Description

Technisches GebietTechnical area

The invention relates to a gripper for gripping a bobbin or bobbin tube according to the independent claim, a doffer device and a spinning machine.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

In a large number of spinning machines, in particular ring spinning machines, a large number of already wound bobbins or cops are removed together at the spinning positions of the spinning machine during a bobbin change process and replaced by empty bobbin tubes. For this purpose, the spinning machines have a doffer device with a doffer bar, which is arranged on the spinning machine so as to be movable, for example via a scissor mechanism. A plurality of grippers or doffer grippers are in turn arranged on the doffer bar in order to be able to jointly grip and remove or attach the bobbins or the empty bobbin tubes. The individual grippers can preferably be operated pneumatically and contain a clamping element in the form of a membrane that can be acted upon by compressed air, which is brought over the coil or bobbin case and then grips the bobbin or bobbin case by introducing compressed air. In order to apply compressed air to the individual grippers, ducts supplying compressed air are arranged in the doffer beam, from which the compressed air is conducted via feed lines to the individual diaphragms of the grippers.

The CN 2,873,813 Y describes a correspondingly designed gripper. The gripper has a cylindrical holding element for receiving a bobbin or bobbin tube. A clamping element in the form of a rubber membrane, which can be adjusted by a pneumatic device, is arranged on the inner wall of the holding element. With the membrane it is possible to grasp the end region of the coil or coil sleeve inserted into the interior of the holding element from the outside. The membrane is arranged over two closure caps, which are each arranged on the bottom and top of the holding element are fixed in the direction of a longitudinal axis on the holding element. The two closure caps are clipped onto the holding element via a snap connection. The gripper comprises a fastening element for fastening to a doffer beam. The fastening element is firmly connected to the holding element and contains an air channel for the supply of compressed air to the membrane. The fastening element has a hook on its upper side and an elastic retaining tab on its lower side. The gripper is fixed to a receptacle via the hook and in a locking groove on the doffer bar via the elastic retaining tab. A gripper with a similar structure is shown in FIG EP 0 303 877 A1 shown. In contrast to the gripper described above, the fastening element of the gripper has an elastic retaining tab on its underside and on its upper side. The gripper can be disengaged and detachably attached in two parallel locking grooves on the doffer bar via the two elastic retaining tabs. The locking grooves enable a plurality of individual grippers to be attached along the doffer beam.

FR1364639 , DE4128216 , CN200992611 also disclose grippers of a textile machine for gripping a bobbin or bobbin tube.

Fig. 1 shows a gripper 1 belonging to the prior art. The gripper 1 is made of plastic and has a cylindrical holding element 2 for a bobbin or bobbin case 3 ( Fig. 2 ). The cylindrical holding element 2 has an inner wall 4 on which a pneumatically adjustable clamping element 5 in the form of a membrane made of rubber is arranged. With the membrane 5 it is possible to detect the end region of the coil or coil sleeve 3 introduced into the interior of the holding element 2 from the outside. The adjustment of the membrane 5 takes place in the direction of the double arrow 6 via a pneumatic device. The membrane 5 is fixed on the holding element 2 in the direction of a longitudinal axis 10 via two closure caps 7 or clamps, which are each arranged on the bottom 8 and top 9 of the holding element 2. The two closure caps 7 are clipped onto the holding element 2 via a snap connection.

To attach the gripper 1 to an in Fig.1 and Fig.2 Doffer bar, not shown, the gripper 1 comprises a fastening element 11. The fastening element 11 is firmly connected to the holding element 2 and contains an air duct 12 for supplying compressed air to the membrane 5. The air duct 12 is connected to a compressed air line which extends longitudinally on the doffer bar . The air duct 12 is sealed off from the doffer bar by a first sealing element 13 arranged on the fastening element 11. The fastening element 11 also has a second sealing element 14 which seals the gripper 1 against a compressed air signal line which also extends in the longitudinal direction on the doffer beam. Two elastic retaining tabs 15 are arranged on the fastening element 11. The elastic retaining tabs 15 are connected with their first end 16 to the fastening element 11. With its second free end 17, the gripper 1 can be disengaged and releasably attached to the doffer bar. The holding or clamping effect of the holding tabs 15 is increased or supported by a steel spring 18 embedded in the fastening element 11 below the holding tabs 15.

