Description
The invention relates to a rail for use in a plate-shaped cladding element for connecting the same with an adjacent plaster and / or filler layer according to the preamble of claim 1 and a cladding element with corresponding rail for covering a soffit of a door or window.
Conventionally, a plaster layer is applied to a soffit of a window or door. Here, the plaster layer is used in the usual way for applying a wallpaper or a paint or the like. To reduce the workload, it is also known to use prefabricated cladding elements that cover the soffit, which makes a plastering of the soffit unnecessary. The problem in this case is the connection of the plaster located in front of the wall or in front of the masonry to the cladding element. For this purpose different profile rails are known from the prior art, which are positively and / or materially connected to the cladding element. Furthermore, the known embodiments have a connection fabric or a connection profile, which covers the adjoining masonry in sections when the cladding element is attached to the soffit. The subsequently applied plaster layer subsequently covers the connection fabric or the connection profile. Thus, a reliable hold between the rail and the applied plaster is guaranteed.
The problem with the known embodiments of the prior art, however, is that for larger, not always avoidable tolerances in the corner of the masonry connecting fabric or the connection profile collides with the bumps in the corner of the masonry, as a result, a direct application of the cladding element the rail is prevented. This necessarily leads to a previous reworking of the masonry to subsequently use the cladding element without collision of the rail with the corner of the masonry can.
Object of the present invention is therefore to allow greater tolerance deviations from the straightness of the adjacent masonry, in which a use of a cladding element without reworking the masonry is possible.
The object is achieved by the use of a rail according to the invention according to the teaching of claim 1.
An inventive cladding element using a corresponding rail is given in claim 7.
Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
The generic profile rail is for use in a plate-shaped cladding element, which in turn is to allow a connection of the cladding element with an adjacent plaster and / or filler layer. The embodiment of the plaster and / or filler layer is irrelevant in this regard. It is essential that through the use of the rail a hold between the Cladding element and a laterally adjacent plaster or a laterally puttied layer is guaranteed.
The profiled rail in use on the plate-shaped cladding element comprises a visible side profile section located on a visible side, an end profile section located on an end side and a connection section arranged on a rear side. The visible side is defined here as the side facing away from the soffit side of the rail or the cladding element. The front side is aligned perpendicular to the visible side and corresponds to the side facing away from the window of the rail or the trim element. The back side correspondingly forms the side of the profile rail facing the reveal. Furthermore, the generic profile rail comprises a substantially parallel to the visible side arranged attachment portion. Here, the attachment portion between the visible side and the back is arranged and serves to secure the position of the rail in use in the plate-shaped lining element.
Contrary to conventional embodiments of the prior art, now the rear-side terminal section is no longer performed in sections over the adjacent masonry, but it extends rather parallel to the mounting portion along the back of the rail.
This novel arrangement of the connection section, it is possible that larger tolerances in the straightness of the masonry are irrelevant with regard to the use of the inventive rail or a cladding element with inventive rail. A collision of the connecting portion with a roughness in the corner of the masonry is thus successfully avoided. The sometimes required in the prior art rework the masonry is therefore unnecessary. Furthermore, the inventive embodiment of the rail simplifies alignment and subsequent Attachment of the cladding element to the soffit, since, for example, an adhesive or construction foam can be introduced at the back between the cladding element and the soffit without any disturbing connection tissue.
To secure the connection of the rail with the adjacent plaster and / or filler layer, it is necessary that in the corner of the front and back a space for attaching a corresponding cleaning and / or filler is available. In order to form the free space, in the profile rail the front side profile section is connected to the connection section via a connecting section, which provides the corresponding free space.
Although it is conceivable that an improved connection between the rail and the adjacent plaster or the adjacent filler layer is present by the known embodiments with the wall sections overlapping connection profiles, so by the realization of the free space by means of the connecting portion a sufficient connection between plaster layer or Putty layer and the rail reached, so that no cracking is to be feared.
In order not to unnecessarily impair the subsequent decoration of the wall surface by means of wallpaper, painting or application of a decorative plaster, it is advantageous if the outer region of the profile rail is kept as small as possible. Therefore, the width of the visible side profile section is selected between 2 mm and 5 mm and / or the width of the front profile section between 4 mm and 10 mm. In extreme cases, the visible side profile section can be reduced to the material thickness of the front side profile section. Also, it is not absolutely necessary that the outer surface of the visible side profile section and the front side profile section is flush with the visible side or with the front side, although this represents the simplest and most expedient embodiment.
A sufficient space for attaching the cleaning and / or filler compound is advantageously realized when the connection portion is at least 10 mm from the front side. In addition, however, the terminal portion should not be more than 30 mm from the front side, since this otherwise leads to disadvantages with regard to the design of the plate-shaped covering element and no additional gain in the connection with the adjacent plaster or putty layer can be achieved. An advantageous use of the profile rail in a plate-shaped cladding element is further given when the width of the connecting portion is between 10 mm and 30 mm.
A simple and advantageous embodiment of the connecting portion is given if this represents a connecting line between the end profile section and the connection portion and in this case extends at an angle between 30 ° and 60 ° to the visible side. Consequently, a triangular space in the corner of front and back is realized. In this regard, it is irrelevant if the connecting section has a shoulder to the front side between 0 mm and 5 mm and a shoulder to the rear between 0 mm and 5 mm. This design favors the use of the plate-shaped cladding element, since in this case the processing cost for the production of the cladding element is low.
