Abstract

Fehlerstromschutzmodul (2) für eine Niederspannungsinstallation mit mindestens einer ersten Stromphase (L1). Das Fehlerstromschutzmodul hat einen ersten Gehäuseteil (12), einen einem Neutralleiter (N) zuordenbaren ersten Pol (4), sowie einen mit dem ersten Pol (4) verbundenen Summenstromwandler (13). In einem Wandabschnitt (14) des ersten Gehäuseteils (12) des Fehlerstromschutzmoduls (2) ist eine erste Öffnung (15) angeordnet, durch welche hindurch der Summenstromwandler (13) mit einem ausserhalb des Fehlerstromschutzmoduls (2) angeordneten Stromphase (L1) verbindbar ist. Das Fehlerstromschutzmodul (2) kann im eingebauten Zustand in der Niederspannungsinstallation derart an ein benachbartes Schutzgerät (3) heran gebaut werden, so dass sich die erste Öffnung (15) in Richtung (6) des benachbarten Schutzgeräts (3) erstreckt.
