In this embodiment, the inspecting plate 1 forms part of the second sensor module 22.
  • the length D1 of the inspecting plate 1 in the direction BN of the movement of the document can advantageously be 7 mm to 40 mm.
  • the first suction block 2 and the second suction block 3 comprise through holes 18 through which air is sucked by an underpressure below atmospheric pressure in a range of 0.1 bar to 0.8 bar, in particular 0.3 bar to 0.4 bar.
  • the underpressure not only serves to keep the document close to the suction blocks 2, 3 (outside the conveyor belts). It also provides that any air buffers between the document and the flat upper surface of the suction blocks 2, 3 and/or the inspecting plate 1 are prevented.
  • the volume of sucked air is advantageously in relation to the amount of underpressure.
  • the volume may be in the range from 1 m 3 to 100 m 3 per hour.

  • the through holes 18 in the suction blocks 2, 3 may be evenly distributed over the entire upper surface of the suction blocks 2, 3. They may be arranged in a regular orthogonal grid. However, other arrangements are also possible.
  • the inspecting plate 1 does not have through holes. The inspecting plate 1 is closed and firmly sealed against soil and/or dust.

  • steps S1, S2 may also be small steps S1, S2 between the upper surfaces O1, O2, O3 of the first suction block, the inspecting plate and the second suction block.
  • These small steps S1, S2 may have a height of up to 0.3 mm. This can further reduce the risk of air buffering below the document DOC.
  • the sensor unit in particular the sensor modules 21, 22 are advantageously independent from the suction blocks 2, 3.
  • the suction blocks 21, 22 and the conveyor units 50 are advantageously part of the general transport system of the document processing/sorting machine.
  • the sensor modules 21, 22 are then fitted into the gap between the suction blocks 2, 3.

  • the belt-free gap in the transport system does not increase the jam-rate in that particular part of the transport system.
  • the length of the belt-free gap or length of the inspecting plate 1 in the direction of the movement of the document is kept very small. It may range up to 40 mm, and advantageously ranges from 7 mm to 40 mm, while 7 mm is also an advantageous value.

Claims (13)

  1. Appareil (100) pour une machine de triage de documents, en particulier une machine de triage de billets de banque, comprenant : un premier bloc d'aspiration (2) ; un deuxième bloc d'aspiration (3) ; une première unité de convoyage (50) pour déplacer le document le long d'une surface de guidage de document (O2) du premier bloc d'aspiration (2) et une deuxième unité de convoyage (51) pour déplacer le document le long d'une surface de guidage de document (O3) du deuxième bloc d'aspiration (3), le premier bloc d'aspiration (2) et la première unité de convoyage (50), et le deuxième bloc d'aspiration (3) et la deuxième unité de convoyage (51) étant agencés des côté opposés d'une fente sans bande de convoyeur, la fente sans bande étant réalisée de manière à loger une plaque de contrôle (1) d'une unité détectrice présentant une surface supérieure (O1) ; la longueur de la fente étant sensiblement inférieure à la longueur du document, caractérisé en ce que le plan de la surface supérieure (O2) du premier bloc d'aspiration (2) est incliné d'un angle α par rapport au plan de la surface supérieure (O1) de la plaque de contrôle (1), de sorte que le risque d'un coussin d'air au-dessous du document est réduit, et l'angle α n'étant pas supérieur à 4°.
  2. Appareil selon la revendication 1, dans lequel un étage (S1) est agencé entre les surfaces supérieures (O2) et (O1) du premier bloc d'aspiration (2) et la plaque de contrôle (1), et dans lequel un étage (S2) est agencé entre les surfaces supérieures (O1) et (O3) de la plaque de contrôle (1) et le deuxième bloc d'aspiration (3), de sorte que le risque d'un coussin d'air au-dessous du document est réduit.
  3. Appareil selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel les étages (S1), (S2) présentent une hauteur jusqu'à 0,3 mm.
  4. Appareil selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la première unité de convoyage est réalisée de manière à libérer le document uniquement lors de la sortie d'une arête arrière du document du premier bloc d'aspiration et/ou dans lequel la deuxième unité de convoyage est réalisée de manière à tirer le document uniquement lors de la sortie d'une arête avant du document de la fente sans bande et/ou lors ou après l'entrée de l'arête avant du document dans le deuxième bloc d'aspiration.
  5. Appareil selon la revendication 1 ou 2, comprenant en outre une unité détectrice et la plaque de contrôle (1), la plaque de contrôle étant agencée entre le premier bloc d'aspiration (2) et le deuxième bloc d'aspiration (3) en tant que zone sans convoyeur, et l'unité détectrice comprenant la plaque de contrôle (1).
  6. Appareil selon la revendication 5, dans lequel l'unité détectrice comprend un premier module détecteur (21) et un deuxième module détecteur (22), le premier module détecteur et le deuxième module détecteur étant agencés des côtés opposés de la plaque de contrôle (1).
  7. Appareil selon la revendication 6, dans lequel une distance entre la plaque de contrôle et le premier module détecteur est comprise entre 2 mm et 12 mm, en particulier entre 5 mm et 12 mm.
  8. Appareil selon la revendication 6 ou 7, dans lequel la plaque de contrôle (1) forme une partie intégrale du deuxième module détecteur (22).
  9. Appareil selon l'une des revendications précédentes, la longueur de la fente sans bande et/ou la longueur (D1) de la plaque de contrôle (1) dans le sens du mouvement du document étant comprise(s) entre 7 mm et 40 mm.
  10. Appareil selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le premier bloc d'aspiration (2) et le deuxième bloc d'aspiration (3) comprennent des trous de passage (18) à travers lesquels de l'air est aspiré par une dépression au-dessous de la pression atmosphérique dans une plage de 0,1 bar à 0,8 bar, en particulier de 0,3 bar à 0,4 bar.
  11. Appareil selon l'une des revendications 6 à 10, dans lequel l'unité détectrice est réalisée sous forme de dispositif de capture d'images pour saisir des images du document en réflexion depuis les deux côtés du document et en transmission pendant le déplacement du document sur la plaque de contrôle (1).
  12. Appareil selon la revendication 11, comprenant en outre une unité de traitement (70), l'unité de traitement étant réalisée de manière à traiter une image du document reçue de l'unité détectrice et à déterminer l'authenticité et/ou la salissure et/ou l'utilité du document.
  13. Machine de triage de documents/de billets de banque (200) comprenant un appareil selon l'une des revendications précédentes.
