of the two flaps and a non-parallel and perpendicular wedge-shaped gap between the two flaps.

To prevent this, the positioning of the two flaps to one another could be improved, for example, by additional positioning aids which could be arranged or formed on the front wall web. However, this is prevented by the enamelling, since the dimensional inaccuracies of the front wall web also affect positioning aids attached to this and the disadvantages caused by this could not be eliminated.

Alternatively, one flap could cover the other flap in the closed state, so that a gap between the two closed flaps could be avoided. However, this would require major changes in design. This would also result in a Flush closure of both flaps in the depth of the tumble dryer can be prevented, which for optical reasons can be perceived as very annoying by the user.

Alternatively, it would be possible to increase the width of the gap between the two closed flaps in order to conceal the tolerances. However, this would optically emphasize the gap more, which cannot be wanted for optical reasons.

Alternatively, the two flaps could also be held by means of horizontal hinges. However, this can lead to significant design changes to the two flaps, which can mean a corresponding effort. This can also irritate a user if he is used to laterally pivoting flaps. Furthermore, horizontal hinges can require a larger installation space, which can have a detrimental effect on the design of the tumble dryer.

An example of a household appliance with several contiguous flaps with horizontal hinges is from US 2013/0318874 A1 known. The flaps are partially arranged one above the other and next to one another in such a way that a gap is formed between the flaps. To set a uniform vertical and horizontal gap pattern and to align the flaps with respect to one another, the flaps are each assigned separate adjustment mechanisms.

From the WO 2017/194090 A1 a tumble dryer is known which has a process air opening and a fan opening on its housing front side, which are arranged side by side. The process air opening can be closed by means of a swivel-mounted heat exchanger flap. A fan cover with a lattice structure is fixed in the fan opening, which enables air to be supplied to internal device components, but cannot be opened. When the heat exchanger flap is closed, the heat exchanger flap and fan cover form a vertical gap between them. The fan cover has a bolt which engages in a bolt catch arranged on the heat exchanger flap in order to keep it in the closed position.

A similar tumble dryer, in which a heat exchanger flap and a fan cover form a vertical gap between them, is also from the US 2016/0053426 A1 known.

From the EP 2 801 656 A2 a tumble dryer with an inspection flap is known which closes a housing opening formed in the front wall of the housing. The inspection flap is mounted pivotably via a hinge block fixed in the housing opening.

The invention thus poses the problem of providing a laundry treatment appliance, preferably a laundry dryer, of the type described at the outset, so that a parallel and preferably narrow gap can be created between the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover. Alternatively or additionally, the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover should be as flush as possible with one another in terms of width and / or in height and / or in depth with the front of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance. This should be achieved as simply, durable, reproducible and / or inexpensive as possible. At least one alternative to known laundry treatment devices of this type is to be created.

According to the invention, this problem is solved by a laundry treatment device, preferably by a clothes dryer, having the features of claim 1 and by a locking holder having the features of claim 18. Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention emerge from the following subclaims.

The present invention thus relates to a laundry treatment device, preferably a tumble dryer, with a housing front side with a process air opening and with a fan opening, the process air opening and the fan opening being separated from one another in width by a substantially vertical front wall web of the housing front side, the process air opening having a heat exchanger flap , which is designed to close the process air opening in the closed state, the fan opening having a fan cover, which is designed to close the fan opening in the closed state, and wherein the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover are formed, in the closed state in width between them to form a vertical gap which, viewed in depth from the front, is arranged in front of the front wall web.

Such laundry treatment devices are known from the prior art and have the disadvantages described at the beginning, since the enamelled front wall web is usually subject to strong dimensional fluctuations which, when closed, are transferred to the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover and to a non-parallel web between them facing edges of the heat exchanger flap and fan cover.

According to the invention, these disadvantages are addressed in that a locking holder is provided, which is arranged in the depth behind the front wall web and designed to hold the heat exchanger flap and / or the fan cover in the closed state while bypassing the front wall web. In other words, contact between the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover with the front wall web is bypassed by designing and arranging the locking holder as an adapter, so to speak, in order to establish a defined contact between the heat exchanger flap and fan cover and the front of the laundry treatment appliance housing. This leads to a further component that has to be manufactured and assembled. However, the disadvantages described above can be overcome in this way, which can justify the additional effort due to the improved optical appearance of the front of the laundry treatment appliance.

