Definitions

  • the invention relates to a facade or window construction with several window elements arranged next to one another, which are each delimited by frame elements, with guide rails of a sun protection system being provided on two outer frame elements.
  • the subject of the present invention is also a sun protection system for the construction of a corresponding facade / window construction.
  • the sun protection systems are usually designed separately from the fall protection systems that are often prescribed.
  • the solutions described above show fall protection integrated into a sun protection system, which in turn is difficult to adapt to the given facade or window constructions.
  • the KR 2016 0120635 A shows a horizontally displaceable frame that is hung from an on-site parapet and has sun protection.
  • the object of the present invention is to create a sun protection system and a facade / window construction built from it, which are better suited to architectural conditions, e.g. the window layout, can be adjusted.
  • a window / facade construction in which at least one support rail is provided between the guide rails, which is attached to a central frame element and to which a fall protection device is fixed on one or both sides is the side opposite this support strip is fixed to one of the two guide rails or a further support rail.
  • a sun protection system with two lateral guide rails, in which a sun protection curtain is guided, and at least one fall protection, which extends only over a partial area of the guide rail spacing is proposed, which according to the invention provides at least one support rail is, which is formed on at least one side of the fall protection as its holder, while the other side of the fall protection is held on or in one of the two guide rails.
  • the distance between the guide rails and the width of the sun protection curtain are adapted to the window front to be shaded, while the width of the fall protection is adapted to the respective window element to be protected, so that the support rail can be attached to a frame element between two window elements.
  • the at least one fall protection device extends over the width of a window element.
  • a fall protection device could also secure several window elements lying next to one another, that is to say extend accordingly over two or more window elements up to a support rail on a frame element.
  • the at least one window element provided with a fall protection is generally made for the at least one window element provided with a fall protection to be designed to be floor-level and to be provided with an opening option.
  • a preferred sun protection system provides that at least two fall protection devices are provided next to one another, which are held via a respective intermediate support rail, with at least one fall protection device being held in one of the two guide rails.
  • the hold on the guide rails can usually be made particularly stable, so that the fall protection can absorb the required forces.
  • the support rails must of course also be made sufficiently stable and fixed to the mounting base, eg a frame element.
  • a holder for the safety device In order to use different fall protection devices on a sun protection system, e.g. In order to be able to fix safety devices made of glass with different thicknesses on the guide or support rails, provision is made for a holder for the safety device to be formed on the respective guide and / or support rails, the width of which is adjustable.
  • the fall protection devices can be fastened to the at least one guide rail in various ways.
  • the dual function of the at least one guide rail saves parts, which also reduces the installation effort, since the mounting of the guide rail also allows the holder for the fall protection to be fixed on the window or facade side at the same time.
  • the guide rail can be formed in one piece, the fall protection then e.g. can be screwed directly to it or can be pivoted into the undercut when designed as a double-chamber profile rail, which can also be constructed in several parts. There are also other types of attachment possible, which will not be discussed here.
  • Multipart guide rails can also be used, in which parts for guiding the sun protection system are combined with parts for holding the fall protection device. The assembly of these parts to one another can take place before or during the assembly of the facade or window construction.
  • a preferred embodiment of the guide rail provides that the at least one receptacle is formed by between a profile leg arranged on the support profile and a terminal strip, the terminal strip being preloaded against a stop by means of a pretensioned elastic retaining element arranged between the fall protection and the terminal strip is, wherein a bearing is preferably provided between the terminal strip and the support profile, which defines a direction of movement of the terminal strip away from the stop in the direction of the fall protection.
  • the guide rail according to the invention offers the advantage that the fall protection regardless of the type of design after the assembly of the guide rail, for example on a Facade element, a wall or a window or door frame can simply be inserted into the still open receptacle. Then, according to the preferred embodiment, the terminal strip is inserted and moved against the stop and finally clamped under pretension by pressing the elastic holding element into the gap between the terminal strip and the fall protection. As a result, the retaining element, which is prestressed after assembly, secures the terminal strip against loosening without further form-fitting fastening elements.
  • This assembly sequence is independent of the type of fall protection and possibly other functional elements.
  • guide rail elements to be mounted on both guide rails of a sun protection system can be used to guide an additional curtain, e.g. a roll-out insect screen or light strips can be installed in the same way as functional elements extending over the entire width of the system, e.g. Insect protection frames, fall protection in the form of glass panes or railings or burglar protection grids.
  • the terminal strip initially formed separately from the guide rail, also has the advantage that the functional element, in the event that it is arranged over the entire width between the guide rails, can be made wider and can extend to the bottom of the holding receptacle. Installation is still possible without any problems thanks to the terminal strip attached at a later date.
  • the bearing point is designed as a hinge point which defines a pivot axis about which the terminal strip can be pivoted against the stop during assembly.
  • This design offers the advantage that it can be mounted particularly well and still offers a very good and secure hold in the clamped position.
  • a gap is provided between the terminal strip and the anti-fall device located in the assembly position, which gap enables the terminal strip to be inserted into the bearing point if the retaining element is missing.
  • This gap makes it possible, with the functional element already in position, to hang the terminal strip and pivot it into the end position before the elastic holding element is pressed into the gap released by the pivoting for final jamming.
