Description
AN EXTERNAL NOISE EMISSION SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an external noise emission system which enables the safety of the pedestrians by means of electric vehicles the noise level emitted to environment of which is low emitting artificial noise to a determined and limited area in movement direction of the vehicle which poses a risk in terms of pedestrian safety.
Background of the Invention In applications known in the state of the art, the noise mitted by the vehicles driven with electric motor to the outer environment is at very low level relative to the internal combustion engines. This situation poses risk for the safety of pedestrians and bikers. Pedestrians and bikers ca be late to realize an approaching electric vehicle, and they can move in front of the vehicle.
Great Britain Patent Document no GB2497642, an application known in the state of the art, discloses a system which generates an artificial noise formed via the vehicles having a computer program for carrying out the invented method, and a device for generating artificial driving noises for a motor vehicle. In this system, environmental conditions, object and/or other road users in-vehicle information are formed in a certain way; a mechanism generating an artificial noise is disclosed by gathering all data depending on driving via an environmental sensor unit. German Patent Document no DE102009057683A1 , an application known in the state of the art, discloses a system which is used while driving and warns other
users on the road (pedestrian-biker etc.). There is mechanism in this system which detects other elements on the road, and a warning system is disclosed in this system which is formed considering the movement of the vehicle, the speed and movement of other users. In order to avoid unnecessary noise generation in the system, it is aimed to transmit directly to the road user which can be in danger. By this means hybrid or electric vehicle which moves without noise under normal conditions keep being quieter than the gasoline-powered vehicles, it activates warning noise or signal only to warn a road user (pedestrian or biker etc.) who is in danger.
International Patent Document no WO2012059285, an application known in the state of the art, discloses a system which detects the elements on the road placed in the vehicles and warns the elements accordingly in order to avoid accidents that can ocur due to low-noise driving of electrical vehicles. It is aimed to warn the elements in danger via engine noise or another noise, and make the elements recognize the approaching vehicle.
United States Patent Document no US20120179280, an application known in the state of the art, discloses a warning system which can be used for electrical or hybrid vehicles.
