The subject of the present invention is a corkscrew of the "double lever" type comprising:
  • a twist having a free end and an end secured to a rack,
  • a tubular body housing said swirler and having a lower portion designed able to marry a neck of a bottle and an upper portion defining a head for guiding in translation and in rotation of said rack along and around the axis of said tubular body between a low position and a high position in which the free end of said twist extends respectively in the lower portion and in a middle portion of said tubular body,
  • two sets, each comprising a lever arm and a toothed wheel meshing in said rack, mounted in rotation around an axis perpendicular to the axis of said tubular body, on hinge shoulders bordering said guide head, said lever arm being movable between a folded position against the tubular body and a position separated from the tubular body,
  • for each set, means for securing the lever arm to the toothed wheel arranged to adopt an active state in which the lever arm is secured to the toothed wheel and an inactive state in which the lever arm is disengaged from the toothed wheel .

A corkscrew of the “double lever” type conventionally makes it possible to facilitate the removal of a cork from the neck of a bottle by distributing the pulling force to be supplied over the two arms of a user.

At present, the double lever arm corkscrews available on the market have common structural characteristics and can be grouped into two different categories depending on the nature of the latter.

Thus, in a first category, double lever arm corkscrews mainly comprise a tubular body made of a rigid material, generally ZAMAK (registered trademark) or another hard plastic material on which two lever arms rotate in phase. lever. These arms are extended by a partially toothed wheel meshing in a rack integral with the auger and which moves in translation along the axis of the auger between a high position and a low position. The implementation of a corkscrew with double lever arm conforming to this first category supposes the following steps:
  1. 1. Positioning of the corkscrew on the neck of a bottle, the two lever arms being lowered and folded against the body of the corkscrew and the rack being placed in the raised position,
  2. 2. Grasp, using the same hand, the corkscrew at the level of the portion comprising the two lever arms and the bottle,
  3. 3. Grip with the other hand of the handle extending the rack,
  4. 4. Screwing the auger into the cork, taking care to firmly hold the corkscrew as well as the bottle in order to prevent any untimely rotation of the latter in relation to the corkscrew, until the two arms of the lever begin to move away from the tubular body to reach a raised position,
  5. 5. Release of the corkscrew when the two lever arms rise,
  6. 6. When the two arms are sufficiently raised holding, again with one hand, the lower portion of the tubular body and the bottle and inserting the twist until the maximum travel of the two lever arms,
  7. 7. Action of the two hands on the lever arms to replace them in the lower position folded against the tubular body and extract the cap,
  8. 8. Traction on the corkscrew by means of the handle with which the rack is provided, in order to proceed with the complete extraction of the cork, because the stroke of the arms is generally too short,
  9. 9. Cap gripping,
  10. 10. Simultaneously holding the rack head and unscrewing the gimlet to release the plug.

This type of corkscrew, examples of which are known from the publications WO 03/031312 And FROM 20 2009 004 857 , has the disadvantage of requiring, during its use, many gestures assuming a certain dexterity. It turns out to be particularly tedious handling during most of the steps listed above. In particular, handling difficulties have been observed during the screwing of the auger into the cork because, at this stage, it is necessary to firmly hold both the lower part of the corkscrew and the bottle in order to prevent it doesn't turn, which requires some physical strength. Furthermore, the phase in which the lever arms begin to rise also has a delicate character and requires special attention since the user must, at least for a few seconds, loosen his hand to allow the movement of the arms. of leverage. Finally, the complete removal of the cork often requires additional intervention on the part of the user and injuries due to inappropriate contact with the tip of the auger when unscrewing the cork have also been reported.

The double lever arm corkscrews of the second family comprise, like those of the first family, a rigid tubular body, two lever arms and a rack in translation with respect to the axis of the gimlet. In this second family, the corkscrews are also equipped with a system allowing the lever arms to be separated from the rack fitted with the spin using a ratchet system. Such a structure thus makes it possible to prevent the two lever arms from rising during the insertion of the auger into the cork, and eliminates the delicate nature of handling such corkscrews during this phase. Nevertheless, all of the other disadvantages mentioned above for the first family always arise with the corkscrews of the second family which consequently do not give any further satisfaction.

