Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a mounting device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a mounting device of this type is known from the prior art EP 1 936 052 known.
  • This mounting device includes a mounting frame to be attached to a building wall and has only a single footrest with which the mounting device stands on the floor.
  • the mounting frame is connected to the building wall in the upper area using wall anchors, while a fastening plate is also provided in the lower area.
  • the assembly device according to the EP 1 936 052 is therefore supported by the wall anchors, the mounting plate and the sole footrest.
  • the assembly device EP 1 936 052 is usually used for wall-hanging sanitary ware. Consequently, the components of the assembly device must be dimensioned accordingly.
  • the pipe penetration area is between the supports up to a height of approx. 70 cm in the case of installing a toilet or up to approx. 120 cm in the case of installing a washbasin.
  • EP 0 201 768 A2 Another assembly device is out EP 0 201 768 A2 known. This includes a one-piece casting or molding and a mounting bracket for attachment to a wall on site. There are also fastening connections for attaching a wall-hung toilet.
  • the object of the invention is to specify an assembly device which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • an assembly device is to be specified which can be used more flexibly.
  • a mounting device for positioning or fastening a sanitary article in particular a toilet bowl, comprises at least two or exactly two vertical struts running at a distance from one another.
  • the vertical struts are connected to one another via at least one or precisely one hollow body.
  • the hollow body comprises at least one fastening element, via which the sanitary article can be fastened to the mounting device.
  • a hollow body which can also be referred to as a box body
  • the hollow body in contrast to a traverse, can be adapted very easily to new shapes of sanitary articles, as a result of which its support can be improved very easily.
  • the freedom of design is thus increased.
  • the arrangement of a hollow body makes it possible to dispense with the arrangement of several traverses, as is known from the prior art.
  • the hollow body comprises a recess which extends through the hollow body and which provides a free space through which a drain pipe can be guided
  • Recess is V-shaped or trapezoidal.
  • the recess is arranged in such a way that the hollow body has a web area above the recess.
  • the recess penetrates the hollow body, viewed in the installed position, preferably from below and is designed to be open at the bottom.
  • the recess can be arranged flexibly in the hollow body and essentially extends completely through it.
  • the recess thus penetrates the hollow body and reduces its volume.
  • the recess is preferably arranged in such a way that it extends from the outside into the hollow body, so that the latter is open in the area where it extends.
  • the recess can also be referred to as an indentation which extends into the hollow body.
  • the recess extends from a starting point in the middle between the two vertical struts at an angle to the vertical strut, so that the cross section of the recess becomes larger as the distance in the direction of the vertical struts from the center increases.
  • said v-shaped recess is provided.
  • the recess can be rounded or flattened in the tip of the V's.
  • the hollow body comprises a front wall and a rear wall arranged at a distance from the front wall.
  • the front wall and the rear wall are connected to the respective vertical strut via their side edges facing the vertical strut.
  • the front wall and the rear wall are connected via at least one reinforcement profile and/or at least one reinforcement rib.
  • the reinforcing profile and/or the reinforcing rib run along the free side edges that are not connected to the vertical strut.
  • the reinforcement profile or the reinforcement rib are then preferably arranged in such a way that they provide a side wall or side walls which connect the front wall and the rear wall.
  • the hollow body is thus defined and delimited by the front wall, the rear wall, the reinforcing profile providing the side walls or the reinforcing rib providing the side walls, and the vertical struts.
  • the hollow body is essentially completely surrounded by the walls mentioned and one can also speak of an essentially closed hollow body.
  • the wording closed in this context does not exclude the possibility that openings are also present in the respective walls, which provide access to the cavity, for example to the fastening means.
  • the hollow body is open on at least one side edge without a reinforcing profile and/or without a reinforcing rib. This allows the weight of the assembly device to be optimized. In addition, easy access to the interior can also be provided.
  • the hollow body is connected to the vertical struts via its front wall and the rear wall.
  • the vertical struts particularly preferably have surfaces facing one another, with the hollow body being connected to the respective vertical strut via these surfaces.
  • the hollow body In the installed position, the hollow body extends essentially downwards with respect to the at least one fastening element.
  • the maximum extent of the hollow body viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the vertical struts, is preferably in the range from 150 mm to 500 mm, in particular in the range from 200 mm to 400 mm.
  • the extension is particularly preferred at 400 mm if the hollow body extends upwards and downwards with respect to the fastening elements as described above, or 250 mm if the hollow body extends upwards or downwards with respect to the fastening elements as described above.
  • the hollow body has The direction of the longitudinal axis of the vertical strut is shorter than the vertical strut.
  • the at least one fastening element is arranged at least partially, preferably completely, within the hollow body, the hollow body having openings which provide access to the fastening element.
  • the openings are preferably located in the front wall and optionally in the rear wall.
  • the arrangement of the fastening elements in the interior of the hollow body has the advantage that the fastening elements can be connected both to the front wall and to the rear wall, which allows good introduction of the forces into the hollow body.
  • the fastening element preferably has a threaded opening into which a threaded rod can be screwed, which can be connected to the sanitary article.
  • Said openings which provide access to the fastening element, are preferably arranged in such a way that they provide a passage through the hollow body.
  • At least two or exactly two fastening elements are particularly preferably arranged at a distance from one another, which two fastening elements are preferably arranged laterally to the recess. However, the recess does not extend between the fastening elements.
  • the front surface of the vertical struts spans a front plane and the rear surface of the vertical struts spans a back plane, with the hollow body lying between these two planes or congruently with these planes.
  • the hollow body is made of metal and is materially connected, in particular via a welded connection, to the vertical strut.
  • the at least one fastening element is preferably in contact with a threaded rod which protrudes essentially perpendicularly to the frame and to the vertical brace and can be brought into contact with the sanitary article.
