Definitions
- the invention relates to a disc railing, are held by means of which discs are clamped in their foot, so that can be dispensed with railing post.
- the DE 20 2010 016 187 U1 or the DE 20 2010 016 188 U1 discloses a comparable glass pane railing disclosed in which the present in the foot region of the glass U-shaped profile body only includes this foot area and does not reach into the mouth region of the U-profile. In the mouth area of the U-profile, the clamping of the glass pane takes place via spacers.
- the legs of the U-profile have in the mouth region in each case differently shaped projections.
- the U-profile is therefore regularly produced as an extruded profile and is usually made of aluminum or aluminum-containing alloys.
- the present invention seeks to provide an alternative disc railing, which can be dispensed with the use of wedge-shaped bodies and still allows the simplest possible and quick installation.
- the disc railing should be able to withstand great loads.
- the disc railing according to the invention has a dimensionally stable U-profile, between the two legs of the foot portion of a disc can be kept clamped, so that can be dispensed with railing post.
- the pane may in particular be the glass pane of a railing or facade construction.
- spacers are present, which are each arranged between the disc and one of the two legs of the U-profile.
- the disc is surrounded by a U-shaped profile body, which rests tightly against the disc.
- One of the two spacers in the mouth area of the U-profile is designed as a round rod.
- a separate spacer is provided, which rests on top of the U-profile present in the bottom region of the U-shaped profile body and is supported there.
- the round rod abuts in its maximum far in the U-profile einitzenden state on the spacer.
- the legs of the U-profile can be equipped with a smooth inner side, since no projections or other holding elements for the spacers are necessary. Therefore, the U-profile can be made of a steel plate, so that the corresponding disc railing can be designed for heavy loads. Alternatively, it would also be possible to produce the U-profile made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy by means of extrusion molding.
- the round bar may be present between the spacer and the leg of the U-profile or between the spacer and the disc pressed.
- the spacer can have, in its upper region facing the mouth region of the U-profile, a wall thickness which tapers towards the top.
- the upper portion of the spacer may have at least one projection. This projection protrudes in the direction of the gap which exists between the leg of the U-profile and the disc. At this projecting projection of the round rod can rest.
- the upper portion of the spacer to which the round rod can be press-fitted may have a plurality of projections spaced from one another.
- a lower projection in each case protrude further into the interior of the U-profile transversely to the disk plane with respect to an upper projection.
- a round rod can be placed at different depths in the gap, whereby an alignment of the disc in the U-profile is possible.
- the surface of this region can each be concave and thus adapted to the outer contour of the round rod.
- each round body should be arranged with the smallest radius at the bottom.
- the spacer may, in a particularly preferred embodiment, comprise a resilient lip element which projects from the spacer.
- the lip element can ensure that the Spacer securely seated in the space between the disc and one of the two legs of the U-profile. At the same time, an orientation of the inclination of the disc within the U-profile is still possible.
- Such a round rod can be present on both sides of the disc.
- the disc can be held pressed on its one side by a round rod and on its other side by a spacer body between the two legs of the U-profile.
- the assembly can be particularly easily done by first the spacer is positioned between the one leg of the U-profile and the disc. Subsequently, the rod can be placed in the mouth area between the other leg and the disc. Now, if the disc pressed something against the spacer, the rod can slip by itself so far down in the U-profile or fall until the disc is held clamped.
- the U-profile can reversibly bend up a bit.
- the round rod can also be pressed with a suitable tool from the top of the round rod until it has reached its intended position. This is the case in the first embodiment when the round rod rests on top of the spacer.
- the intended position is achieved when the round rod abuts correctly on the spacer, in particular when the correct projection is reached.
- the spacer body may be attached to the inside of the leg of the U-profile via an adhesive layer. In this case, no further adjustment of the U-profile would be required.
- the spacer could also consist only of a relatively thin coating of a plastic material that could be attached to a thickening of the leg of the U-profile.
- the coating could prevent the disc from scratching as there is no direct metal-to-glass contact.
- a secure and fixed position positioning of the spacer body would be possible by the thickening of the leg of the U-profile.