  • This assembly can also be carried out by a fitter alone without difficulties and additional special aids to hold the parts in position.
  • the stop can also be formed by one or more fastening elements which hold the terminal strip in a position pretensioning the holding element.
  • a different assembly sequence can also result here, in that the elastic retaining element is first placed on the fall protection device and, if necessary, pre-fixed, before the terminal strip is then shifted into its position biasing the retaining element by means of the fastening elements.
  • screws are particularly suitable as fastening elements
  • the width of the gap decreases towards the bearing point, because the holding element is then compressed more strongly when it is pushed deeper into the gap and too deep a depression can be prevented.
  • Yet another embodiment of the invention provides that the strength of the terminal strip increases towards the bearing point.
  • the gap tapering towards the carrier profile can be implemented, the increase also being provided independently of this to increase the bending stiffness, since the bending moments towards the bearing point also increase according to the point of application of the clamping force through the holding element.
  • the at least one elastic holding element is preferably made of rubber, and embodiments made of suitable plastics can also be provided.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the elastic holding element is designed as a bar extending over the length of the terminal strip. This results in an optimal clamping force that acts evenly over the entire height of the fall protection.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the invention can provide that the terminal strip has projections and / or recesses on the side facing the fall protection.
  • the holding element is additionally secured against slipping out of the gap, with a particularly good securing result if, furthermore, preferably the at least one elastic holding element on its side facing the terminal strip with at least part of its projections and / or recesses and corresponding ribs / or has depressions.
  • the at least one elastic holding element can have barbs that build up increased pull-out forces. These can also interact with a smooth surface a fall protection to be installed, e.g. with a glass surface.
  • the at least one elastic holding element can also be designed as a spring element made of plastic or metal, e.g. as a spring clip, the legs of which are clamped between the functional element and the terminal strip by simply pushing such a spring clip into the gap located there.
  • the guide rail have bores for mounting on a substrate, which are covered by the fall protection in the mounted state.
  • This arrangement in which the bores e.g. are arranged directly in the profile leg that forms part of the receptacle, a guide rail can be implemented in which no fastening elements are visible after assembly.
  • the accessibility of the fastening elements for mounting on a sub-floor is also possible without any problems, since the terminal strip is not even mounted on the sub-base when the guide rail is installed.
  • a functional element can be a first guide rail insert or a light strip, to name two functional elements that are attached to only one guide rail or its support profile. Wherever a fall protection is provided, it is usually specified above the fall protection.
  • the guide cross-section of the guide rail means that it can be formed directly in the carrier profile, but it is also possible that the guide cross-section for the sun protection system is formed by a second guide rail insert that sits in a holder in the carrier profile.
  • a second guide rail insert that sits in a holder in the carrier profile.
  • the receptacle for the functional element to be arranged between the guide cross-section and the building side of the guide rail.
  • a light strip can be arranged over a fall protection in the receptacle formed over the entire height of the guide rail. It is also possible to cover an area not used by the functional element with a further functional element in order, for example, to cover a groove arranged in the carrier profile for fixing the terminal strip. Since the cross section of the receptacle is generally unchanged in the unused area, a guide rail insert rotated by 180 ° can also be used for this purpose, the bottom of which then closes the receptacle towards the outside.
  • two or more fastening or bearing points are provided for the terminal strip, each of which has a different distance from the profile strip.
  • This embodiment of the invention makes it possible, with the aid of a single pair of guide rail and terminal strip, to fix functional elements of different strengths in the receptacle, e.g. Fall protection made of glass with different glass thicknesses without having to select other parts beforehand.
  • the terminal strip is simply fixed to the appropriate fastening or bearing point during assembly.
  • the corresponding elements can be formed on the terminal strip itself or on the support profile.
  • the receptacle between the terminal strip and the profiled strip can be adapted to different thicknesses and shapes of the functional element by means of variable fastening or bearing points, by adapted profiled strips and / or by elastic retaining elements adapted in thickness and / or shape.
  • Fig. 1 to 5 initially show guide rails without fall protection attached.
  • the principle of the definition of functional elements described there can, however, easily be transferred in its details to the attachment of fall protection devices, to those in connection with Figures 6 and 7 will be discussed in more detail.
  • This in Fig. 8 The window grille shown can also be used as fall protection, while in Fig. 9 Again, a different functional element is described in the form of a light strip.
  • Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a guide rail 10, which has a support profile 12 and a guide rail insert 16 with a guide cross section 18 inserted into a holding receptacle 14.
  • the guide rail cross-section 18 is designed here for guiding guide nipples 22 attached to the sides of slats 20 of an external venetian blind (not shown in detail), but in principle, through a suitable choice of a guide rail insert with a corresponding guide cross-section, the curtain of a roller shutter, a window awning or a sun protection system can also be used be guided in the guide rail according to the ZIP principle.
  • the support profile 12 is shown in FIG Fig. 1 has already been placed on an assembly substrate 24, the substrate 24 here being a facade element or a window frame, but the mountability is not limited to such a substrate.
  • the carrier profile 12 is designed as an extruded profile and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, has three successive chambers, the chamber furthest away from the substrate 24 having already been described as the holding receptacle 14.
  • the two remaining chambers 26, 28 have no particular function related to the invention, but provide the required stability and the spatial arrangement desired here.
  • a profile leg or profile strip 30, which is designed to be considerably wider than the chambers 26, 28 of the support profile 12, is provided for resting on the substrate 24.
