Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for creating and / or connecting a staircase with an integrated elevator shaft to or in an existing building, in particular on or in a residential building, preferably for barrier-free connection of the building to the stairwell to be created.
- the housing situation of older people (over 65 years of age) in Germany is as follows: Around 45% of them live in owner-occupied homes, 48% rent and around 7% live in other forms of living (e.g. in inpatient care for the elderly). It can also be seen that older people tend to live in older residential buildings. For example, 17.3% of all German households live in buildings that were built after 1991, while the proportion of households aged 65 and over is only 5.3% (see Seventh Report on the Situation of the Older Generation in the Federal Republic of Germany).
- the buildings particularly affected by the invention result from the construction of the post-war period, in particular in the fifties and sixties.
- the buildings particularly affected by the invention result from the construction of the post-war period, in particular in the fifties and sixties.
- the buildings were built (cf. Federal and State Statistical Offices - 2011 census).
- the post-war construction method was very much geared towards functionality. This In the multi-storey building, apart from the poor energetic insulation, it was also characterized by the fact that the cellars were usually protruding from the ground.
- the EP 1 574 470 A1 and the JP 2003 013 615 A each disclose a method for connecting an elevator to an existing building. Furthermore, in the DE 200 02 775 U1 describes an elevator staircase module that can be connected to an existing building.
- the present invention is based on the object of specifying a method by which an existing building is adapted using simple means in such a way that barrier-free access is possible.
- the individual method steps of the method according to the invention do not necessarily have to take place in the order in which they are presented in claim 1. Rather, the method steps can also be carried out in a different sequence and / or at least partially at the same time.
- the elevator shaft can also be a shaft for a lift.
- the elevator shaft frame can also be designed as a lift shaft frame.
- the steps of the method according to the invention can optionally be repeated in order to generate a predetermined or desired number of floors of the stairwell, for example until at least all living levels are accessible. The number of floors in the existing building and the stairwell do not have to match.
- the lowest level of the existing building (basement) and / or the uppermost level of the existing building (top floor) could not be connected to the new stairwell.
- the lowest floor of the stairwell and the lowest floor of the existing building do not necessarily have to coincide with one another.
- the underlying task can be achieved in an astonishingly simple manner by creating a staircase with an integrated elevator shaft in or on an existing building, namely on the part of the building where the existing facade is open and an existing staircase is at least partially dismantled.
- the building can be a building, in particular a residential building, with a half-story staircase.
- the method according to the invention achieves a low-barrier or barrier-free development of the individual floors or apartments in a simple manner. It can be provided in a further advantageous manner that the entire existing staircase and existing semi-platforms are dismantled.
- barrier-free is not necessarily to be interpreted in accordance with the German industry standard applicable on the filing date. Rather, it is to be understood as a dismantling of existing barriers so that the existing building meets, for example, senior-friendly or low-barrier requirements.
- the method according to the invention is characterized in that no intervention in the apartment floor plans of the existing building is necessary and an extremely short construction period is to be expected. Impairments for the tenant and the resulting rent reductions are minimized.
- an interim staircase can be built, for example on the side of the existing building facing away from the entrance. It is essential that the apartments can be accessed via the interim staircase via the apartments' existing balconies on this side of the building, for example via arcades.
- the existing balconies can be cut off in order to achieve thermal decoupling, especially if the building is being refurbished to improve energy efficiency at the same time.
- existing window holes could be enlarged, in particular to the size of a floor-to-ceiling window, so that the apartment can then be accessed via this new entrance.
- Such a procedure is particularly advantageous if there are no existing balconies.
- the newly created window could, if it is no longer needed as an entrance, have a French balcony as a fall protection.
- the existing balcony door can advantageously be supplemented by a lockable door.
- the existing facade can be opened, in particular windows, concrete parts and other components can be dismantled.
- the existing staircases and semi-landings are exposed.
- a roof opening can be made in the area of the existing staircase. Additional safety measures can be taken here to keep the roof stable. Alternatively or in addition, an emergency roof can be provided to protect against rain. Later dismantled concrete parts can be lifted through the openings that have now been created.
- the structural conditions are checked and, if necessary, safety measures are taken before the work begins.
- the dismantling work can then be started.
- the work begins on the top floor and continues down floor by floor until the lowest floor, for example the basement or the ground floor, is reached.