In other words, a second web can be created by the locking holder, which is arranged parallel to the front wall web on the inside behind it and has no contact with the front wall web, so that its dimensional fluctuations cannot affect the mounting and positioning of the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover. Details of the lock holder are described in more detail below.

The locking holder is preferably made of plastic in order to keep the additional weight as low as possible. This can be done particularly inexpensively as an injection molded part.

Preferably, the width of the heat exchanger flap and the fan cover are laterally outwardly held in a pivotable manner by at least one hinge on the front side of the laundry treatment appliance, so that their side edges face each other in the closed state and lie parallel to each other on the front side of the housing and form the perpendicular gap between them can.

According to one aspect of the invention, the locking holder has a central region which extends essentially in height, the central region having an upper head region and a lower head region, which are each formed outstandingly in depth towards the inside of the front side of the housing, the locking holder with its upper head area and with its lower head area rests in depth from the inside and in height in each case below and above the front wall web on the inside of the front side of the housing. In other words, the locking holder is designed to be bulbous in its central region, so that the central region of the locking holder is sufficiently spaced in depth from the front wall ridge so as not to have any contact with one another.

This can prevent the strong dimensional fluctuations of the front wall web from being transferred to the heat exchanger flap and to the fan cover via the locking holder. At the same time, the locking holder can be positioned and held securely and in a defined manner via its two head regions on the inside of the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance where there are no such dimensional fluctuations. This allows the locking holder to be positioned in a defined manner relative to the front of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance, which can be transferred to the heat exchanger flap and to the fan cover via the locking holder, as will be described in more detail below.

The two head areas or at least one of the two head areas can preferably be held on the inside of the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance by means of gluing. This assembly step can be performed under guidance of the locking holder to be glued e.g. take place by means of a corresponding device, so that a defined positioning of the locking holder over its two head areas on the inside of the housing front side of the laundry treatment appliance can be ensured, which can then be adhered to by the adhesive at least for the purpose of assembly. The bonded locking holder can preferably also be held in a form-fitting manner in a subsequent step, as will be described in more detail below.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder is held in a form-fitting manner over the upper head area and / or the lower head area in depth from the inside by at least one element, preferably by at least one air guiding element, of the laundry treatment appliance. In this way, the locking holder can be held in a form-fitting manner over its two head areas or at least one of its two head areas by a further element, so that a secure hold of the defined positioning can be guaranteed during operation and as permanently as possible.

For this purpose, an air guiding element such as a section or a component of the lateral or upper boundary of the process air duct can preferably be used to cover this function by means of an already existing component so that additional components can be dispensed with. This can simplify the implementation of this holder and make the use of the locking holder inexpensive.

According to a further aspect of the invention, at least one elastic compensation element is arranged in the depth between the upper head area and / or the lower head area and the respective element in order to exert a resilient force on the respective head area and to hold it on the inside of the housing front . In this way, dimensional inaccuracies at this point can be compensated for by the elastic compensating element and a predetermined minimum force can be applied to the respective head area in order to hold it securely.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the width of the central area is essentially arranged outside the process air opening and / or the fan opening. In other words, the locking holder is arranged behind the front wall web in such a way that, viewed from the front, the locking holder is covered as completely as possible by the front wall web and thus protrudes as little as possible into the process air opening and / or into the fan opening. As a result, the process air opening and / or the fan opening can be left free from the locking holder as completely as possible in order to disturb and reduce the air flow through the locking holder as little as possible.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central area, has at least one first positioning element for the heat exchanger flap, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap is in a width as well as in height defined position can be held. This can be implemented, for example, via a projection of the locking holder, which extends in depth forwards and can be encompassed in width and in height by a corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap in the form of an opening. As a result, a form-fitting hold can be achieved both in terms of width and height, which can thus also specify the positioning of the heat exchanger flap at this point relative to the locking holder and thus also relative to the front side of the laundry treatment appliance. This can contribute to or improve a predetermined alignment of the heat exchanger flap with respect to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance and with respect to the fan cover. Alternatively, the first positioning element of the locking holder and the corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap can also be designed in reverse.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central area, has at least one second positioning element for the heat exchangers flap, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position at least in terms of width, the two positioning elements for the heat exchanger flap being arranged offset from one another at least in height. The second positioning element of the locking holder and its corresponding holding element of the heat exchanger flap can be designed similarly to the first positioning element or differently.