The object of the present invention is to provide a corkscrew with a double lever arm having an innovative structure making it possible to overcome all the drawbacks mentioned above and thus to provide a solution having improved ergonomics, allowing a user to extract easily, with ease of handling and without having to provide excessive force, a cork retained in the neck of a bottle. Furthermore, another object of the invention is to provide a corkscrew allowing complete extraction of a cork from the neck of a bottle during its handling, while avoiding the possible problems of crumbling sometimes observed and due to excessive screwing of the gimlet into the cork.

A cet effet, la présente invention concerne un tire-bouchon selon la revendication 1.To this end, the present invention relates to a corkscrew according to claim 1.

In other words, the corkscrew according to the invention is equipped with means designed capable of preventing the securing means from reaching their active position when the lever arms are folded against the body of said corkscrew. This is particularly advantageous during the phase of screwing the gimlet into the cork, given that the lever arms then remain motionless, unlike the lever arms of conventional corkscrews which move during this phase to reach their position away from the body of the corkscrew. Thus, thanks to such a feature of the invention, the user is never bothered by the lever arms during its manipulation, which is made less tedious as a result.

According to the invention, each toothed wheel comprises at least one shoulder extending between the base of its teeth and one of its faces and in that said means for securing a lever arm with a toothed wheel comprise a member, having at least one rectilinear branch, mounted movable in translation along the longitudinal axis of said lever arm in a sleeve with which said lever arm is provided, between a retracted position in said sleeve, corresponding to its inactive state, and a position partially extracted from the sheath, corresponding to its active state, in which an upper portion of the rectilinear branch is engaged in a notch, formed radially in the shoulder of the said toothed wheel, the displacement of the said member from its active state to its inactive state s 'performing against an elastic return means inserted between a bottom that includes the sheath and a lower edge of said member.

In this case, the invention also provides that each hinge shoulder comprises at least one lug extending from the guide head between a wall of the lever arm and the face of the toothed wheel forming said shoulder with the base of the teeth, while the width of the rectilinear branch forming said member has a dimension corresponding substantially to the thickness of the lug plus the width of the notch, and the sleeve is formed on said lever arm in such a way that the portion upper part of said member extends, during the rotation of the lever arm, vis-à-vis both the edge of the lug and of the notch, and in that the edge of the said lug forms a curve comprising a lower section whose points are located at a distance from the axis greater than the radius of the faces of the toothed wheel and a lateral section and upper whose points are located at a distance from the axis less than the radius of the faces of the toothed wheel.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, this corkscrew is characterized in that said member has a substantially "U" structure and comprises two rectilinear branches connected by a transverse branch, while each toothed wheel has two shoulders extending respectively between each of its faces and the base of its teeth, and two notches formed one opposite the other on each shoulder and designed capable of simultaneously receiving the upper portion of one of the rectilinear branches of said member in "U" in the active state thereof, and in that each hinge shoulder is constituted by a pair of legs each extending from the guide head between a face of the toothed wheel and a front wall or back of the lever arm.

In this case, it is provided that said notches are formed vis-à-vis the space between two consecutive teeth and in that the distance between the upper face of the transverse branch of the "U" member and the upper edge of the straight branches is greater than the height of a notch and less than the distance between the bottom of a notch and the top of a tooth.

Furthermore, in accordance with an additional characteristic of the invention, the lower face of the transverse branch of the "U"-shaped member and the bottom of the sheath comprise coaxial recesses capable of housing respectively the upper end and the lower end of the elastic return means.

The invention further provides that the sheath extends along a transverse face of the lever arm between its front and rear faces.

Also, it has been imagined that the tubular body has a frustoconical shape in which the diameter of its lower portion is greater than the diameter of its middle portion, and that the peripheral wall of the tubular body comprises two longitudinal slots extending one in face of the other, between the two hinge shoulders, from the guide head to the lower edge of the tubular body, and delimiting on the tubular body two longitudinal wings against each of which rests a lever arm in its folded-down position against the tubular body.

Preferably, provision is made for at least the two longitudinal wings of the tubular body to be made of a deformable material.

Advantageously, the corkscrew according to the invention may also comprise means for locking the tubular body in rotation with respect to a neck of a bottle.

In addition, the tubular body may comprise at its lower portion, on the internal face of each of the longitudinal flanges, a strip of an elastomeric material housed in a recess extending between the lower edge of the tubular body and a shoulder formed between the lower portion and the middle portion of the tubular body.