- the existing staircases and existing semi-landings can, for example, be cut out and / or pried out.
- the concrete parts can be lifted out of the building using a lifting device.
- the first part to be dismantled can be the existing staircase, which leads from the top half-landing to the top floor.
- the existing staircase which leads from the top half-landing to the next lower floor, can then be dismantled.
- the top semi-platform can then be dismantled. The procedure is repeated for the next lower existing half-landing until finally all of the existing half-landing and staircases have been dismantled.
- the top wall of the basement corridor or the bottom floor can remain in place. In particular, if the top wall does not remain in place, measures to safeguard the rain can be taken for the bottom floor.
- the excavation can be carried out with the construction of the foundation base.
- a floor slab can then be poured, whereby any insulation measures can be carried out underneath the floor slab.
- the outer walls of the staircase can now be built on the floor slab in masonry construction and / or as prefabricated parts, for example precast concrete parts and / or wooden elements - for example a board-and-stack construction.
- prefabricated parts for example precast concrete parts and / or wooden elements - for example a board-and-stack construction.
- the interior plaster in the basement or on the lowest floor is applied as quickly as possible.
- the outer walls of the staircase do not necessarily have to be implemented as a closed construction. For example, these can also be set up as a frame structure, in particular as a steel frame structure.
- a staircase frame is mounted on the outer walls of the staircase, in particular with the aid of a non-positive connection.
- the stairwell frame can be formed in one piece or from at least two There are parts that are delivered to the construction site and placed on the outer walls of the staircase.
- the frame parts can, for example, be screwed together and non-positively connected to the outer walls of the staircase.
- the term staircase frame is to be understood in the broadest sense, this can be designed as an integral part of the staircase outer walls.
- the staircase frame can also be a ring anchor.
- the ring anchor could also be made in one piece.
- the ring anchor could be cast, for example from concrete.
- protective support measures can be taken.
- One of the main tasks of the staircase frame is to stiffen the outer walls of the staircase and to transfer forces into the existing structure.
- a staircase frame is not arranged on every floor; a staircase frame can possibly be dispensed with altogether.
- first fastening elements are arranged on the outer walls of the staircase and / or the staircase frame and on the existing floor ceiling landing at the same height.
- a U-profile with, preferably welded, bracket or a double-T-profile or IPE profile, in particular non-positively is connected to the podium on the existing floor slab landings in front of the apartments.
- the fastening elements can be designed, for example, as pure U-profiles or as double-T-profiles or IPE-profiles.
- At least one second fastening element in particular a U-profile or a double-T-profile or IPE profile, is attached to the existing staircase walls at the height of the existing floor ceiling platform.
- the existing stairwell side walls can be mortised at twice the height of the second fastening elements or the second U-profiles in order to create a statically relevant support, should this be necessary after checking the structural conditions.
- the second U-profile can then first be placed on the already assembled outer staircase frame. If the chiselled-free area is advantageously more than twice as high as the second U-profile, this can now be carefully placed behind the existing frame construction on both sides the existing outer wall can be embedded in a chiseled-free area.
- the second U-profile can be mortared and, if necessary, positively connected to the outer frame construction. In general, any profile shapes for the first fastening element and the second fastening element are conceivable.
- fire protection regulations must be taken into account, which can be designed differently depending on the different building classes. For example, it may be necessary to apply additional non-flammable planking in front of all flammable structures (e.g. exterior and shaft walls in wooden element construction, ceiling structures with solid structural timber (KVH)). It is also conceivable that combustible materials may no longer be used at all; in this case, the outer walls of the staircase and elevator shaft walls can be constructed as precast concrete parts and the KVH in the ceiling structures can be replaced by steel girders.
- KVH solid structural timber
- elevator shaft walls of at least the lowest floor of the stairwell ie at least between the lowest floor and the floor above, are erected and an elevator shaft frame is attached to or on the elevator shaft walls.
- the elevator shaft walls on the lowest floor for example in the basement or on the ground floor of the existing building, are placed on previously attached leveling sleepers.
- the elevator shaft walls can be made of wood element construction - for example as a board-and-stack construction.
- the elevator shaft walls can be produced at least partially or completely from masonry and / or from precast concrete parts and / or steel.
- an outer frame structure can also be applied to this and, if necessary, connected with a force fit.