  • the profile leg 30 serves, on the one hand, to form a large contact surface for secure mounting on the substrate 24, but the profile leg 30 also forms a flank of a receptacle 32 for an additional functional element 34, which will be discussed in more detail later.
  • Fig. 2 shows a subsequent assembly step in which, after the assembly of the carrier profile 12 on the substrate 24, the functional element 34 is placed on the top side 42 of the profile leg 30.
  • the countersunk heads of the countersunk head screws 38 are covered.
  • the functional element 34 is here a guide rail insert for an insect screen (not shown).
  • a terminal strip 44 which has a hook-like cross-section, is now inserted with a first leg 46 into a groove 48 formed in the carrier profile 12, so that a hinge point is formed, and then pivoted (counterclockwise in the sense of the illustration), until a second leg 50 of the terminal strip 44 rests against a stop 52.
  • This stop is formed set back in the carrier profile 12 so that the second leg 50 is arranged sunk in the inside of the carrier profile 12.
  • a gap 54 initially remains between the terminal strip 44 and the functional element 34.
  • an elastic holding element 56 made of rubber is pressed into the gap. Further fastening measures are not required.
  • the clamping force is built up over the entire length of the functional element 34.
  • the elastic holding element 56 is designed like a strip, but it is profiled in such a way that barbs are formed on its side facing the functional element 34. These strive to stand up when the holding element 56 moves out of the gap 54, so that the holding force increases and the movement out of the gap 54 is impeded.
  • the holding element 56 On the side facing the terminal strip 44, the holding element 56 is designed with a rib 58 and a groove-like recess 60, the rib 58 being intended to snap into a groove-like recess 62 in the terminal strip 44, while a rib-like projection 64 on the terminal strip 44 in the assembled end position is in the recess 60.
  • the corresponding elements define an exact position of the holding element 56 in the end position, since imprecise positioning at this point can be visually very disruptive. In addition, the aforementioned elements in turn make it more difficult to move the holding element 56 out of the gap 54.
  • FIG. 4 Figure 13 is a cross section of a guide rail according to Figs. 1 to 3 shown after the assembly of the sun protection system, the functional element 34, as already discussed, being a guide rail insert for an insect screen.
  • a frame element 134 is inserted as a functional element in the receptacle 32 defined by the terminal strip 44 and the profile leg 30, to which an insect screen fixed frame 135 can be attached in a known manner with the aid of locking pins 137.
  • the frame element 134 always remains in the receptacle 32, while the insect screen fixed frame can be removed by removing the pins 137.
  • this is a guide rail insert 34 rotated by 180 °, as is the case with the FIG Fig. 4
  • the embodiment shown is used as a functional element.
  • the base only has to have corresponding perforations for the locking pins 137, but these also do not affect its use as a guide rail insert, so that they can basically always be present for different uses.
  • the guide rail 10 is provided directly with a glass pane 234 as a functional element in the receptacle 32.
  • the holding element 256 made of rubber is here configured somewhat differently in cross section and has inner cavities 257 to improve the elasticity.
  • an elastic glass support 259 is also arranged between the glass pane 234 and the profile leg 30, which serves to protect the glass pane 234 from direct contact with the profile leg 30.
  • the second elastic element 259 is fixed in the receptacle 32 in an opening 31 provided for this purpose in the profile leg 30 before the glass pane 234 is placed.
  • the glass pane 234 extends only over part of the height of the guide rail 10 and is anchored mirror-symmetrically on both sides in the same way.
  • the terminal strip 244 is shortened only over the height of the glass pane 234, corresponding to the holding element 256.
  • the receptacle 32 can then accommodate a panel for covering or another functional element, e.g. B. a light bar.
  • Fig. 7 shows a further fall protection in the form of a railing 334, which is fixed here as a functional element in the receptacles 32 of the two guide rails 10.
  • the holding element 256 corresponds to that in FIG Fig. 6 shown holding element for clamping the glass pane 234 provided there, since the railing 334 also extends only over part of the height of the guide rail 10.
  • the second elastic holding element can be omitted here because the hollow frame element of the railing is insensitive to direct contact with the profile leg 30.
  • Fig. 8 shows the anchoring of a burglar-proof window grille 434 as a functional element, which is anchored in the receptacles 32 of the two guide rails 10.
  • the attachment corresponds to the attachment of the fall-proof railing 334 from FIG Fig. 7 , however, here the window grille 434 and accordingly also the terminal strip 44 and the holding element 456 are formed over the entire length of the guide rail.
  • Fig. 9 yet another completely different type of functional element 534, which is designed as a light strip.
  • a frame part 535 is in the receptacle 32 in an Figs. 1 to 5 Set in the manner shown, wherein in the frame part in a holder 537 an LED light strip 539 is received.
  • the electrical connection (not shown) can be made through a hole in the profile leg and the window frame.
  • the in Figures 10 to 12 Shown sun protection systems are provided, which are integrated into a facade / window construction.
  • the sun protection systems 1000 are designed in such a way that they extend over a plurality of window elements 102, 106.
  • the guide rails are arranged accordingly on the flanks of the outermost window elements and, for example, connected to the frame elements arranged there as a mounting base.
  • the guide rail 10 can only be formed on one side in a manner discussed above, while on the other side the use of a conventional guide rail 108 without receptacles for additional functional elements is possible because no fall protection is required on the window element 106 provided there. However, if other functional elements are desired, the guide rail there can of course also have the proposed innovations.
  • Simplified support rails 610 fixed to the frame elements are provided between the guide rails and can also be designed as double-sided support rails 611, as in FIG Figures 11 and 12 shown when they are to hold glass elements 234 as fall protection on both sides.
  • the support rails 610, 611 are in Fig. 13 explained in more detail, the facade shown there in section with the sun protection system 1000 according to the embodiment Fig. 12 corresponds.
  • the guide rail 108 on the system side without fall protection is not shown for the sake of simplicity.
  • the guide rail 10 at the edge corresponds in the essential points to the guide rail 10 according to FIG Fig. 6 and is therefore not explained further.
  • the support rails 610, 611 each have a facade-side profile strip 630, 631 and clamping strips 644 for clamping the glass elements 234 shown here as fall protection, so that the clamping takes place in a functionally similar manner to the previously described guide rails 10 with their profile strips 30 and clamping strips 44 .