Furthermore, the tubular body preferably has a length such that said twist remains fully housed inside its lower portion in the low position of said rack while the lower edge of the tubular body has a bearing face on a plane s extending between the inner face and the outer face of its peripheral wall.

The corkscrew according to the invention is optionally further characterized in that it may include means for signaling the screwing depth of said twist in the cork of a bottle, which may be defined by at least one mark affixed on said rack, representative of a screwing depth of the auger in a plug not to be exceeded.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the detailed description which follows, relating to an embodiment of the corkscrew according to the invention given solely by way of indication and not limitation.

The tubular body 2 has a lower portion 20 designed able to marry a neck 6 of a bottle 7 and an upper portion 21 defining a guide head in translation and in rotation of the rack 4 along and around the axis of the body tubular 2 between a low position (cf. fig. 3 and 4 ) and a high position (cf. fig. 1 and 2 ) in which the free end 30 of the auger 3 extends respectively in the lower portion 20 and in a middle portion 22 of the tubular body 2.

3 et 4), dans laquelle ils s'étendent de part et d'autre de la poignée 5.The corkscrew 1 according to the invention further comprises two subassemblies, each comprising a lever arm 8 and a toothed wheel 9 meshing in the rack 4 through a window 37 formed in the upper portion 21 of the tubular body 2. Each of these sub-assemblies is rotatably mounted about an axis 10 perpendicular to the axis of the tubular body 2, on an articulation shoulder 11 bordering the guide head 21. Thus, the lever arms 8 can be moved between a folded position against the tubular body 2 (cf. fig. 1 and 2 ) and a position separated from the tubular body 2 (cf. fig. 3 and 4 ), in which they extend on either side of the handle 5.

Furthermore, the corkscrew 1 comprises, for each subassembly, means for securing the lever arm 8 to the toothed wheel 9, these securing means being arranged to adopt an active state in which the lever arm 8 is secured to the toothed wheel 9 and an inactive state in which the lever arm 8 is disengaged from the toothed wheel 9, the latter then being able to rotate without driving the lever arm 8 during its rotation.

According to the invention, the corkscrew 1 advantageously comprises means for maintaining the securing means in their inactive state when the lever arms 8 are placed in their folded position against the tubular body 2. This has the advantage of eliminating, for a user manipulating the corkscrew 1, the disadvantage represented by the inevitable rotational movement of the lever arms upwards, observed when screwing the gimlet into the cork with the corkscrews of the state of the technical.

Thus, thanks to this characteristic, with the corkscrew 1 according to the invention, a user no longer has to open and then close the hand with which he holds it on a neck 6 of a bottle 7, when screwing the twist in a cork, to allow the lever arms 8 to pass, these remaining completely immobile in their folded position against the body 2 of the corkscrew 1 throughout the step of screwing the twist 3 into a cork.

With reference to the figure 5 , in the variant embodiment illustrated, the means for securing a lever arm 8 with a toothed wheel 9 comprise on the one hand a "U" shaped member 12, having two rectilinear branches 13 connected by a transverse branch 132, and mounted to move in translation along the longitudinal axis of the lever arm 8 in a sleeve 14 with which said lever arm 8 is provided and, on the other hand, two notches 15, formed radially opposite one of the other, in two shoulders 90 that the toothed wheel 9 comprises, said shoulders 90 extending on either side of the teeth 91 of the toothed wheel 9, between the base 92 of these and one of the faces 93, 94 of the toothed wheel 9. In addition, provision is made for the notches 15 of each of the toothed wheels 9 to always be located outside the windows 37 that comprise the upper part of the tubular body 2, whatever the position of the wheels. toothed 9 with respect to the rack 4, while their axes Y1, Y2 form with the axis X of the tubular body 2 angles α, β, preferably identical.

More precisely, the "U"-shaped member 12 is movable between a position pushed into the sheath 14, corresponding to an inactive state, and a position partially extracted from the sheath 14, corresponding to an active state, in which the upper portions 130 of each of its rectilinear branches 13 are engaged in one of the notches 15 that the toothed wheel 9 comprises, and the rotation of each lever arm 8 then drives that of each toothed wheel 9, and vice versa.

