Description

The invention relates to a device for the renovation and profiling of damaged water-bound coverings, which can be mounted on a carrier vehicle.

Water-bound pavements generally consist of a mixture of natural stone material of different grain sizes, ranging from coarse gravel to fine sand or silt. This mixture means that water-bound road surfaces are permeable to water, so that soil sealing is avoided. Most of the time, such covers have a certain profile. In most cases, it is a roof profile where the water can drain into a moat on the left and right, or the whole way hangs to one side so that the water can drain to that side. By driving on the path with vehicles, the path material then migrates to the outside of the path, which is supported by precipitation. Over time, ruts form that prevent the water from running out, which instead runs along the ruts. As a result, the flow rate increases with a corresponding gradient, which further increases the removal of path material. This can go so far that the road cover can no longer be driven on with normal passenger cars.

Die US 3 693 722 A offenbart eine drehbare Walze mit Vorsprüngen, die nicht dazu geeignet sind, Wegematerial abzuschaben, sondern die obere Schicht aufzureißen.The US 3,693,722 discloses a rotatable roller with projections which are not suitable for scraping away path material, but for tearing open the top layer.

The sign placed behind it is not used for recompaction, but also for removing soil, as indicated in column 7, lines 41 to 46, of the publication.

The Scarifire too US 1 883 404 A breaks up the top hard layer of the path. There is no abrasion on the surface of the path here either. A loose layer forms, which lies on a base made of hard material (column 4, lines 24 to 35 of the printed publication). The torn layer cannot be compacted by the following sign.

The EP 1 645 690 A1 discloses a device for the rehabilitation and production of load-bearing surfaces, which has a vibrating roller which compresses the material torn open by a milling machine.

Even the machine of the US 2014/147207 A1 tears open the top layer of a path, the sign shown in FIG. 11, for example, not being suitable for compacting the detached material.

The WO 2008/031214 A1 discloses a roller with spiral cutting edges, behind which a smooth roller runs.

The present invention has for its object to provide a device with which damage (ruts formed) can be effectively remedied.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

The invention provides that the device has a roller which can be rotated in the opposite direction to the direction of travel of the carrier vehicle and on whose outer circumference driver projections are attached which scrape off path material when placed on a path cover. The driver projections are strips, which extend at least over part of the length of the roller, it being preferred that they run over the entire length.

The roller consists of a steel tube, which can have an outer diameter of approximately 350 mm, without the invention being restricted to this. 15 to 20, preferably 17 strips of wear steel can be welded continuously to the circumference of the steel tube, and a welding bead made of a wear-resistant welding wire can be drawn on the front edge of each strip. On the one hand, this protects the roller against wear and, on the other hand, the removal of path material is increased.

Alternatively, the strips can be screwed on, put on or clamped on and contain hard materials made of hard metal or diamond. The strips can also have a suitable profile.

The roller is driven by the carrier vehicle, which has a shaft output which is connected to the roller via a gear.

The roller, which rotates in the opposite direction to the direction of travel, scrapes off road material and pushes the material in front of it, which fills all cavities between the road surface and the roller, so that a level road surface is created again.

The invention further provides that the roller is mounted in a frame which is articulated via a linkage to a base plate which can be fastened to the carrier vehicle. It is preferred that the device is attached to the rear of a tractor, preferably to a lifting frame of the tractor. However, the device can also be mounted between the axles of a carrier vehicle or on its front, so that the device can also be combined with a truck, Unimog or similar vehicle.

The invention further provides that the frame in which the roller is mounted can be pivoted in both directions about a central vertical axis, so that the roller is arranged at an angle to the transverse direction of the path cover. In this way, the roller can preferably move in a horizontal plane by up to 35 °, preferably 29 °, in both Directions can be adjusted. This makes it possible to scrape off path material from one or the other edge region of the path cover and to lead it to the center of the path, which contributes to the fact that all cavities between the path cover and the roller can be filled over the entire width of the path cover.

