  • On déploie la couverture sur un sol propre avec le côté des ourlets soudés face au ciel, de sorte qu'ils soient apparents.
  • On prépare les éléments d'extrémité 32, chacun comportant un taquet carré 34 et une vis 33.
  • On fait coulisser par l'intermédiaire du taquet 34 les éléments d'extrémité dans une rainure latérale du profilé des longerons de grande longueur. On serre légèrement les vis 33 sans les bloquer, pour éviter de casser les éléments 32 d'extrémité.
  • On enfile les longerons 2 de chaque côté de la couverture. Une fois en place, ils sont à égale distance de chaque extrémité du profilé. On vérifie avant qu'il n'y ait aucune bavure au départ de la gorge du profilé ou que la gorge ne soit pas écrasée, sinon la redresser à l'aide d'un tournevis. Afin de faciliter le glissement de la couverture dans la rainure, on passe un peu de savon sur les joncs.
  • On emboîte les embouts 31 adaptateur sur l'extrémité des tubes tendeurs.
  • On passe les vis 37 avec écrou 38 dans les bouchons ou éléments 32 d'extrémité de chaque tube.
  • On monte un tube tendeur au milieu du toit emboîté en premier côté vis dans le logement 42 hexagonal de l'élément d'extrémité et on procède de même pour les autres tubes tendeurs. On tend ensuite légèrement la couverture en largeur à l'aide des vis de ces tendeurs de façon à permettre encore le glissement de la couverture dans la rainure.
  • On enfile les deux traverses d'extrémité en vérifiant que la partie galbée soit montée côté extérieur du toit.
  • On prépare quatre équerres avec un seul taquet fixé dessus à l'aide des deux vis CHC.
  • On vérifie le bon sens de montage de l'équerre, la grande distance A devant être du côté supérieur, de manière qu'une fois montée l'équerre ne frotte contre la couverture. Ces équerres doivent être enfilées sur les grands profilés.
  • On enfile le deuxième taquet de l'équerre dans une rainure du profilé.
  • On tire l'équerre contre le profilé en vérifiant que le taquet s'encastre bien entre les centreurs de l'équerre. On monte les deux dernières vis sur l'équerre.
  • On plaque à l'aide des vis les équerres contre les faces de profilés, notamment en aluminium, sans les serrer. Le glissement de l'équerre par rapport aux profilés en aluminium est nécessaire pour permettre l'ajustement de la tension de la couverture en longueur et en largeur.
  • A l'aide d'un maillet, on repousse le profilé vers l'extérieur du toit afin de permettre le montage de l'appareil de tension.
  • On glisse les deux appareils de tension sur chaque extrémité du profilé en aluminium.
  • On immobilise les deux appareils de tension à l'aide des deux vis.
  • On tend dans le sens de la longueur à l'aide d'une clé à pipe. En vissant, on tire vers l'extérieur le petit profilé en aluminium représenté avec sa couverture. Il faut que les vis des équerres soient légèrement serrées pour les équerres glissent sur la face du profilé. Plus aucun pli ne doit apparaître sur la couverture dans le sens de la longueur.
  • On effectue cette même opération à l'autre extrémité du profilé. Normalement, quand la toile est bien tendue, les profilés doivent être écartés l'un de l'autre, d'environ 5 à 15 mm.
  • Avant de démonter les appareils de tension, on vérifie que les deux vis de l'équerre du côté du grand profil sont bien bloquées.
  • Pour tendre dans le sens de la largeur, il suffit à l'aide d'un maillet, d'écarter les équerres afin que plus aucun pli n'apparaisse dans le sens de la largeur.
  • Avant de démonter les appareils de tension, on vérifie que toutes les vis des équerres sont bien serrées.
  • On répète ces opérations de tension de l'autre côté du toit.
  • On termine l'ajustement de la tension en largeur au niveau des tubes tendeurs à l'aide des vis d'extrémité.
  • Après tension définitive, on vérifie qu'il n'y ait aucun pli sur la couverture. Celle-ci doit être tendue très fortement de manière semblable à une peau de tambour.
  • On vérifie le serrage de toutes les vis des équerres et on prend le toit pour le retourner.
  • On monte les quatre caches d'angles du toit.

The width cover is then slightly stretched using the screws of these tensioners so as to allow the cover to slide further into the groove.
  • The two end crosspieces are threaded, ensuring that the curved part is mounted on the outside of the roof.
  • Four brackets are prepared with a single cleat fixed on them using the two CHC screws.
  • We check the correct direction of assembly of the bracket, the large distance A to be on the upper side, so that once mounted the bracket does not rub against the cover. These squares must be strung on large profiles.
  • The second cleat of the bracket is threaded into a groove of the profile.
  • We draw the bracket against the profile by checking that the cleat fits well between the centerers of the square. Mount the last two screws on the square.
  • The brackets are squared against the profile faces, in particular aluminum, without tightening them. Sliding of the square relative to the aluminum profiles is necessary to allow adjustment of the tension of the cover in length and width.
  • With the aid of a mallet, the profile is pushed back towards the outside of the roof in order to allow the mounting of the tensioning apparatus.
  • Both tensioning devices are slid onto each end of the aluminum profile.
  • The two tensioning devices are immobilized with the two screws.
  • We tend in the direction of the length by means of a pipe wrench. By screwing, pull out the small aluminum profile shown with its cover. It is necessary that the screws of the brackets are slightly tightened for the brackets slide on the face of the profile. No more folds should appear on the cover in the direction of the length.
  • This same operation is performed at the other end of the profile. Normally, when the canvas is fine tense, the profiles must be spaced from each other, approximately 5 to 15 mm.
  • Before dismounting the voltage devices, check that the two screws of the bracket on the side of the large profile are locked.
  • To stretch in the direction of the width, it is enough with the aid of a mallet, to spread the brackets so that no more crease appears in the direction of the width.

  • These tensioning operations are repeated on the other side of the roof.
  • The adjustment of the tension in width at the level of the tensioning tubes is completed by means of the end screws.
  • After final tension, check that there is no crease on the cover. This must be stretched very strongly in a manner similar to a drum skin.
  • We check the tightness of all the screws of the brackets and we take the roof to return it.
  • The four corner covers of the roof are mounted.