- the elevator shaft frame can be designed in one piece, with a multi-part, in particular two-part, design also being possible.
- the individual frame parts can be screwed together, for example.
- the term elevator shaft frame is also to be understood broadly, so that it is, for example, also in one piece with the Elevator shaft walls can be formed.
- the elevator shaft frame can in particular be implemented as a ring anchor.
- the elevator shaft frame also ensures stiffening and the dissipation of external forces. Depending on the statics, an elevator shaft frame does not have to be provided on every floor; an elevator shaft frame can possibly be dispensed with altogether.
- the elevator shaft frame and the stairwell frame are connected to one another, in particular non-positively, via connecting elements.
- This connection can, on the one hand, represent the boundary of the new landing in the stairwell and, on the other hand, can serve as a support for the staircase construction.
- the prefabricated staircase for the storey is now inserted into the cavity between the outer walls of the staircase and the walls of the elevator shaft.
- the prefabricated stair construction can be a stair frame made of tubular steel or a different material.
- the stair construction can advantageously consist of one or more stair parts per floor, for example three stair parts. These stair parts can be screwed on site and positively connected to the outer walls of the stairwell and the walls of the elevator shaft. For example, a covering made up of emergency steps and landings can be applied to the stair construction to enable the stairs to be accessed immediately so that the stairs can be used during the assembly process, but the subsequent stair covering is not damaged.
- the subsequent covering of the stairs can be composed as follows: Steps and risers can be clad with a fire-resistant covering, e.g. a stone covering.
- a fire-resistant covering e.g. a stone covering.
- the soffits of the stairs in the area of the flights of stairs and the corner landings do not have to be clad, but they can also be provided with a fire-resistant cladding without any problems if the fire protection requires this.
- ceiling or floor elements can be introduced both on the fastening elements and on the connecting elements.
- These can be beams (e.g. KVH or steel) that are used in Direction of the existing interior walls, between the two already installed profiles or U-profiles.
- the girders can be inserted in the same direction as the girders in the hallway, between the staircase frame and the connecting elements between the staircase frame and the elevator shaft frame.
- a panel e.g. OSB panel
- the beams could be laid in opposite directions.
- the profiles would not be placed on the existing landing (rear) and the building's outer wall (outside), but would be fixed to the left and right of the existing ceilings, for example dowelled.
- the profiles could also be beams made of wood or another material, due to the smaller span.
- the steps of the method according to the invention can be repeated until a predetermined number of floors is reached for the stairwell. It is possible that the outer staircase walls outside the basement (bottom floor) are made of wood element construction. The remaining steps are carried out in the same way as on the floor below. The same applies to all the following floors. After the top floor has also been created in the manner described, an existing emergency roof can be dismantled and the roof closed. It is expressly pointed out that the stairwell outer walls and / or the elevator shaft walls can also extend over more than one floor, in extreme cases over all floors.
- a further advantage of the method according to the invention comes into play, namely that it can be expanded as required by floor.
- Carrying out the method according to the invention is usually accompanied by further renovation measures, for example an energetic renovation of the facade and the roof. If the energetic renovation of the attic is to be carried out, it can be advantageous for the apartment owner to add a storey (e.g. a penthouse) to the existing building and thus create additional, attractive, barrier-free living space.
- a storey e.g. a penthouse
- a door element or a door or a partition comprising a door element could be erected in the transition between a corridor of the existing building and the stairwell.
- the partition could consist of the same material as a staircase outer wall or as an elevator shaft wall.
- the partition and the stairwell outer wall or the elevator shaft wall do not have to be made of the same material.
- one of these components could be placed in a wooden frame and the other component or components could be bricked up. This ensures that the stairwell does not have to be included in the energetic building envelope in an energetic calculation.
- This advantage exists in particular in the case of a steel frame construction of the stairwell outer walls.
- the stairwell could be implemented in such a way that it can be included in the energetic building envelope.
- a ramp or a large embankment can be added as a local measure to enable barrier-free access to the ground floors.
- an additional stopping station of the elevator is realized at the level of the entrance of the existing building, so that barrier-free access to the elevator is created even without an embankment and it is possible to bypass the existing platform located at the level of the existing entrance . Barrier-free access to all floors is thus created via the barrier-free access to the lift. This means that all floors can be accessed barrier-free.