In addition, the invention provides that the frame with the roller can be pivoted in both directions about a central horizontal axis, so that the roller is laterally inclined with respect to the horizontal. This lateral inclination can be up to an angle of 20 °, preferably 10 °, in both directions. This makes it possible to selectively remove material from the lateral edges and - preferably in combination with the above-mentioned lateral pivoting - to apply in the area of the middle of the path, whereby the path can obtain the desired profile, for example a roof-shaped profile.

To pivot the roller in the horizontal and / or vertical direction, essentially horizontal and vertical pairs of piston / cylinder units can be provided between the base plate and the at least one frame, which are arranged between the frame and the base plate. These are preferably two hydraulic cylinders for each of the three movements of the device, i.e. for the two swiveling movements mentioned above and a lifting movement described below.

In addition, the invention provides that a leveling device is connected to the frame behind the roller in the direction of travel such that the leveling device can be pivoted together with the frame in the horizontal and vertical planes. The leveling device can, however, preferably be raised and lowered hydraulically relative to the roller.

Die Planiereinrichtung ist bevorzugt ein Planierschild. Das Planierschild hat zweckmäßigerweise eine ebene Auflagefläche.The leveling device is preferably a dozer blade. The dozer blade expediently has a flat contact surface.

Without the leveling device, the roller would lie on the pavement with the entire weight of the device, which would have the disadvantage that too much material would be removed if the pavements were loose and that generally a very high one Drive torque of the roller would be required. This is avoided by the leveling device because it presses on the ground with a continuously adjustable pressure and thus reduces the weight with which the roller rests on the pavement. The continuously adjustable pressure can in turn be applied hydraulically. With this design, the removal capacity of the roller can be continuously adjusted via a hydraulic pressure control valve, the material distributed by the roller also being smoothed and recompacted by the dozer blade that is preferably provided.

The hydraulic adjustability of the leveling device also enables the scraping roller to be lifted off the floor and the entire weight of the device to act on the floor via the leveling device. This enables a clean, smooth path surface to be created. If the compression is too low, a plate compactor can be attached to the front of the carrier vehicle. In an alternative embodiment, the leveling device can be formed by a freely rotatable roller.

  • verwachsenes Feinmaterial vom Wegrand, das durch Wurzeln fast schon verfilzt ist, wird sauber aufgemischt und mit grobem Wegematerial sauber vermischt;
  • generell gute Vermischung des abgetragenen Materials und gute Einbettung von größeren Steinen in die Wegedecke;
  • durch den großen Durchmesser der Walze entsteht ein relativ flacher Einlaufwinkel, wodurch die Walze über größere Steine leicht hinweg gleiten kann, anstatt sie auszureißen;
  • größere Steine oder Felsköpfe, die in die Wegdecke hineinragen, werden beim Übergleiten der Walze immer etwas abgeschürft oder sie zerbröckeln. Dadurch wird der Weg natürlich immer feiner und störende Felsköpfe verschwinden mit der Zeit ganz von der Fahrbahnoberfläche;
  • da der Seitenwinkel und die Neigung nur am Beginn eingestellt werden müssen und sich die Höhe über die Schwimmstellung des Trägerfahrzeugs und die gleitende Walze regelt, kann relativ schnell und ohne nachzusteuern gefahren werden;
  • das nötige Drehmoment für den Betrieb der Maschine ist relativ gering, so kann die Maschine bereits mit 90 PS Traktoren betrieben werden;
  • da die Abtragsleistung der Maschine über mehrere Parameter wie dem Anpressdruck der Walze, Drehzahl Walze und der Fahrgeschwindigkeit von einer relativ kleinen bis hin zu einer großen Abtragleistung verstellt werden kann, ist es möglich, die Maschine bei vielen unterschiedlichen Wegezuständen wirtschaftlich einzusetzen;
If the device is not to be used, it can simply be lifted with the lifting frame of the carrier vehicle and brought into a central position in which the carrier vehicle can be driven normally on a road. The device according to the invention has many advantages:
  • overgrown fine material from the edge of the path, which is almost matted by roots, is mixed up cleanly and mixed with coarse path material;
  • generally good mixing of the removed material and good embedding of larger stones in the path cover;
  • the large diameter of the roller creates a relatively flat entry angle, which means that the roller can slide easily over larger stones instead of tearing them out;
  • Larger stones or rock heads that protrude into the path of the path are always rubbed off a little when the roller slides over, or they crumble. As a result, the path becomes ever finer and disruptive rock heads disappear completely from the road surface over time;
  • Since the side angle and the inclination only have to be set at the beginning and the height is regulated by the floating position of the carrier vehicle and the sliding roller, it can be driven relatively quickly and without having to readjust;
  • the torque required to operate the machine is relatively low, so the machine can already be operated with 90 HP tractors;
  • Since the stock removal rate of the machine can be adjusted from a relatively small to a large stock removal rate using several parameters such as the contact pressure of the roller, roller speed and the driving speed, it is possible to use the machine economically in many different path conditions;
  • As only one crossing per direction is sufficient if there is little damage to the path, the efficiency is high and fuel consumption is low.

