  • the handle of the device is formed in a plane that lies substantially parallel to axis B, and preferably coincident with axis B.
  • the handle is preferably central relative to the width of the device, and in embodiments the user-graspable portions extend rearwardly and downwardly.
  • the axis A lies perpendicular to the plane of the handle, i.e. it is disposed across the width of the device, rather than lengthwise or vertically. Therefore, in embodiments and as shown, the axis A lies substantially perpendicular to the plane in which the handle and axis B both lie, which - in normal use - is typically substantially horizontal.

Claims (11)

  1. Oberflächenreinigungsgerät (10), das Folgendes beinhaltet:
    einen Bodenkopf (12);
    ein Gehäuse (16), das Folgendes trägt:
    eine Saugquelle; und
    einen Schmutzsammelbehälter (18), der eine längliche Achse (A) aufweist;
    ein längliches Element (14), das eine längliche Achse (B) aufweist, wobei das längliche Element den Bodenkopf mit dem Gehäuse verbindet, wobei das längliche Element einen Durchgang zum Befördern von schmutzbeladener Luft von dem Bodenkopf zu dem Schmutzsammelbehälter beinhaltet,
    wobei die längliche Achse (B) des länglichen Elements die längliche Achse (A) des Schmutzsammelbehälters schneidet oder im Wesentlichen schneidet,
    und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die längliche Achse (A) des Schmutzsammelbehälters bei Normalgebrauch im Wesentlichen horizontal ist.
  2. Oberflächenreinigungsgerät (10), das Folgendes beinhaltet:
    einen Bodenkopf (12);
    ein Gehäuse (16), das Folgendes trägt:
    eine Saugquelle;
    einen Schmutzsammelbehälter (18); und
    eine Zyklonabscheidevorrichtung zum Abscheiden von Schmutz aus der das Gerät durchlaufenden Luftströmung, wobei das Gerät eine längliche Achse (A) aufweist,
    ein längliches Element (14), das eine längliche Achse (B) aufweist, wobei das längliche Element den Bodenkopf mit dem Gehäuse verbindet, wobei das längliche Element einen Durchgang zum Befördern von schmutzbeladener Luft von dem Bodenkopf zu dem Schmutzsammelbehälter beinhaltet,
    wobei die längliche Achse (B) des länglichen Elements die längliche Achse (A) der Zyklonabscheidevorrichtung schneidet oder im Wesentlichen schneidet,
    und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die längliche Achse der Zyklonabscheidevorrichtung (A) bei Normalgebrauch im Wesentlichen horizontal ist.
  3. Gerät nach Anspruch 2, wobei die längliche Achse (A) der Zyklonabscheidevorrichtung eine Achse ist, um die, im Wesentlichen, schmutzbeladene Luft zum Drehen gebracht wird, während sie das Gerät durchläuft.
  4. Gerät nach Anspruch 2 oder Anspruch 3, wobei der Schmutzsammelbehälter auch eine längliche Achse aufweist, die bei Normalgebrauch im Wesentlichen horizontal ist.
  5. Gerät nach Anspruch 4, wobei die länglichen Achsen des Schmutzsammelbehälters und der Zyklonabscheidevorrichtung parallel zueinander, bevorzugt koaxial oder im Wesentlichen koaxial, sind.
  6. Gerät nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei das Gehäuse einen Griff zum Halten des Geräts beinhaltet oder mit diesem verbunden ist.
  7. Gerät nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei das längliche Element von dem Bodenkopf trennbar ist.
  8. Gerät nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei das längliche Element von dem Gehäuse trennbar ist.
  9. Gerät nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei das Gehäuse als handgeführtes Oberflächenreinigungsgerät betreibbar ist, wenn das längliche Element und der Bodenkopf davon getrennt sind.
  10. Gerät nach Anspruch 9 in Abhängigkeit von Anspruch 8, wobei ein Werkzeug mit dem Gehäuse anstelle des länglichen Elements verbunden werden kann.
  11. Gerät nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei die Achsen A und B senkrecht oder im Wesentlichen senkrecht zueinander sind.