It should be noted that the movement of the "U"-shaped member 12 from its active state to its inactive state takes place against a compression spring 16, or any other equivalent elastic return means, inserted between a first recess 18 (cf. fig. 4 ) formed in a bottom 17 that comprises the sheath 14 and a second recess 19 extending on the underside of the transverse branch 132 of said "U" member 12, coaxially to the first recess 19 and preferably in the axis of the gap 131 between the two rectilinear branches 13.

3).Each toothed wheel 9 is housed between a pair of tabs 24, spaced apart for this purpose by a distance slightly greater than the thickness of said toothed wheel 9. Furthermore, the two tabs 24 of a same pair are themselves inserted between a front face 80 and a rear face 81 that each lever arm 8 comprises (cf. fig. 3 ).

The lugs 24, the toothed wheels 9 as well as the front and rear faces 80, 81 of the lever arms 8 are further each provided with coaxial holes, arranged to allow the passage of the axle 10 through the set of them.

As seen in particular on the figure 5 , the edge 25 of each leg 24 also forms a curve of a particular shape.

It comprises a lower section 26, the points of which are located at a distance d 0 from the axis 10 greater than the radius of the faces 93, 94 of a toothed wheel 9, this lower section 26 being extended by a lateral section and upper 27 whose points are located at a distance d 1 from the axis 10 less than the radius of the faces 93, 94 of a toothed wheel 9.

It should also be noted that when mounting the sub-assemblies on the hinge shoulders 11, the toothed wheels 9 are positioned in such a way that the notches 15 extend opposite the lateral and upper portion 27 of the edge 25 legs 24, and the angles α, β are substantially identical.

L'interstice 131 s'étendant entre les deux branches rectilignes 13 présente quant à lui une dimension l 2 légèrement supérieure à l'épaisseur l 3 des dents 91 des roues dentées 9.Moreover, in accordance with the invention, each rectilinear branch 13 of a "U"-shaped member 12 has a width l 0 corresponding substantially to the thickness e of a tab 24 plus the width l 1 of a shoulder 90 and therefore a notch 15, while the sheath 14 is formed on each lever arm 8 preferably along a transverse face 82 between its front 80 and rear 81 faces, and in such a way that the upper portion 130 of each rectilinear branch 13 of a "U"-shaped member 12 extends, during the rotation of a lever arm 8, vis-à-vis both the edge 25 of the tab 24 and the shoulder 90, therefore the notch 15, considered. The gap 131 extending between the two rectilinear branches 13 has a dimension l 2 slightly greater than the thickness l 3 of the teeth 91 of the toothed wheels 9.

5). De même, la face supérieure 133 de la branche transversale 132 de l'organe en « U » 12 est bordée par des arêtes biseautées 136.In accordance with an additional characteristic of the corkscrew 1 according to the invention, in the variant embodiment illustrated, the two notches 15 that each toothed wheel 9 has are formed opposite a space comprised between two consecutive teeth 91 . Furthermore, the distance d 2 between the upper face 133 of the transverse branch 132 of the "U" shaped member 12 and the upper edge 134 of its rectilinear branches 13 is greater than the height h of a notch 15 and less than the distance d 3 between the bottom of a notch 15 and the top 95 of a tooth 91. It should be noted that in addition, in the variant embodiment illustrated, the top 95 of each tooth 91 is by bevelled edges 96, 97 (cf. fig. 5 ). Similarly, the upper face 133 of the transverse branch 132 of the "U" member 12 is bordered by beveled edges 136.

Given that the points of this lower section 26 are located at a distance d 0 from the axis 10 greater than the radius of the faces 93, 94 of a toothed wheel 9, the lower portion 26 of each lug 24 rests on the upper edge 134 of a rectilinear branch 13 of the "U"-shaped member 12 and thus pushes the latter towards the bottom 17 of its sheath 14, moving it away shoulders 90 of the toothed wheel 9 considered, and by compressing the compression spring 16.

In other words, in this folded position against the tubular body 2, the lever arms 9 are inevitably separated from the toothed wheels 9 thanks to the action of the lower portion 26 of the edge 25 of the lugs 24 on the upper edges 134 of the straight branches 13 of the "U" shaped member 12, preventing any engagement of the latter in the notches 15, the member in "U" being thus consequently maintained in its inactive position. A rotational movement of the toothed wheels 9 under the effect of a movement of the rack 4 is therefore carried out independently of any rotational movement of the lever arms 8 which advantageously remain immobile in their folded position against the tubular body 2, without define an annoyance for the user.