Alternatively, a complex shape of the connecting portion can also be realized, so that the free space is not merely a simple geometric shape in the sense of a triangle or quadrilateral. It is essential in any case that a corresponding space for introducing the plaster and / or filler compound is present and in this case a reliable connection between the rail and the forming plaster or filler layer is possible.
The design of the connection section influences the processing effort for the production of the cladding element. It can therefore also be advantageous to carry out the free space substantially rectangularly, wherein a toothed web is used within the free space to increase the adhesion to the adjacent plaster or filler layer. This must not extend beyond the back and must ensure an unrestricted introduction of the plaster and / or filler in the free space.
For advantageous introduction of the cleaning and / or filler in the free space and in particular for advantageous adhesion to the rail or the cladding element, it is also particularly advantageous if the connecting portion has a plurality of openings, which passes through the plaster and / or filler can be. Likewise, it is advantageous if the attachment portion and / or the connection portion has a plurality of openings, which allow an improved hold of the profile rail in the panel-shaped cladding element.
The embodiment of the apertures is initially irrelevant, wherein for advantageous increase in the adhesion of the rail both within the plate-shaped covering element as well as the plaster and / or filler the openings have a free cross section between 7 mm 2 and 70 mm 2 , in each case two openings one Spaced from each other from 5 to 50 mm.
Furthermore, the maintenance of the plaster and / or filler layer is improved on the rail if on the side facing away from the corner of the connecting portion, a further space is available, wherein the free space is connected in the corner with the other space on the advantageous breakthroughs. Thus, the cleaning and / or putty completely penetrate the openings and the hold is further improved.
In addition to the profile rail according to the invention, the invention comprises a cladding element, which is initially generic for covering a soffit, a lintel, a window or a door serves. In this case, this comprises a plate element, which, analogously to the profile rail, has a rear side facing the soffit and a visible side facing away from the soffit. The plate element is in this case designed such that on the visible side a decorative material can be applied as intended. This can be either a paint, a wallpaper or a decorative plaster.
Furthermore, the generic cladding element comprises a profile rail, which is fastened with a fixing portion in and / or on the plate element, wherein the profile rail covers the direction away from the window end of the plate member.
In the cladding element according to the invention now a profile rail is used, which corresponds to the previously described inventive or an advantageous embodiment thereof.
With the cladding element according to the invention thus an application for cladding a lintel or a soffit in a wall opening is made possible, so that even with slightly larger tolerances in the straightness of the masonry rework is unnecessary and a cost-effective embodiment is realized.
The embodiment of the plate element is initially irrelevant, provided that it has a sufficient inherent rigidity and can be easily provided with the desired decorative surface. Therefore, in an advantageous embodiment, a commercial building board is used as a plate element, which may be a plasterboard, a gypsum fiber board, a calcium silicate board or a clay building board.
When using a building board for producing a corresponding plate element, it is also advantageous if a groove is incorporated in the side facing the front side of the building board in which the Mounting section comes to rest, so that a stable connection between the rail and the building board can be realized.
As an alternative to the formation of the plate element by a building board, it is also possible to select a layer structure which has a corresponding building board at least on the side facing the visible side.
Moreover, it is advantageous if the plate element has a visible side forming support layer with a wall thickness between 2 mm and 13 mm and a back forming thermal barrier coating with a wall thickness between 10 mm and 25 mm. The use of a support layer allows the reliable attachment of the decorative material, while on the other hand allows the use of a thermal barrier coating on the back of a reliable thermal insulation in the window reveal or the fall.
To connect the rail with the plate member of the attachment portion can be designed and positioned variously. In this case, it is advantageous if, in a first embodiment, the fastening section is arranged between the base layer and the thermal barrier coating, in particular in a stepped shoulder of the thermal barrier coating. This embodiment allows for a simple processing of the plate-shaped plate member for attachment of the rail and on the other hand, the largest possible space for connecting the rail with the adjacent plaster and / or filler layer. The processing of the plate element turns out to be particularly simple when the mounting portion is arranged in a groove in the thermal barrier coating.
With regard to the embodiment of the plate-shaped plate element in adjoining the rail, various embodiments are available, on the one hand, the plate-shaped plate member may be processed such that this on the back of the end profile section and the connecting portion and the connecting portion is flush. Accordingly, the plate member is partially clamped between the mounting portion and the terminal portion. This promotes a secure hold of the plate member to the rail, while still a sufficient connection between adjacent plaster and / or filler layer can be realized with the rail.
Likewise, however, it may be provided that there is a further free space behind the connecting section on the plate element, which, in the case of advantageously existing openings in the connecting section, allows the plaster and / or filler compound to pass through into the further free space.
With regard to the rear-side shape of the profile rail with the connection section and the plate element, it is possible, on the one hand, for the connection section to come to rest on the rear side of a flat plate element. Advantageously, however, the plate element has a stepped shoulder on its rear side, so that the rear side of the profile rail, i. the connection section is flush with the back of the plate element.

In this case, the profile rail 06 is further formed by a short visible

In contrast to the previous embodiment, however, the