In any case, the second positioning element of the locking holder can only be used for defined positioning in terms of width, since this alignment is more relevant than the height alignment for a gap that is as vertical as possible between the edges of the heat exchanger flap and the housing cover, which are as parallel as possible. At the same time, jamming in height can be prevented in that the second positioning element of the locking holder has a certain tolerance in the direction. This can be achieved, for example, by designing the interacting contact partners of the locking holder and the heat exchanger flap to be elongated in height.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central area, has at least one spacer element for the heat exchanger flap, which is designed to support the heat exchanger flap in depth from the inside so that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position in depth . This can enable a defined positioning of the heat exchanger flap in the depth, so that the closed heat exchanger flap can be closed as flush as possible with the front of the housing and / or with the closed fan cover. This can be implemented simply in that the closed heat exchanger flap rests in the depth against the spacer element and thus cannot be moved further towards the housing front side of the laundry treatment appliance.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central region, has at least one pair of spacer elements for the heat exchanger flap, each of which is designed to support the heat exchanger flap in depth from the inside so that the heat exchanger flap is in a defined position in depth can be held, wherein the two spacer elements for the heat exchanger flap are arranged offset from one another at least in height. As a result, the above-described effect of the spacer element can be improved by implementing this function at at least two points, so that the closed heat exchanger flap can be supported more flatly from behind. This can still have the advantages described above reinforce or make them more effective. This can be facilitated in particular by the fact that the spacer elements are offset in height from one another and therefore a laterally pivoting heat exchanger flap can be supported several times from the inside precisely where it is most mobile and therefore can also have the greatest inaccuracies in positioning.

According to a further aspect of the invention, at least one spacer element for the heat exchanger flap has a latching receptacle which is designed to receive a corresponding latching element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position in a form-fitting manner in depth. In this way, a latching function can also be implemented by means of the spacer element or the two spacer elements in order to hold the heat exchanger flap in the closed state in the predetermined position, which can be predetermined in depth by the spacer element or by the spacer elements. The locking function can e.g. as described in more detail below.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central region, has at least one latching element for the heat exchanger flap, which is designed to receive a corresponding latching element of the heat exchanger flap in such a way that the heat exchanger flap can be held in a defined position in a form-fitting depth. In this way, an effective, simple and detachable holder can be created to hold the heat exchanger flap in the closed state. The latching element can, for example, be a hook which can resiliently engage behind a corresponding projection, wherein the hook can be arranged on the locking holder and the projection on the heat exchanger flap, or vice versa.

The two latching elements and at least one spacer element of the locking holder are preferably coordinated with one another in such a way that the heat exchanger flap engages precisely when it rests against the spacer element. As a result, the heat exchanger flap can be held as secure and free of play as possible in a defined position relative to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central area, has at least one first positioning element for the fan cover, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the fan cover in such a way that the fan cover is in a width as well as in height defined position can be held. In this way, the the same properties and advantages for the fan cover can be achieved as described above for the heat exchanger flap.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central area, has at least one second positioning element for the fan cover, which is designed to receive a corresponding holding element of the fan cover in such a way that the fan cover can be held in a defined position at least in width , the two positioning elements for the fan cover being arranged offset from one another at least in height. In this way, the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central area, has at least one spacer element for the fan cover, which is designed to support the fan cover in depth from the inside so that the fan cover can be held in a defined position in depth . In this way, the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central region, has at least one pair of spacer elements for the fan cover, which are each designed to support the fan cover in depth from the inside so that the fan cover is in a defined position in depth can be held, wherein the two spacer elements for the fan cover are arranged offset from one another at least in height. In this way, the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the locking holder, preferably its central region, has at least one latching element for the fan cover, which is designed to receive a corresponding latching element of the fan cover in such a way that the fan cover can be positively held in a defined position in terms of depth. In this way, the same properties and advantages can be achieved for the fan cover as described above for the heat exchanger flap.

According to a further aspect of the invention, the two positioning elements for the heat exchanger flap and / or the two spacer elements are for the heat exchangers flap and / or the two positioning elements for the fan cover and / or the two spacer elements for the fan cover are each arranged closer in height to the respective edge of the head area than to one another.

Preferably, the two positioning elements for the heat exchanger flap and / or the two spacer elements for the heat exchanger flap and / or the two positioning elements for the fan cover and / or the two spacer elements for the fan cover in height and / or in width in each case Arranging in close proximity to the respective edge of the head area can be advantageous in order to bring the respective effect of the corresponding element in height and / or width as close as possible to the edge of the heat exchanger flap or the fan cover. This can lead to a particularly good positioning of the heat exchanger flap or the fan cover relative to one another or relative to the front side of the housing of the laundry treatment appliance. Immediate proximity to the respective edge is to be understood as meaning that, depending on the application, the corresponding element is arranged so close to the respective edge that it can perform its function, but at the same time the distance to the edge is relatively small to minimal.