- the spacer body can be suspended in a groove on the inside of the leg of the U-profile.
- the spacer body could have a corresponding spring which can be inserted or inserted into the groove of the U-profile in order to fix the spacer body in a positionally secure manner to the leg of the U-profile.
- the groove of the U-profile would not have to be completely filled by the spring of the spacer, but it may be sufficient to form the spring slightly shorter than the groove.
- the spring could be at least partially formed slightly wider than the groove, so that the spring would have to be compressed in order to be inserted into the groove can. To facilitate such compression of the spring, the spring could have an approximately horizontal slot, whereby the spring would spread easily within the groove.
- Both spacers and rod and spacers need not be present over the entire length of the U-profile. Rather, it may be sufficient to provide spacers or round rod and spacers only in sections. It would also be possible to design, for example, the spacer body continuously, while the spacer or the round rod is present only at certain intervals.
- the spacer may optionally also be integrally connected to the U-shaped profile body.
- the U-shaped profile body in the bottom region of the U-profile could also be realized by an elastic or partially elastic potting compound, which is poured into the U-profile and cured there.
- a glass sheet railing 10 is with its foot portion in cross-section fragmentary in Fig. 1 shown.
- the glass sheet 18, which in the present example consists of two disks 14, 16 glued together firmly via an adhesive layer 12, is held clamped by its foot region 20 in a U-profile 22.
- the U-profile 22 in the present example is made of steel and has been bent over corresponding steel plate produced.
- the right and left legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22 protrude to form a respective fillet at right angles from a bottom 28 of the U-profile 22 forming web upwards.
- 22 holes can be provided in the bottom 28 of the U-profile, so that an attachment via a plurality of screws is possible.
- the U-profile 22 could have a with the bottom 28 of the U-profile 22 aligned mounting web.
- the attachment bar could be screwed by means of several holes on the building.
- Such a fastening web could on both sides and on both sides of the legs 24, 26 of the U-section 22 respectively cantilevered outside.
- a bend could be present on one of the two legs as shown in FIG Fig. 3 is shown.
- the two legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22 may be different lengths.
- the inner, right leg 24 could be lower than the outer, left leg 26, in particular for optical reasons.
- the glass pane 18 is held clamped with its foot 20. To this end, the glass pane 18 is enclosed tightly in its lower edge region by a U-shaped profile body 40, which is integral in the present exemplary case.
- This U-shaped profile body 40 has a bottom 42 with two upwardly projecting walls 44, 46.
- the bottom 42 has a pitched roof-shaped shape (please refer Fig. 2 ).
- the lower wall portions of the two walls 44, 46 press outwardly against the two legs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22. In this way, a play-free contact of the foot portion 20 of the glass pane 18th in the bottom region of the U-profile 22 possible.
- the U-shaped profile body 40 could also be designed in several parts.
- the floor and the two walls could each be designed as separate components. It would also be possible to form the floor with one of the two walls together as a component and to provide the second wall as a separate component.
- the walls 44, 46 of the U-shaped profile body 40 can be compared to the two legs 24, 26 of the U-section 22 comparatively short be formed. In contrast to the embodiment illustrated here, however, the walls 44, 46 of the U-shaped profile body 40 could also protrude almost into the mouth region of the U-profile 22.
- the U-shaped profile body 40 is made of a lightweight plastic material which has sufficient compressive strength. The weight of the glass pane 18 is only slightly larger by the pushed onto it U-shaped profile body 40.
- the spacer 60 Between the right leg 24 of the U-section 22 and the glass pane 18 is a spacer 60, which is supported on the right wall 44 of the U-shaped profile body 40 in terms of load.
- the spacer 60 has a constant wall thickness 62, which is slightly smaller than the width 64 of the interspace 66 between the leg 24 of the U-profile 22 and the glass pane 18. As a result, the spacer 60 can be easily inserted into the interspace 66.
- a round rod 68 ensures the clamping of the glass sheet 18 in the mouth region of the U-profile 22.
- the round rod 68 is located approximately at the height of the spacer body 50.
- the round rod 68 rests on top of the spacer 60.