Description

According to the preamble of claim 1, the invention relates to a facade or window construction with several window elements arranged next to one another, which are each delimited by frame elements, with guide rails of a sun protection system being provided on two outer frame elements. The subject of the present invention is also a sun protection system for the construction of a corresponding facade / window construction.

For example, it is from the EP 2 357 310 A2 known to provide the guide rail of a sun protection system with receptacles for additional functional elements. It is known from a guide rail shown there to provide a second guide chamber for guiding an insect or pollen screen or also a receptacle for a balustrade element. The massive guide rail with the deep opening cross-sections makes it more difficult to assemble functional elements that extend over the entire width of the system. There is also the disadvantage that such guide rails themselves have a not inconsiderable width and cover a correspondingly large area of a window opening. There may also be competition for space when attaching the individual components during assembly.

To simplify the assembly of so-called ZIP guides for corresponding sun protection systems, it is known to make the guide rail divided in the area of the guide cross-sections, as in FIG EP 1 669537 B1 or the EP 2 157 275 A2 is shown. The sole purpose of this is to simplify access to the undercut area of the guide cross-section and to be able to insert the guided elements into the undercut area even when the guide rail is already installed. Additional functional elements cannot be held on these guide rails.

Basically, it is usually the case that the sun protection systems are usually designed separately from the fall protection systems that are often prescribed. The solutions described above, on the other hand, show fall protection integrated into a sun protection system, which in turn is difficult to adapt to the given facade or window constructions.

From the KR 101 545 612 B1 a winding device is known, the curtain of which, depending on its position, serves as sun protection or as a fall protection. The KR 2016 0120635 A shows a horizontally displaceable frame that is hung from an on-site parapet and has sun protection.

The object of the present invention is to create a sun protection system and a facade / window construction built from it, which are better suited to architectural conditions, e.g. the window layout, can be adjusted.

Main features of the invention related to the window / facade construction are specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. Refinements are the subject matter of claims 2 to 7. The present invention also relates to a sun protection system with a fall protection system stated in claim 8. Refinements of this system are specified in claims 8 to 15.

According to the invention, a window / facade construction is provided in which at least one support rail is provided between the guide rails, which is attached to a central frame element and to which a fall protection device is fixed on one or both sides is the side opposite this support strip is fixed to one of the two guide rails or a further support rail.

