An den schrägen Abschnitt schließt sich der freie Längsabschnitt an, in dem die Befestigungsstreben 31 gerade in radialer Richtung verlaufen. Beide Befestigungshülsen 14, 15 weisen jeweils einen die Schenkel 11, 12 vollständig übergreifenden Bund 24, 25 auf, welche den Klemmbereich 19 axial beranden. Beim Verspannen der Befestigungshülsen 14, 15 zueinander wirkt infolge der Axialbewegung eine Normalkraft auf die beiden Schenkel 11, 12. Zudem wirkt im Klemmzustand nach der Festlegung durch die Schultern des jeweiligen Bundes 24 und der konischen Abschnitte 56 im Klemmbereich 19 eine auch eine Klemmkraft auf die beiden Schenkel 11, 12 ein, die aufgrund der konischen Abschnitte 56 mit zunehmender Annäherung der beiden Befestigungshülsen 14, 15 ansteigt. Durch Verspannung der beiden Befestigungshülsen 14, 15 in axialer Richtung kann auch das Lüfterschutzgitter 50 verspannt werden. In der gezeigten Ausführung erfolgt dies über eine nicht dargestellte Schraube, die durch das Verschraubungsloch 17 geführt wird und die beiden Befestigungshülsen 14, 15 in axialer Richtung aufeinander zu bewegen kann. Der Klemmbereich 19 ist in axialer Richtung gesehen gegenüber den Schenkeln 11, 12 untermaßig dimensioniert, sodass im befestigten Zustand eine Klemmverbindung gemäß Fig. 2 gebildet ist. Die Befestigungshülsen 14, 15 erzeugen im zueinander verspannten Zustand im Klemmbereich 19 eine derartige axiale Spannkraft Fsp, die ausreicht, dass sowohl die erforderlichen Klemmkräfte des Klemmbereiches 19 als auch die aufnehmbaren Querkräfte (senkrecht zur axialen Spannkraft) über den real auftretenden Querkräften Fq liegen. Zudem werden Querkräfte von dem Bund 24 der Befestigungshülse 14 aufgenommen. Claims (13)

  1. A protective fan guard (50) with at least one mounting strut and at least one fastening device for fastening the mounting strut of the protective fan guard (50), having a first leg (11) that extends in a longitudinal direction and engages over a plurality of guard bars (3) of the protective fan guard (50), wherein the at least one first leg (11) has a free longitudinal end and the fastening device (13) is arranged in the vicinity of the free longitudinal end of the at least one leg (11), wherein the fastening device (13) comprises a first fastening sleeve (14) and at least one second fastening sleeve (15) which engage in one another and form a clamping region (19) which receives the at least one first leg (11) and within which the leg end of the at least one first leg (11) is inserted, wherein a vertical axial web (16) is embodied on the first fastening sleeve (14) and a conical portion (56) which is oriented in the axial direction is embodied on the second fastening sleeve (15) in the form of a lateral contact leg for the leg (11), and wherein the protective fan guard (50) is braced through bracing of the two fastening sleeves (14, 15).
  2. The protective fan guard as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that the clamping region (19) is bordered by at least one first collar (24) that is provided on one of the fastening sleeves.
  3. The protective fan guard as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least two fastening sleeves (14, 15) can be braced axially relative both to one another and to the leg (11) in order to secure the protective fan guard.
  4. The protective fan guard as set forth in the preceding claim, characterized in that the at least two fastening sleeves (14, 15) can be braced by means of a screw connection.
  5. The protective fan guard as set forth in the preceding claim, characterized in that, upon bracing of the fastening sleeves (14, 15) to one another, a normal force Fn acts on the at least one leg (11) as a result of the axial movement.
  6. The protective fan guard as set forth in at least one of preceding claims 2 to 5, characterized in that, in the clamping state after securement by means of at least one shoulder of the collar (24) and of at least one conical region in the clamping region (19), a normal force Fn and an axial force Fax act upon the at least one leg (11) for the purpose of receiving the at least one leg (11).
  7. The protective fan guard as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims. characterized in that the clamping region (19) is undersized relative to the leg (11), so that a clamp connection is formed in the fastened state.
  8. The protective fan guard as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a clamping force Fsp for bracing and/or clamping is achieved in the clamping region (19) by the first fastening sleeve (14) and the at least one second fastening sleeve (15) by means of a screw connection.
  9. The protective fan guard as set forth in the preceding claim, characterized in that the clamping force is selected such that both the required clamping forces of the clamping region (19) and the supportable transverse forces are greater than the actually occurring transverse forces Fq, the transverse forces being constituted by Fq = µ * Fsp.
  10. The protective fan guard as set forth in the preceding claim, characterized in that the mounting strut has a second leg (12) which extends in the longitudinal direction substantially parallel to the first leg (11), and both legs (11, 12) are arranged in the clamping region.
  11. The protective fan guard as set forth in the preceding claim, characterized in that the first and second legs (11, 12) are integrally formed in a hairpin shape and an open end of the hairpin shape defines the free longitudinal end.
  12. The protective fan guard as set forth in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first and/or the second leg (11, 12) have a substantially round cross-sectional shape.
  13. The protective fan guard as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it ends flush with the free longitudinal end of the at least first leg (11).