- the spacer 60 ensures the necessary distance between the clamping of the glass pane 18 in the bottom region of the U-profile 22 and in the mouth region of the U-profile 22.
- the U-shaped profile body 40 When mounting the glass sheet railing 10, the U-shaped profile body 40 is first inserted into the U-section 22 from above and the spacer body 50 is attached to the outer leg 26. In the U-shaped profile body 40, the glass sheet 18 is optionally inserted slightly obliquely from above. Subsequently, the spacer 60 is inserted into the intermediate space 66 between the inner leg 24 and the glass pane 18. Then the round rod 68 can be placed loosely in the mouth region of the U-profile. The glass pane 18 can now be pressed slightly against the spacer body 50. In this case, the round rod 68 slips or falls on the spacer 60. Optionally, the round rod 68 can be inserted deeper into the intermediate space 66 with a suitable tool. In the last step, a cover profile, not shown here, can be mounted in the mouth region of the two limbs 24, 26 of the U-profile 22 in order to provide a visually appealing finish.
- FIG. 3 An alternative embodiment of the glass sheet railing 10.3 is with its foot portion in cross-section fragmentary in Fig. 3 shown.
- the glass pane 18 is seated clamped with its foot region 20 in a U-profile 22.3.
- the U-section 22.3 is like the U-section 22 made of steel and can also be made by bending a corresponding plate.
- the right and left legs 24.3, 26 of the U-section 22.3 protrude to form a respective fillet at right angles from the web 28 of the U-profile 22.3 forming web upwards.
- a 180-degree bend 30 is present.
- the U-profile 22.3 can be suspended in a corresponding fastening profile from above, so that attachment to a building or to a building connection element is possible.
- the bend 30 can be dispensed with.
- the glass pane 18 is held clamped with its foot 20.
- the glass sheet 18 is enclosed in its lower edge region of the U-shaped profile body 40 tight fitting.
- the spacer body 52 Between the left leg 26 of the U-section 22.3 and the glass pane 18 is a spacer body 52.
- the spacer body 52 rests on the wall 46 of the U-shaped profile body 40 and is supported so loadlast.
- the spacer body 52 has in the present example, an approximately C-shaped configuration, so that the spacer body 52 can be inserted during assembly without much effort in the existing between the glass 18 and the leg 26 of the U-section 22.3 gap.
- the vertical web 54 of the spacer body 52 is located on the inside of the leg 26 of the U-profile 22.3, while the existing at the upper and lower end of the web 54 Kragstummel 56, 58 abut against the glass pane 18.

- the upper portion 78 of the spacer 70 terminates in a lip member 84 which is slightly resilient. As long as the spacer 70 has not yet been placed in the gap 66, the lip element 84 is slightly inclined (see Fig. 4 ). When inserting the spacer 70 in the gap 66, the lip member 84 is pressed in the direction of the leg 74 of the spacer 70, so that the width of the spacer 70 is slightly reduced. The spacer 70 spreads as far as possible after insertion, so that the lip member 84 presses against the inside of the leg 24.3 of the U-section 22.3, while the Kragstummel 76 of the spacer 70 is pressed against the glass 18. The spacer 70 thereby sits securely in the intermediate space 66, so that a simple and rapid positioning of the round rod 68 and thus a fixation of the glass pane 18 can take place.
- the surface of the upper region 78 of the spacer 70 could also be grooved or serrated.
- the round rod 68 could also have a corrugated or serrated surface.
- the collar stub 76 of the spacer 70 could also be dispensed with.
- the U-shaped profile body 40 When mounting the glass sheet railing 10.3, the U-shaped profile body 40 is first inserted into the U-section 22.3 from above and the spacer body 52 is placed on the wall 46 of the U-shaped profile body 40. In the U-shaped profile body 40, the glass sheet 18 is optionally inserted slightly obliquely from above. Thereafter, the spacer 70 is inserted into the space 66 between the inner leg 24.3 and the glass sheet 18. Then the round rod 68 can be placed loosely in the mouth region of the U-profile. The glass pane 18 can now be pressed slightly against the spacer body 52. In this case, the round rod 68 slips or falls at least a little way between the legs 24.3 and the upper portion 78 of the spacer 70.