By combining support rails with at least one guide rail with an additional holding function for fall protection, fall protection and sun protection system can be combined in a common structure regardless of the division of the window front. For use on an existing facade / window construction, a sun protection system with two lateral guide rails, in which a sun protection curtain is guided, and at least one fall protection, which extends only over a partial area of the guide rail spacing, is proposed, which according to the invention provides at least one support rail is, which is formed on at least one side of the fall protection as its holder, while the other side of the fall protection is held on or in one of the two guide rails. The distance between the guide rails and the width of the sun protection curtain are adapted to the window front to be shaded, while the width of the fall protection is adapted to the respective window element to be protected, so that the support rail can be attached to a frame element between two window elements.

Correspondingly, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one fall protection device extends over the width of a window element. In principle, however, a fall protection device could also secure several window elements lying next to one another, that is to say extend accordingly over two or more window elements up to a support rail on a frame element.

In the upper floors, provision is generally made for the at least one window element provided with a fall protection to be designed to be floor-level and to be provided with an opening option.

A preferred sun protection system provides that at least two fall protection devices are provided next to one another, which are held via a respective intermediate support rail, with at least one fall protection device being held in one of the two guide rails. The hold on the guide rails can usually be made particularly stable, so that the fall protection can absorb the required forces. The support rails must of course also be made sufficiently stable and fixed to the mounting base, eg a frame element.

In order to use different fall protection devices on a sun protection system, e.g. In order to be able to fix safety devices made of glass with different thicknesses on the guide or support rails, provision is made for a holder for the safety device to be formed on the respective guide and / or support rails, the width of which is adjustable.

In principle, the fall protection devices can be fastened to the at least one guide rail in various ways. In any case, there is the advantage that the dual function of the at least one guide rail saves parts, which also reduces the installation effort, since the mounting of the guide rail also allows the holder for the fall protection to be fixed on the window or facade side at the same time. In addition, there is an advantage in terms of installation space between the window elements, particularly with narrow frame elements, since both the sun protection and the fall protection form a common construction.

The guide rail can be formed in one piece, the fall protection then e.g. can be screwed directly to it or can be pivoted into the undercut when designed as a double-chamber profile rail, which can also be constructed in several parts. There are also other types of attachment possible, which will not be discussed here.

Multipart guide rails can also be used, in which parts for guiding the sun protection system are combined with parts for holding the fall protection device. The assembly of these parts to one another can take place before or during the assembly of the facade or window construction.

A preferred embodiment of the guide rail provides that the at least one receptacle is formed by between a profile leg arranged on the support profile and a terminal strip, the terminal strip being preloaded against a stop by means of a pretensioned elastic retaining element arranged between the fall protection and the terminal strip is, wherein a bearing is preferably provided between the terminal strip and the support profile, which defines a direction of movement of the terminal strip away from the stop in the direction of the fall protection.

The guide rail according to the invention offers the advantage that the fall protection regardless of the type of design after the assembly of the guide rail, for example on a Facade element, a wall or a window or door frame can simply be inserted into the still open receptacle.

This assembly sequence is independent of the type of fall protection and possibly other functional elements. In this way, guide rail elements to be mounted on both guide rails of a sun protection system can be used to guide an additional curtain, e.g. a roll-out insect screen or light strips can be installed in the same way as functional elements extending over the entire width of the system, e.g. Insect protection frames, fall protection in the form of glass panes or railings or burglar protection grids.

The terminal strip, initially formed separately from the guide rail, also has the advantage that the functional element, in the event that it is arranged over the entire width between the guide rails, can be made wider and can extend to the bottom of the holding receptacle. Installation is still possible without any problems thanks to the terminal strip attached at a later date.

In a preferred development of the invention it is provided that the bearing point is designed as a hinge point which defines a pivot axis about which the terminal strip can be pivoted against the stop during assembly.

This design offers the advantage that it can be mounted particularly well and still offers a very good and secure hold in the clamped position.

It is preferably also provided that a gap is provided between the terminal strip and the anti-fall device located in the assembly position, which gap enables the terminal strip to be inserted into the bearing point if the retaining element is missing. This gap makes it possible, with the functional element already in position, to hang the terminal strip and pivot it into the end position before the elastic holding element is pressed into the gap released by the pivoting for final jamming. This assembly can also be carried out by a fitter alone without difficulties and additional special aids to hold the parts in position.

As an alternative to the terminal strip pretensioned against the stop under the clamping force of the holding element, the stop can also be formed by one or more fastening elements which hold the terminal strip in a position pretensioning the holding element.
A different assembly sequence can also result here, in that the elastic retaining element is first placed on the fall protection device and, if necessary, pre-fixed, before the terminal strip is then shifted into its position biasing the retaining element by means of the fastening elements. For this purpose, screws are particularly suitable as fastening elements

It can be advantageous if the width of the gap decreases towards the bearing point, because the holding element is then compressed more strongly when it is pushed deeper into the gap and too deep a depression can be prevented.