The user must therefore move the lever arms 8 themselves between their folded position against the tubular body 2 and their position separated from the tubular body 2 in which they are located on either side of the handle 5.

During this phase, the "U"-shaped member 12 secured to each lever arm 8 performs a counterclockwise rotational movement during which it moves away from the lower portion 26 of the edge 25 of each tab 24. When it arrives under the lateral and upper portion 27, the upper edges of its rectilinear branches 13 are released from contact with the edge 25 of each tab 24, due to the change in profile of the latter relative to the lower portion 26. They then arrive in contact with each shoulder 90 of the toothed wheels 9. In this position, in accordance with the invention, the compression spring 16 is still compressed. Then, when the lever arm 8 continues its course and reaches the height of the notches 15 formed in the shoulders 90, the latter no longer act on the upper edges 134 of the rectilinear branches 13 which then engage in the notches 15 under the effect of the relaxation of the compression spring 16, thus placing the member in "U" 12 in its active position. In this state, the toothed wheels 9 and the lever arms 8 drive each other in rotation.

1 et 2).In order to achieve all of the objectives set in the preamble, provision has also been made to give the tubular body 2 a frustoconical shape in which the diameter d 4 of its lower portion 20 is greater than the diameter d 5 of its middle portion 22. In addition, in the variant embodiment illustrated, the peripheral wall of the tubular body 2 comprises two longitudinal slots 135 extending one in front of the other, between the two hinge shoulders 11, from the guide head 21 to the lower edge 28 of the tubular body 2. These two longitudinal slots 135 delimit on the tubular body 2 two longitudinal flanges 29 (cf. fig. 6 ) against each of which rests a lever arm 8 in its folded position against the tubular body 2 (cf. fig. 1 and 2 ).

Also, the tubular body 2, or at least its two longitudinal wings 29, are preferably made of a deformable material, such as for example a deformable plastic material or any material having equivalent properties.

4 ) housed in a recess 32 (cf. fig. 6 ) extending, on their inner face 35, between the lower edge 28 of the tubular body 2 and a shoulder 33 itself formed between the lower portion 20 and the middle portion 22 of the tubular body 2.

The two strips 31 of an elastomeric material advantageously define means for locking the corkscrew 1 in rotation with respect to a neck 6 of a bottle 7.

Furthermore, the tubular body 2 of the corkscrew 1 also has the specificity of having a length such that the auger 3 remains fully housed inside its lower portion 20 in the low position of the rack 4, which allows avoid any risk of untimely injury to a user and inappropriate scratching of a plane on which the corkscrew 1 would have been placed vertically. In order to improve the stability of such positioning, the lower edge 28 of the tubular body 2 also has a bearing face 34 on a plane extending between the internal face 35 and the external face 36 of its peripheral wall.

The corkscrew 1 according to the invention also has the advantage of comprising means for signaling the screwing depth of the auger 3 in the cork of a bottle 7.

These can for example be defined by at least one marker, such as a colored line, affixed to the rack 4, representing a screwing depth of the auger 3 in a stopper not to be exceeded. Such a marker, inevitably appearing in the longitudinal slots 135 of the body 2 when the auger 3 is screwed into a stopper, and consequently during the translation movement towards its low position of the said rack 4, thus constitutes a visual signal indicating to the user that he has reached a screwing depth beyond which there is a risk of cork crumbling, synonymous with pieces of cork in the wine.

The implementation of the corkscrew 1 according to the invention and its advantages will now be described.

When a user wishes to extract a cork from the neck 6 of a bottle 7 by means of the corkscrew 1 according to the invention, he first places the latter in its state illustrated in figure 1 , in which the rack 4 is in its high position and the two lever arms 8 are in their folded position against the two longitudinal flanges 29 of the tubular body 2. As described above, in this state, each member in "U" 12 is placed in its inactive state, the lever arms 8 are therefore separated from the toothed wheels 9.

Then, the user positions the corkscrew 1 on the neck 6 of a bottle 7. This step is facilitated by the particular shape of the tubular body 2 and the use of a deformable material for its design. The presence of the strips 31 of an elastomeric material also makes it possible to avoid any risk of rotation of the corkscrew 1 during the screwing of the auger 3 into a cork, and saves the user the supply of a effort to avoid such rotation.