The present invention also relates to a locking holder for use in a laundry treatment device, preferably in a household appliance, particularly preferably in a tumble dryer or in a washer-dryer, as described above, the locking holder being formed in the depth behind a vertical front wall web of a housing front side of the laundry treatment device to be, wherein the locking holder is further designed to hold a heat exchanger flap and / or a fan cover in the closed state while bypassing the front wall web. In this way, a locking holder can be created in order to implement a laundry treatment device as described above and to use its properties and advantages.

The above Figures are viewed in Cartesian coordinates. A longitudinal direction X extends, which can also be referred to as depth X. A transverse direction Y, which can also be referred to as width Y, extends perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X. A vertical direction Z, which can also be referred to as the height Z, extends perpendicular to both the longitudinal direction X and the transverse direction Y.

The Figure 1 shows a laundry dryer 1 as laundry treatment device 1. Viewed from the front, laundry dryer 1 has a housing front side 10, which can also be referred to as housing front wall 10. A control panel 11 or the control elements 11 of the tumble dryer 1 are arranged in the upper region of the front side 10 of the housing. A door 12 is arranged in the center on the front side 10 of the housing and can close an opening through which the laundry drum located behind is accessible.

In the lower area of the housing front 10, a heat exchanger flap 13 is arranged on the left and a fan cover 15 is arranged next to it on the right. The heat exchanger flap 13 closes a process air opening 14, see Figure 4 , via which a process air duct of a heat pump of the tumble dryer 1 is accessible. The fan cover 15 closes a fan opening 16 through which components of the heat pump and a process air fan are accessible. The fan cover 15 has a plurality of horizontal slots so that ambient air can pass through the fan cover 15 to the components of the heat pump behind it and to the process air fan in order to cool them.

The heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 are each held in the width Y on the outside by a hinge, so that they open the process air opening 14 or the fan opening 16 outwards to the edge of the housing front 10 and to close the process air opening 14 or the fan opening 16 can each be pivoted towards each other. The two vertical edges of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15, each facing away from the hinge in the width Y are, ie point towards each other towards the center, are aligned parallel to each other in the closed state and form a perpendicular gap 17 between them, see Figure 1 .

These two vertical edges of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 as well as the gap 17 in between are arranged in the closed state, viewed from the front, at depth X in front of a front wall web 18, which is formed in one piece at least with the lower area of the housing front 10. The front wall web 18 separates the process air opening 14 and the fan opening 16 from one another in the width Y.

Since the front wall web 18 is enameled, the front wall web 18 usually has strong dimensional fluctuations in the width Y and in particular in the depth X, see depth fluctuation B of the Figure 5 so that the two vertical edges of the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 resting on the front wall web 18 cannot be positioned in a defined manner.

According to the invention, a locking holder 2 is therefore provided, which is designed as an injection-molded part made of plastic and is arranged in depth X behind the front wall web 18, see e.g. Figure 5 . The locking holder 2 extends essentially at the height Z and is arcuate or bulbous at the depth X, see for example Figure 3 or 5 . For this purpose, the locking holder 2 has a central region 20 which runs in the depth X behind and parallel to the front wall web 18. The middle area 20 terminates at the height Z at the top with an upper head area 20a and at the bottom with a lower head area 20b, each of which is designed to be outstanding towards the front at the depth X, see, for example Figure 3 or 5 . The two head regions 20a, 20b each rest from the inside on the inside of the housing front side 10 in an area which is not enameled and therefore does not have the strong dimensional fluctuations caused by this. In the rest of the course of the locking holder 2, this is arranged at depth X behind the front wall web 18 and does not touch it, so that the dimensional fluctuations of the enamelled front wall web 18 can be kept away from the locking holder 2. Since the locking holder 2 is also designed to hold the heat exchanger flap 13 and to keep the fan cover 15 in the closed state, the front wall web 18 can be bypassed in this way.

The two head regions 20a, 20b are initially glued onto the inside of the housing front 10. The two elastic compensating elements 29 are each held by an element 19 of the laundry treatment appliance 1 which, as an air guiding element 19, is part of the process air duct, so that this holding function can be implemented without additional components. In this way, a secure and durable connection of the locking holder 2 via its two head regions 20a, 20b to the housing front 10 can be created. At the same time, the locking holder 2 can be positioned very precisely in a predetermined manner, so that this positioning accuracy can be transferred to the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 in the closed state.