Yet another embodiment of the invention provides that the strength of the terminal strip increases towards the bearing point. In this way, the gap tapering towards the carrier profile can be implemented, the increase also being provided independently of this to increase the bending stiffness, since the bending moments towards the bearing point also increase according to the point of application of the clamping force through the holding element.

The at least one elastic holding element is preferably made of rubber, and embodiments made of suitable plastics can also be provided.

In addition to the option of pressing several elastic holding elements spaced apart or directly adjoining one another into the gap, a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the elastic holding element is designed as a bar extending over the length of the terminal strip. This results in an optimal clamping force that acts evenly over the entire height of the fall protection.

A further preferred embodiment of the invention can provide that the terminal strip has projections and / or recesses on the side facing the fall protection. As a result, the holding element is additionally secured against slipping out of the gap, with a particularly good securing result if, furthermore, preferably the at least one elastic holding element on its side facing the terminal strip with at least part of its projections and / or recesses and corresponding ribs / or has depressions.

Regardless of the formation of corresponding projections / depressions between the terminal strip and the holding element, it can be advantageous for the at least one elastic holding element to have barbs that build up increased pull-out forces. These can also interact with a smooth surface a fall protection to be installed, e.g. with a glass surface.

Alternatively, the at least one elastic holding element can also be designed as a spring element made of plastic or metal, e.g. as a spring clip, the legs of which are clamped between the functional element and the terminal strip by simply pushing such a spring clip into the gap located there.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the guide rail have bores for mounting on a substrate, which are covered by the fall protection in the mounted state. This arrangement, in which the bores e.g. are arranged directly in the profile leg that forms part of the receptacle, a guide rail can be implemented in which no fastening elements are visible after assembly. The accessibility of the fastening elements for mounting on a sub-floor is also possible without any problems, since the terminal strip is not even mounted on the sub-base when the guide rail is installed.

As already mentioned, additional functional elements can also be used, which can be made completely different. Such a functional element can be a first guide rail insert or a light strip, to name two functional elements that are attached to only one guide rail or its support profile. Wherever a fall protection is provided, it is usually specified above the fall protection.

Durch diese Ausführungsform kann ein identisches Trägerprofil durch die Verwendung entsprechend ausgebildeter Führungsschieneneinsätze für verschiedene Typen von Sonnenschutzanlagen dienenThe guide cross-section of the guide rail means that it can be formed directly in the carrier profile, but it is also possible that the guide cross-section for the sun protection system is formed by a second guide rail insert that sits in a holder in the carrier profile. With this embodiment, an identical carrier profile can be used for different types of sun protection systems through the use of appropriately designed guide rail inserts

In particular with the concealed arrangement of the fastening elements, it is advisable for the receptacle for the functional element to be arranged between the guide cross-section and the building side of the guide rail.

In the case of functional elements that do not extend over the entire height of the guide rail, it is possible to arrange two or more functional elements in the receptacle. E.g. a light strip can be arranged over a fall protection in the receptacle formed over the entire height of the guide rail.

In yet another preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that two or more fastening or bearing points are provided for the terminal strip, each of which has a different distance from the profile strip.

This embodiment of the invention makes it possible, with the aid of a single pair of guide rail and terminal strip, to fix functional elements of different strengths in the receptacle, e.g. Fall protection made of glass with different glass thicknesses without having to select other parts beforehand. For this purpose, the terminal strip is simply fixed to the appropriate fastening or bearing point during assembly. The corresponding elements can be formed on the terminal strip itself or on the support profile.

In summary, the receptacle between the terminal strip and the profiled strip can be adapted to different thicknesses and shapes of the functional element by means of variable fastening or bearing points, by adapted profiled strips and / or by elastic retaining elements adapted in thickness and / or shape.

Fig.1 bis 5 zeigen zunächst Führungsschienen ohne daran festgelegte Absturzsicherungen. Fig. 1 to 5 initially show guide rails without fall protection attached. The principle of the definition of functional elements described there can, however, easily be transferred in its details to the attachment of fall protection devices, to those in connection with Figures 6 and 7 will be discussed in more detail. This in Fig. 8 The window grille shown can also be used as fall protection, while in Fig. 9 Again, a different functional element is described in the form of a light strip.

Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a guide rail 10, which has a support profile 12 and a guide rail insert 16 with a guide cross section 18 inserted into a holding receptacle 14. The guide rail cross-section 18 is designed here for guiding guide nipples 22 attached to the sides of slats 20 of an external venetian blind (not shown in detail), but in principle, through a suitable choice of a guide rail insert with a corresponding guide cross-section, the curtain of a roller shutter, a window awning or a sun protection system can also be used be guided in the guide rail according to the ZIP principle.

