Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Gleisanlage (GA) mit einer ersten Gleisstrecke (GS1) und einer zweiten Gleisstrecke (GS2), mit wenigstens einer Weiche (W), die eine Stammrichtung (SR) umfasst und in wenigstens eine Zweigrichtung (ZR) verstellbar ist, und mit einem ersten Schienenschalter (AZ1), der in Stammrichtung (SR) auf der ersten Gleisstrecke (GS1) hinter der Weiche (W) angeordnet ist, wobei eine Anlagensteuerung (AS) der Gleisanlage (GA) bei Defekt des ersten Schienenschalters (AZ1) ein Meldesignal erzeugt, das wenigstens einen Hinweis enthält, die Weiche (W) in die Zweigrichtung (ZR) zu stellen, so dass ein Alternativfahrweg (FW) befahrbar ist.