- the round rod 68 with a suitable tool deeper into between the legs 24.3 and the spacer 70 existing gap are inserted. This could also be achieved by increased pressure on the disc 18.
- a cover profile not shown here, can be mounted in the mouth region of the two limbs 24.3, 26 of the U-profile 22.3 in order to provide a visually appealing finish.
- a third embodiment of the glass sheet railing 10.5 is fragmentary with its foot portion in cross-section Fig. 5 shown.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide an alternative disc railing, which can be dispensed with the use of wedge-shaped bodies and still allows the simplest possible and quick installation. In addition, the disc railing should be able to withstand great loads.
The disc railing according to the invention is given by the features of the main claim. Useful developments of the invention are the subject of further claims appending to the main claim.
The disc railing according to the invention has a dimensionally stable U-profile, between the two legs of the foot portion of a disc can be kept clamped, so that can be dispensed with railing post. The pane may in particular be the glass pane of a railing or facade construction. In the mouth region of the U-profile spacers are present, which are each arranged between the disc and one of the two legs of the U-profile. In the bottom region of the U-profile, the disc is surrounded by a U-shaped profile body, which rests tightly against the disc. One of the two spacers in the mouth area of the U-profile is designed as a round rod. According to the invention, a separate spacer is provided, which rests on top of the U-profile present in the bottom region of the U-shaped profile body and is supported there. The round rod abuts in its maximum far in the U-profile einitzenden state on the spacer.
In this way, can be dispensed with the use of wedges for fastening the disc in the U-profile. At the same time, the legs of the U-profile can be equipped with a smooth inner side, since no projections or other holding elements for the spacers are necessary. Therefore, the U-profile can be made of a steel plate, so that the corresponding disc railing can be designed for heavy loads. Alternatively, it would also be possible to produce the U-profile made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy by means of extrusion molding.
In a structurally particularly simple embodiment, the round rod rests on top of the spacer. The spacer may be formed in this case with approximately constant wall thickness, which is preferably slightly smaller than the distance of the disc to the corresponding leg of the U-profile. In this way, the spacer can be introduced without much difficulty in the interior of the U-profile. Alternatively, the spacer may be approximately T-shaped or approximately double T-shaped. By varying the diameter of the introduced round rod, the inclination of the disc can be adjusted in the U-profile.
In a preferred embodiment, the round bar may be present between the spacer and the leg of the U-profile or between the spacer and the disc pressed. For this purpose, the spacer can have, in its upper region facing the mouth region of the U-profile, a wall thickness which tapers towards the top. As a result, an orientation of the inclination of the disc within the U-profile is possible, since the thickness of the spacer body element of round rod and spacer dependent changes from the position of the round bar. Such an adaptation of the inclination may be advantageous in order to be able to compensate for irregularities in the subsurface.
Preferably, the upper portion of the spacer may have at least one projection. This projection protrudes in the direction of the gap which exists between the leg of the U-profile and the disc. At this projecting projection of the round rod can rest.
The upper portion of the spacer to which the round rod can be press-fitted may have a plurality of projections spaced from one another. In this case, a lower projection in each case protrude further into the interior of the U-profile transversely to the disk plane with respect to an upper projection. In this way, a round rod can be placed at different depths in the gap, whereby an alignment of the disc in the U-profile is possible. Between two adjacent projections, the surface of this region can each be concave and thus adapted to the outer contour of the round rod.
It would also be possible to place on the different projections each round body with different radii, the round body should be arranged with the smallest radius at the bottom.
In order to allow a uniform possible storage of the disc, each round body along its longitudinal axis should have the same maximum width cross-sections. Such a round body should be used with its longitudinal axis approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the U-profile in the same.
The spacer may, in a particularly preferred embodiment, comprise a resilient lip element which projects from the spacer. The lip element can ensure that the Spacer securely seated in the space between the disc and one of the two legs of the U-profile. At the same time, an orientation of the inclination of the disc within the U-profile is still possible.