The support profile 12 is shown in FIG Fig. 1 has already been placed on an assembly substrate 24, the substrate 24 here being a facade element or a window frame, but the mountability is not limited to such a substrate. The carrier profile 12 is designed as an extruded profile and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, has three successive chambers, the chamber furthest away from the substrate 24 having already been described as the holding receptacle 14. The two remaining chambers 26, 28 have no particular function related to the invention, but provide the required stability and the spatial arrangement desired here. A profile leg or profile strip 30, which is designed to be considerably wider than the chambers 26, 28 of the support profile 12, is provided for resting on the substrate 24. This serves, on the one hand, to form a large contact surface for secure mounting on the substrate 24, but the profile leg 30 also forms a flank of a receptacle 32 for an additional functional element 34, which will be discussed in more detail later. The profile leg To form the receptacle 32, however, the support surface for the carrier profile 12 does not necessarily have to form at the same time.

In the profile leg 30, several bores 36 are provided over the length of the carrier profile 12, through which the carrier profile 12 can be mounted on the substrate 24 with the aid of fastening screws 38. Edges 40 of the bores 36 are countersunk, so that when the countersunk screws 38 shown are used, they can be countersunk in alignment with the surface 42 of the profile leg 30 in the region of the receptacle 32.

Fig. 2 shows a subsequent assembly step in which, after the assembly of the carrier profile 12 on the substrate 24, the functional element 34 is placed on the top side 42 of the profile leg 30. The countersunk heads of the countersunk head screws 38 are covered. The functional element 34 is here a guide rail insert for an insect screen (not shown).

In the next step, which is in Fig. 3 is illustrated, a terminal strip 44, which has a hook-like cross-section, is now inserted with a first leg 46 into a groove 48 formed in the carrier profile 12, so that a hinge point is formed, and then pivoted (counterclockwise in the sense of the illustration), until a second leg 50 of the terminal strip 44 rests against a stop 52. This stop is formed set back in the carrier profile 12 so that the second leg 50 is arranged sunk in the inside of the carrier profile 12. A gap 54 initially remains between the terminal strip 44 and the functional element 34.

For the final clamping of the functional element 34, an elastic holding element 56 made of rubber is pressed into the gap. Further fastening measures are not required. The clamping force is built up over the entire length of the functional element 34.

The elastic holding element 56 is designed like a strip, but it is profiled in such a way that barbs are formed on its side facing the functional element 34. These strive to stand up when the holding element 56 moves out of the gap 54, so that the holding force increases and the movement out of the gap 54 is impeded.

On the side facing the terminal strip 44, the holding element 56 is designed with a rib 58 and a groove-like recess 60, the rib 58 being intended to snap into a groove-like recess 62 in the terminal strip 44, while a rib-like projection 64 on the terminal strip 44 in the assembled end position is in the recess 60. The corresponding elements define an exact position of the holding element 56 in the end position, since imprecise positioning at this point can be visually very disruptive. In addition, the aforementioned elements in turn make it more difficult to move the holding element 56 out of the gap 54.

In Figures 4 to 9 A few variants of different functional elements are now briefly presented, the already described guide rail insert 16 with the guide nipples 22 of the slats 20 of a venetian blind each remaining unchanged. Nevertheless, with all variants of functional elements, another sun protection system with its curtain could also be guided in suitable guide rail inserts, such as a roller shutter, an awning, a roller blind or the like.

In Fig. 4 Figure 13 is a cross section of a guide rail according to Figs. 1 to 3 shown after the assembly of the sun protection system, the functional element 34, as already discussed, being a guide rail insert for an insect screen.

In Fig. 5 a frame element 134 is inserted as a functional element in the receptacle 32 defined by the terminal strip 44 and the profile leg 30, to which an insect screen fixed frame 135 can be attached in a known manner with the aid of locking pins 137. The frame element 134 always remains in the receptacle 32, while the insect screen fixed frame can be removed by removing the pins 137. As can be seen from the cross section of the frame element 134, this is a guide rail insert 34 rotated by 180 °, as is the case with the FIG Fig. 4 The embodiment shown is used as a functional element. The base only has to have corresponding perforations for the locking pins 137, but these also do not affect its use as a guide rail insert, so that they can basically always be present for different uses.

It should also be mentioned the possibility of simply covering the receptacle by means of guide rail inserts rotated by 180 ° or simple C-profiles, the only function of the functional elements then being to cover otherwise visible fastening elements.