- an existing building can be equipped with an extremely compact design with a stairwell which includes a lift. In this way, locally specified limit distances can be adhered to and the usability of existing buildings can be significantly improved.
- a building 1 is shown in several views, on which a staircase 2 with an integrated elevator shaft 3 has been created by the method according to the invention. It is pointed out again that the elevator shaft 3 can also be a shaft for a lift.
- the existing facade is first opened and the existing staircase 4 is dismantled.
- the existing staircase 4 is dismantled.
- the existing staircase 4 can be dismantled in a simple manner from the top floor to the basement.
- the staircase outer walls 9 of the lowest floor of the staircase 2 are attached, which in this embodiment is level with the basement 16 of the existing building 1.
- the lowest floor of the staircase 2 can also be connected to the existing building 1 above the basement 16, for example on the ground floor.
- Staircase frame 10 shown are attached on the staircase outer walls 9 .
- First fastening elements 11 are then fastened to the staircase frame 10 and the existing landing 12 which is at the same height.
- elevator shaft walls 13 can then be erected at the level of the basement 16 of the existing building 1 and on the elevator shaft walls 13 of the only in Fig. 8 elevator shaft frame 20 shown are created.
- the existing construction of elevator shaft frame 20 and staircase frame 10 is connected to one another via connecting elements 14, which on the one hand represent the delimitation of the new floor landings in the staircase and on the other hand serve as supports for the staircase construction or staircase elements 15.
- the staircase elements 15 are installed in the cavity between the stairwell outer walls 9 and the elevator shaft walls 13 and floor elements 21 are then arranged on the fastening elements 11 and the connecting elements 14, so that a hallway or ceiling construction is created.
- a stopping station for the elevator can be provided at the level of the existing entrance 22.
- the elevator can be reached barrier-free, whereby all floors or the basement can be reached via the elevator.
- the top floor of the staircase 2 is designed as part of an increase in the existing house 1, so that the ceiling of the top floor of the staircase 2 is realized as part of the roof. This is an optional design.
- a first fastening element 11 is shown. Thereafter, the first fastening element 11 is designed as a U-profile 17 with a bracket 18 attached to it.
- the bracket 18 can be welded to the U-profile 17, for example.

Description
The invention relates to a method for creating and / or connecting a staircase with an integrated elevator shaft to or in an existing building, in particular on or in a residential building, preferably for barrier-free connection of the building to the stairwell to be created.
Statistische Ämter des Bundes und der Länder - Zensus 2011).In the Federal Republic of Germany there are 18,367,576 residential buildings with 39,431,696 apartments. Multi-family houses in particular large multi-family houses with six or more apartments per residential building make up less than 10% of the residential buildings, but accommodate a good third of the apartments. The urban area has a significantly higher proportion of housing compared to the rural area. This increased proportion is due to the dense residential development. In Berlin, for example, there are only around 1.7% (around 317,000) of all German residential buildings, but around 4.6% (around 1.8 million) of all apartments in Germany. Germany is still a tenant nation, the rental rate is 54.2%. Just like the proportion of housing in urban regions, the rent rate is also much higher than in more rural regions (cf. Statistical Offices of the Federal Government and the Federal States - 2011 census).
So leben bspw. The housing situation of older people (over 65 years of age) in Germany is as follows: Around 45% of them live in owner-occupied homes, 48% rent and around 7% live in other forms of living (e.g. in inpatient care for the elderly).
The buildings particularly affected by the invention result from the construction of the post-war period, in particular in the fifties and sixties. During this time, around 25% of the residential buildings and around 30% of the apartments in Germany were built (cf. Federal and State Statistical Offices - 2011 census). After a considerable part of the residential buildings was destroyed in the Second World War, new living space had to be created quickly for the population. Even from the point of view of scarce resources, the post-war construction method was very much geared towards functionality. this In the multi-storey building, apart from the poor energetic insulation, it was also characterized by the fact that the cellars were usually protruding from the ground. This ensured easy ventilation, but resulted in a stairwell situation with semi-landings, which in turn makes barrier-free access to the apartment, even on the ground floor, impossible. In addition, the focus on functionality also had an impact on the apartment floor plans, which are kept rather simple and appear cramped in some cases. A loss of a room, for example due to the installation of a lift / elevator, can therefore not simply be compensated for. This might even endanger the usability of the apartment, but it would certainly lead to economic losses on the part of the apartment owner.