Ceci provoque un déplacement de la crémaillère 4 vers sa position basse qui s'accompagne d'un mouvement de rotation antihoraire des roues dentées 9.The user then holds the bottle 7 with one hand at its neck 6 through the lower part of the body 2 without touching the bottle 7. The bottle 7 can also be placed on a horizontal plane. In this case, the user does not need to support his weight. Be that as it may, with his free hand he can then undertake the screwing of the auger 3 into the cork to be extracted, by means of an actuation of the handle 5. This causes a displacement of the rack 4 towards its low position which is accompanied of a counter-clockwise rotational movement of the toothed wheels 9.

When the user estimates that the desired screwing depth of the auger 3 in the cap has been reached, for example following the appearance in a longitudinal slot 135 of a corresponding mark affixed to the rack 4, he releases the handle 5. In accordance with the invention, the notches 15 of the toothed wheels 9 then extend on either side of the upper portion 21 of the tubular body 2 and in such a way that their axis Y1, Y2 is substantially parallel to the axis X of the tubular body 2. In short, in this position, the axes Y1, Y2 of the notches 15 form an angle of the order of 180° with the longitudinal axis of each lever arm 8.

Ce mouvement de rotation des bras de levier 8 s'effectue indépendamment de toute rotation des roues dentées 9, toujours désolidarisées des bras de levier 8.The bottle 7 being placed on a horizontal plane, the user then uses both hands to raise the two lever arms 8 and place them gradually in their position spaced from the tubular body 2, in which they extend on both sides. the other of the handle 5. This rotational movement of the lever arms 8 takes place independently of any rotation of the toothed wheels 9, which are always disconnected from the lever arms 8.

As described above, when the latter reach the height of the notches 15, the upper edges of the rectilinear branches 13 of each "U" member engage in the notches 15 and thus secure each lever arm 8 to a toothed wheel 9. In this position, the longitudinal axis of each lever arm forms an angle of the order of 0° with the axis Y1, Y2 of a notch 15.

The user can then completely extract the stopper from the neck 6 in a single movement, consisting in replacing, using both hands, the two lever arms 8 in their folded position against the tubular body 2.

Une fois extrait, le bouchon s'étend dans la portion intermédiaire 22 du corps tubulaire 2.During this movement, each rectilinear branch 13 of the "U"-shaped member 12, placed in its active position, presses against a wall of a notch 15. In addition, a bevelled edge 136 of the upper face 133 of the branch transverse 132 of the "U" member presses on a bevelled edge 96 that each vertex of a tooth 91 has. The rotational movement of the lever arms 8 consequently induces a 180° toothed wheels 9, causing the rack 3 to move to its high position. extracted, the stopper extends into the intermediate portion 22 of the tubular body 2.

In this regard, the inner face 35 of the latter also has on each longitudinal flange 29, a second shoulder 38, against which the upper face of a stopper comes into abutment after its extraction from a neck 6. To release the stopper from the body of the corkscrew 2 and of the gimlet 3, it is thus sufficient to unscrew the latter by means of the handle 5, while bringing the two lever arms 8 of the tubular body 2 closer to each other, in order to pinch the cap and prevent it from rotating. The form particular feature of the tubular body 2 then allows the stopper to fall off by itself, as soon as the user stops acting on the two lever arms 8.

As is clear from the foregoing, the corkscrew 1 according to the invention advantageously makes it possible to significantly reduce the number of steps necessary for uncorking a bottle compared to a corkscrew with a double lever of the state of the art described in the introductory part.

It also makes it possible to carry out the entire step of screwing the twist 3 into a cork without having to hold it at the same time as the bottle 7.

A screwing of the auger 3 in the cork over the entire stroke independently of any rotation of the lever arms 8 is also possible, which makes it possible to improve the handling of the corkscrew according to the invention compared to the corkscrews of the prior art.

The presence of the means for indicating the screwing depth of the auger 3 makes it possible to avoid any introduction of cork into the wine contained in the bottle during uncorking.

Furthermore, the corkscrew 1 according to the invention allows the extraction in a single step of corks of significant length (greater than 40 mm), and has a structure making it possible to ensure secure unscrewing of the twist 3 at the end of the handling.