When changing a bobbin or bobbin case 3, the membrane 5 is acted upon by compressed air via the air duct 12. The membrane 5 is thereby detached from the inner wall 4 of the holding element 2 and grasps the coil or bobbin case 3 at its outer end area. The bobbin or bobbin tube 3 can then be transferred to a transport device or spindle (not shown). In order to release the bobbin or bobbin case 3 in the holding element 2 again, the diaphragm 5 is relieved by removing the compressed air. Due to the alternating loading and unloading of the diaphragm 5 in the holding element 2, and the friction of the diaphragm 5 on the coil or bobbin case 3, the diaphragm 5 is worn out after a certain period of operation. The wear is shown by the fact that the membrane 5 is porous and has leaks. As a result, a safe exchange of the bobbin or bobbin case 3 is no longer guaranteed. It is therefore necessary to replace the worn membrane 5 with a new membrane 5 after a certain period of operation.

A major disadvantage of the in Fig.1 and Fig.2 shown gripper 1 consists in the fact that the replacement of a worn membrane 5 for a new membrane 5 designed as very elaborate. In order to replace a membrane 5, the gripper 1 must first be removed from the doffer bar by the operating personnel. For this purpose, the elastic retaining tabs 15 are notched. The worn membrane 5 can then be separated from the holding element 2 by loosening the closure caps 7 and exchanged for a new membrane 5. The new membrane 5 is then fixed again in the axial direction on the holding element 2 by the closure caps 7 and the gripper 1 is clipped onto the doffer bar via the elastic holding tabs 15. Due to the structure of the gripper 1, the replacement of a worn membrane 5 is therefore very complex, since the entire gripper 1 has to be removed from the doffer beam. An exchange of the membrane 5 is associated with long downtimes of the spinning machine. In addition, the frequent assembly and dismantling of the gripper 1 on the doffer beam leads to unnecessary wear of the elastic retaining tabs 15. As a result, a sufficient clamping effect of the elastic retaining tabs 15 on the doffer beam is no longer ensured.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The invention now has the task of eliminating this disadvantage of the known gripper.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the holding element is held on the fastening element via a securing element. The retaining element is secured to the fastening element transversely to its longitudinal axis via the securing element. In contrast to the gripper from the prior art, the fastening element and the holding element are separate from one another, ie the fastening element and the holding element represent two separate components. The gripper no longer has to be removed from the doffer bar to replace the clamping element. Rather, it is possible to leave the gripper on the doffer beam and to remove the holding element with the clamping element from the fastening element by loosening the securing element. The worn clamping element can then simply be exchanged for a new clamping element. The downtime of the spinning machine while a clamping element is being replaced is kept short. In addition, a prevents unnecessary wear of the elastic retaining tabs on the fastening element. A sufficient clamping effect of the elastic retaining tabs on the doffer beam is guaranteed.

Furthermore, it has proven to be advantageous according to the invention if the securing element partially surrounds the outer wall of the holding element or rests partially on the outer wall of the holding element. This ensures that the holding element is adequately held or positioned on the fastening element. In addition to the fastening element, the securing element represents a part of the housing of the gripper. The securing element advantageously encloses the outer wall of the holding element between 180 ° -270 °.

According to the invention, the securing element is connected to the fastening element via a snap connection. As a result, the securing element can be easily separated from the fastening element and thus the holding element with the clamping element can be quickly removed from the fastening element. The snap connection is designed in such a way that the fastening element has elevations and the securing element has depressions which enclose the elevations. Conversely, however, it is also possible for the securing element to have elevations and the fastening element to have depressions which enclose the elevations.

According to the invention, the clamping element is fixed over a first portion of its circumference via the fastening element and over a second portion of its circumference via the securing element at least at one of its ends in the direction of the longitudinal axis on the holding element. It is also advantageous if the clamping element or the membrane at its two ends, ie at the lower and upper end of the holding element, over a first portion of its circumference over the fastening element and over a second portion of its circumference over the securing element in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the holding element is fixed on the holding element. In contrast to the prior art, this means that the two closure caps for axially fixing the clamping element on the holding element are omitted. In order to achieve sufficient axial fixation of the clamping element on the holding element, it has also proven to be advantageous proven when the clamping element is fixed over 180 ° of the circumference of the clamping element via the fastening element and over 180 ° of the circumference of the clamping element via the securing element on the holding element.