Siebter Bericht zur Lage der älteren Generation in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland).Above all, it is the lack of accessibility and the resulting inability to senior citizens that poses a major problem for private apartment owners, but above all for private / municipal / cooperative housing associations. Because from the point of view of an aging society, accessibility is playing an increasingly important role. The seventh report on the situation of the older generation in the Federal Republic of Germany by the German Bundestag also comes to this conclusion and finds serious shortcomings. Only 5.2% of the apartments whose residents are 65 years of age or older are considered to be barrier-free or barrier-free and therefore suitable for the elderly. The report also points out that the most serious barriers to access to the apartment exist (see Seventh Report on the Situation of the Older Generation in the Federal Republic of Germany).
There is no technical solution that enables the flats of an existing building to be developed on a floor-by-floor basis with an elevator or lift system. For example, the GdW - Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies eV assumes in a statement on the motions of several parliamentary groups in the German Bundestag and on the occasion of the public hearing of the Committee for Labor and Social Affairs on November 10, 2014 that there is accessibility for existing apartments from technical - and cost reasons cannot be completely manufactured. Retrofitting of elevators is explicitly mentioned as the reason for this. Sooner or later this means that older or physically handicapped tenants are no longer in such apartments can stay. For older people in particular, moving is often no longer as easy as it was at a young age, as mobility decreases with age and the apartment increasingly becomes the focus of life (see Seventh Report on the Situation of the Older Generation in the Federal Republic of Germany).
In addition to the challenges described above, for housing associations, private apartment owners and society as a whole, there is the tense situation on the housing market in Germany's cities. The cities in Germany have recorded continuous population growth for years, and the trend is rising. Therefore, one is dependent on a housing stock that is adapted to the realities of life of the people.
The age-appropriate and barrier-free development of existing residential buildings with an elevator or lift system increases the quality of living in a significant way.

The present invention is based on the object of specifying a method by which an existing building is adapted using simple means in such a way that barrier-free access is possible.
According to the invention, the above object is achieved by the features of
At this point it is first pointed out that the individual method steps of the method according to the invention do not necessarily have to take place in the order in which they are presented in
According to the invention, it has been recognized that the underlying task can be achieved in an astonishingly simple manner by creating a staircase with an integrated elevator shaft in or on an existing building, namely on the part of the building where the existing facade is open and an existing staircase is at least partially dismantled. In a particularly advantageous manner, the building can be a building, in particular a residential building, with a half-story staircase. The method according to the invention achieves a low-barrier or barrier-free development of the individual floors or apartments in a simple manner. It can be provided in a further advantageous manner that the entire existing staircase and existing semi-platforms are dismantled. The term barrier-free is not necessarily to be interpreted in accordance with the German industry standard applicable on the filing date. Rather, it is to be understood as a dismantling of existing barriers so that the existing building meets, for example, senior-friendly or low-barrier requirements.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that no intervention in the apartment floor plans of the existing building is necessary and an extremely short construction period is to be expected. Impairments for the tenant and the resulting rent reductions are minimized.
In order to ensure continuous habitability, an interim staircase can be built, for example on the side of the existing building facing away from the entrance. It is essential that the apartments can be accessed via the interim staircase via the apartments' existing balconies on this side of the building, for example via arcades. The existing balconies can be cut off in order to achieve thermal decoupling, especially if the building is being refurbished to improve energy efficiency at the same time. Alternatively, existing window holes could be enlarged, in particular to the size of a floor-to-ceiling window, so that the apartment can then be accessed via this new entrance. Such a procedure is particularly advantageous if there are no existing balconies. The newly created window could, if it is no longer needed as an entrance, have a French balcony as a fall protection.
So that the residents still have the opportunity to lock their apartment, the existing balcony door can advantageously be supplemented by a lockable door.
First, the existing facade can be opened, in particular windows, concrete parts and other components can be dismantled. After the opening, the existing staircases and semi-landings are exposed. In addition, a roof opening can be made in the area of the existing staircase. Additional safety measures can be taken here to keep the roof stable. Alternatively or in addition, an emergency roof can be provided to protect against rain. Later dismantled concrete parts can be lifted through the openings that have now been created.
