- As shown in
FIGS. 1 and2 , the suspending device for trousers according to the present invention include: aninner clip 10 which is located on an inner face of a top (S) ; and anouter clip 20 which is supported on an inner face of an upper end portion of trousers (T). Theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are elastically combined together and fix a shirt (S) between theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 to support the trousers not to slip down. - The
inner clip 10 is located on the inner face of the shirt (S), for instance, a dress shirt, and may be connected with a shoulder strap through aring 18. Thering 18 is actually to connect the shoulder strap, but may be omitted because the suspending device according to the present invention can be used without using the shoulder strap as described later. - The
inner clip 10 includes abase 12, andelastic hooks 14 which are respectively formed at top and bottom of thebase 12. Ends of theelastic hooks 14 are bent inwardly, namely, bent to face each other, and are formed to be elastically coupled to couplinggrooves 26 of theouter clip 20 which will be described later. That is, theelastic hooks 14 are an upper elastic hook and a lower elastic hook, and theelastic hooks 14 are respectively coupled to thecoupling grooves 26 which are respectively formed at the top and the bottom of theouter clip 20. - Moreover, an
elastic member 16 may be mounted on an outer surface of thebase 12 and includes a plate spring. Theelastic member 16 is to provide an elastic force when theouter clip 20 is released from theinner clip 10 as described later. - The
outer clip 20 is fixed to the inner face of the upper end portion of the trousers (T), and more preferably, is detachably fixed to the trousers (T). In other words, theouter clip 20 may be fixed or detachably mounted to the inner face of the upper end portion of the trousers (T), namely, the upper end portion of the trousers which is a part where belt loops are formed and which corresponds to the position of a belt. For instance, as shown inFIG. 2 , abase 22 of theouter clip 20 is fixed to the inner face of the upper end portion of the trousers (T) by a pair of fixing screws (S). However, there are lots of embodiments with the structure that theupper clip 20 is detachably fixed to the upper end portion of the trousers (T), and the structures will be described later. - The
outer clip 20 includes: a pair ofelastic hooking parts 24 protruding on the inner face of thebase 22 which comes into contact with the inner face of the trousers (T); andcoupling grooves 26 formed between the elastic hookingpart 24 and thebase 22. Thecoupling groove 26 formed by the elastic hookingpart 24 is elastically coupled to the inner face of theelastic hook 14. That is, thecoupling groove 26 also includes an upper coupling groove and a lower coupling groove. - In other words, in the preferred embodiment shown in
FIG. 2 , theelastic hook 14 of theinner clip 10 has ends which extend to face each other, namely, the elastic hooking part of the upper part extends downwardly but the elastic hooking part of the lower part extends upwardly, and thecoupling grooves 26 of theouter clip 20 are respectively formed at the upper part and the lower part inside thebase 22 of theouter clip 20. Therefore, a pair of theelastic hooks 14 of theinner clip 10 can be elastically coupled to or separated from a pair of thecoupling grooves 26. - However, the
elastic hooks 14 of theinner clip 10 are not limited to such an embodiment, and may have any form if they can be elastically coupled to or separated from thecoupling grooves 26. For instance, a pair of theelastic hooks 14 may be formed to extend in a direction that they get farther from each other. In this instance, it is sufficient that thecoupling grooves 26 are formed to have the form that theelastic hooks 14 can be elastically coupled to or separated from thecoupling grooves 26. - Here, it is good that the
coupling grooves 26 are actually formed on upper and lower portions of thebase 22 of theouter clip 20 or upper and lower faces of the inner surface of thebase 22 so as to be elastically coupled to or separated from theelastic hooks 14, and of course, the form of thecoupling grooves 26 may be modified. - The
inner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are made of an elastically transformable material to be elastically coupled to or separated from each other. For instance, theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 may be formed of a synthetic resin material, or may be formed with metal plates with elasticity. - Next, referring to
FIG. 2 , the use of the suspending device for trousers according to the present invention will be described. As described above, theinner clip 10 is located on the inner face of the top (S), for instance, a dress shirt. Furthermore, theinner clip 10 may be supported using a shoulder strap, and in this instance, the shoulder strap is caught to thering 18. Here, when the shoulder strap is used, it is natural that a rear end portion of the shoulder strap is connected to the inner clip of the trousers which are positioned on the wearer's waist. - Alternatively, the
inner clip 10 may be used alone without using the shoulder strap. In this instance, the wearer controls theinner clip 10 to hold a proper position on the inner face of the top (S). Moreover, as described above, theouter clip 20 is fixed on the inner face of the upper end portion of the trousers (T). In this state, when theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are coupled to each other, as illustrated in the drawing, the top (S) is interposed between theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20. - In other words, the
elastic hooks 14 of theinner clip 10 is elastically coupled to thecoupling grooves 26 of theouter clip 20. In the state where theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are coupled to each other, as illustrated in the drawing, the top (S) is interposed between theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20. Therefore, the suspending device according to the present invention can prevent the trousers from sliding down because the trousers (T) can be maintained at the fixed position relative to the top (S). - Furthermore, in the above-mentioned state, it is prevented that the trousers (T) slide down and that the top (S) interposed between the
inner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 goes up. As described above, in the state where theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are coupled to each other, the trousers (T) and the shirt (S) maintain their fixed heights in the fixed state. Therefore, the suspending device for trousers according to the present invention can prevent the trousers from sliding down and also prevent that the top goes up by the wearer's action to raise the wearer's arms. - In order to release the state where the wearer is wearing the suspending device, when the wearer applies power to the