For better sealing of the clamping element with respect to the holding element, it is also advantageous if a sealing ring is arranged at least at one end of the holding element between the clamping element and the fastening element. The sealing ring is arranged either at the lower or at the upper end of the holding element or at the lower and the upper end of the holding element. The sealing ring rests with a first end face on the fastening element and presses the clamping element against the holding element with a second end face. It is also possible for the outer circumference of the sealing ring to lie against the fastening element and for its inner circumference to press the clamping element against the holding element.

It has also proven to be advantageous if rounded elevations are arranged on the inner wall of the holding element, which elevations extend over a length of the holding element. The length of the holding element represents the dimensions of the holding element in its longitudinal direction. The rounded elevations ensure that the clamping element does not adhere to the inner wall of the holding element. A safe exchange of the coil or the bobbin case is guaranteed. The elevations are advantageously designed to be semicircular.

It is also advantageous if at least one rib is arranged on the outer wall of the holding element over at least part of the circumference of the holding element. The rib serves as a support surface for the securing element and ensures that the holding element is sufficiently held or positioned on the fastening element via the securing element. The rib is advantageously arranged to run in the circumferential direction on the holding element. The rib encloses the holding element completely or part of the circumference of the holding element, preferably between 90 ° -270 °. However, the rib can also be arranged on the holding element running in the longitudinal direction. In this case, several ribs spaced apart from one another can be arranged on the holding element.

In addition, it is advantageous if the air duct is connected in one piece to the holding element and the fastening element has a receptacle for the air duct. The term "one-piece" means that the air duct is firmly integrated into the holding element, i.e. the air duct cannot be separated from the holding element. This has the advantage that the holding element and the air duct can be manufactured in the form of a single injection-molded part. The retaining element is loosely connected to the receptacle of the fastening element via the air duct, i.e. the retaining element can be inserted into the receptacle via the air duct. For this purpose, the receptacle has a slightly smaller dimension than the air duct. The receptacle extends completely or partially over the length of the air duct.

It has also proven to be advantageous here if the air duct has at least one annular shoulder on an outer surface which forms a sealing point between the air duct and the fastening element. The shoulder extends over a length of 2-10 mm of the air duct and is made of an elastic plastic. The shoulder is integrally connected to the air duct. If compressed air is applied to the clamping element, the air duct expands in the radial direction in the receptacle. The shoulder is pressed against the fastening element and seals the air duct from the receptacle.

Finally, it is advantageous if an additional sealing element is arranged in the receptacle between the fastening element and the air duct. The sealing element seals the air duct from the fastening element and the doffer beam. The sealing element is advantageously designed as a sleeve made of rubber and extends partially over the length of the air duct. For better sealing, the sealing element has two spaced-apart ribs running in the circumferential direction on its outer surface.

Wege zur Ausführung der ErfindungWays of Carrying Out the Invention

Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of a gripper 1 according to the invention. The gripper 1 is made of plastic and has a cylindrical holding element 2 for a bobbin or bobbin case 3 ( Fig. 4 ). The holding element 2 has an inner wall 4 on which a pneumatically adjustable clamping element 5 in the form of a membrane made of rubber is arranged. With the membrane 5 it is possible to detect the end region of the coil or coil sleeve 3 introduced into the interior of the holding element 2 from the outside. The adjustment of the membrane 5 takes place in the direction of the double arrow 6 via a pneumatic device. To attach the gripper 1 to a doffer beam (not shown), the gripper 1 comprises a fastening element 11. Two elastic retaining tabs 15 are arranged on the fastening element 11, and their first end 16 is connected to the fastening element 11. With its second free end 17, the gripper 1 can be disengaged and releasably attached to the doffer beam. The holding or clamping effect of the holding tabs 15 is increased or supported by a steel spring 18 embedded in the fastening element 11 below the holding tabs 15.