It is also advantageous that the structural conditions are checked and, if necessary, safety measures are taken before the work begins. The dismantling work can then be started. When dismantling, it is advantageous if the work begins on the top floor and continues down floor by floor until the lowest floor, for example the basement or the ground floor, is reached. The existing staircases and existing semi-landings can, for example, be cut out and / or pried out. In a further advantageous manner the concrete parts can be lifted out of the building using a lifting device.
In order to achieve the simplest and safest possible dismantling, the first part to be dismantled can be the existing staircase, which leads from the top half-landing to the top floor. The existing staircase, which leads from the top half-landing to the next lower floor, can then be dismantled. The top semi-platform can then be dismantled. The procedure is repeated for the next lower existing half-landing until finally all of the existing half-landing and staircases have been dismantled. This creates an opening for the building in the area of the former staircase from the existing exterior wall to the existing floor ceiling landings in front of the apartments, across all floors. In order to prevent water from entering the basement after the start of the earthworks, the top wall of the basement corridor or the bottom floor can remain in place. In particular, if the top wall does not remain in place, measures to safeguard the rain can be taken for the bottom floor.
After dismantling, the excavation can be carried out with the construction of the foundation base. A floor slab can then be poured, whereby any insulation measures can be carried out underneath the floor slab.
The outer walls of the staircase can now be built on the floor slab in masonry construction and / or as prefabricated parts, for example precast concrete parts and / or wooden elements - for example a board-and-stack construction. In addition, due to the necessary drying time, it is advantageous if the interior plaster in the basement or on the lowest floor is applied as quickly as possible. The outer walls of the staircase do not necessarily have to be implemented as a closed construction. For example, these can also be set up as a frame structure, in particular as a steel frame structure.
A staircase frame is mounted on the outer walls of the staircase, in particular with the aid of a non-positive connection. The stairwell frame can be formed in one piece or from at least two There are parts that are delivered to the construction site and placed on the outer walls of the staircase. The frame parts can, for example, be screwed together and non-positively connected to the outer walls of the staircase. The term staircase frame is to be understood in the broadest sense, this can be designed as an integral part of the staircase outer walls. For example, the staircase frame can also be a ring anchor. The ring anchor could also be made in one piece. For this purpose, the ring anchor could be cast, for example from concrete. In addition, protective support measures can be taken. One of the main tasks of the staircase frame is to stiffen the outer walls of the staircase and to transfer forces into the existing structure. Depending on the statics of the building or the staircase, it is conceivable that a staircase frame is not arranged on every floor; a staircase frame can possibly be dispensed with altogether.
The next step is to assemble the corridor construction. For this purpose, first fastening elements are arranged on the outer walls of the staircase and / or the staircase frame and on the existing floor ceiling landing at the same height. Specifically, it is conceivable that a U-profile with, preferably welded, bracket or a double-T-profile or IPE profile, in particular non-positively, is connected to the podium on the existing floor slab landings in front of the apartments. On the staircase outer walls or the staircase outer frame, the fastening elements can be designed, for example, as pure U-profiles or as double-T-profiles or IPE-profiles. In addition, at least one second fastening element, in particular a U-profile or a double-T-profile or IPE profile, is attached to the existing staircase walls at the height of the existing floor ceiling platform. For this purpose, the existing stairwell side walls can be mortised at twice the height of the second fastening elements or the second U-profiles in order to create a statically relevant support, should this be necessary after checking the structural conditions. The second U-profile can then first be placed on the already assembled outer staircase frame. If the chiselled-free area is advantageously more than twice as high as the second U-profile, this can now be carefully placed behind the existing frame construction on both sides the existing outer wall can be embedded in a chiseled-free area. Finally, the second U-profile can be mortared and, if necessary, positively connected to the outer frame construction. In general, any profile shapes for the first fastening element and the second fastening element are conceivable.
If necessary, fire protection regulations must be taken into account, which can be designed differently depending on the different building classes.