inner clip 10 to be elastically transformed, theelastic hooks 14 are separated from thecoupling grooves 26. In this instance, theelastic member 16 mounted on thebase 12 of theinner clip 10 applies elasticity to theouter clip 20 so that theouter clip 20 can be released more smoothly. - Next, suspending device for trousers according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the first preferred embodiment, the
elastic hooks 14 and thecoupling grooves 26 are respectively formed at the upper portions and the lower portions of theclips inner clip 10 and thecoupling grooves 26 of theouter clip 20 are coupled together in pairs to be elastically combined with each other, and their positions and forms may be modified in various ways. - In the first embodiment, the
outer clip 20 is fixed to the trousers using a screw (S), but of course, the present invention is not limited to the above. For instance, theouter clip 20 can be detachably mounted on the inner face of the upper end portion of the trousers (T). For instance, theouter clip 20 may have a structure of tongs using a spring. Alternatively, theouter clip 20 may have a safety pin mounted therein to be put into the inside of the upper end portion of the trousers, so that theouter clip 20 can be fixed to the inner face of the upper end portion of the trousers. - Additionally, as a further another preferred embodiment, the
outer clip 22 may be detachably attached to the trousers using belt loops of the trousers. In general, a plurality of belt loops are formed on the entire circumference of the trousers to wear a belt. Therefore, theouter clip 20 can be detachably attached to the trousers (T) using the belt loops. - For instance, the suspending device illustrated in
FIG. 3 includes:coupling grooves 26A respectively formed at an upper face and a lower face thereof so that end portions ofelastic hooks 14 can be elastically coupled to thecoupling grooves 26A; and a retainingarm 28 formed to be caught to the belt loop of the trousers. The retainingarm 28 extends from an end portion of one side of the base to be spaced apart from abase 22A at a predetermined interval and is inserted into the belt loop of the trousers. For instance, the retainingarm 28 is inserted into the belt loop of the trousers while the upper end portion of the trousers (T) is inserted into a space formed between thebase 22A and the retainingarm 28. - In the state where the
elastic hooks 14 of theinner clip 10 is elastically coupled to thecoupling grooves 26, when the retainingarm 28 is inserted into the belt loop of the trousers, theelastic hooks 14 prevents the trousers (T) from sliding down. - As described above, in the state where the
inner clip 10 is put inside the top, theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are elastically coupled to each other in the state where the top is interposed between theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment that theinner clip 10 is put inside the top and is coupled with theouter clip 20. - For instance, it is also possible that the top is interposed and supported between the
inner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 while theinner clip 10 is located at a lower end portion of the top. Referring toFIG. 4 , theinner clip 10 includes an upperelastic hook 14a and a lowerelastic hook 14b. Moreover, theouter clip 20 includes anupper coupling groove 26a elastically coupled with the upperelastic hook 14a and alower coupling groove 26b elastically coupled with the lowerelastic hook 14b. - Here, the lower
elastic hook 14b serves just to be coupled to thelower coupling groove 26b. A part of the top (S) is interposed and supported only between the upperelastic hook 14a and theupper coupling groove 26a. That is, in this embodiment, the suspending device is supported to the top (S) only using the upper portions of theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20, and in this instance, the suspending device can actually support the trousers not to slide down because theouter clip 20 is fixed to the trousers. - However, in this embodiment, the top (S) is interposed only between the upper
elastic hook 14a and theupper coupling groove 26a, and it actually means that theinner clip 10 can be supported to the top (S) without being located on the inner face of the top. For instance, in the state where theinner clip 10 is located outside the top (S) and a part of the top (S) is folded, the top (S) can be interposed between the upperelastic hook 14a of theinner clip 10 and theupper coupling groove 26a of theouter clip 20. Also in this instance, it is natural that the suspending device according to the present invention is not exposed to the outside because theouter clip 20 is supported on the inner face of the trousers. - Additionally, in this embodiment, in a state where the lower
elastic hook 14b is coupled to thelower coupling groove 26b, theinner clip 10 can be supported without being separated from theouter clip 20. That is, the lowerelastic hook 14b and thelower coupling groove 26b serve to maintain the state where theinner clip 10 and theouter clip 20 are coupled with each other, for instance, serve as hinge points. Therefore, it is natural that the lowerelastic hook 14b and thelower coupling groove 26b may be varied in various forms within a range that they are not easily separated from each other by an external force. - For instance, the
lower coupling groove 26b may be formed to have a cross section of a dove tail shape, and the lowerelastic hook 14b may be a protrusion of a cross section of a dove tail shape corresponding to thelower coupling groove 26b. In this instance, the lowerelastic hook 14b is inserted into thelower coupling groove 26b while sliding from the side of one end thereof, and the top (S) is interposed between the upperelastic hook 14a and theupper coupling groove 26a in the state where the lowerelastic hook 14b is inserted into thelower coupling groove 26b. - As described above, the suspending device for trousers according to the present invention can prevent the trousers from sliding down because the top (S) is interposed and fixed between the inner clip and the outer clip to prevent the suspending device from being exposed to the outside.
- It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments in various ways without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention and that the protective scope of the present invention should be interpreted based on the claims of the present invention.