Figure 3
a front view of the device, pivoted counterclockwise and clockwise;

How Figure 1 shows, the roller 1 contains a steel tube 2 with an outer diameter of 350 mm and a wall thickness of 8 mm. Seventeen driver strips 3 made of wear steel (Hardox 450) are welded onto the steel tube 2 by means of welds 4. A wear layer 5 made of application wire is welded onto the front edge region of the driver strips 3 in the direction of rotation, which increases the removal of the roller. A rim blade and the hub are identified by the reference numerals 6 and 7.

The large diameter of the roller brings with it a relatively shallow run-in angle on the path cover, as a result of which the roller 1 can easily slide over larger stones.

Figure 2 shows that a frame 8, in which the roller 1 is mounted, and a dozer blade 9 are articulated jointly via a support 10 to a base plate 11 by means of a joint 12. The base plate 11 is attached to the mast 13 of a carrier vehicle 14, such as Figure 6 shows. The frame 8 is connected via webs 15 to a central element 16 which can be pivoted together with the frame 8 and the dozer blade 9.

Two hydraulic piston / cylinder units 17 are articulated on the base plate 11, the other end of which is articulatedly connected to the frame 8, so that the frame 8 with the roller 1 and the dozer blade 9 together by actuating the piston / cylinder units 17 by up to 29 ° can be pivoted to the right and to the left. These swiveling movements take place in a horizontal plane.

Figure 3 shows that the roller 1 with its frame 8 can also be pivoted by 10 ° to both sides in a vertical plane, with the dozer blade 9 again being pivoted accordingly. The pivoting movement is brought about by two hydraulic piston / cylinder units 18 which are articulated at one end to the base plate 11 and at the other end to a frame part 19 connected to the frame 8. By actuating the piston / cylinder units 18, the roller 1 and the dozer blade 9 can be pivoted in a vertical plane at a selected angle of up to 10 °.

The Figures 4a to 4c show that the dozer blade 9 can be raised hydraulically over the contact surface of the roller 1 ( Figure 4a ), can rest together with the roller 1 on the path cover 20 ( Figure. 4b ) or can be pressed against the cover 20 when the roller 1 is raised.

Figure 5 shows the drive train of the roller 1, in which the torque of the PTO output of the carrier vehicle is transmitted to the device by means of a cardan shaft (with overload clutch). From there, the torque goes via a drive shaft 21 to an angular gear 22, from which the torque runs via two drive shafts 23 and is transmitted via a chain drive 24 to the drive hubs 25 of the roller 1.

Figure 6 shows that the device is attached with its base plate 11 to the rear mast 13 of a carrier vehicle 14. The device is pivoted laterally so that the roller 1 scrapes away path material from the lateral edge region of a path blanket and pushes it towards the center of the path, where all the cavities between the path cover and the roller 1 are filled.
