Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a flat mop, in particular disposable flat mop, and the use of the flat mop for clean room cleaning.
  • Known flat mops are essentially flat and have an elongated shape. They have on the cover sheet side attachment means for a flat mop holder. Often, terminal pockets attached to a right-sided cover sheet side are used. In general, the reusable mop is moistened by complete or partial immersion in a container filled with liquid. This usually requires the use of a cleaning cart comprising at least two or more receptacles.
  • the WO 2009095736 relates to a flat mop, which is covered on a front side with microfibers and has grooves on said front side, which are free of microfibers.
  • the grooves are intended to serve as a pick-up area for dirt while the microfibers are the active areas that contact the ground.
  • the DE 10 2012 012 4002 relates to a flat mop cover for clean rooms, which has a base without applied threads. The absence of threads makes the particularly good suitability for clean rooms, as fewer particles are released.
  • the main body comprises a flat textile material, which may be a knitted fabric, a knitted fabric, a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric.
  • the DE 20 2007 011 580 U1 describes a mop having a cover sheet of resistant synthetic fibers, wherein a wiping surface is provided from microfiber plush.
  • the wiping surfaces have freely movable blades at the edges on the underside of the flat mop.
  • the DE 10 2012 012 402 describes a flat mop cover for clean rooms, wherein the textile material may be formed as knitted fabric, knit fabric or nonwoven fabric.
  • the flat mop cover has a pivotable cleaning lip.
  • the cleaning surface has no base fabric with applied threads.
  • the DE 101 34 948 also describes a clean room mop system, with the mop showing improved uptake for chemicals, water and oils.
  • This thread loops are made of yarn, which are made of ultrafine endless polyester yarn or nylon.
  • the cover sheet can be made of a PU-coated Rascheltuch or made of a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) -coated hankerchief.
  • a particular challenge in the development of flat mop systems for clean rooms is the degree of cleaning to be achieved combined with a controlled supply of disinfectant and / or cleaning liquids for the purpose of optimum humidification. If the flat mop is not adequately soaked or moistened, there is often no continuous liquid film formed on the surface to be cleaned. There is no complete disinfection or cleaning. On the other hand, if too much liquid is added to the mop when soaking, there is a risk that dirt particles will not be absorbed by or held in the fiber structure of the cleaning surface. In addition, the cleaning layer not only has to take in all microparticles and not re-release, but also to ensure that any dirt particles are removed from the substrate to be cleaned, absorbed in the cleaning layer and not released again.
  • the present invention therefore an object of the invention to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a flat mop available, which always ensures a high cleaning power in addition to the reliable and controlled humidification in particular of clean room areas. Besides, it is a task, a Flat mop can be provided, which can also be used with conventional flat mop holders and humidification systems.
  • a flat mop in particular a disposable flat mop, has been found having a topsheet layer and an opposing cleaning layer having a first edge and an opposing second edge, the cleaning layer comprising a woven, knitted or knitted layer having a front and a back side consisting of microfiber material and fibrous material which is not microfiber material (non-microfiber material), comprising or presenting and wherein the topsheet layer comprises or comprises a consolidated nonwoven material, in particular comprising or consisting of polyester fibers, the front side and possibly the back of the cleaning layer being alternating, in particular have substantially parallel, first and second strip-shaped areas extending from or spaced from the first edge in the direction of the second edge or to the second edge, wherein the first areas of the cleaning layer front and esp special also predominantly, in particular substantially exclusively, woven, knitted or knitted microfiber material or consist thereof and wherein the second areas of the cleaning layer predominantly on the front, in particular substantially exclusively, woven, knitted or knitted non-microfiber material, i.
