By placing the granules with a movement component in the conveying direction of the flow, a more uniform filling of the gaps is made possible. The granules are in this case conveyed in an air stream and has at the output of Granulatbefüllvorrichtung a component of movement in the conveying direction of the stream or the strand.
Vorzugsweise liegt der Winkel bei 20° bis 45°.Characterized in that the granules is injected at an angle of 0 ° to 45 ° to a tangent of an outer inner surface of the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung in Granulesbefüllvorrichtung, the granules, which is conveyed in the injected air flow, already given to a conveyor track, which adjoins a outer surface of a curved wall of the granule filling device can nestle. The angle from 0 ° to 45 ° is preferably to be understood as a radial angle to the tangent. Preferably, the angle is 20 ° to 45 °.

Insbesondere durch das Vorsehen einer gekrümmten Bahn und einer ausreichend hohen Zentrifugalkraft, die auf das Granulat wirkt, so dass dieses an einer gekrümmten Wandung der Granulatbefüllvorrichtung entlang bewegt wird, ist ein Trennen desIf, on the output side of the granulate filling device, the granules, in particular before filling the gaps with granules, are separated from the air stream, a very efficient filling of the gaps is possible. In this case, a separation of the granulate from the air flow is made possible or provided in particular shortly before the delivery of the granulate from the outlet of the granulate filling device. In particular, by providing a curved path and a sufficiently high centrifugal force acting on the granules so that it is moved along a curved wall of the granule filling device, separation of the
Granulats von dem Luftstrom effizient möglich.Granules of the air flow efficiently possible.
Preferably, the first suction tube dips from a first end face of the granulate filling device into the granulate filling device. The immersion preferably proceeds to the middle of the granulate filling device.
Preferably, air is drawn off via a second suction tube, which dips into the granulate filling device from a second end face. This can increase the vortex formation of the granular-enriched air stream.
Furthermore, this can serve to blow off further injected air, which can serve, for example, excess granules from the flow of filter segments or from the strand thus formed.
The first end face and the second end face are preferably opposite each other and delimiting the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung each to an opposite side.
Preferably, the granules are delivered tangentially from the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung in the gaps. If the granules are accelerated to a speed in the longitudinal axial direction of movement of 50% to 150% of the speed of the flow, a complete filling of the gaps with granules is possible.
Preferably, the speed in the longitudinal axial direction of movement of the granules is between 70% to 130% of the speed of the stream, in particular between 80% to 120% of the speed of the stream and particularly preferably between 90% to 110% of the speed of the stream. The speed of the stream is also understood to mean the speed of the strand.
Preferably, a blowing device is provided which blows off excess granules deposited on the stream of filter segments, wherein As a result, in particular a further enriched with granules air flow is generated, which serves to complement filling the gaps with granules.
The object is further achieved by a granulate filling device of the tobacco processing industry with an inlet for filling granules in the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung and an outlet for dispensing granules in a strand machine of the tobacco processing industry, wherein a first suction air connection is provided, wherein by means of the first suction air connection and producing a flow of air from a first compressed air connection, which conveys granules from the inlet to the outlet, wherein an air flow is generated by means of the first suction air connection and the first compressed air connection, which leads the granules in the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung on a vortex path which contains a component of movement in a longitudinal axis of Granulatbefüllvorrichtung having.
The granule filling device according to the invention makes it possible to very efficiently and completely fill gaps between filter segments of a stream of filter segments or of a gap-filled strand of filter segments with granules.
In the context of the invention, a vortex path is also to be understood as meaning a path which is at least partially helical, helical or spiral-shaped.
Preferably, the granules in the air stream are accelerated so that they are conveyed along an outer inner surface of the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung pushed outward along.
Vorzugsweise ist die äußere Innenfläche rotationssymmetrisch.Preferably, the outer inner surface is rotationally symmetric.
Preferably, an air space or rotation space of the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung in which the air flow, which is enriched with granules, is moved or flows, rotationally symmetrical.
Preferably, the granules are discharged tangentially from the outlet. The tangential outlet means, in particular, that the granules are delivered tangentially from the inner wall or the outer inner surface.
It is particularly preferred if the outlet is slot-shaped. The slit-shaped outlet is preferably arranged along the longitudinal axis of the granulate filling device and can be aligned coaxially with the longitudinal axis of a stranding machine in order to be able to introduce granules into the stream via the slot-shaped outlet into the gaps arranged between the filter segments. Due to the slit-shaped outlet whose length is preferably adjustable, a very uniform and full filling of the gaps with granules is possible. In particular, then sufficient time remains to be able to fill enough granules in the gaps.
With the tangential discharge of the granules, the granules thus have a component of movement in the conveying direction of the filter strand or the stream of filter segments, which are provided with gaps, as well as towards the filter strand, preferably down, i. in the direction of gravity.