For this purpose, the middle area 20 of the locking holder 2 has a first positioning element 21 in the form of a round hole 21 protruding into the process air opening 14 in the width Y near the upper head area 20a and a second positioning element 22 in the form of a height near the lower head area 20b Z extending elongated hole 22. The heat exchanger flap 13 has, at the corresponding points on its inside, facing inward at depth X, a corresponding holding element 13a, which is designed as a projection 13a. In the closed state, the two projections 13a can engage in the two holes 21, 22, see Figure 6 , and position the heat exchanger flap 13 in a predetermined position relative to the locking holder 2 and thus also relative to the housing front 10. Positioning both in the height Z and in the width Y is achieved through the round hole 21, while the elongated hole 22 is only used for positioning in the width Y. As a result, the positioning accuracy of the heat exchanger flap 13 in the width Y can be improved, since this is essential for the visual impression of the gap 17. At the same time, jamming of the heat exchanger flap 13 at the level Z can be avoided.

For positioning in depth X, the middle area 20 of the locking holder 2 has a spacing element 24, which can be referred to as pegs 24 or ribs 24 and protrudes from the middle area 20, and protrudes into the process air opening 14 in the width Y near the two holes 21, 22 protrude to the front at depth X. In this way and In the closed state, the inside of the heat exchanger flap 13 can rest against the two spacer elements 24 from the front at the depth X, so that the heat exchanger flap 13 cannot be pivoted any further and can therefore assume a defined position at the depth X, see Figure 7 .

At the same time, the heat exchanger flap 13 can be held in this position by the two spacer elements 24 at least with a certain amount of force, since the two spacer elements 24 each have a latching receptacle 24a in the form of an indentation 24a, in each of which a first latching element 13b in the form of a projection 13b in the width Y can engage resiliently, see Figure 7 . This allows the predetermined positioning to be held directly.

In addition, the central region 20 of the locking holder 2 points into the process air opening 14 in the width Y, projecting approximately at the height Z in the center, see Figure 4 , a latching element 23 in the form of a hook 23 which can resiliently engage behind a corresponding second latching element 13c of the heat exchanger flap 13 in the form of a corresponding hook 13c, see Figure 8 . In this way, an additional form-fitting mounting of the heat exchanger flap 13 in the closed state can be achieved.

In order to implement these functions for the fan cover 15 as well, the central area 20 of the locking holder 2 has a first positioning element 25 in the form of a pin 25, which projects in the depth X to the front in the fan opening 16 in the width Y, near the upper head area 20a stands out. A comparable second positioning element 26 in the form of a second pin 26 is arranged near the lower head region 20b. Both positioning elements 25, 26 are encompassed in the closed state of the fan cover 15 by corresponding holding elements 15a on the inside of the fan cover 15 in the form of receptacles 15a, see Figure 6 so that the pins 25, 26 can be held in the receptacles 15a. In this way, a predetermined positioning of the fan cover 15 can be achieved both in the height Z and in the width Y with respect to the locking holder 2 and thus also with respect to the front side 10 of the housing.

The middle areas of the two pins 25, 26 are designed with a predetermined extent in depth X, so that a spacer element 28 is formed in each case, against which the receptacles 15a of the fan cover 15 rest in its closed state, see Figure 6 . In this way, a predetermined positioning in depth X can be achieved via the two pins 25, 26 at the same time.

In order to keep the fan cover 15 in the closed state, the central region 20 of the locking holder 2 has in each case protruding into the fan opening 16 in the width Y approximately at height Z below the two pins 25, 26 a latching element 27 in the form of a hook 27, which can engage behind a corresponding latching element 15b of the fan cover 15 in the form of a corresponding hook 15b in a resilient manner. In this way, a simpler, more secure and releasable hold of the predetermined positioning of the fan cover 15 can be achieved.

This positioning of both the heat exchanger flap 13 and the fan cover 15 can, thanks to the locking holder 2, be taken up and held more precisely than previously known due to the circumvention of the dimensionally inaccurate front wall web 18. This can be done simply, safely and inexpensively by using the locking holder 2 in that the chain of tolerances for the gap 17 formed between the heat exchanger flap 13 and the housing cover 15 can be significantly reduced. This can lead to the desired visual appearance of the vertical gap 17.