In contrast to the known gripper 1 from FIGS. 1 and 2 the holding element 2 is held on the fastening element 11 via a securing element 19. The security element 19 encloses 180 ° of the outer wall 20 of the holding element 2, or rests over 180 ° on the outer wall 20 of the holding element 2 ( Fig. 5 ). The securing element 19 thus represents a part of the housing of the gripper 1 in addition to the fastening element 11. The retaining element 2 is secured to the fastening element 11 transversely to its longitudinal axis 10 via the securing element 19. On the outer wall 20 of the holding element 2, a rib 21 is arranged over the entire circumference of the holding element 2. The rib 21 serves as a support surface for the securing element 19 and ensures that the holding element 2 is sufficiently held or positioned on the fastening element 11 via the securing element 19. How out Fig. 5 is apparent, the securing element 19 is detachably connected to the fastening element 11 via a snap connection. The snap connection is designed in such a way that the fastening element 11 has elevations 22 and the securing element 19 has tabs 23 with recesses 24 which enclose the elevations 22 or in which the elevations 22 snap.

The membrane 5 is both at a lower end 8 and at an upper end 9 of the holding element 2 over 180 ° of the circumference of the membrane 5 over the fastening element 11 and over 180 ° of the circumference of the membrane 5 over the securing element 19 in the axial direction on the holding element 2 fixed. In contrast to the prior art, the two closure caps 7 or clamps for axially fixing the membrane 5 on the holding element 2 are omitted. For better sealing of the membrane 5 with respect to the holding element 2, there is between the lower end 8 and the upper end 9 of the holding element 2 the membrane 5 and the fastening element 11 and the securing element 19, a sealing ring 25 is arranged. The sealing ring 25 rests with a first end face 26 on the fastening element 11 and on the securing element 19 and with a second end face 27 presses the membrane 5 against the lower end 8 or the upper end 9 of the holding element 2. The holding element 2 is on its inner wall 4 provided with semicircular elevations 28, which extend over the length of the holding element 2 ( Fig. 5 ).

The holding element 2 is also provided with an air duct 12. The air duct 12 is firmly connected to the outer wall 20 of the holding element 2, ie the holding element 2 and the air duct 12 are integrally formed. The air duct 12 has an annular shoulder 31 on its outer surface 30. The shoulder 31 extends over a length 32 of 8 mm of the air duct 12 and is made of an elastic plastic. The shoulder 31 is connected in one piece to the air duct 12. The fastening element 11 has a receptacle 33 for the air duct 12. The receptacle 33 is cylindrical and extends over the length of the air duct 12. The holding element 2 is loosely connected to the fastening element 11 via the shoulder 31 of the air duct 12. If compressed air is applied to the membrane 5, the air duct 12 expands in the radial direction in the receptacle 33. As a result, the shoulder 31 is pressed against the fastening element 11 and seals the air duct 12 from the fastening element 11.

An additional sealing element 13 is arranged between the fastening element 11 and the air duct 12. The air duct 12 is connected via the sealing element 13 to a compressed air line which extends in the longitudinal direction on the doffer beam. The sealing element 13 is designed as a sleeve made of rubber. The sealing element 13 rests with a first end 35 on the annular shoulder 31 of the air duct 12. With a second end 36, the sealing element 13 seals the air duct 12 from the compressed air line on the doffer beam. For better sealing, the sealing element 13 has two spaced apart ribs 37 on its circumference. A further sealing element 14 is also arranged on the fastening element 11, which seals the gripper 1 against a compressed air signal line which also extends in the longitudinal direction on the doffer beam. The sealing element 14 also has two spaced apart ribs 37 on its circumference for better sealing.

In contrast to the known gripper, the gripper 1 according to the invention no longer has to be removed as a whole from the doffer beam in order to replace a membrane 5. Rather, it is possible to leave the gripper 1 on the doffer beam and to remove the holding element 2 from the fastening element 11. For this purpose, the securing element 19 is released from the fastening element 11. The holding element 2 can then be separated from the fastening element 11 and the worn membrane 5 can be exchanged for a new membrane 5. The downtime of the spinning machine during the replacement of a membrane 5 is thereby kept low. In addition, unnecessary wear of the elastic retaining tabs 15 on the fastening element 11 is prevented, since only the retaining element 2 has to be removed from the gripper 1. A sufficient clamping effect of the elastic retaining tabs 15 on the doffer beam is guaranteed.