Die äußere Innenfläche grenzt einen Rotationsraum, in dem die Wirbelbahn erzeugt wird, nach außen ab.Preferably, the first compressed air port inflates a granular-enriched air flow at an angle of 0 ° to 45 ° to a tangent of an outer inner wall. As a result, the concern of the air flow, which is enriched with granules, supported on the outer inner surface of the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung. Preferably, the angle is between 0 ° and 20 °, in particular preferably between 0 ° and 10 °, in particular preferably between 0 ° and 5 °, and particularly preferably the injected air flow is substantially tangential to the outer inner surface. The outer inner surface defines a rotation space in which the vortex path is generated to the outside.
Preferably, the first suction air connection is designed as a first suction pipe, which dips from a first end face of the granulate filling in the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung. This makes it particularly efficient possible to provide a Luftstromwirbelbildung. It is produced as cyclonic an airflow vortex.
Preferably, a blowing device is provided, which blows off excess granules deposited on the stream of filter segments, whereby a further airflow enriched with granules is produced, which serves for supplementing the gaps with granules. This, in particular, provides that the blowing device blows off the excess granules from the stream of filter segments or the formed strand of alternating filter segments and granulate-filled gaps, wherein the air stream used for blowing is correspondingly enriched with granules and again as Vortex, preferably along the outer inner surface of the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung, flows along, and so also comes back into an area in which the granules can be discharged through the outlet again in not completely filled gaps.
Preferably, a second suction tube is provided, which dips from a second end face in the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung. The second end face is preferably opposite the first end face. Preferably, the distance of the first and the second suction tube is adjustable to each other.
If at least one guideway is provided in the region of the inlet on the outer inner surface, which leads to the granular-enriched air flow, a very precise and defined guidance of the granular-enriched air flow is possible. In particular, at least the initial angle or the initial slope of a guided in the vortex at least partially in the direction of movement of the strand air flow, which is enriched with granules, may be provided. For this purpose, the granulate conveyed in the air stream is a component of movement imposed, which is at least partially in the conveying direction of a filter rod machine or in the longitudinal direction of the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung.
The object is further achieved by a filter rod machine of the tobacco-processing industry with a granule filling device, which is described above, wherein the outlet of the granulate filling device is arranged above a format device of the filter rod machine, wherein the format device is adapted to a wrapping material strip, are applied to the filter segments, first so as to lay around the filter segments that an opening remains through which granules can be introduced into gaps between the filter segments, then then close the wrapping material strip completely around the formed strand, wherein the filter rod machine also has a cutting device, by means of the filter strand in Filter is cut to length.
By the filter rod machine according to the invention a very efficient production of a multi-segment filter strand with filter segments and granule filling between the filter segments is possible. In the context of the invention, filter segments are understood as meaning, in particular, acetate tow filter segments. However, other filter segments that are substantially dimensionally stable or flexible may also be provided.
Preferably, the outlet or outlet of the granule filling device communicates with the opening of the wrapping material strip. Preferably, the outlet of the granule filling device is located immediately above the opening of the wrapping material strip.
Preferably, the outlet of the granulate filling device and the conveying direction of the filter rod machine are parallel to each other. Preferably, the mechanical device of the granule filling device forces the granules at the outlet to have a velocity component which is longitudinal the conveying direction of the filter rod machine is.
It is fed from a magazine or a storage container for granules, the granules via a controllable opening an air flow. By means of the opening, the amount of granules depending on the strand speed, and thus the number of gaps to be filled, can be adjusted. The filling area can be modular and varied.
The granules are introduced via a stream of air with compressed air substantially tangentially in a Granulatbefüllvorrichtung. In this case, according to granules flows from a granular container whose output is controllable, to a compressed air line through which compressed air is passed, by means of which then the granules are entrained and entered into the Granulatbefüllvorrichtung. The granulate filling device preferably has a rotational space into which the granules are introduced tangentially or essentially tangentially by means of a compressed air introduction device which can be designed as a blowing nozzle. On the inner surface of the rotation space, a shower of granules is formed, which is directly directed to the stream of filter segments with gaps or the strand forming by filling the gaps with granules. An excess of granules, which comes to rest on the strand, for example, comes to filter segments or so that the gaps are filled to full, can be blown or blown in a downstream region of the rotation space and transported within the rotation space for re-entry ,
The registered in the rotation room air is sucked centrally through dip tubes. The rotating in the rotation space air vortex or the rotating air vortex is accelerated both by the incoming air and by the sucked clean air. Moving to the center of the vortex increases the angular velocity of the airflow.
The amount of granules can be adjusted or regulated accordingly, depending on, for example, the strand conveying speed or the size of the gaps.
There is preferably a tangential deposition between 9 o'clock and 6 o'clock, more preferably between 9 o'clock and 7 o'clock, or, if the grooves of the spiral or the screw is formed the other way round, between 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock, more preferably between 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock.