In Fig. 6 the guide rail 10 is provided directly with a glass pane 234 as a functional element in the receptacle 32. The holding element 256 made of rubber is here configured somewhat differently in cross section and has inner cavities 257 to improve the elasticity. Deviating from the previously described embodiments, an elastic glass support 259 is also arranged between the glass pane 234 and the profile leg 30, which serves to protect the glass pane 234 from direct contact with the profile leg 30. The second elastic element 259 is fixed in the receptacle 32 in an opening 31 provided for this purpose in the profile leg 30 before the glass pane 234 is placed.
The glass pane 234 extends only over part of the height of the guide rail 10 and is anchored mirror-symmetrically on both sides in the same way. It serves as a fall protection. As an example, the terminal strip 244 is shortened only over the height of the glass pane 234, corresponding to the holding element 256. In the case of a longer holding element and a longer terminal strip, the receptacle 32 can then accommodate a panel for covering or another functional element, e.g. B. a light bar.

Fig. 7 shows a further fall protection in the form of a railing 334, which is fixed here as a functional element in the receptacles 32 of the two guide rails 10. The holding element 256 corresponds to that in FIG Fig. 6 shown holding element for clamping the glass pane 234 provided there, since the railing 334 also extends only over part of the height of the guide rail 10. However, the second elastic holding element can be omitted here because the hollow frame element of the railing is insensitive to direct contact with the profile leg 30.

Fig. 8 shows the anchoring of a burglar-proof window grille 434 as a functional element, which is anchored in the receptacles 32 of the two guide rails 10. In cross-section, the attachment corresponds to the attachment of the fall-proof railing 334 from FIG Fig. 7 , however, here the window grille 434 and accordingly also the terminal strip 44 and the holding element 456 are formed over the entire length of the guide rail.

Furthermore shows Fig. 9 yet another completely different type of functional element 534, which is designed as a light strip. Here, a frame part 535 is in the receptacle 32 in an Figs. 1 to 5 Set in the manner shown, wherein in the frame part in a holder 537 an LED light strip 539 is received. The electrical connection (not shown) can be made through a hole in the profile leg and the window frame.

In order to allow a number of adjacent floor-to-ceiling windows 102, 106 to be shaded, which only partially require fall protection, the in Figures 10 to 12 Shown sun protection systems are provided, which are integrated into a facade / window construction. Here, the sun protection systems 1000 are designed in such a way that they extend over a plurality of window elements 102, 106. The guide rails are arranged accordingly on the flanks of the outermost window elements and, for example, connected to the frame elements arranged there as a mounting base. The in Figures 10 and 12 the guide rail 10 can only be formed on one side in a manner discussed above, while on the other side the use of a conventional guide rail 108 without receptacles for additional functional elements is possible because no fall protection is required on the window element 106 provided there. However, if other functional elements are desired, the guide rail there can of course also have the proposed innovations.

Simplified support rails 610 fixed to the frame elements are provided between the guide rails and can also be designed as double-sided support rails 611, as in FIG Figures 11 and 12 shown when they are to hold glass elements 234 as fall protection on both sides.

The support rails 610, 611 are in Fig. 13 explained in more detail, the facade shown there in section with the sun protection system 1000 according to the embodiment Fig. 12 corresponds. The guide rail 108 on the system side without fall protection is not shown for the sake of simplicity. Frame elements 624, 625 of the facade, which are arranged between the window elements 102, 106 and on their edges, serve as the mounting base 24. The guide rail 10 at the edge corresponds in the essential points to the guide rail 10 according to FIG Fig. 6 and is therefore not explained further.

The support rails 610, 611 each have a facade-side profile strip 630, 631 and clamping strips 644 for clamping the glass elements 234 shown here as fall protection, so that the clamping takes place in a functionally similar manner to the previously described guide rails 10 with their profile strips 30 and clamping strips 44 . Here, too, the clamping force is built up by elastic holding elements 256 and glass supports 259, which are correspondingly deformed during assembly. For mounting glass elements 234, 634 on both sides, the two-sided support rail 611 has a profile strip 631 on both sides provided as a glass support, while the terminal strips 644 used for both types of support strips are the same here. But this is not absolutely necessary.

As a special feature, the support rails 610, 611 each have two bearing points 660, which are designed here as grooves on the clamping strips 644 as an example. These make it possible to mount the clamping strips 644 at different distances from the profile strips 630, 631 in order to be able to mount different glass thicknesses without having to use other parts. This multiple formation of bearing points can also be transferred in the same way to the guide rails, which are then designed in the area of the terminal strips in accordance with the support rails 610, 611.

As has been shown, completely different functional elements can be set on the guide rails 10 with the aid of a single support profile and a terminal strip, it also being possible to adapt the guide cross-section for different types of sun protection systems by means of corresponding guide rail inserts. The guide rails can be combined as required with conventional guide rails and with support rails arranged between the guide rails to form a sun protection system according to the invention.

The invention is not restricted to one of the embodiments described above, but can be modified in many ways.