To create the elevator shaft, elevator shaft walls of at least the lowest floor of the stairwell, ie at least between the lowest floor and the floor above, are erected and an elevator shaft frame is attached to or on the elevator shaft walls. It is conceivable that the elevator shaft walls on the lowest floor, for example in the basement or on the ground floor of the existing building, are placed on previously attached leveling sleepers. In the floors above, it is possible to place the elevator shaft walls on the elevator shaft walls and / or the elevator shaft frame of the floor below. The elevator shaft walls can be made of wood element construction - for example as a board-and-stack construction. Alternatively or additionally, the elevator shaft walls can be produced at least partially or completely from masonry and / or from precast concrete parts and / or steel. As described above, an outer frame structure can also be applied to this and, if necessary, connected with a force fit. Due to its smaller size, the elevator shaft frame can be designed in one piece, with a multi-part, in particular two-part, design also being possible. The individual frame parts can be screwed together, for example. The term elevator shaft frame is also to be understood broadly, so that it is, for example, also in one piece with the Elevator shaft walls can be formed. The elevator shaft frame can in particular be implemented as a ring anchor. The elevator shaft frame also ensures stiffening and the dissipation of external forces. Depending on the statics, an elevator shaft frame does not have to be provided on every floor; an elevator shaft frame can possibly be dispensed with altogether.
In a further way according to the invention, the elevator shaft frame and the stairwell frame are connected to one another, in particular non-positively, via connecting elements. This connection can, on the one hand, represent the boundary of the new landing in the stairwell and, on the other hand, can serve as a support for the staircase construction.
The prefabricated staircase for the storey is now inserted into the cavity between the outer walls of the staircase and the walls of the elevator shaft. The prefabricated stair construction can be a stair frame made of tubular steel or a different material. The stair construction can advantageously consist of one or more stair parts per floor, for example three stair parts. The subsequent covering of the stairs can be composed as follows: Steps and risers can be clad with a fire-resistant covering, e.g. a stone covering. The soffits of the stairs in the area of the flights of stairs and the corner landings do not have to be clad, but they can also be provided with a fire-resistant cladding without any problems if the fire protection requires this.
Following the assembly of the stairs, the ceiling assembly could take place. For this purpose, ceiling or floor elements can be introduced both on the fastening elements and on the connecting elements. These can be beams (e.g. KVH or steel) that are used in Direction of the existing interior walls, between the two already installed profiles or U-profiles. In the area of the new staircase, the girders can be inserted in the same direction as the girders in the hallway, between the staircase frame and the connecting elements between the staircase frame and the elevator shaft frame. A panel (e.g. OSB panel) can then be attached so that the construction can be walked on immediately. Alternatively, there is the possibility that the beams could be laid in opposite directions. In this case, the profiles would not be placed on the existing landing (rear) and the building's outer wall (outside), but would be fixed to the left and right of the existing ceilings, for example dowelled. In this case, the profiles could also be beams made of wood or another material, due to the smaller span.
The steps of the method according to the invention can be repeated until a predetermined number of floors is reached for the stairwell.
However, should an increase in the existing building be considered, a further advantage of the method according to the invention comes into play, namely that it can be expanded as required by floor. Carrying out the method according to the invention is usually accompanied by further renovation measures, for example an energetic renovation of the facade and the roof. If the energetic renovation of the attic is to be carried out, it can be advantageous for the apartment owner to add a storey (e.g. a penthouse) to the existing building and thus create additional, attractive, barrier-free living space.
In a further advantageous manner, a door element or a door or a partition comprising a door element could be erected in the transition between a corridor of the existing building and the stairwell. The partition could consist of the same material as a staircase outer wall or as an elevator shaft wall. However, the partition and the stairwell outer wall or the elevator shaft wall do not have to be made of the same material. For example, one of these components could be placed in a wooden frame and the other component or components could be bricked up. This ensures that the stairwell does not have to be included in the energetic building envelope in an energetic calculation. This advantage exists in particular in the case of a steel frame construction of the stairwell outer walls. Alternatively, the stairwell could be implemented in such a way that it can be included in the energetic building envelope.
If the lowest storey (basement) of the existing building protrudes from the ground, a ramp or a large embankment can be added as a local measure to enable barrier-free access to the ground floors. As an alternative or in addition, it is conceivable that an additional stopping station of the elevator is realized at the level of the entrance of the existing building, so that barrier-free access to the elevator is created even without an embankment and it is possible to bypass the existing platform located at the level of the existing entrance . Barrier-free access to all floors is thus created via the barrier-free access to the lift. This means that all floors can be accessed barrier-free.