Such a round rod can be present on both sides of the disc. In a preferred embodiment, the disc can be held pressed on its one side by a round rod and on its other side by a spacer body between the two legs of the U-profile. In this way, the assembly can be particularly easily done by first the spacer is positioned between the one leg of the U-profile and the disc. Subsequently, the rod can be placed in the mouth area between the other leg and the disc. Now, if the disc pressed something against the spacer, the rod can slip by itself so far down in the U-profile or fall until the disc is held clamped. The U-profile can reversibly bend up a bit. If necessary, can also be pressed with a suitable tool from the top of the round rod until it has reached its intended position. This is the case in the first embodiment when the round rod rests on top of the spacer. In the second embodiment, the intended position is achieved when the round rod abuts correctly on the spacer, in particular when the correct projection is reached. By existing on the spacer projections of the round rod can only slip up to a predetermined point in the U-profile, so that too deep sitting or falling of the round rod can be prevented.
In a particularly simple embodiment, the spacer body may be attached to the inside of the leg of the U-profile via an adhesive layer. In this case, no further adjustment of the U-profile would be required.
The spacer could also consist only of a relatively thin coating of a plastic material that could be attached to a thickening of the leg of the U-profile. The coating could prevent the disc from scratching as there is no direct metal-to-glass contact. At the same time a secure and fixed position positioning of the spacer body would be possible by the thickening of the leg of the U-profile.
Alternatively or additionally, the spacer body can be suspended in a groove on the inside of the leg of the U-profile. In this case, the spacer body could have a corresponding spring which can be inserted or inserted into the groove of the U-profile in order to fix the spacer body in a positionally secure manner to the leg of the U-profile. The groove of the U-profile would not have to be completely filled by the spring of the spacer, but it may be sufficient to form the spring slightly shorter than the groove. Alternatively or additionally, the spring could be at least partially formed slightly wider than the groove, so that the spring would have to be compressed in order to be inserted into the groove can. To facilitate such compression of the spring, the spring could have an approximately horizontal slot, whereby the spring would spread easily within the groove.
Alternatively or in addition to this, the spacer body can be supported in the load-bearing manner on the U-shaped profile body present in the base region of the U-profile. This can be realized in that the profile body is present in one piece with the spacer body. Preferably, the spacer body may be present separately from the profile body and extend so deep into the U-profile that it rests on one of the walls of the profile body. In order to facilitate the introduction of the spacer in the space between the legs of the U-profile and disc, the spacer body may be formed in particular C-shaped.
Both spacers and rod and spacers need not be present over the entire length of the U-profile. Rather, it may be sufficient to provide spacers or round rod and spacers only in sections. It would also be possible to design, for example, the spacer body continuously, while the spacer or the round rod is present only at certain intervals.
The spacer may optionally also be integrally connected to the U-shaped profile body.
The U-shaped profile body in the bottom region of the U-profile could also be realized by an elastic or partially elastic potting compound, which is poured into the U-profile and cured there.

The right and left legs 24.5, 26.5 of the U-profile 22.5 protrude to form a respective fillet at right angles from the bottom 28.5 of the U-profile 22.5 forming web upwards. At the upper end of the right leg 24.5 there is a 180 degree bend 30.5. With this bend 30.5, the U-profile 22.5 can be hung in a corresponding mounting profile from above, so that attachment to a building or to a building connection element is possible. In contrast to the embodiment shown here, other mounting options of the U-section 22.5 on a building are possible in which can be dispensed with the bend 30.5.
In the U-profile 22.5, the
Between the left leg 26.5 of the U-section 22.5 and the
In contrast to the embodiment shown here, the U-shaped profile body 40.5 and the
Between the right leg 24.5 of the U-section 22.5 and the

The right and left legs 24.6, 26.6 of the U-profile 22.6 protrude to form a respective fillet at right angles from a web 28.6 of the U-profile 22.6 forming web upwards. In order to fasten the U-profile 22.6 to a building or a construction connection element, boreholes can be provided in the floor 28.6 of the U-profile 22.6 so that fastening by means of several screws is possible.

The wedge-shaped
In contrast to the embodiment shown here, the surface of the wedge-shaped
