A two-part telescopic box (1) comprising a bottom (2) and a lid (3) fitting by vertical sliding on said bottom (2), the bottom (2) and the lid (3) each comprising a lateral belt (5) closed by a bottom wall, the end of the lateral belt (5) opposite to the bottom wall defining an entrance for the bottom (2) or the lid (3), said box (1) passing from a closed position with a least internal volume to an extended position with a greater internal volume by sliding of the lid (3) with respect to the bottom (2), said bottom (2) and said lid (3) comprising panels (4) connected together by grooves (8) forming articulations, wherein at least one of said panels (4) comprises means for enabling said lid (3) to adopt a raised position and comprises means for forming at least one lateral distribution opening (14) in said box (1), wherein the lid and the bottom are fitted on each other through their entrances, the bottom wall of the bottom (2) constituting the base of the box and the bottom wall of the lid (3) constituting the top of the box, the lid (3) and the bottom (2) each comprising at least one opening for distributing the products contained in the box, characterised in that the box further comprises articles to be packaged, said articles being compressible, and being, in the closed position of the box, compressed, and in the extended position relaxed, the box comprising means for holding in the closed position counter to the return force exerted by the compressed articles, the passage from the closed position to the extended position taking place under the effect of the return force exerted by the compressed articles on the bottom wall of the lid and the bottom wall of the bottom when the lid is free to move vis-à-vis the bottom.
  2. A box according to claim 1, wherein the distribution opening (14) of the lid (3) and/or the distribution opening (14) of the bottom (4) extend along a lateral edge of the box, so as to coincide with the corresponding opening or openings of an adjacent box.
  3. A box (1) according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the lateral belt (5) is formed by at least four panels (41, 42, 43, 44), connected together and each comprising a flap (61, 62, 63, 64) connected to said corresponding panels (4) by folding lines (7), said four flaps (61, 62, 63, 64) forming the bottom wall of the lid (3) or of the bottom (2) connected to said panels (41, 42, 43, 44) by said folding lines (7), and wherein the distribution opening extends over two adjacent panels of the lid or of the bottom.
  4. A box according to any of the preceding claims, wherein, in the closed position, the lid fits completely in the bottom.
  5. A box (1) according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the means for holding the lid (3) in the raised position comprise a projecting locking tongue (10) formed from scores (11) and grooves (12), forming articulations, in one or more panels (4) of the bottom (2) and of the lid (3) .
  6. A box (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the means for forming the lateral distribution openings in said box (1) comprise scored parts (13) formed, and extending, over at least two adjacent panels (4) of the bottom (2) and of the lid (3), said scored parts (13) once detached allow the formation of said lateral distribution openings (14).
  7. A method for transforming the box (1) according to any of claims 1 to 6 into a display for compressible articles, in the relaxed state, said method comprising the following steps:
    - taking a box (1) according to any of claims 1 to 6,
    - filling said box (1) with compressible articles,
    - closing said box (1) while compressing said compressible articles,
    - keeping said box (1), comprising said compressed compressible articles, in a closed position,
    - at the place of sale of said articles, deploying the lid (3) of said box (1) in an extended position by the spring effect obtained by the decompression of said compressed articles,
    - forming one or more lateral distribution openings (14).
  8. A sales island (20) comprising at least two boxes (1) according to any of claims 1 to 6.
  9. A sales island (20) according to claim 8, wherein the boxes (1) are connected together by one or more scored parts (13) forming, once detached, one or more lateral distribution openings (14), of at least one of said boxes (1).
